Linck sighed as he once again took a seat at a table in the corner of the cafeteria, sitting down to yet another lonely lunch. He looked around wistfully, his eyes wandering around the crowded lunch room. It never failed to amaze him how in such a crowded room he could feel so alone.

Oh, how he wished he could get up the courage to actually talk to someone! But, no. He had to be cursed with shyness...

Without a word, the little black wolf sat down to his usual peanut butter and jelly sandwich, his only company the general din of conversation around him. As his eyes made another sweep across the room, he spotted a pink hybrid squirrelfox sitting at a table with a few of his classmates.

The kit, Beau, had just recently moved into town, and had been in school for only a week. He had certainly looked almost as shy as Linck when the teacher introduced him. Of course, the little wolf had been too shy to even speak up with the customary "hello" that the whole class did in unison. Linck sighed again. I've been here for three years and I don't have a friend, he comes, and in a week he's surrounded by other furs...

Linck finished his sandwich in silence, and only reluctantly stood up as the bell rang indicating the end of lunch and the start of recess.

As usual, little Linck was the last one out, dragging his footpaws and looking longingly towards the playground equipment where everyfur was having fun. Well, everyfur except him...

The little wolf looked around for a moment. Just like every other day, no one seemed to notice him, not even the teacher or parents out on the yard keeping an eye on the cubs. He slowly snuck off into the woods behind the playground. The cubs weren't allowed to go there, of course, but Linck always did. No one ever noticed he was missing, and a couple of times he'd missed the end of recess and shown up late to class, but it was quiet and peaceful. It gave the wolf time to think...

Linck walked a little ways into the woods. He found his favorite oak tree, a large and probably very old one, and sat down between the roots. It made a perfect seat for the wolf, as though nature had intended that he sit there and made a special chair just for him.

He perked his ears for a moment, just to make sure he wasn't followed. The only sounds he picked up were the distant roar of cubs at play. It tugged on the wolf's heart. Oh, how he wished he could be among them, with a friend, having fun like a normal cub would...

With a tiny sigh, Linck let his eyes wander into the distance. His gaze became unfocused as his mind began to wander. He wondered what he might do with a friend if he had one - the games they might play, the things they might talk about, the usual routine. But this day would soon prove to be far from usual.

Linck picked up a rustling in the trees above him. His mind dismissed it as just the wind, or maybe a bird landing.

"Hiyas," came a voice from above.

Linck's eyes popped open, and he gasped, immediately looking to his left and right, his breathing suddenly hard, his heart beating in his throat. He heard a giggle, and looked up to see a pink face staring down at him.

The wolf froze as he stared up into the face of his classmate. His mouth moved, but the wolf couldn't make a word come out.

Beau clung to the tree serenely, smiling down at the wolf, waiting for him to speak. His large fluffy tail twitched a bit as he stared, his claws dug into the bark.

At last, Linck found his voice. "W-what are you doing here? We're not allowed... back here."

The little squirrelfox giggled. "So what're you doin' here, then?" he asked.

"I...I..." Linck said. He was at a loss for words. He blushed deeply under his fur, knowing that he was caught.

Beau climbed down nimbly and sat down on the ground across from the wolf. "I wun tell anyone we were here if ya dun want me to," he said. "Buh ya gotta do somefin for me, first!"

Linck tilted his head as he considered the offer. He certainly didn't want his secret blown... but what could this new fur want from him. "S...sure," Linck said slowly. "W...what do I... gotta do?"

Beau grinned and leaned in towards the wolf. "First, ya gotta tell me your name!" he said.

Linck blinked. "L... Linck," he said after a moment, not without an edge of hesitation.

Beau giggled softly. "That's a nice name," he said. "Why are ya here, insteada out on the playground with the other cubs?"

The wolf looked away embarrassedly. "I... I... don't have any friends..." he muttered.

"Whassat?" Beau said, leaning in so close the wolf could practically feel the hybrid's breath against his cheek. "Couldn't quite hear ya."

The wolf's face burned as the hybrid leaned in, and he shifted uncomfortably. "I... don't have... any friends..." he muttered.

"Don't have any friends?" Beau repeated. "Why not?"

Linck's mouth opened, and the word seemed to get caught in his throat before he sputtered, "Shy."

The pink hybrid looked at the wolf for a moment, then wrapped his arms around the other cub. Linck yelped in surprise at the embrace, never before knowing another cub to get so close to him.

"I'll be your friend," Beau whispered.

Linck froze as the words issued from Beau's mouth. He could hardly believe his ears! Did this cub really want to be his friend?

