Talk of the Town
This is much different then what I usually upload I plan on writing different things but hey at least I'm writing again! Although I now remember the whole shrinking thing...at least it wasn't as bad as it was on FA:
A Greninja was walking down the street and everyone looked at him. You don't see a Greninja very often but this one in particular was well know. He was able to take down every pokemon gym in the city all in one night. One of the strongest pokemon the city has seen. However, since it was at night no one but himself knew how he won. He won by brainwashing the innocent pokemon in the room he did it so quickly it is almost as if it was at the same time. But of course it would only seem like that if it wasn't for his speed.
This Greninja in particular was very quick and was more ninja than pokemon. Whenever he would use his Water Shuriken the first one always held a real metal shuriken and the others didn't. There was rumors about this Greninja and only that no facts to be heard off and no one really had the guts to talk to him. Until one day...
He walked into the bar and the bartender froze with fear the Greninja pointed to the water and the bartender Croconaw slowly got him a glass of it. The Greninja just kept staring at the scared to death Croconaw. "I'm here to pick up the special order for Nike." the Croconaw bartender nodded and ran into the back and then gave him a small, blue box everyone at the bar stared at him wondering what is in the box.
He picked it up "Don't be so scared we aren't even in a battle" he pays the Croconaw bartender the money needed for the water, he drank it, put the glass down, and left. He went inside a gym a few blocks down and sits it on the counter. "Nike, Sir the pokemon didn't appear again" Nike shook his head. "Put it in my office I will deal with the box later" he leaves going downtown.
He owned a gym but he had a very big side job that earned him big bucks by the police. An Assassin the police have been trying to stop a drug dealer the only information they have was found out by Nike. It was a Gengar named Derek he was able to persuade even the most skeptical dealers into buying his. Of course this is illegal so he was going to be paid big time for catching this one. Nike knew how he did this he brainwashed them just like what he did, he thought they could relate in some way however he is prepared for the Persuasive way the Gengar might act.
Someone interrupted his train of thought "Hey Nike come to old granny" he turned and went over to a Kangaskhan. "Aww it is just like yesterday when in a split second you went from spoiled to happy child" he was happy to see her. Anyone would be even if they were insane their insanity would be gone for sometime she was really sweet and she was trustable. "Nike what are you doing now a days?" He sat in a stool in front of her "I'm going to take down Derek once and for all" she smiles "you know when I was younger they weren't so hard to be beat they didn't use that new fangled mind messing" he sighed. "Yeah must have been nice" she nodded and gave him a bowl of soup. "At least eat before you do I don't want anymore drug deals behind my shop" he finished the soup and went on his way and she waved bye. "Good luck!"
The moon slowly rises into the sky this is when Derek appears to strike a deal with anyone who does the same but they are always ripped off because of his ways. He stays on top of a building and looks down looking at Derek the Gengar and a Pangoro that periodically visits his gym so he knows to ban him. "Alright Derek show me the goods" he threw him the bag and he looked inside. "Who would have thought the rumored Gengar would stick to his word" Derek smirked. "Kekekek of course I would it only makes sense if I did besides you go to a gym smoking also relaxes the body" he hands him a cigar and lights it for him.
The pangoro took it and blew some smoke out "Yeah that place is cheap but the best stuff is in the back but expensive so this will help me relax before work making it easier" Derek looked at him. "The Strongest Pangoro needs a job?~" he acts shocked but this was to only put his guard down. "Unfortunately some Greninja did it fast and in one night I'm not very strong anymore" he taps it letting some of the burned stuff fall. "He also runs the gym I go to meaning this is priority it costs 200k poke dollars to just fight the bastard" Derek smirked wider.
"Money is easy however since the new law passed it is translated to Yen and my job hasn't updated meaning 20k yen isn't very easy" he finished smoking then looked at him. "Now I have the money here" he pulls out the money and Derek took it. "Nice doing business with you" The Pangoro left and this confused Nike. "The hell? Why didn't he do the thing?" He was behind Nike "Because you would have intervened and prevented from making it my monies worth" he turns around to see Derek.
"Derek the Gengar you are under arrest" he shook his head "Nike the Greninja don't think I would never have heard about you" he turns around staring at the moon. "Police are stupid they talk with their normal voice and all I have to do is disappear into the shadows and overhear everything" Nike stepped back he knows what is going to happen and he was prepared. "However after doing this I have grown bored of doing this" Nike didn't believe it
"I know you hesitate to trust me because just look at my track record I owe over millions of yen and when you catch me you get just about that much" he turns to face him. "However I can do you one better" Nike knew this would happen and he pulled out a water Shuriken. "Now now calm yourself Nike this is a friendly deal" he came over and pat Nike on the back. Nike suddenly felt relaxed and weak. "Turn me in and then continue the drug dealing your money is bound to increase" he knew what was happening and he had to stop it. He moves the other way "I rather just turn you in!" The Gengar laughed "kekekek I see you were prepared"
He kneeled down and moved his wrists up "Go ahead cuff me and take me" Nike wasn't sure if this was another trick or he was being serious. "No go ahead do your job" he went behind Derek and then placed his hand on top of Derek's head this injected venom it wasn't fatal it just will help keep him from resisting. Inside Derek didn't stand a chance he had no chance to resist and he fell into a deep trance with no possible way to wake up to save himself.
He turned Derek into the police and Derek was arrested he went back to his Gym and confronted the Pangoro and banned him. He went into his office and opened the package "Alright then let us see" he picked up the screen and projector "This will make the sauna better" he opened the sauna room door and started setting it up. When it was completed the hanged the headphones in each spot. He went in front of everyone in the main area.
"Alright then announcement time I have installed a special machine to help you cool down and relax faster" they would have no idea what will hit them. Some pokemon entered the room and was confused until they put on the headphones and he turned the projector on. A huge spiral covered the screen and words started protruding from the headphones.
Most people would use this to make money. He was different he used it for pure relaxation he then left and set the timer to 10 minutes and then he left his Gym and visited Kangaskhan again. "I want another bowl of soup" she smiled and gave it to him "Did you succeed in doing it?" Nike explained what happened and she giggled.
"You did a great job protecting this city sweety I think you deserve a little more than just some soup" she pulled out a box and opened it for him. It was a bunch of poke puffs "pass these around in your gym or sell them there" he looks at her "but won't that mess with your pokepuff business?" she laughed "it might but I still have one thing no pokemon can make~"
Nike looked at her curious "and what is that?" she shows him a red block "Poke blocks are really rare here so you can bet I won't be getting out of business anytime soon!" he chuckles in response while eating some more soup. A random note appeared in front of him addressed to him saying 'you were able to take down such a target as Derek I think you could be of use come meet me at your gym's private area' he read who it was from. Mysterious Mew. He had no idea Mew's still existed they are rare and Mythical. He ate his soup and left heading back to his Gym ready to confront this 'Mew'
