The white day turned into an orange dusk, as Sasuga found herself coming to when the lazy glow of the sun setting hit her eyes. She squinted her eyes as she slowly opened them, seeing herself sitting in the passenger seat inside of Seif's SUV, with him sitting next to her and driving through the city streets.

"Seif...?" she mumbled as she sat up, a little groggy.

"Oh, you're up. That's good. I was beginning to get worried," Seif said in comfort, his eyes focused on the road.

"What... What happened?" Sasuga asked, her memory a bit foggy.

"You've passed out. I think that you over exhausted yourself when you used that healing power of yours," Seif answered her and it slowly came back to her, remembering the Skulled demon battle and how she actually was able to heal Seif's minor injuries. For a second there she thought it was all a dream, but seeing how Seif was wearing his blue suit over his bare upper body confirmed that it wasn't; she was able to see his bare muscled chest from the opening of his suit.

"O-Oh, I see..." she muttered and swayed her eyes away, blushing a bit at how ruggedly sexy he looked."Wait... I have healing powers, too?" Sasuga then said after the stunning realization hit her.

"Apparently so. I think your right hand represents your fighting spirit, giving you offensive electrical powers; and your left hand represents your kindness, giving you healing powers. Both signify your desire to protect," Seif explained best of his knowledge.

"My desire to protect..." Sasuga breathed, staring at both of her hands. It was still overwhelming for the kirin, but Seif's words actually made sense to her.

"I haven't seen anyone with incredible healing powers like yours, let alone two special powers. That's amazing," Seif stated impressively. Sasuga simply blushed, too flustered to have anything to say back.

"I'm... I'm just grateful that we both made it safely," the kirin said warily.

"Indeed. Let's just hope another one like that won't show up again any time soon," Seif replied and Sasuga agreed wholeheartedly. That skulled beast was dangerous and she shuddered at the possibility of facing worse. "Your home is nearby, correct?" Seif then asked as he drove through her district.

"Oh, yeah. Right after that turn," Sasuga directed him and he drove the car until finally arriving at her apartment building.

"Well, we're here," Seif stated, stopping in front of the building main entrance.

"Umm, yeah..."Sasuga replied timidly, as both of them sat silently for a few seconds, not sure what the next move should be.

"Uhrm, I guess, I'll see you soon, right?" Seif initiated and raised his hand for a friendly shake. Sasuga smiled and returned the shake, holding his big hand and feeling how warm and rigid it was.

"Yes, I certainly hope so."

"I know so, Sasuga," Seif breathed with a soft smile across his handsome muzzle, making the kirin blush for the umpteenth time today.

"Umm, thanks for everything, Seif. You've helped me more than I can express," Sasuga thanked him gratefully, holding his hand with both of hers now.

"You don't have to thank me. I did what any of us would do. You had it in you all along. Just stay strong, you're not alone. You have Barzard and Panja, and me, as well," Seif amiably said, tenderly holding her hands in his big palm. Saying that made Sasuga smile happily, but the warmth of the lion's hand made her flush shyly.

"Um, I, I guess I better get going now..." she regretfully muttered as she pulled her hands away, thought she wished if she didn't have to.

"Yeah... Both of them might be worried about you," Seif replied, referring to his golden wolf friend and his white lion cousin. Sasuga climbed down from his SUV and stepped away from the vehicle.

"See you around?"

"Definitely," Seif nodded back at her with a small smile before he drove off, quickly disappearing out of her sight. The kirin then breathed out in content. Despite the day starting out horribly, with her university suspension, she somehow felt she had achieved something far more important and meaningful. It was a dreadful and difficult day, but somehow she felt happy. Things were obviously going to get harder from here forth, but she had a feeling it would work out. At least she hoped so.

As Sasuga made her way up to her floor, her cell phone started to ring. She picked it up and it was a call from Hazard. "Hey Haz," she answered.

"Sas, you all right? Where are you now?" Hazard asked from the other side of the line, a worried tone in his voice.

"Yeah, I'm fine. I'm right in front of the apartment door now," Sasuga replied casually. Just after she said that, the door to his apartment opened up and from it came out Hazard.

