First off I don't own any chars of Digimon series or any names that involved in this story. However, I do own Albino and Soul in this story. I apologize first hand if there are spelling and grammar errors since my English is my second. The stories consist of 99% furries and note that every Digimon series: there's always interaction between human and Digimon whether they are outside or inside the Digivice. Anything else, please enjoy

Chapter 29: Finding Some Potentials. Part-2

Al was truly surprise to know that Zero can see the anomalies as well. "You can see it?" Al asked.

Zero turned to Al in surprise. "You too?" he asked when Al asked that.

'Oops...' Al spontaneously clasped his jaw. GreenGuilmonX look closely at the Geckomon Zero pointed. "I don't see anything, Zero."

Zero wanted to protest stating what he sees but was halted by Al. "Zero I know this might sound crazy, but only you and I can see it."

"How can you see it?" Zero asked.

"It's a long story but I will tell you once we get out of here." Al answered then looked at GreenGuilmonX and Soul. "Everyone, whatever you do, never touches that Geckomon or do not let it touch you."

Everyone nodded in fear by Al's warning and stepped back slowly. Suddenly Zero grunting in pain for no reason which gave attention from GreenGuilmonX and Soul. "What happened?" GreenGuilmonX asked in concern.

"I don't know my body suddenly in pain." Zero said it within grunts which gave Al an uneasy looks. He spontaneously looked at the fragment inside his body and it shaken real hard.

'It does that? Why do I have a bad vibes from him?' He asked in his thoughts and looked spontaneously at Geckomon. The corrupted Geckomon is charging forward by tackling at them which surprised Al. "Everybody stayed away from it now!" Al warned them and it worked. He got the attentions from the rest and looked at Geckomon.

All of them dodge the tackle. The Geckomon didn't stopped there; it starts to attack them like frenzy. All of them manage to avoid the attacks but the weirdest thing is that the attacks were made for Zero. "Was it me or that Geckomon is attacking Zero?" Soul asked to Al.

"I think so, probably because of the Glitch fragment that still inside him." Al stated his hypothesis.

"What should we do?"

"Sorry, there are no we in this situation." Al attempt to smile at Soul but he can't. "I've heard the results when the Glitches got contacted with the real Digimon and I'm not going to let you in on this one. So you should run away from here as far as you can. And if you meet the others, tell them that we are here fighting against the Glitches."

Soul starts to run away to the nearest portal. Al looked at the scene that Zero who leaned against GreenGuilmonX was attacked by Geckomon. Al looked at the fragment again and it shaken very strong. 'Was it because of that fragment?' "GreenGuilmonX, Zero! Get out of here! I'll try to hold it here as much as I can!" Al yelled.

"What about you?" GreenGuilmonX asked while dodging the attacks.

"Don't worry about me, just go!"

"We can't leave you behind!" Zero grunted.

Al smiled at them. "Like I said before, I'm doing the right thing even it means my death." Al replied feeling a little confident. GreenGuilmonX and Zero left the scenery leaving only Al and the corrupted Geckomon. The Geckomon intend to tackle again, but it got blocked by Al.

The Glitches spread rapidly in that area. Just like his previous encounter with the Glitches inside the game, the corrupted Geckomon suddenly shattered into millions of data. Slowly the shattered data reunite piece by piece creating a new form. Al ran last time when the process occurred, now he see the process. The process starts from bottom to top and the process took quite a while. Al can see that the new form has red skin and oversize stomach. The height is taller than him and it's definitely larger than him. "Zero!" Al heard a yell from behind him. Al saw the source and it was GreenGuilmonX kneeling down beside Zero who is grunting in agonizing pain.

Al quickly ran toward them. "What happened?"

"I don't know he just collapsed out of sudden." GreenGuilmonX replied. Al saw that Zero's body trembled real hard as if he was paralyzed. Al looked at the fragment inside the body and it covered his whole body. 'The Glitch Fragment enveloped him.' Al said it in thoughts. Al saw that GreenGuilmonX touched Zero and didn't get infected. 'I could assume that it was localized.'

