The Festival of Musk

Interlude

For EdgeofObsidian

By Draconicon

Abyss groaned as he felt consciousness beginning to return. The first thing that the hedgehog did was squeeze down, reassuring himself that the Bane was still in his trip. He felt the sharpened wood press against his palm, and felt a small surge of relief that shamed him to experience. The thought that he had gone through everything that he had only to lose what he'd fought to gain would have been more than humiliating. It would have been nearly shattering.

He opened his eyes, and blinked at the sight of the mist around him, surprised to see that something else had managed to creep up around him. The hedgehog growled under his breath, holding out his hand as lightning started to gather beneath his fingers. His palm lit up with green light, another reminder of the curse flowing through his veins, before he threw it out to banish the strange barrier.

As soon as the lightning hit the mist, it contracted. He gasped, then grunted as his body was squeezed in the strange stuff, his body getting pulled in on itself almost like someone was bending him in half and then sitting on him, compressing everything into something smaller and smaller. The more lightning that he released, the tighter the bindings got, until he could barely breathe.

He was just about to pass out when he gave up, groaning as the mist slowly pulled back from him once more.

So, whoever's power this is...it won't be broken by mine. Another person, too strong for me...

He knew that another person would have despaired at this. He raged. Growling under his breath, the great Abyss reached out and slammed his hand against the misty barrier, refusing to give in and bow to the power of some sorceress. For it had to be magic. Nothing else could affect the great Abyss this way.

Through the mist, he could just barely make out the details of the rest of the room. There were shelves along the wall, each one covered with small items that seemed to glimmer of their own accord. Magic items, he was sure, enchanted things that would be trouble to whoever owned them and whoever tried to take them. He sniffed in annoyance, shaking his head. They were useless to him. If he didn't require the Bane at this point, he would have thrown the wooden item into the shelves and left it with the rest of the trash.

But where am I? he wondered. What is this place?

As he mused, the air filled with a strange laughter. High, echoing, and dripping with contempt, it bounced around the walls but seemed to follow...

Pink?

He stared at the little puffball of pink light and swirling movement as he settled outside of the green misty barrier. It stopped, and then poofed into the form of a blue-robed rabbit, standing on glass high heels as she looked him over, her ears flopped over her face as she shook her head.

"Look at you, already trying to break free. Do you really think that you can get through a spell of my design?"

"Siren! You -"

"Do NOT think of me as one of them. Those little weaklings don't know anything about true power."

The rabbit shook her finger at him through the mist, meeting his glare with one of her own. There was so much force behind it that Abyss was momentarily lost for words. He could only stare as the rabbit started pacing back and forth in front of him.

"So, as I was saying. Do you really think you can get through a spell of my design? I have been working little prisons like this for most of my life. I know more magic than anybody else could possibly learn in a dozen lifetimes. If you value your own life, Abyss, and if you want to learn how to keep yourself free of the others...you will do as I say."

"I obey no-one. My power gives me the freedom to do as I will and act how I wish."

"Your power is useless against the Sirens, and you'll find it's even more useless against me. But go ahead. Try again. Strangle yourself in my magic, if you so desire."

It was a temptation to prove his power, but he remembered how the barrier had already almost killed him when he tried to escape it. The last thing he needed was to use up more of his power in a vain attempt to escape. Slowly, he shook his head.

"Now, that's a good boy. I may not approve of the Sirens, but I can tell when they've started training someone how to respond appropriately."

"I am not some trained mongrel! I am destruction incarnate!"

"You are going to be nothing but a footrest if you keep this up, boy."

"...I swear, I will make them pay for this humiliation..."

"Well, follow my orders, Abyss, and I might just make that possible for you. But let's have this conversation in a more comfortable location, shall we?"

She flicked her fingers, and suddenly the mist dispelled around him. Flipping about in midair to avoid the indignity of landing on his face, Abyss managed to land on his feet and conjure up a new set of clothing for himself at the same time. The electricity was still fading around him as he landed, admittedly, but he had his shirt, scarf, and pants back on. He wasn't going to face this creature without some power and dignity to him.

She wasn't impressed, and merely turned, leading him along. Despite his inclination to look down and stare at her clear shoes and soles as they left the room, Abyss forced himself to keep his eyes upwards. There was no reason to court temptation further than he had.

They walked up from the basement of the building to some sort of living room behind a storefront. The rabbit took the only chair, a throne of bones and skulls at the ends of the armrests, and she leaned back in it with one leg crossed over the other. The high heel she was wearing was slowly slipping off along the back of her foot, and Abyss found himself staring before he could catch himself.