"W...what?" Linck said, wanting - no, NEEDING - confirmation of what the little hybrid just said.

Beau looked into Linck's eyes and said, "I'll be your friend."

Linck was dumbstruck. He fumbled for the words to express what he was feeling, his mouth opening and closing as he tried to process this unexpected declaration.

"B... but... you have so many other friends," Linck whispered. "You're surrounded by other furs at lunch... why would you want... me?"

Beau sighed. "The others are nice and all, but I dunno... I dun really like any of 'em," he said. "And you... well... you're... I don't know," Beau admitted. "I guess I was kinda drawn to you," he whispered. "I saw you lookin at me at lunch, and... you looked really lonely. Like how I felt when I got here..."

The little wolf considered this for a long moment. "O... ok," he whispered.

Beau giggled softly. "You stutter a lot, ya know?" he said playfully, hugging the wolf.

Linck meeped softly, his arms remaining limp at his sides. "J... just... not used to having... someone to talk to," he said as his arms found life and tentatively returned the hug.

The squirrelfox smiled and sat down next to the wolf, his arm wrapped around Linck's shoulders as he stared out into the forest. "It's really quiet out here," Beau whispered.

Linck nodded slowly. "Yeah... that's why I come out here... it's so much nicer than... out there," he said, motioning towards the playground with his head.

Beau nodded and shifted closer to the wolf. Linck shifted uncomfortably as the squirrelfox moved closer. It was such an odd feeling, having another fur so close, their bodies touching, feeling the body heat and even the breaths of this other fur. It caused a very weird tingly feeling in the wolf's chest, something he couldn't recall ever feeling before, and while he could not ascertain its source, he imagined that the cub next to him had something to do with it... and he didn't want it to stop.

As the cubs sat together, Linck noticed another feeling in his crotch. He blushed softly and tried to get up.

Beau tilted his head and held on to the wolf. "Where ya goin'?" he asked.

Linck blushed deeply and stared at his footpaws. "I... I gotta pee," he whispered.

The little squirrelfox giggled softly and smiled at the wolf, releasing him. "Well, pick a tree. Just not this one," he added hastily, sticking his tongue out a bit at the wolf.

Linck giggled shyly and nodded, padding over to a tree a few feet away and unzipping his shorts. The little wolf made sure that his back was to the squirrelfox as he pulled out his little willy and started to relieve himself against the side of the tree.

A few feet away, Beau watched intently, trying to stifle his giggles as he snuck around to watch his new friend relieving himself against the side of the tree. The squirrelfox noted two things: one, it made his own boyhood a bit stiff to see the wolf's, and two, he needed to pee, too!

As Linck finished and shook the last few drops from his tip, Beau got up and stood right next to the wolf, unzipping his own shorts and pulling his out. Beau smiled as he noted the wolf's deep blush, inwardly giggling as the wolf seemed to freeze at the sudden intrusion. He let out a soft murr as he added his own golden stream to the puddle of piddle left by the wolf.

The little squirrelfox finished peeing and shook the last few drops from his own member. He giggled softly as he noticed that Linck was shivering next to him, his limp boyhood still held in his paws, his eyes glued to the squirrelfox's crotch.

"Whatcha lookin' at there, Linck?" Beau asked casually.

"Uh, nothing," Linck stuttered, quickly putting his own boyhood back into his pants and zipping them up.

Beau giggled and did the same, and took the wolf's paw as they heard the sound of the bell that signaled the end of recess.

"Oop! Recess is over!" Beau said, and he pulled the little wolf behind him back to the playground. The two cubs managed to rejoin the crowd of cubs reentering the school without being noticed.

The rest of the day went by in a haze for the little wolf. It seemed so... unbelievable that he'd actually have a friend. He expected at any moment to wake up, or watch his teacher transform into a monster, anything to indicate that what had transpired in the woods during recess was nothing more than a fantasy, just a dream, an unreality.

The final bell came quicker that day than it ever had. The scraping of chairs against the tiled floor seemed strangely distant to the little wolf as he gathered up his books, knowing full well that he would once again be the last cub out of the classroom.

Linck kept his eyes on the ground, watching his footpaws as he followed the mass of students out of the building and to the parking lot out front. Some would get on a bus, some would be picked up by parents. Linck would walk home alone, as he always did. He lived close enough to the school that it wasn't a bother to walk, and it was good exercise, besides affording the little wolf more time to think, reflect, and clear his mind of the fantasy that was now eating up his insides.