"Whew, good. Come over here," Hazard sighed when he sighted the kirin and pulled her into his place by her arm, looking both hallways to see if anyone else was around, before closing the door shut.

"Wh-What's going on?" Sasuga asked, puzzled by the wolf's strange behavior.

"You tell me," Hazard replied, getting the kirin more confused. "Come, take a look at this." He led her to the living room and made her look at the TV, where Panja had the local news on as he was sitting on the couch.

"And we're meeting the teacher that was responsible of taking her class of third grade students to a field trip to the Oran Woods, the forest at the outskirts of Burgstein city, where the giant beast allegedly attacked them," a news caster camel was saying in the TV screen, as Sasuga's eyes widened in shock. "Are you with us now?"

"Yes, yes I am," the raccoon teacher Sasuga helped out was also in the TV, being interviewed.

"Can you tell us what happened?"

"W-Well, we were taking a stroll in the forest with the children, when suddenly and out of nowhere, this giant monster showed up! He was huge, like twenty feet tall, and looked like a spider with a skull head!" the teacher started to tell her story.

"How did you and the children survive?"

"I don't know if anybody can believe this, but a couple, a guy and a girl, did! The man kept distracted the monster away from us while the girl helped us run away to the buss. I don't know what happened to them after that, though. They both disappeared in the middle of the chaos. I hope they're both all right..."

"Very interesting. Oh, wait, they're telling me we have some exclusive footage of the giant monster, taken by one of the students mobile camera phones. Let's run it and see what this 'spider monster' looks like," the news caster announced and began showing grainy and shaky footage of the Skulled demon chasing after the class, which didn't showed much or clear shots of it.

"Let me guess... you had something to do with that, right?" Hazard then asked Sasuga, who was actually surprised that news travel this fast.

"Umm... yeah..." Sasuga mumbled.

"Holy shit! What the hell happened!? How'd you get all the way there!? Did you get hurt!?" Panja exclaimed, standing up and grabbing the kirin's shoulders in worry.

"I-I'm fine, Panja! S-Stop shaking me so hard, please!" Sasuga stammered.

"Oh, sorry! I was just so dead worried about you, Sassy! Glad you're in one piece, though!" the white lion said and hugged her closely.

"Uh, thanks, Panja..." Sasuga blushed at Panja's affection.

"Will you let her go so she could explain what happened?" Hazard said as he nudged the white lion's side.

"Aww, you're just jealous 'cause you're not getting any muscle hugs. You can join in, too!" Panja leered and pulled Hazard into the group hug.

"Gah! Goddamit, Panja!" Hazard grumbled, as Sasuga shook her head with a giggle.

A few minutes later, they sat down with some noodles and fried nuggets dinner, as Sasuga began to tell them what happened to her today.

"What the fuck!? They kicked you out of school!?" Panja gasped.

"Yes..." Sasuga replied.

"Those assholes! I'll go to them next thing in the morning and beat some sense into them until they take you back!" Panja exclaimed crossly.

"No! Don't do that, Panja! I appreciate what you're trying to do, but you'll only make it worse. The decision is final, so there's nothing anyone can do," Sasuga stated sadly.

"Aww... okay, but only 'cause you said so," Panja frowned, his ears drooping in sadness for the kirin.

"I'm sorry, Sasuga. I feel kind of bad, it's kind of our fault for getting involved in this mess, which caused you to lose your scholarship," Hazard said apologetically.

"Don't say that, Haz. I would've been involved regardless if I met you or not, don't you think? I'm very fortunate to have you both in my side, or else I wouldn't be here enjoying your noodles," Sasuga smiled back at the wolf, taking a slurp from his curry flavored noodles.

"Heh, you sure are taking it much better than I expected. How come?" Hazard wondered, curious at the reason behind the kirin's uplifted spirit despite the bad news of the suspension.

"Well, I happened to meet Seif on the way," Sasuga began to say, he cheeks turning slightly green at the mention of the blond lion. "He's the one who took me to those woods. When he heard about what happened yesterday at the university, he offered to help me get adjusted to my new powers and took me there for some training."

"Seif, huh? That lion is always about results. Did his training do any good?"