He growled, having to reach up and grab his head to eventually make himself look away, but the damage was done. The rabbit smirked at him, leaning her chin on her fist as she looked him over.

"You really are a pathetic little thing. I'm surprised that the Sirens and their queen consider you worthy of the title of Herald, but with the curse on you, there's no mistake."

"It was their mistake to make. Their foul magic limits me, but I have the Bane. Their end is nigh."

"You believe that little trinket will save you from their power, little warlord? Don't make me laugh."

The rabbit flicked her finger, and the wooden stake leaped from his hands. He desperately grabbed for it, but she was too quick, floating it from one hand to the other with her pink magic, making it float about just out of reach for him and just past what he could grab at with his electrokinesis. He glared at her, fighting the urge to strike her down. She had information, though, that much was clear, and it was something that he might be able to make use of. Then he could come back here, after the Queen and her Sirens were dead, and do the deed that would remove her from the world.

So, instead, he forced his hands down at his sides, taking a few deep breaths. Magic turned to his purpose was no less vile than magic against him, but it had to be divided to handle. He had to be smart...he was better than them. So much better. He could handle them.

"The prophecy said that the Bane would kill them."

"Oh, once, it might have. But this? Noooo. This is so drained and wasted that it wouldn't kill one of the people attending the Festival, let alone them."

"How the hell could you know something like that?"

"I am a...professor of magic, if you want to call it that. I know everything that is worth knowing, and quite a few things that aren't."

"Fine...then how may it be restored?"

The sorceress chuckled at him, and gestured towards the space before her. The ground shifted with a mist that lay over it, and from it burst a footrest. She placed her feet on it, kicking off her heels as she rubbed her dirty, sweaty feet together. The fumes from them were already reaching him, making him throb in his pants as he growled against his own rising libido. She looked past her toes, meeting his eyes as her own started to glow green.

"If you want to know, then I demand a part of you in return."

He felt the curse mark on his neck suddenly flare into heat, fire burning through the green marks that had spread over his body. Abyss growled, fighting the urge to scream as the heat got higher and hotter, his hands bunching into fists at his sides as he impotently reached for his power -

Only to find that it was gone. Again. Despite the magic being different to a Siren, the pull of her power was no less debilitating to his own powers. He strained, managing a few sparks at the tips of his fingers, but the pathetic display didn't gain him a thing. He shuddered, his body drawn forward by one step, then another, shuddering as each movement pulled him closer to the strange woman.

The sorceress gestured at him again, the rabbit's power coursing through him. Mist popped up around him, pulling his clothes away as if they had disintegrated it without the slightest effort. He was almost used to that, his scarf pulled on like it was some sort of leash, dragging him ever forward until he was forced to his knees in front of the foot rest. His head was almost ground against her soles, the sweat along the underside shoved into his face and under his nose. Each breath was like breathing in literal foulness, his mind awash with her scent and her power and her sheer...strength.

I can't...I can't hold back...

His body was too cursed to resist the power of those feet, and even as he railed against it in his head, his tongue flicked out and started dragging across the underside. It was no longer pure hatred, but conflict. He hated the taste, but he loved it at the same time. He was in agony as the scent filled his mind, but his cock throbbed and bounced, and his thoughts were slowly fading away the longer that he breathed it in. The sheer musk of the soles was something that should have had him retching and gasping for breath, but instead, he pushed himself in further.

The curse, the corruption, was hitting him harder than ever, and he could feel the power of those green marks spreading further and further across his body.

"AH!"

He gasped, his eyes going wide as the foul magic of the witch reached out, green clouds of mist surrounding his nipples and his cock. They swirled, pulling, rubbing, squeezing at him, making him gasp and shudder as she worked him over. The rabbit grinned at him, her smirk a punishment as harsh as her feet as she pushed him to do more.

"Worship me, Herald. Worship me harder and louder than anything that you've done for the Sirens."

He found himself wanting to, even through his hate for her, and even through the distaste for everything that he had done so far. His tongue ached to press against her feet, even though he wanted nothing more than to burn her to the ground and stomp through her ashes. He even thought that that would be more fun than what he was doing, but the thought of burning her now...the thought of wasting these perfectly foul feet...

This isn't me! This is the curse!