He was half way out the door when his ears picked up the sound of his name being called. Linck looked around, confused, and squealed as he was grabbed from behind.

"There ya are!" came the familiar voice from Linck's fantasy. "I was lookin' for ya."

Linck turned around, and sure enough, standing there was Beau, the new student in his class. Linck blushed deeply. "Y... you were looking... for me?"

Beau giggled softly and nodded. "Yeah! I wanted to know if maybe you'd wanna come over to my house sometime. Or maybe I could go to yours, or somethin'."

Linck's jaw dropped. He stared incredulously at the beaming cub before him, unsure whether his mind was playing another trick on him. "Well.... I guess..." Linck muttered.

"Coolies!" Beau said. "Where do ya live?" he asked.

"Not far," Linck muttered. "Just down the road, really..."

"Wow! You, too?" Beau asked excitedly.

It was then that Linck realized that Beau must have lived near to him. His parents had mentioned that a new family had moved in right down the street. "Yeah," Linck said softly.

"Sweet! Lemme go ask my Daddy if you can come over," he said, running off into the crowd.

Linck remained firmly rooted to the ground, watching the pink squirrelfox until his vanished among the mass of furs before him. He remained where he was, scared that the cub might come looking for him... and even more scared that he might not.

A tense minute passed as Linck stood, staring into the crowd, looking for any signs of pink. Then he spotted him. The wolf watched as Beau returned, beaming from ear to ear.

"My Daddy said I could go over to your house, since you live near us," Beau said happily. "Our house is still a mess, since we're still unpacking and stuff."

Linck nodded slowly. "W... when would you wanna... come over?" he asked hesitantly.

"Whenever!" Beau said happily.

The wolf blushed deeply. "Well... my parents are gonna be gone all day... so... I guess it'd be ok... if you came over today..."

Beau squealed happily. "Sure! Let's go!" he said, gripping the wolf's paw tight in his own.

"O... ok," Linck said.

Once again, Linck found himself with that fluttery feeling in his chest. It was the most curious sensation, and the second time he had felt it! Surely this couldn't be a dream.

The little wolf's head was in a haze as he walked the familiar route back to his house. It was a straight walk down the road to his home, into a surprisingly quiet neighborhood. It seemed surreal. He was walking this familiar path with a very unfamiliar feeling - that of another cub's paw gripped tight in his own, and the sounds of said cub humming a happy tune as they returned to the wolf's home.

Linck walked up to his front door in a haze. He fumbled with the key in the lock, eliciting another giggle from his friend. Slowly, the wolf pushed the door open and walked inside, his other paw still gripping his friend's paw.

Beau smiled as he looked around. "Your house is nice," he said. "Where's your room?"

"R... right up here," Linck said, shutting the door and leading the squirrelfox upstairs.

The little squirrelfox grinned as the wolf lead him upstairs and into his room.

As they entered, Linck blushed deeply. Beau looked around curiously at the sparsely decorated room. He giggled as he looked at the few anime posters, and walked right up to the bed, sitting down and putting his bookbag on the floor.

Linck walked up to the squirrelfox slowly. "I... don't really have... a lot of stuff," he muttered.

"That's alright," Beau said, fumbling with his shirt collar. "Umm... mind if I take this off?"

Linck stared in disbelief and could only watch, stunned, as the cub peeled off his shirt and put it down on top of his backpack.

"Sorry," Beau said sheepishly. "I just... really don't like wearing clothes... you don't mind, do you?"

Linck stuttered, fumbling for words. "B... but... w... what if..."

Beau giggled and unbuttoned and unzipped his pants, sliding them right off, taking his red briefs with them, leaving himself naked on the wolf's bed. "You should get naked, too. It's fun!" he said, lying back on the wolf's bed and beckoning him over.

The wolf stood in the middle of his room, his arms clutching his shirt tight. "I... I..."

Beau smiled and stood up, walking right up to the wolf. "Want some help?" he asked.

Linck remained silent and immobile, blushing deeply under his fur. Beau smiled and unbuttoned the wolf's pants, then pulled down the zipper and pulled his pants and underwear down.

"Oh!" Beau said. He knelt down in front of the trembling wolf and examined his crotch, his eyes drawn to an orange puff of fur standing boldly out from the black of the rest of his fur. "It looks like a heart!" he said with a giggle.

Linck could only blush and nod. He let out a soft gasp as the squirrelfox nuzzled his crotch. He felt his sheath swelling and blushed deeply. "Beau... w... what are you..."

Beau eeped and stood up, blushing a bit himself. "Sorry," he said, giving the wolf a little hug. "It's just... it's so cute... that puff of orange fur..."