"Yes! Very good! I'm in control of my electrical powers now!" Sasuga answered elatedly.

"Sweet! Show me!" Panja eagerly asked of the kirin. She wasn't sure how she should show it to them without damaging anything or hurting anyone. But she eyed the nuggets and took one, placing it on the middle of the table in front of her then pointed her right index finger at it, shooting out a small charge of electricity from the tip of her finger and zapping the nugget meat into a crisp, much to the astonishments of both Hazard and Panja.

"Nice!" Hazard exclaimed.

"Awesome! I like it extra crispy!" Panja took the burnt nugget and munched it up in one go. "I'm proud of you, girl!"

"Thanks! I owe it all to Seif. Unfortunately, we were interrupted by that demon showing up and attacking the children. Seif fend it off so everybody else could escape. It was really scary, but Seif was incredible! He was able to defeat it with his bare hands!" Sasuga said in awe.

"Hotdamn! That's our Seif alright!" Panja remarked in pride.

"Heh, that's Seif for you, always the noble hero. He hasn't changed one bit," Hazard added with a smirk.

"He still got a little injured during the tough battle, but then I was able to heal him!" Sasuga then revealed to a stunned Hazard and Panja.

"Say what?" Hazard's ears perked.

"Yeah, I discovered that I have healing powers too. I don't know how and why."

"That pretty amazing! You never cease to surprise us, Sassy!" Panja exclaimed.

"Hrmm, that is amazing. I haven't seen that kind of power before," Hazard said in intrigue.

"That's what Seif said too," Sasuga mentioned.

"I want to see it in action! Show us, Sassy!" Panja said excitedly.

"Okay!" Sasuga shared his enthusiasm.

"Don't you need someone to be hurt before you can try it out?" Hazard then said and burst their bubble.

"Oh..." both of Panja and Sasuga breathed in disappointment at the same time.

"Ah well, I guess we'll see it when we'll see it. That was a very interesting story, Sas, but I think my noodles need some hot sauce to spice things up a bit." The wolf got up and went over to the kitchen, opening the top closet and reaching out for the bottle of hot sauce. But when he tried to fetch it, he accidentally dropped a big iron pan from there as it fell down on his head with a hard clunk. "Ow! Fuck! My head!" Hazard whined in agony as he crouched on the floor, rubbing his sore head.

"Look! There's our victim, I mean- our patient! Grab him!" Panja rushed over to Hazard and carried him over to the couch, dropping him on top of the cushions.

"Oumff!"

"Come on, Sassy! Try it on him!" Panja said and readied the wolf for the kirin.

Sasuga sighed at the silliness of it, but she shrugged and thought she might as well go along with it. She walked over to Hazard's side and placed her left hand on top of the wolf's noggin, right over the swollen bruise, as Hazard winced a bit. She took a deep breath and tried to repeat what she did with Seif, and in front of their eyes, a bluish glow came out from under her palm and blue light sparks started to coarse over Hazard's head. He blinked his eyes in wonder, as he felt the aching pain soon going away.

"Hey... it worked. I don't feel any pain. It tingles a bit, but it's the good kind!" Hazard remarked as he rubbed his cured head. Sasuga smiled brightly in joy, very pleased that she had something so helpful. With this healing power, she could truly help them when they really need it. She could help them in a way nobody else could. She could be a big asset, be useful. A good purpose for her new found powers.

"A purpose... my purpose..." Sasuga softly uttered. Was this what Seif meant?

"Hrm? You said something?" Hazard asked.

Sasuga smiled back and shook her head, petting the wolf's head with her right hand, "No. It's nothing. I'm just glad to be able to make you feel better, Haz."

"Wow! That was awesome, Sassy! You rock!" Panja exclaimed keenly and hugged the kirin snugly from behind, ending feeling up her bosoms.

"Eep!" Sasuga yelped in a surprise by Panja sudden move and accidentally let out an electrical burst from her hand, shocking Hazard slightly in the process.

"Gyaah! Not cool!" Hazard whined in pain.

"Oh God, sorry, Haz! I didn't mean it!"

"Whoa, good! Another patient! Heal him again, Sassy!"