His protests rang on an empty mind as he leaned in, even moaning as he dragged his tongue between her toes. He felt himself dragging his tongue between each one, leaning forward to suck loudly and lewdly along her toes. Little strings of spit connected his lips with her little toes, and she smiled down at him...but not entirely contentedly.

He knew that he needed more, or she wouldn't help him. Hoping that he could regain some dignity, sometime, he opened his mouth, forcing the words out. At least, he told himself he was forcing the words out.

"Your feet...are so big...and so foul....and so sweaty...they are...just what...I need..."

He growled under his breath as he said such things, but they were still there, still said. They echoed around him as a reminder of his humiliation and what he was putting himself through, but the sorceress almost seemed appeased. Almost. He tried to think of something else to say, some other way to keep her happy, but she stopped him. She held him back with a foot against his face, shaking her head.

"Much as I wish I could claim you, the Queen's power already runs too deep. Your fascination with my feet is only a mirror of what you wish to do with hers. I will not take the devotion that you have for someone else, not when I should be claiming you for mine as is proper."

"Ugh...you...witch..."

"That is what I do, though I am a sorceress, rather than a witch."

She rubbed her feet together, the motion too much for him to just ignore. She started talking about something else, about what he needed to do for the Bane to function again, something about a church and the light that was buried deep within. It was something important, and he knew that, but his eyes could not look away from her feet, no matter how hard he tried to pull them away. The scrunching motions of her toes, the wrinkles that popped up along the arches of her feet, the long, slender shape to them that none of the other girls had had was something that just...enchanted him.

"Do you hear me at all, Herald? Get to your task."

He snapped out of it as she forced her magic around him again, sending him flying from the room. Somehow, the sound of laughter followed him, and he had no idea what it meant, only that it felt ominous in the worst of ways.

#

Crack!

He hit the ground outside the building with a thunderous strike, panting and shaking as he forced his power together. There was little of it left, particularly after that sort of worship and debasement, and Abyss scowled and growled, throwing his fist against the side of the building nearest him and leaving a crack that would take forever to be repaired.

"Foul magic! Fouler temptress!"

He railed at the unfairness of the magic against his powers, how this was not how it was supposed to work. He was Abyss, he was the destroyer, he was the one that was supposed to be taking lives and making misery spread throughout the populace. This was not how his night was supposed to be going. He was supposed to have killed Sonic by now, not been nearly enslaved by three different women. It was not...not right in the slightest.

"No...no...have to focus before I lose everything."

There was a church he was supposed to go to. Some church, where the Bane could be recharged. That was what the sorceress had been saying, and as foul as her feet had been, he wasn't going to waste the effort that he had spent getting the information in the first place by forgetting all that she'd told him.

There was only one church in the city that he knew about, and it was quite nearby. He flashed again, into the air and then down, landing in front of the door. He kicked it in, and started exploring, looking for some room or passage that would lead him to this 'light.'

It was a frustrating search. Not only was the church old, but there were no lights inside to give him any illumination or chance to see where he was going. The hedgehog trekked around the rooms, ignoring the way that the silent church would occasionally echo with the laughter of women. They were not here, he knew that much. The Sirens always projected some sort of red light that would precede their arrival. He remembered that much from the previous encounters, so he needn't fear that.

No, it was just...frustrating. There were no signs of a light, no sign of anything but the altar at the head of the chapel, and a few side shrines to the saints of other parts of the religion. Abyss growled to himself, swinging around and staring at the rest of the chapel. There had to be something, but no. The only thing that he could see was the moonlight, striking down on the altar like a bolt of lightning.

"There is no light here...this is a wild goose chase!"

With a growl of sheer fury, Abyss whirled around and kicked the altar with all the power that he had left to him. The force of the blow split the great block of stone down the middle, and to his surprise, there was a set of stairs that led out from underneath it. Something that had been hidden, doubtlessly for years.

This is the way, he realized, and he pushed the wreckage out of the way before heading downstairs. The feeling of having some hope was coming back to him. The thought that he might soon have a weapon to defeat the Sirens and their leader made him feel like the night might not have been such a waste after all.

He followed the stairs down into the belly of the church, and then further down still. It was like everything worthwhile had already been buried a hundred years ago, and he had to hunt it all down again if he wanted to have a chance against the creatures of the night. He followed the stairs further and further down, the air turning stale and musky, almost like he was going into a crypt.

He really hoped that wasn't the case. With all the magic in the area, he didn't want to think about the dead rising and having to deal with them, too, or what it might be like if he had to start staring at...

No, he wasn't going to think of that. Not now, not later, not at all.

