Yaoi, the Rune Lust

Chapter Two

A Kit Tribute

Kit woke up, seeing that he's no longer bound to the tree. Did he die? He tries to sit up, finding himself really sore. As he rubs himself, he spots his clothes lying next to him as well as his staff. He thought that the wolf had killed him after tormenting him so. He didn't understand why he is still alive when he came face to face to a wolf.

"Kit!" Someone screams. Kit looks up from where he sat, seeing three foxes around his age running up to him.

"Ai! Knao!" Kit yells back. "Knao! Jek! Nat! Over here!" The three foxes ran over to him. The first one to reach him tackled him to the ground, hugging him as his long brown hair caress their bodies. He gets up off of Kit, helping him back up as well.

"Kit! Sensei was worried about you!" He tells Kit. The other two joined up.

"Knao, how long have I been missing for?" Kit asks the fox who just hugged him.

Knao has bright red eyes, long brown hair, and is at least a year older then Kit. He also has freckles lining across his face, making him looking slightly girly.

"Since this morning. We were worried, and went looking for you. Are you hurt? Nat brought some first-aid just incase!"

Kit looks to the youngest of the three. A little girl fox with white tipped ears. Her hair is brown, like Knao's, and has the bright red eyes. She doesn't have any freckles like Knao, but she also doesn't say much of anything unless it's important.

"Naw. I'll be fine." Kit looks to the last fox, Jek. Jek has pure blue eyes, short blond hair that curls around his ears. His ears and tail are more silver then white as he looks back to Kit. He's a year younger then Kit himself.

"What were you doing out here by yourself?" Jek asked.

"Practicing. Sensei says that I'm still not good enough. I'll show him though. One day, just you wait and see!"

"Why are your pants off, Kit?" Knao asked. Kit just realized that he was pant less, and without his boxers on too. He looks up to the other's, seeing Knao turning his sister's face away.

"You guys caught me trying to bathe." Kit lied, trying to laugh it off. He puts his boxers and shorts back on, looking up at the trees.

"Since you're found, we should head back to the village. I'm sure that Sensei is worried into a heart attack by now." Knao said. Nat agreed by standing up. Her hair doesn't fall past her shoulder's, very even along the bottom. Her brothers just falls half way down his back, slightly wavy.

"I think he's worried into four by now." Kit joked, trying to lighten the mood. Jek seemed distracted by something else. He sees blood underneath his friend. He doesn't speak up, for whatever happened there doesn't seem to affect Kit. His blue eyes darts off into the trees, hearing something.

"Both of you, quiet." He says, watching the trees. Kit held his staff, seeing that Knao is getting his fits up, trying to pull his sister behind him. Jek held a short sword in his hands, as he stood up.

The three boy's put Nat in the center, backed up to protect her from the danger as they each took a spot around her, looking back and forth.

"Four little foxes went for a walk." Someone sang half threatening. "One got pounced by a wolf who didn't talk. Three little foxes went for a walk. One got pounced by a wolf who didn't talk. Two little foxes went for a walk. One got pounced by a wolf who didn't talk. One little fox is alone on his walk. He got pounced by a wolf who didn't talk." A wolf with long, white hair stepped forth with four other wolves. The first wolf has a white tail and ears. Kit can tell that it's a guy, defiantly older then Knao, holding a long fencing sword in his hands. The other four have either grey or brown hair that matches with their ears and tails. The three boy's watched, still keeping Nat in the center of themselves as they were surrounded. "Looks like we have four little foxes, boys." The white wolf said with a smirk on his face. His eyes are as yellow as Rune's, just as sadistic too. "What should we do to them. Hmm?"

"Touch us and die, wolves!" Knao snapped, holding his fists up, not once breaking away from their gaze.

"Look, they have a little girl with them." One of the other wolves said. His eyes are as blue as Jek's, showing them all that he's a threat. "This is no place to treat a lady on a date."

"What should we do with them, boss?" Another asked. His eyes are brown, matching his brown hair color.

The white wolf steps closer to Kit, sniffing the air. Something that he smelled caused him to back up slightly. He looks hard to Kit, who just glared back at him.

