Chapter six

The attack on Iran got the attention of the United Nations, especially after the United Kingdom spotted me leaving the aircraft carrier. There are inquisitions of the American ambassador about the weapon they used and He didn't know about me. He makes a call and gets the reply, "Sorry, top secret." Even NATO got into the act and was told the basics of it

My children are a year older (Alice looks like a six year old and Michael, a three and a half year old.) and a year wiser. I get back to inventing. I invent the ultimate computer. (It makes a super computer look slow and it is the size of a standard laptop and a true Artificial Intelligence to run it. It is female and has the beginnings of a personality.)

After the mission over Iran, I was asked if I needed anything. I had asked for, a raise in pay, (Which I got, I am now getting paid at a four star general's rank) a fast Internet connection, (A T-1 line with no restrictions), and a research center. (This center had 1,000 square feet but I magically enhanced it to 10,000 square feet. Which makes it larger on the inside than the outside)

After I create Maggy, (The super computer) I set up the Internet startup, Magic Incorporated. After several days on the search engines I get about a hundred hits. On the website they can make a wish. If the wish is not silly, like for the winning lottery numbers or millions in cash, then it is passed on to me. (And on the site I put the creation video of Michael, with me as a customer. It is good advertising.) After that I get thousands of hits and hundreds of wishes. 99 percent of them are for selfish reasons. The remaining one percent is different. I get one wish from a concerned parent asking for help for her daughter who has cancer. I write back and ask where she is now. The daughter is at her house waiting to die and I am given an address.

I gather Alice and Michael and teleport to the address given to me and I knock at the door. A black woman appears.

"Yes."

"Are you the one who sent me a message about your child with cancer."

"Yes I am."

"My name is Alex Brown and these are my children Alice and Michael and we are with Magic Incorporated. We are hear to help."

She looks at us and wonders what is going on.

"May we come in."

"Please do."

I enter the residence and we are directed to the kitchen.

"My name is Viviana and my daughters name is Kande. She was struck down with an incurable bone cancer with a name I can not pronounce right. You are my and my daughters last hope."

"Show me your little girl."

We are lead into a bedroom where a little girl that looks like an advertisement for death.

"Kande, This is Alex, Alice and Michael."

Kande looks at Alice and Michael and gets a little scared.

"Don't be frightened," I say. "We are here to help you."

"Daddy," Alice says. "May I help her?"

"Go right ahead."

Alice reaches out and touches Kande's hand. Alice is in concentration mode looking for anything out of the ordinary.

"I see it and several other sites."

Kande tells us that she is feeling warmth in the areas of the cancer.

"There I got it all."

"May I check, Alice."

I touch Kande and check Alice's work.

"She is cured. You may have her checked out at the local hospital if you want if you don't believe me."

"Momma, I feel a lot better and I'm hungry."

"She's hungry. I had to force her to eat something the last few days."

"Feed your child and get her dressed and we will go to the hospital and have her checked out."

We watch as Kande eats and gets dressed and then we head outside to her small car.

"I don't have enough room for all of us."

"No problem. I have a faster way for us to travel. Now hold hands."

I get a fix on the children's hospital and teleport there.

"How did we get here so fast?"

"Magic."

We enter and speak to the Oncologist on duty. We tell him of the cancer the little girl had and we want to see if any remained. He doesn't believe me.

After two hours of tests the results are in, Kande is cancer free. The doctor comes to me and asks me how.

"The three of us has the ability to heal the body from the near death state."

"Can you come with me?"

We follow the doctor down the hall and see children of all ages with cancer of one sort or another. Then we are brought to a room with an airlock. This is one of the sickest child that I have seen. The immune system is ruined and cancer has run amock. The worst thing is the child is Michael's age. I put on a clean smock, footies and pants and after putting on gloves and a face mask, I enter the air lock.

"What is your name?"

"Alex."

"What a coincidence, my name is Alex, too"

"Are you going to hurt me?"

"No, I am not going to hurt you. But I need to touch you."

"Okay."

I touch the boy on the hand and send healing waves into the body. The first thing is that I restore the immune system. Then I remove the cancer.

"There all done."

"That felt good."

I leave after saying goodbye to Alex and talk to the doctor.

"I have restored the immune system and cured the cancer in this child."

"We will have to check that out."

I send Viviana and Kande home and return to the hospital.

"Totally impossible, yet the child has made a full recovery."

"It is possible, now."

"How may I contact you in the future?"

I create a card with my website on it and I tell him to make a wish.

I return to home and add information to Maggy for future reference.

One day I get a visit from school authorities wondering about the schooling of Alice. I tell them that she doesn't need schooling. They ask why. I tell them that she already knows everything that she needs to know. That made them unhappy. I get a call from General White on the matter.

"Alex, I just got a call from Social Services. They want me to separate you from Alice and Michael."

"And what did you do about it?"

"I declined the request. I informed them that separation is unacceptable and I would do it only with the order of the President of the United States."

I accept that until...

