"Have you found out what you wanted?" Josette asked her boss as they were walking down the hall in their way to the building elevators.

"Oh yes, very," Khan answered with a content smile.

"Do you think he got your message, Master Khan?"

"I'm pretty sure he did. His rejection was enough. I like him. I can tell that he won't be easy. His part will be mine though, along with the rest. But first, I'll have him lead me to him. That will come soon enough," Khan's smile turned into a malicious grim face as he said that, while Josette remained expressionless, just following her master as they both entered an elevator that was going down.

Coincidentally, just as that elevator door shut and was going down, the one next to it went up and opened, and from it came out Panja, who headed straight towards Seif's office.

"Hey Juny! Lookin' gorgeous!" Panja made a quick stop at the secretary first, greeting her cheerfully.

"Oh, Mr. Panja! Haven't seen you in a while! Where have you been at?" June keenly replied, apparently pleased to see the big hunky white lion, as he sat his bottom on the side of her desk right by her side.

"Oh, you know, being there, doing that. My usual misadventures, like the one you and I have sometimes," Panja grinned devilishly at the sheepish deer, as she blushed and giggled, patting one of his beefy arms.

"Oh, stop saying stuff like that! Someone might hear you!"

"Please, no one's here except me and you, and my cousin is trapped inside his big, sound-proof office. If you want, we can have a little quickie right on this desk and no soul would know," Panja softy said in a husky tone, caressing the she-deer's reddened cheek tenderly with his big hand and staring into her eyes intently.

"Oh... Oh, Mr. Panja... th... that...W-We can't..." June stammered warily, unable to resist the charming blue eyes of the handsome lion.

"Ms. June, will you please stop your silly banter with Mr. Panja and just send him in instead?" Seif's voice was then heard speaking to them from out of nowhere and startled both of them.

"Yipe! What the hell?!" Panja yelped and jumped off of the desk, noticing that the voice was coming from under his buttocks as he accidentally sat on the intercom machine June had on her desk and somehow turned it on.

"Oh my god! I-I'm sorry, sir! R-R-Right away, sir!" the mortified secretary spluttered, feeling quite embarrassed and praying that her boss hadn't heard much of that conversation she had with Panja, as the white lion smiled back at her sheepishly and mouthing to her that it was going to be okay.

"Relax, Juny! Just go and fetch us some coffee, eh? Just remember to dip your finger in my cup to sweeten it up a bit," Panja said to her comfortingly with a wink, charming her yet again.

"Oh, whatever you say, Mr. Panja..." she wistfully cooed with a slight blush as she watched him enter Seif's office.

"Seif! Boy, it's so good to see you!" Panja joyfully exclaimed when he saw his leonine cousin, but Seif only answered with a stern glower. "Awww, don't give me that look. You know that I was just being friendly to your cute secretary," the white lion snickered sheepishly and Seif narrowed his eyes at him.

"Stop treating my staff inappropriately. Do you have any idea how hard it is for me to find a good secretary like June? Or do I need to remind you about what happened with the previous one? We don't need another sexual harassment case on our backs." Seif strictly scolded his white furred cousin.

"Eeesh... yeah, yeah, I get your point," Panja muttered with a wince, recalling that incident. "But it's partially your fault, too! You're the one who keeps hiring cute ones! I can't help it!"

"Oye..." Seif palmed his face with a sigh.

"Aw, don't be like that! Now c'mere and give your favorite cousin a big hug 'cause you missed him too!" Panja beamed and went over to the blond lion for a warm hug, as Seif gave in and returned the hug.

"You're my ONLY cousin."

"More reason to cherish me then! And DAYUM, look at you! Still as firm and well-built as I remember!" Panja said amiably as he hugged his cousin tightly and felt up his strong muscles under his suit, and Seif shook his head at that, though he couldn't hold back a little smile.

"How much this time?" Seif then directly asked Panja as they finally broke the warm hug, as Panja laughed at his sharp perception.

"Hey, that's not nice. Can't I come visit you just for the heck of it?" Panja pouted.

"Maybe when it's my house and the maid is working in while I'm away," Seif remarked in jest.

"Oh! Good idea! Which day is that again?" Panja said earnestly and made Seif roll his eyes.

"Just make with the number," Seif breathed with a grumble.

"Aw, just enough to meet life's ends for the next couple of years or so, Seif!" Panja confessed with a wide smile. Seif sat back down on his desk and brought out his cheque book from a drawer, while Panja helped himself to the mini-bar for a drink. "Oh, by the way, I found Haz! The sneaky bastard was hiding in this city!" the white lion then mentioned up after taking a swig of white grape wine.

"Yeah, I met him already," Seif said.

"What's the odd of that, huh? All three of us in the same place, again."

"Well, Burgstein is a very big city. I take you're staying with him?"

"Yup! Still a clumsy sexy wolfy, that Hazzy! Hasn't changed a bit. And he even found another bearer. How does he do that?"

"I guess that's one of his specialties. He can tell if there's anyone who bears the curse."

"Oh, and you would never guess who it is!"

"It's a girl, right? A kirin?" Seif guessed as he looked back at Panja stunned face.

"Wha-? How'd you know that?"

"Is she the same? The one my fa-... The one Grall stole?"

"Yeah, me and Haz confirmed it last night. It's the same egg we lost about four hundred years ago. It's really unbelievable how it survived that fall, but it did! And to be a bearer at that, too? She's a natural fighter, that Sasuga!" said Panja.

"Sasuga... so it was her," Seif murmured softly, remembering that event a couple of days ago when he almost ran her over with his car.

"Say what?"

"No, it's nothing. Anyway, here you go," Seif said and finished writing a cheque, handing it to Panja.

"Oh, you're too generous, Seif! What would I do without you?" Panja merrily exclaimed as he happily took the cheque and saw the huge number on it.

"Don't make a drama out of it. You own a percentage of the company, I'm just giving you your share," Seif replied.

"I know, but you own and run the whole thing! Thank you!" Panja gave his cousin another tight huge and added a grateful lick on the cheek, making Seif cringe at the rough feline tongue.

"Just go, I have work to do..."

Panja pouted, "Aww, fine. I gotta go pick up Sassy from school anyway. She's a sweet girl!"

"Just keep her safe. Barzard thinks something bad is going about behind the curtains, and I agree."

"You can count on me!"

"And remember, she's off limit," Seif sternly stated.

"Eh? Whatever do you mean?" Panja faked an innocent look.

"Off limit, Panja," Seif repeated in serious tone.

"Sure, sure, whatever, I'm not gonna do anything," Panja leered and opened to the door to head out, when June showed up then with the cups of coffee.

"Uh, I've brought the coffee you ordered, Mr. Panja," she said coyly.

"Hey, thanks! You're a sweetheart! Anyway, I'm off. I'll tell Hazzy you said hi and give him a kiss from you! Laters!" the white lion gladly took his cup of coffee and saluted, passing by June and giving her a sneaky whisk on the rear with his tail, causing her to squeak out embarrassingly.

"He's hopeless..." Seif breathed out in grief.