"Get them, epically that one!" He ordered, watching his men and the three of four foxes get into a brawl. His eyes were more focused on Kit then the others.

Kit stood where he was, smacking one of the wolves with his staff away. He wasn't going to get caught again. Nor was he going to allow Nat to get caught as well. The wolf that was on him has brown eyes, grey hair, ears and tail. From the corner of his eyes, he sees Jek facing the other grey haired wolf with blue eyes. The two clashed swords against one another, trying to throw the other off. Knao held up against the remaining two who were both bleeding from the nose, cuts, and held bruises. None of them seen the white wolf fly by them, grabbed Nat, and cleared the creek.

"Enough of your petty brawling, foxes!" He ordered. They all looked, seeing a knife being held to the young girl's throat. Each of them froze, Knao's fists clenching tightly as his sister just looks back to them all. "Drop your weapons and guard or her blood will fill this creek." They dropped their weapons, allowing themselves to be caught. Nat's eyes watered up, back kicking the white wolf who howled in pain from the sudden attack. She took off running across the creek, trying to get away from the wolves to get help. The last wolf caught her, dragging her back.

"Let her go!" Knao ordered, glaring at the white wolf.

"But three foxes for a ransom is a really great plan." The white wolf said, looking back to him with an equal glare. "One of you will become my prize. You would never be able to leave my bed... again."

Jek looks to Knao and Kit who all looked to him. Nat looks too scared to move, but was lifted higher anyways to prevent another attack like that from happening. The white wolf turned, walking away as the other's pushed them to start walking. It's as Kit thought. All wolves are evil. First that black one, and now his white shadow.

"I don't care about myself." Knao said, walking. "As long as he doesn't want my sister to be his stupid prize."

"I don't think that will happen, Knao." Jek said, reassuringly. "Your sister isn't old enough for him, and he has no real interest in her. He would have killed her if we didn't put our weapons down."

"I shouldn't have went out." Kit blames himself. "If I didn't, then we wouldn't be in this mess."

"You didn't know that wolves were in the area, Kit." Jek said.

"It's not your fault." Knao backed up. "We'll all get back to the village, somehow."

Nat remained quiet, listening to the three. She really did try to escape to get help before it was all too late for her brother and friends. Now, the village would start to look for all of them. Possibly by sunset when they are all gone since morning.

"Hey! Snowy!" Kit growled. "Look at me when I talk to you! Take me if you want, but leave them alone!"

The white wolf stopped walking, looking to the fox who just yelled at him. His yellow eyes are cold, ordering. "You don't tell me what to do."

"It's an offer! You can have me if you want, but don't hurt them!"

The white wolf leaned in, whispering into his ear so only they knew what was being said. "I do plan on having you. Only to lure Rune to me. I can smell his mark on you." With that, he nipped at his ear, turned around, then walked on. Jek, Knao, and Nat all three looked to Kit who was just as confused as they were. Wolves are weird.

"What are you doing?" Someone asked in a threatening way.

"So, Rune. You have returned." The white wolf says, obviously knowing the voice. "Why would you care for a bunch of fox kids?"

"Yaoi." Rune's voice is again heard. He steps forth on the path they are on. Kit started to tremble with fear from the last encounter that he had with this black wolf. "Kidnapping isn't our way in the Heral. You know that."

"You also know that mating with a fox gets you out of the Heral pack." The white wolf walks up to him as the two glares at one another. "I'm doing you a favor, by keeping your secret and to destroy the evidence."

Jek looks to Kit, who is now showing his fear threw his eyes, even when he earlier opened himself up to be taken. His eyes darts back to the black wolf, and then he recalls the blood from earlier.

"So that's it." Jek states. Knao and Nat looks to him. Kit couldn't hear him.

"What's it?" Knao asked.

"That black wolf must have raped Kit. He's not so mouthy when he came into the picture."

Knao looks to Kit, seeing the fear in his eyes as well. "Your right. Kit! Do you know that black wolf?"

Rune's eyes narrowed, glancing at the four foxes. "We don't know each other."

"That's what you say, Rune." Yaoi chipped in. "He has your mark on him."