"Help me get him up. We don't want it to see..." Al asked GreenGuilmonX to help him when he heard a booming sound coming from behind. "...us." He continued his sentences after hearing the booming sound.

Al looked at his behind and GreenGuilmonX follow. They saw a large Digimon which it's higher than a tree and wide as five sewer lids lining up. Its skin is red, and has a green tutu around its neck. Behind it has two gramophones aligning with its side of its head. Al and GreenGuilmonX become paled because what they saw not only one but three of them and they saw the team.

Al is tremble in fear for the situation is worse than the last. "Run Green!" Al called his best action for this situation and run away carrying Zero on his shoulder with the help from GreenGuilmonX.

The giant Digimons intend to chase them but because of their enormous belly, their movements are slow.

"What is that?" Al asked while focusing on his weight.

"That is ShogunGeckomon, an Ultimate level Digimon." GreenGuilmonX replied. "That Digimon shouldn't be here. In fact it doesn't exist in this map."

"I promise to tell Zero about everything but my guess that you should listen as well. What you see just now is a virus infection. It can manipulate anything they see fit. Your friend is also being infected by the same virus and right now it paralyzed him. You can't see it with your own eyes but I can see that the virus enveloped his body." Al explained. GreenGuilmonX heard the last part and spontaneously let go of Zero. Al lost his balance because of sudden weight change and fall.

Al grunted in pain. "Ow... I assume that you let it go on purpose." Al grunted at GreenGuilmonX and he nodded. "Relax; I can also see that you are not infected because it was localized. Trust me on this and help me get him off, his weight is killing me." GreenGuilmonX is still in doubt but he complied.

"Now continue on, this virus is completely danger to us and it is my job to find its source and eliminate it. So far, this virus can makes everything real even the injuries you got in your PC. Right now, I feel the pain on my knee so I don't know and don't want to know when we got killed in the game during the infection."

"Should we warp out from this map?"

"I wish I want to try it but my friends told me it's been blocked which means we are stuck in here."

"What should we do?"

"For now we wait and survive until help arrived."

"Help...?" GreenGuilmonX asked then they heard a scream from somewhere. Al recognized the scream and dashed toward the source.

"Soul, where are you?" Al called hoping that scream wasn't Soul's.

"Al... Help!" The voice definitely belongs to Soul. Al heard it and headed toward the source where one of ShogunGeckomons is headed. Al found Soul is hiding at one of the trees paralyzed in pain. He saw Al and started to cry. "Al, it hurts."

"It's alright. I'll do everything I can to save you. Right now we must get out of here. The Glitches is close by." Al tried to ease Soul and pick him up. The ShogunGeckomons are very close that Al tried to let them pass by sneaking around. Al thought that he managed to avoid them when he heard a booming sound followed with an explosion at the ground behind him. The shock pushed Al to one of the tree and gets slammed. Al grunted in pain again and remembered that Soul is with him. He looked at his arm and saw no one. He looked at his surrounding and saw that Soul was thrown further than him. Al intends to reach him but got stomped by the ShogunGeckomon.

Al screamed in pain from the pressure that he can't think straight. His last thought was to save Soul and without noticed he extend his claw to reach him. ShogunGeckomon intend to attack again by inhaling so much air around him. When ShogunGeckomon wanted to release the skills, an energy beam collided with it and loses its focus thus the booming blast went elsewhere. Al looked at the one who shot the giant down but he can't see it clearly because his vision is out of focus because of the pain.

The savior landed at Al's side and once again that he can't see it clearly except he knew that it was red. "Who...?" Al asked.

"It's me, Al." The familiar voice answered his call. Al knew that GreenGuilmonX has evolved into WarGrowlmon because of the jets when he was landing.

"Green, take Soul out of here." Al told him, but he hesitated. "Listen, don't worry about me. Just Go!"