One night as I setting the kids into bed, the front door is kicked in. I cast the protection spell as they enter The first men enter the building and I shoot them with stun missiles. I create a set of handcuffs for each person on the entry team and sit them down on the couch. When they wake up, I interrogate them using compel truth.

"Who are you and why are you entering my house."

"I am MP officer Smith and the reason I am here is that I got a report of child abuse."

"From whom?"

"Child Protective Services. They said that your children are not going to school."

"Did you report to the military commanders before the operation."

"Yes, and they approved of it."

"I have to make a call."

I call General White on his cell phone

"General White, We have a situation."

"I had three men enter my house claiming to be Military Police."

"They said that I was abusing Alice and Michael by not allowing them to go to school. And the commander allowed the operation to go on."

"They are sitting on my couch."

"All right, I'll wait for you."

General White comes into the building and interrogate the prisoners

We get the name of the commander in charge of the operation. Then I hear over the phone the threat of court marshal if this happens again.

The next morning, me, Alice, Michael and General White make a visit to social services.

"What can I do for you?"

"I want you to stop this crusade against my children."

"I won't. These children belong in school."

"What do I have to do to prove to you that they are being taught."

"Have them take a test."

"Good, get a copy of the GED or the SAT, your choice and I will prove that the kids are being taught."

"Are you kidding, she is only six years old."

"She's little older than that but she is so smart that she knows everything in the world. The kids are ready for the challenge."

"Come back in a week and I will have a test ready for them."

A week passes and we return to Social Services. Alice and Michael are given a test that determines grade level. When the results come back, You should have seen the faces of the social workers.

"How is this possible, the results determined that the kids should be in college."

"I tried to tell you that, but you wouldn't listen."

"I have one more test to do on them and I will back off if they pass."

"Bring it on."

Three days later we are brought into a testing room with a half a dozen other people. Alice and Michael are sat down and they takes the test provided to them.

Six weeks later, I get some documents from Social Services, Alice and Michael's GED and grade score. That stops Social Services in that case.

Back to the website, I get a wish to stop a particular war that has gone on for over many decades but has had a cease fire in place in that time.

I get into writing back and forth with this person. I find out he is a low level official in the government of South Korea. He is tired of hiding twice a year during air raid drills.

I contact General White and relay the request.

Over the next three weeks, the request is processed, inquiries are made of the South Korean Embassy and I meet with officials of the South Korean government. I offer them unification under one government. Theirs. They wonder about retaliatory strikes against them. I tell them that they will be safe and show them the demonstration tapes the military made to show the Congress of my powers. I even tell them the classified information on my invasion of Iran. They agree that I am the man for the job.

I await final approval for the operation when China gets wind of it. I relay to them that If they attack, Beijing will be next. And I would not be subtle about it

China backs down after seeing my power, but sends a warning to North Korea of the attack. After hearing that one man was going to take over the country, they respond with laughter.

I get final approval and take Alice and Michael to South Korea. For a week, we see all the technology in the country. Then I leave Alice and Michael in the capable hands of the South Koreans after telling them to mind their manners and be polite.

Daddy is off to fight another war.

We watch as he leaves and I miss him already. The family of one of the officials first didn't want to care for us, but Daddy convinced them if they want to reunify the country we had to be cared for. So here we are. The mother notices us staring out the window. She talks to us. I can thank Daddy for teaching us the Understand Languages spell and the Permanency spell.

"Do you miss your father?"

"Yes, we do. I don't like it when he is gone."

"Why is that?"

"I am afraid he will get hurt."

"Your father will be fine. He is strong."

"I can't help but worry about him."

Three days later I hear an explosion coming from the north yet I don't see where it happened. On the news that night, I hear that every land mine on the 38 parallel had exploded. The next day we hear air raid sirens go off. I cast Overview of the Korean Peninsula. I see a missile that had been launched and one other thing, there is a protection spell around North Korea. I watch as the missile hits the shield and detonates its conventional explosive. After the first one, no more missiles are launched. The next day, I am looking out the window and I hear Daddy's voice.

"Hello, little one."

"Daddy, is that you."

"Yes, it is, Alice."

"What message do you want to send this time?"

"Tell them victory is mine and I will be home as soon as I am relieved."

I tell the official Daddy's message and he gets on the phone to his superiors.

Three days later Daddy has returned. We hug him and then we are brought to a formal ceremony where Daddy gets medals and Daddy is treated as a National hero. In the hotel, Daddy tells us what happened.

"Well, I had to cast a really big spell to cover North Korea which took two days, then I set off all the land mines along the 38 th parallel which took some time. Then I took the chance and walked across the border. In the confusion, I took over their camp. After seeing the missile launch, I headed for that base and destroyed it."

"Wow, Daddy. Did you use Lucy again."

"Yes, I did and they were scared of her."

"I understand the legends of the Dragon but I am not scared of her."

"Well then, Then I flew to the capital city to search to the leader. I found him all right but he was unable to help me." (He committed suicide.) "So I searched for someone that could help me and found one person. She helped me control the people."