The stairs led him to a thin tunnel, and the tunnel led him to a chamber that seemed to be holy in design. It was an octagon in shape, with flat walls on all sides that surrounded a font of water and light. A beam of gentle warmth and illumination came down from the ceiling, making the water sparkle beneath it, and he looked down at the Bane in his hand. It seemed about the right size...and if it soaked up light to deal with the semi-vampires that he had to fight, then that made sense in some way.

He walked up and deposited the wooden weapon into the font, and immediately had to withdraw, curling his hand about itself to protect himself from the pain. The sudden strike of the light had been like a fire burning along his flesh, making him wince and shudder from the strange pain. He'd always been sensitive to light, with his own darkness, but this...

It's more than just my nature. It's the curse! Abyss realized. The curse is making me like them.

The thought was more horrifying than anything that he wanted to think about. It was bad enough that they were overwhelming him, cancelling out his power and making it so that he had to obey them. If he became like them, nothing more than a beast of the night, nothing more than some slave to darkness that could never leave it, then he would be lost forever.

I'll stab myself with the Bane before I allow anyone and anything that sort of power over me. Abyss will be the destruction of all, not the slave to those that would use him.

He had to wait, though. If he didn't have the power when he struck down the Queen and her servants, they would bring him down, and that meant...patience.

He sat down to wait, not wanting to leave the place in case someone decided to mess with him further. The hedgehog folded his legs over his lap, glad that he at least didn't have a fascination with his own soles, and closed his eyes. His power was waning, and he needed to focus it if he wanted to fight properly.

The sound of footsteps behind him, however, put paid to the idea of meditating until the Bane was complete. He turned his head at the sound of voices following the steps, and moved out of the center of the room, hoping to ambush whoever was coming down before they could do anything against him. Waiting at the edge of the doorway, he prepared to pounce.

Four girls stepped through, or rather, four women. Each one was dressed in the strange belly-dancing garb of the festival, and each one was barefoot. The smell of sweaty female feet filled the room in record time, and he found himself shuddering, sliding back and forth between one foot and the other, and he lost his advantage as they turned.

"Oh, here he is. The little herald, the little foot boy. He's needing to be reminded of his place, I can tell."

The panda Mobian smiled at him, and yanked him off of his feet. Before he could fight back, the four pairs of feet around him got to work, from slender pairs to thick ones to giant, huge ones that could smother his face without him even moving around. One big panda foot covered his face, forcing him to breathe in the sweaty fumes that came off of it, while others were rubbing along down his body, toes pinching at his nipples and rubbing at a bulge that soon became bare as his clothes seemed to fade.

Desperately, he reached out for his power, trying to summon the lightning to strike down at them, but the power was fading away even as he reached for it. The lightning, the electricity, the sheer power that he had wielded again and again against his foes, was gone.

How? Why?!

The girls laughed as they stomped on him, either grinding down on his chest or really stepping on him. He could feel the dampness of their soles getting smeared along his body, making it impossible to get away from the smell, the stench, the sheer power of those scented soles. Everything pressed down on him, reminding him of just how far he'd fallen in these last few hours, reminding him of everything that he had lost in comparison to how much he had had.

The foul magic kept him from striking back, leaving him helpless as nothing but a toy for the girls, nothing but a foot rest, a foot mat, a foot toy for them to play with. His cock was kicked back and forth between their feet, nudged from one side to the other, and some were poking at his nipples with toe claws and with their toes in general, making them harder, making them stand up like perverted little hills along his chest.

"Hehehe, look at him. He's such a little weakling."

"Yeah, the Queen's turned the warrior into a little foot licker."

"And a toe sucker. Let me show you."

The panda shoved her toe into his mouth, and he was helpless to do anything but start sucking on it as she desired. She started fucking his face with it, pulling her foot back and forth, her toe pushing in and out of his mouth with a consistant, rough, regular rhythm, making it impossible not to focus on it.

The stink of sweat was rubbed into his face by the bat feet, panda feet, raccoon feet, and gator feet, all of them damp and musky as all hell. He shuddered as his cock throbbed unwillingly between his legs, begging and dreading the fact that they were slowly reaching down towards it, their toes nudging it more firmly.

"Mmmph. I wanna make him cum. I want to see that thing splatter all over the place and make him know he's just a foot boy."

"Heh, we could, but the Queen wants him. All we can do is keep teasing him."

"But he's so cute. He's not even that scary when we got him down like this."