GreenGuilmonX nodded and take Soul to the safe place where Zero is resting. Al has finally regained his focus and tried to distract ShogunGeckomon. He unleashed his "Mega Flame!" to ShogunGeckomon. The explosion distracts the attention and now focused on Al, of course the explosion also attracts other ShogunGeckomons.

Al intends to dodge every attack the ShogunGeckomons gave but his injuries has limited his movements thus the bruises and scratches keeps adding up. 'Damn, the pain is killing me. I wish I could transform into that form like last time.' He thought thinking that ultimate form has more power and speed for this situation.

"YoU CaN, jUsT Do wHaT YoU DiD BeFoRe." The cold dark voice inside of him replied.

Al was surprised that the Glitch replied but he complied. "Alright if you said so then..." In reality, Al reached his game Digivice. His will power to protect others somehow resonates to his device thus it gave new power to the PC. "ALTERED EVOLUTTION!" Al yelled and everything stops. Al saw two forms like he saw last time, one with the claw and the other with a gun. Al already made up his decision and chose the gun form.

The Greymon's form disintegrated leaving only the outline grids of the body. Slowly the outline expanding into formidable sizes, and ribbons of data stars to enveloped the grid. The metallic helmet, wing armor and the revolver stars covering the head, torso and left claw. Next comes covering the remaining of the grid with orange reptilian scales just like Greymon. Last, adding some blue scars detail and red hair to finish the form. In instinct, Al removed the slot magazine and rolled it to check it is in good condition. Once he sees fit, he put back the slot back where it was and ready for battle.

After everything is finished, time resumed and Al jumped to the air and starts shooting at the enemies. The bullets does no effect on it, the possibilities were high recoveries from the Glitches. 'Alright, how about last time...!' Al thought and aimed at one of the ShogunGeckomon. He charged up and unleashed "Trident Revolver!" to ShogunGeckomon. The attack only bares a small scratch on ShogunGeckomon's skin. Al looked slowly at the scratch and it didn't heal fast.

'I guess they only had thick fat layer of defense. How about I gave the toads some sting of their life?' Al said it and prepared the next skills called "Rising Destroyer!" Beams coming out from the wing cannons and the chest armor and focused it on random target. The beam hit one of the gramophones and the gramophone broke. Al used it again and this time he focused it on the head. The beam got a direct hit but it only gave a small wound. Al keeps on using the beam again and again in order to form a hole on ShogunGeckomon's head but his concentrations were divided because he also had to avoid any attacks from other ShogunGeckomons.

After shooting the giant for 15 times, the ShogunGeckomon has finally down. The fallen ShogunGeckomon slowly shattered into millions of data. Al felt slightly relief from it but his focus were distracted and got hit by sound wave. Al got smacked to the water and the jets unleashed a huge amount of steam when it hits the water. Al intended to stand up but his stamina was drained because of the attack he did.

Al looked the result of his effort. The fallen Shogun has shattered half of its data and the other two were gathering around the fallen. Both of them start inhaling like they about to use their skills, but Al thought wrong because they intend to absorb the shattered data. 'Good, let them eat themselves.' Al thought while trying to stand again.

The absorption process only took a while for the ShogunGeckomons which gave Al a trouble since he can't stand up properly because of the heavy armor and loose stamina. Al starts to curse himself for wasting all of his stamina but he got no other choice. The ShogunGeckomon has finished their appetizer and ready for their main course. The ShogunGeckomons are moving towards Al. 'Damn... even I'm in altered form, I can still unable to defeat them. Where are you guys...?' ShogunGeckomons are couple of feet away from Al. They laughed evilly for Al's weakness. And to make matters worse, Al has De-evolved back to Agumon. 'I can't do this alone.'

"Guys, please HELP!"

That's it for this chapter. Sorry for another Cliffhanger part since I watched too many Cliffhanger filmed by Sylvester Stallone. Anyway I accept any critics or comments and thank you for those who help me.
