Out of control

The laughter of the gulls was the first thing Zake heard when he woke up. But only on one ear, the sound on the other ear was muffled by the sand that his head lay on. Actually, he felt wet sand all underneath his body. And something was covering his eyes... What was going on here? The otter tried to move and stretch his limbs, but it was not possible. Something restrained his limbs and made it impossible to move freely. First he thought he was still dreaming, but the feeling was very real. This was very disturbing, this was not right at all.

He let out a groan and lifted his head. He still couldn't see a thing. Then he ate the dirt. He felt how a paw pushed his head down. "Not so fast my little otter" Phrozt said. "You don't move until I'm done." "Shhhhhhh you will regret thissss" Zake hissed from between his teeth. But he felt how panic was slowly rising within his chest. He squirmed and flexed his muscles. Ropes were tightly holding his paws, arms, legs and ankles in place. Ropes everywhere. He was completely unable to move anything except for his tail. And he hated it. His breath sped up while his mind began to race. He growled and hissed and bit his tongue. This was not funny.

"Free me now and you still have a chance I let you live, filthy vulpine!" the otter grunted. He was not only losing his mind over these restraints. Last night he had this fox completely under his control. Zake simply could not cope with the reversion of roles this situation presented. Oh how he hated to be unable to move! Despair was following the panic and slowly crawled up in his throat. No, don't cry, he screamed in his head. There is some way out! But the ropes are too tight, his body answered. He felt how his body started to shiver.

"Your things are pretty cool. They suit me! I think I will keep them." Phrozt announced shamelessly. "And now..." The fox placed a paw on the otter's butt cheek. "Calm down, little otter." Following a strong reflex, Zake tensed up and with the force of despair he flung his strong tail against the fox. With a dull sound the fox fell over beside him. And was quiet.

Against his load breath Zake could hear nothing else but the waves. Oh no. He had knocked him out. This was terrible. Who would free him now?
