The Character's Relationship With Others

Reputation: Because he's a Fa'ar, many distrusts him and thought of him as a liar and cunning thief. His closest friends, especially Aranis, believes that he's a troubled innocent child.

Love Interest(s): Not Yet (May have one later)

Friend(s): Jek Barlow, Aranis Darion, Karkas Sobesk, Raine Winlow, Arachne the Spider Queen

Enemy(ies): Agents of Tomorrow, Vampire in the Mountain, slavers, Asran, the Scrounger

Relationship(s):

Jek Barlow - The closest he has for a family after his whole pack was killed. While they start terribly, with Jek trying to kill and torturing Narati after trying to steal his things, they slowly mend their relationship and become closer, and by time, Narati considers Jek his brotherly figure

Raine Winlow - The first character this the series to be genuinely kind to Narati, and the one sympathizing Narati's plight and suffering. He becomes Narati's other brother figure, though he considers Raine more as a friend than a brother.

Aranis Darion - A 500 years old wood elf who is tolerant to Chaos Races, she becomes Narati's mother figure and close friend, especially after Narati realizes that not all elves are bad. She is the one who make Narati's life better, and introduced him to better life quality, at least in the post-apocalyptic wasteland

Karkas Sobesk - Initially at odds due to Karkas's hatred to his race, they become fast friends after Karkas realizes his mistakes, and become Narati's guardian later in the story.

The Character's Abilities

Powers/Abilities: Narati is a junk rat, with natural ability in dismantling and sabotaging machineries. While he has no knowledge of magic, his ability to craft bombs is borderline superpower, as he can create one in seconds. He can also fashion unique, functioning weapons, and repair old weapons to functional status.

Later in the story, Narati is taught self-defense skills by an old master, and is able to use the lance he has been carrying throughout the story, later heavily modified to become as deadly as his explosives

Strengths: Narati's knowledge with his explosives make him able to control the explosions and ones he can use in close combat without harming him too much. His ability to repair and construct weapons is a skill needed in the group, making him a supportive role. He is also extremely agile due to his rodent physiology and a natural climber.

Weaknesses: As he uses many explosives, it is also dangerous to him and his allies. While he seldom hurts his friends with his bombs, he is always injured by his own creations, especially in close quarter combats, something he tries not to get involved too often. He is also small since he's a rat person, and a force that is normal for others can knock him out.

Despite of being able to use his lance later in the story, he is still not very good in strength, and relies too much to his inventions to the point of a fault. While he isn't surprised his creations will fail, he is always at risk of being killed when they fails.

Fighting Style: Lance and staff weapon combat (Later in the story)

The Character's Familial/Biographical Information

Birthplace:

Somewhere in the Wasteland

Family: Unnamed Father (Deceased)

Unnamed Mother (Deceased)

Pack Brothers and Sisters (Deceased)

Familial Background: Born and raised within a pack of Fa'ars, Narati was taught many ways to survive in the way of a typical Fa'ar, which were more akin to raiders and bounty hunters. Despite of being careful, his pack garnered so much hate from many towns that they band together to weed out his pack. After eluding and even tricking the attackers, the pack met their fate after a group of mercenaries caught them hiding in a cave, and massacre every last one of them except Narati, who escaped.

Character Background: Narati escaped his pack's massacre, alone, cold, and scared. He was 7 at that time and wore nothing except a loincloth wrapped around his essentials. Lost and alone in the wilderness, he travelled far and in a miserable state, as it was the first time he went out alone, which is very unusual for a Fa'ar. However, Narati soon found out that for him, survival was not a challenge, but a living. Due to being a child, he garnered sympathy in some free-towns, but others outright refused to help him on the ground that he's a Fa'ar, who could look older than he was.

Narati found out that he had a knack in tinkering and improvised engineering when he was able to play with an unexploded bomb, disarming it. When a group of raiders attempted to capture him and sell him to slavers, he activated the mine, killing most of them while he escaped in the confusion. He tried his best in using his father's lance, but he realized that his true skill came from creating explosives and improvise old technology for his own survival. He did this for another 6 years until he was almost killed by a mutant creature that almost took one of his eyes, leaving a deep scar down down his left eye. He would later claim that he was more scared to a creature than a humanoid since creatures worked with instinct, while humanoids felt fear.

His luck ran out one day when he was caught stealing in a free-town, causing him to be punished in the town square. He was whipped many times, leaving scars on his back. Despite his pleading, no one wanted to help a Fa'ar thief, as they were known. Fortunately for him, he was not immediately sold into slavery, but was kept in a prison cell, where he easily escaped by picking the lock and ran into the wasteland dead at night. His faith in people shattered, he vowed to never step foot in any towns, and this ordeal caused him to develop a darker second personality to mitigate his pain.

Despite of this, he traveled even more, and learning from his mistakes, managed to steal more efficiently and snuck back out undetected, until he met Jek, who caught him red-handed. Somehow, his second personality did not manifest due to the fact that Jek threatened to torture and kill him the way he did to his previous associate who betrayed him. On top of that, Jek shot a bullet near Narati, causing him to break down. Jek, sympathizing with how weak and cowardly the Fa'ar was, released him and took him under his care, and it became the start of an everlasting relationship.