Linck blushed deeply and looked away. His face burned with embarrassment at the feeling of his nude classmate against himself. He barely registered the pair of paws pulling his shirt up. He gasped as the paws reached his armpits.

"C'mon," Beau whispered. "Almost there."

Reluctantly, the little wolf raised his arms, and Beau pulled his shirt right up and off, and resumed hugging the wolf. He backed up slowly and pulled the wolf down on top of him, snuggling up on his bed.

"Isn't this nice?" Beau whispered as he nuzzled the wolf's cheek.

Linck blushed deeply and slowly wrapped his arms around Beau. He held the squirrelfox tight to his chest and licked his nose, then nodded slowly. "Y... yeah," he whispered.

Beau grinned and kissed his friend's cheek. "I know a game we could play," he whispered. "If you're interested..."

Linck looked at Beau curiously. "O... ok. How... do you play?" he asked.

Beau smiled and crawled down, admiring the wolf's pure white chest and tummyfur as he got between his legs. "Just relax," Beau said, and he leaned down to once again nuzzle the wolf's crotch.

Linck gasped and squirmed as the hybrid rubbed his muzzle against the wolf's most sensitive spot. He shivered as the tip of his cock poked out of his sheath.

"W... what..."

Beau reached up and put a finger to the wolf's lips. "Shh. Don't speak," he whispered. "Jus relax. You'll like this," he said, and he leaned down and licked the wolf's tip.

A soft gasp escaped the wolf's lips as he felt his friend's tongue against his hardening member. Electric sparks travelled down his spine as an inch slipped out of his sheath and was instantly engulfed in the squirrelfox's hot muzzle.

Linck stared down at Beau as the wolf's member slid fully out of his sheath right into the other cub's muzzle. The feeling was divine as the cub suckled his cubhood, sending waves of deepest bliss through his body. He shut his eyes and moaned out softly, enjoying the pleasurable sensations.

He barely registered the squirrelfox's movement until he removed his muzzle from the wolf's cock, freeing it to the cool air. "Wanna play with mine while I play with yours?" Beau asked.

Linck's eyes snapped open, and he found himself staring at his friend's white crotchfur, his own member out of its sheath and seeming to stare right at the wolf, begging for attention. Without a word, Linck opened his mouth, and Beau lowered his crotch, bringing his member into the wolf's muzzle.

The little wolf tentatively touched his friend's member with his tongue as it was lowered into his muzzle. It was a curious sensation, and stirred up dull waves of pleasure from his own cock. Slowly, he closed his lips around his friend's stiffy and started to suckle, just as Beau had done to his.

Beau moaned softly as the wolf started to suckle his member, and the squirrelfox resumed his work, taking the wolf's cubhood back into his muzzle and suckled it softly. The two cubs remained like this for several minutes, suckling each other's cubhood's and writing in pleasure on the wolf's bed. Linck was shocked at how good it felt to be so close to another fur like this, exploring each others' bodies in the most intimate of ways. It filled him with a pleasure quite distinct from that radiating out from his groin.

The cubs started panting harder, moaning softly around each other's cocks. Linck let out a gasp as he felt his member dribbling something into his friend's mouth, and soon found a few droplets of a strange liquid on his own tongue. He noted with no small amount of shock that it tasted faintly of strawberry.

Linck shut his eyes tight as the pleasure intensified. He opened his muzzle as he felt a curious sensation in his cock, letting the squirrelfox's slip from his muzzle.

"B... Beau... I'm gonna... gonna...."

Linck never got to finish that sentence. He moaned out as his first orgasm washed over him, his cock twitching as it squirted a few shots of thin seed into the squirrelfox's muzzle. Beau swallowed his friend's offering greedily, mumbling around the wolf's cock as he did and trying to get his own member back into Linck's muzzle.

The wolf subconsciously took his friend's cubhood back into his muzzle and suckled it. A few short seconds later, Beau moaned out, squirting his own seed into the wolf's muzzle. Linck's eyes popped open as he tasted this. There was no mistaking it - whatever this strange liquid was, it tasted decidedly of strawberry.

Before Linck even registered it, Beau was back lying next to him, nuzzling the wolf's cheek and holding him close.

"Did you like that?" Beau whispered into Linck's ear.

The little wolf merely nodded, panting softly from the new experience.

The two cubs snuggled up close on the wolf's bed, and Linck felt happier than he could ever remember being. His chest felt light, and somehow, somewhere deep in his heart, Linck could tell: this was the start of a beautiful friendship.