"Kit?" Nat softly called, frightened.

"Release them now, Yaoi." Rune ordered.

"Only if you agree to be mine." Yaoi said.

"You're kidding me!" Knao snapped. "That black wolf doesn't seem to like that white one at all, and he's trying to help us?"

"Not all wolves believe that we should fight one another. Just like not all foxes believe that we should." Jek stated. "This black wolf might look intimidating, but he doesn't want bloodshed because of another pack member. I'm certain that he also either raped, or caught Kit, who still hasn't said anything."

"But, I thought all foxes and wolves hated each other." Knao asked.

"Not necessarily. Some foxes and wolves live so peacefully together, that they are married, and have halfers. That sort of stuff is unheard of around here."

"How do you know?"

"Remember, I use to live in the north with my family. They sent me to this village because of a virus that attacked my village. They were so worried, that they sent me to the village until I get a message that the virus is no longer a threat."

"Oh yeah." Knao watches Kit with Jek. Nat just looks at the two wolves face off one another. Kit himself still couldn't find anything to say.

"You have a lot of nerve to be bribing foxes for my love. You should be happy enough that I haven't killed you all for your acts."

"That's right. The big bad Rune killed his own kind because of he's a fox lover." Yaoi teased. He looks back to three of the four wolves who held the kids, nodding to them. "They can go back and organize a search party for their friend who gave himself to me already."

"Run Nat!" Knao ordered, pushing his sister along the path. He looks back to Yaoi. "Release Kit!" Jek stood where he was released, making sure that Knao or Kit wouldn't get killed or do something stupid.

"Release him, Yaoi." Rune orders. Yaoi walks over to Kit, who just realized that the white wolf is standing against him, cupping his chin and being forced to look into his eyes. He glares to Yaoi who just grins. "Yaoi!"

"We made a deal. He is to be my prize in bed as long as I leave the others alone."

"You didn't say that you agreed to the terms!" Kit snapped, struggling in the wolf's grasp.

"Remember that nip on the ear?" Yaoi asked, grinning a sadistic grin as he watches the fox before get swept away in a wave of fear. "That was my agreement. I told you that I agree to it, making you mine."

"Is that true, little fox?" Rune asked, his eyes never once changing. He didn't like how Yaoi was advancing on the frightened fox.

"Get away from him!" Knao ordered, trying to think of his next action. Jek just remains quiet, watching.

Kit's glare softened slightly, looking into Yaoi's yellow eyes. "I did offer myself to him, but I didn't know that the nip on the ear was his acceptance to the offer."

"He did it to protect my sister!" Knao blurts out.

Rune looks to Kit. "Is this what you want, little fox?"

"No. But he was going to keep one of us to himself anyways. Ransom the others back to my village."

Rune looks to Yaoi again. "You should be very grateful that I didn't kill you, Yaoi." He looks down to Kit, his eyes still not changing. "I can't do anything to help you out, little fox. This is your own problem." He looks to the remaining two foxes. "You two can try to rescue your friend, but its part of the wolf's law that if a deal is set, and accepted, there is no going back." He looks to Yaoi. "No. Going. Back. You kill this fox, and then I will kill you." He turns, starting to walk away.

Yaoi smiled, seemingly to have the victory end of it all. He hugs Kit, like he was serious about making him as happy as can be. "He won't be killed. I promise you, Rune." His yellow eyes glare down to Kit, who only glares back. "Right young fox?"

Kit didn't say anything. He just kept glaring at the wolf, not at all trusting his words. Jek and Knao looks at the two, not liking what they see at all. It's wrong for them to leave him, and they do know that Kit doesn't like it. He just had to open his big mouth.

"Knao, Jek. Please watch over the village." Kit asked, not once taking his eyes off from Yaoi. "Make sure that everyone is protected."

"Yes. Leave your little friend in my hands." Yaoi says with an untrusting smile. "He is in excellent hands." The other wolves smirked, chuckling lightly when they heard Yaoi speak. "Let's go." He turns, leading Kit and the wolves off. Jek and Knao watched them walk off, fleeing not knowing what to do, or what's to become of their friend. All they could do was watch.
