Halloween at Fredbear's

"Ouch!" said Spring Bonnie as the knife he was using to carve a jack-o-lantern slipped across his finger, leaving visible mark, shortening a little bit of fur. "I shouldn't be allowed to be anywhere near sharp things"

"Oh boy" Said Fredbear, turning his attention away from the kids he was entertaining for a moment "what did you do this time?"

"Don't worry, we don't need to go to the hospital or anything" Spring Bonnie replied.

They where programmed to say things like hospital and bandage instead of back room and spare parts to help keep the children thinking they are animals and not animatronics.

"Well thats good... So hows it coming along?" Fredbear asked.

With a nod, Spring Bonnie said "Pretty good, almost done... Just finishing on the mouth"

"Fantastic!" He turned back to the kids "And it's close to closing time, so as soon as he's done with the Jack-O-lantern, we'll have one more quick song and we'll send you all off home with some candy to start off your trick-or-treating!"

The kids all cheered and Fredbear booted-up his filler jokes to pass the time.

After he told the third or forth lame joke, Spring Bonnie lit a candle in the Jack-O-lantern and stood behind it "Okay" he said "I'm going to dim the lights a little bit so we can see how it looks better" and turned a few of the lights closer to the pumpkin off, the tame and typical carving of triangle eyes and nose with a jagged smile.

The kids clapped and cheered as Spring Bonnie took a joking bow and went up on stage for their Halloween themed 'good-bye and good night' song.

Fredbear stood on one side of the double door frame and Spring Bonnie stood on the other, most kids lined up on Fredbear's side for candy, but to be fair, the restaurant is named after him.

Spring Bonnie had only about a quarter of the total kids on his side, he didn't mind too much, but the last kid in line made him really happy even though his fans where smaller in numbers. The child, a young boy boy had him bend down so he could whisper to him "The Jack-O-lantern looks really nice... you did a good job"

If Spring Bonnie could, he'd be blushing, he smiled and patted the kid on the back, sneaking him nearly twice as much candy as he was supposed to and said "Aww... Thank you"

"And thanks for the candy" The child replied before rushing off to his mom who was in a car.

Spring Bonnie turned and smiled at Fredbear, who was nearly over-run with kids before laughing a little and going to blow out the candle.

When the last kid in Fredbear's line walked out the door a worker locked the front doors and Fredbear walked over and sat on the stage next to Spring Bonnie with a relaxed sigh.

After a few minutes of silence, Spring Bonnie spoke up "I wish we could give out candy to more kids"

Fredbear looked at him, taking a second to think about what Spring Bonnie just said. Fredbear than replied "It's a bit late for that... We don't have any candy and you very well know that the workers ignore every word that comes from us"

Spring Bonnie sighed "what about some of the toys from the prize corner?"

"If we take too many, someone will think they where stolen" Fredbear explained.

"What about coupons and tokens?" Spring Bonnie questioned.

Fredbear quickly replied "Not enough printed, and it'd take a long time to print more... And a fair bit of money"

Spring Bonnie paused before saying "It's still pretty early... What if _ we _went Trick-or-treating for a hour or so and came back with the candy and gave that out?"

"Remember how I mentioned the workers?" Fredbear started "They wouldn't let us out and I doubt they would stay open for us to give out candy"

Suddenly a new worker stepped up to the two "I'd gladly hold the place open but theres no way the other workers will."

They both looked at the man, shocked "You take us seriously?" asked Spring Bonnie.

He nodded "But I just might have a plan already... Give me a minute" he spun on the spot and rushed down a hall.

He slowed to a stop before a door to catch his breath And shortly after, walked in "Hey, I have a bit of a... Problem and could use your help"

"Yes, whats the problem?" asked the older employee.

"Well..." he started "My sister was sick and couldn't make it here for the Halloween shows and she can't go trick-or-treating"

"What does that have to do with me?" the old employee asked.

He sighed "I need to know how to use the a suit"

The old employee looked at him "I normally would say _knock yourself out _and toss you a key... But NO"

"Why!?"

The old employee sighed "Don't tell the other workers... It's too dangerous"

"Well... Maybe I'll tell my father that you would have trained me later to use a deathtrap and not mention the danger" he said, crossing his arms smugly.

"I can't win here... Can I?" The old employee questioned.

He shook his head.

"Okay... But take Fredbear and listen to the tape recording I left in the safe room... Seriously... I'm only letting you do this because of who your father is..." the old employee explained.

"Gotcha" he said before rushing back to the stage. "Okay boys. To the safe room!" he excitedly called, nearly sliding into a table to stop.

Spring Bonnie jumped up "W-what!?"

"We are going Trick-or-treating!" he said, starting the walk towards the safe room.

Spring Bonnie and Fredbear followed, Fredbear asking "How did you convince anyone to let you do this?"

"Well... My little sister is sick and couldn't make it to the show... Don't worry, it's just the flu by the way... And mom said she also couldn't go trick-or-treating, so we are going to go and get her some candy and give her a little show!" he explained, mostly talking almost too fast to understand.

"Awesome!" Spring Bonnie exclaimed as they walked into the safe room.

