Troy was a dragon that mostly kept to himself and was never eccentric enough to break any sort of social new ground. Though certainly wealthy and having lived a good life, there was something always missing, a piece of unfulfillment that was always nagging at the back of his mind. It mattered not how many fancy cars he owned or how luxurious his mansion was, or how exceptionally beautiful his wife was, it was never enough. That small missing piece grew and festered to the point that he found himself sitting at the edge of his bed with a loaded gun in his lap. It was during this time of mental turmoil that he realized what he was missing. A real thrill that could never be properly scratched without the greatest penalties being leveled against him.

That's where he was on his way now, to scratch this itch that had been bothering him for years. He'd be lying if he said he wasn't feeling uneasy or afraid, or any other host of emotions, but the one thing he wasn't feeling was regret.

Through the winding road he went, driving the least nicest car in his huge garage, which still turned out to be something of great luxury. He had taken several back roads and wandered on gravel pavement to the point that his GPS lost connection. He began to get concerned, he had been trying to find this spot for at least an hour and he felt like he was getting nowhere. He snaked around the contour of large hills flush with green trees. It seemed like times that the road would narrow to the point of only letting one vehicle on at a time, only adding to the mysterious nature of this particular club.

Suddenly the road ended at a stop sign that let out onto an adjacent winding road. The GPS finally kicked in and he was told to go left. Doing so, he was left on a path not too different than what he had just gotten off of, except not a minute later another road opened up to the left,, one that made the gravel he was on look like a newly paved highway. His GPS informed him to take it, and so he did.

To say this was a road at all was being generous, the grass had overtaken what had once been an ATV trail, the only indication of what to follow seemed to be warn in tire tracks. Troy grumbled as he bumped around in his seat, concerned for what this type of terrain was doing to his car. All the while he kept his mind focused though. From how his friend explained, this was the last stretch before getting to the club, all he had to look for was an open field and a lone shack stuck out in the middle of it.

The radio had long since gone out, so far removed from civilization he was left alone with the groan of his car and his own thoughts. He wondered if the jitters would ever leave, but in a way he didn't want them to. He hoped this feeling never left, the satisfaction before the kill. Just as Troy was momentarily lost in his own thoughts he became suddenly aware that a field had opened up to him. His eyes snapped to attention and he whirled his gaze around. He slowed as he eventually saw it.

Steeped in the shadow of a hill and among the cover of trees were several cars parked erratically near the trunks and not too far from them stood a lone, broken down shack with a single person standing beside the entrance. Troy blinked in confusion and slowly began to turn off to join the other vehicles. If he thought the road was bad before, the field was far worse. He thumped and bobbed around, seeming like he might get himself stuck in the tall grass that populated the area, but despite it all he was able to roll up to the makeshift parking lot.

As soon as he stepped out of his, vehicle the person that was standing right beside the shack was trotting up to greet him, immediately recognized as his friend. Glen was another dragon, though where Troy was covered in blue scales, Glen had a red and ebony pattern that traveled over his arms and legs, though his torso was mainly black.

"You finally made it!" Glen said excitedly and held his arms out at his sides like he was intending to give the new arrival a big hug.

"What the hell is this place?" Troy asked with a growl and gestured at the shack, which now a bit closer, was more of a run down shed than anything else.

Glen paused and turned to where his friend was pointing and then laughed. "Oh no! That's just a facade, the whole operation is underground."

"Underground?" the sapphire dragon said and then looked down at the grass between his feet as if he might see more evidence of this assertion.

"Oh yeah, it's a huge facility. Come on, I'll show you! We're expected anyway," Glen continued and turned back, waving with his arm for Troy to follow. He did, busily picking his way through the tall grass to come up on the other's side. Not really knowing what he should wear, Troy decided to dress like he was going to one of his meetings: dress pants, dress shirt, tie, and a jacket. It was definitely the wrong kind of clothing, every bit of himself was going to be dirty with pollen, burrs, and grass stains.

The front of the shed had a large red sign on it that simply read "Warning, do not enter," and a large padlock and chain that secured the door shut. Troy blinked in confusion as he stared at the heavy equipment, wondering if Glen had a key or something to get inside. He began to think of how much of a hassle it would be to re-chain and lock the door every time someone came in and out of it. To his astonishment what he thought was the front door was just another piece of the facade. Door, chain, and padlock all swung open, affixed to an even large faux panel and revealed what he thought was a shed was actually a very large elevator.