"Okay" he started "So the weird guy that handles all the phone calls said to wear Fredbear and to listen to his recordings" he picked up the cassette player, pressing play.

"Uh, hello? Hello, Hello!? Welcome to your ne-" He pressed the fast forwards button, the phone guys voice becoming a squeaky garble for the few seconds he held the button "-ay close attention while learning how to operate these suits as accidents slash ** injuries *slash * death **slash irreparable and grotesque maiming can occur-"

He paused the tape as he started to nervously laugh a little. After calming a little, he fast forwarded it again.

"_-To change the animatronics from mascot mode to suit mode, insert and turn firmly the hand crank provided by the manufacturer. Turning the crank will recoil and compress the animatronic parts around the outside of the suit providing room to climb inside. Please make sure the spring locks are fastened tightly to ensure the that the animatronic devices remain safe... We will cover this in more detail in tomorrows lesson. Re-" _He shut it off.

"Well... That really helped calm me down" _he _joked.

"Don't worry, I'll coach you in buddy" Spring Bonnie said.

After a few minutes, _he _managed to climb into Fredbear safely with the help of Spring Bonnie.

"Okay, I'm ready, are you two ready?" he asked.

Spring Bonnie nodded "And Fredbear can't say anything or control his movement in suit mode, so your in control"

He nodded and made Fredbear walk out the safe room than out the front door into the cool night air with Spring Bonnie right behind.

After a hour or so of going door-to-door looking for candy, he was feeling a little tired and starting to sweat.

"How you holding up in there, buddy?" Spring Bonnie asked, using the nickname he came up with not knowing his real name.

"Just need to catch my breath" he started "It's pretty warm in here!"

"Are you sweating?" Spring Bonnie asked.

"Yeah, a little"

Spring Bonnie pointed to a bench "You should sit down... The moisture isn't good for the spring locks"

He sat down with a thud. "Take it easy!" Spring Bonnie scolded before saying "Let me lift the head off to help cool you off"

He thanked Spring Bonnie and started looking at the decapitated mask.

Spring Bonnie heard a voice, it was a familiar voice, he stood up and turned to face the direction it came from.

"What is it?" he asked.

Spring Bonnie thought for a moment "A voice... Wait here" he started to walk towards the voices.

"Give me back my candy!" The kid shouted at his brother who was wearing a foxy mask.

"Why should I? You gonna cry?" His Brother teased.

The boy knew he probably would cry, but he wanted his hard earned candy back. He took a few running steps towards his brother who just snapped the masks jaws at him, making him jump back again.

"Hey!" shouted Spring Bonnie "Leave him alone!"

The brother in the mask said before even turning "Yeah? says who?"

The little boy rushed over to Spring Bonnie, calling his name excitedly.

Spring Bonnie thought he recognized the boys voice, now he knows that it's the boy that said the jack-o-lantern looked good. "Hey little guy, whats wrong here?" he asked.

"My brother took my candy!" He said after wiping a tear away.

"Oh is that so..." Spring Bonnie looked to the brother in the foxy mask, taking a step closer "How about you give his candy back"

The brother let out a little laugh "Yeah right... How about you make me!?"

"Alright" Spring Bonnie said, stepping closer and gripping the mask by the muzzle "I'll give you to the count of three to put down his bag of candy"

"Good luck with that"

"One...... Two..." Spring Bonnie counted, taking a longer pause for three... He pulled the mask off the brother, sending it up in a tree "THREE!" He shouted, picking up the brother with one hand and yanking the bag free with the other before tossing him to the ground on his back.

He scrambled to his feet and ran off, tripping over his own feet a few times.

Spring Bonnie handed the bag back to the boy "There you go... You have a happy Halloween" he said before walking away.

"Thank you Spring Bonnie!" the boy shouted.

Spring Bonnie got back to the bench "Do you have enough candy?" he asked.

_He _nodded "Sure do... Here, I'll show you to my place after you put this mask back on me"

Spring Bonnie helped him back in the mask and _he _lead the way to a near by house, they went in without knocking, being careful not to bump their heads on the door frames.

"Should I get out of suit so Fredbear can preform too?" _he _asked.

Spring Bonnie nodded "Thats not a bad idea"

After a few minutes, he was out of suit and Fredbear was properly working.

They knocked on a bedroom door, a tired, sad girls voice called out "Come in"

Fredbear opened the door and jumped in "Happy Halloween!" he cheered.

Spring Bonnie followed in with the sack of candy "Happy Halloween!"

_He _stepped in "Happy Halloween sis... It took a while, but I got you some candy and Fredbear and Spring Bonnie here to do a show just for you!"

She was now sounding much better, and obviously very happy now "Oh my gosh! Thank you!"

After a short time spent preforming, Fredbear and Spring Bonnie both gave her a little hug Fredbear saying "You get well soon, can't wait to see you again"

"Yeah, good night kid, get well soon" Spring Bonnie followed up.

The three walked out, turning the lights off so the girl could sleep and he _showed the way back to the diner... _He unlocked the door and let the two in. Fredbear took the lead to the stage. Spring Bonnie stopped and asked "hey, whats your name anyways?"

_He _paused for a moment before saying "You can call me Michael"