His cheeks burned hotter and hotter as they tormented him, his image of himself taking a worse beating than ever. He tried to open his mouth to protest, but two more sweaty toes pinned his tongue in place, forcing him to use it as a mat to lick their feet clean.

He strained to use his lightning against them, but even that was out of his reach now. There was nothing left of his old power, all of it kept compacted behind some sort of barrier that was out of his control. There was no way that he could escape the way that he'd done before, even as they ramped up the humiliation.

Foul...horrible...evil magic. There is nothing...nothing that will...survive my...wrath...

He tried to think through it, tried to hold onto his anger, but there was nothing left. All he could feel, all he could focus on, were the sweaty, musky feet that were pressing in on him from all sides, and the scents that they left on him.

His cock was pinned between three different feet, smooth scales grinding down on the head while a furred pair and a wide, flat one was pressed against the sides, squishing his cock and rubbing it all around. Against his will, he was thrusting up against them, panting and shivering as he squirmed on holy ground. His body was aching, begging for climax, but he couldn't give in. Couldn't...couldn't give in, not that easily, not here, not now, not when he was so close.

"Hehehe, I wonder how long he can take it if we give him something he actually wants."

No, no, don't make it harder! I don't -

The panda and the raccoon pulled their feet away from his cock, but what replaced them was beyond anything that he had expected or thought of. They turned back, almost squatting down as they danced and shimmied around, their asses rubbing against the sides of his cock, trapping it between them. He stared with eyes wide, feeling his cock getting harder and harder, throbbing and drooling with pre between the pairs of ass cheeks.

He groaned, throwing his head back, desperately trying to forget about where he was, what was happening, how he had been trapped here. The lewd women had trapped him between them, leaving him helpless against their wiles and their powers. All he could do was lay there and 'enjoy' the things that they were doing to him, despite how wrong it was. His cock throbbed, begging for release, but he held on as long as he could.

One of them shifted their feet from his face to his throat, holding him down and squeezing hard enough to make it nearly impossible to breathe. He gasped and gagged constantly, trying to get enough air in, barely getting enough to stay conscious. The girls laughed at his weakness, their bodies shaking and shimmying all over the place, showing off their curves, fanning their scent at him, and making it impossible to think of anything but the sexual allure that they presented.

On and on his torture went, until they finally pulled back when his resistance was almost overwhelmed. They walked away on bare feet, his eyes unable to look away from them, his mouth forever tainted with the taste of sweaty feet as they moved off from their victim. He slowly lifted his head, managing to cry out.

"How did you find me?! What gave me away?"

They didn't answer. All they did was smirk and giggle as they left him in the basement of the church.

He slowly turned, looking at the basin and the Bane within it. It glowed with a red light, covered with the deadly power that he would need to end the Sirens and their mistress. This would be the downfall of the vampiric creatures, and they had not ended him while they could. They would regret this. He crawled towards the font, his arms weak and shaky, but still able to pull him forward.

His eyes were so focused on the font and the Bane that they missed the skulls that littered the ground, so like the skulls of the sorceress's house.

Paige, the Queen of the Vampyres, sat on her throne in the Cathedral on the other side of the town. They watched the display of the Herald getting tormented, enjoying the sight of his suffering and the slow spread of the curse. Her Sirens, Rogue and Fiona, were both giggling to the sight, though the vixen was more vindictive.

"He should have that thing locked up, at this point. He's getting so out of control that I imagine he's going to be spray-painting out feet white by the time that we're done. The little foot boy is going to be nothing but our toy."

"Indeed, Fiona, but that cock needs to be put to use properly," Paige said with a small chuckle. "He's led by it, and we will continue to use it as his leash."

Rouge nodded.

"I think that he'll be a fine little toy. Sugar boys like him just need the right pokes and prods to get on the right path."

"He's just a weakling. I'm not sure that we even need him to do what we need to do."

"I would suggest that my Siren not let that thought get too out of hand in her head."

The vixen silenced herself at the queen's words, and Paige looked back to the display. He was picking up the Bane, but it was too late for him. The sorceress had already marked, enhanced the curse, and made it far stronger than it once was. The nullification of the hedgehog's power would only be undone when she triggered the rest of the power in the mark itself, and then, it would be too late for this Abyss to challenge her directly.

"Heh, should I go get him, your Majesty?"

Fiona's request had been repeated many times that night, and Paige slowly turned to her servant, the bat shaking her head. It was not appropriate, and she allowed Rouge to answer for her.

"Timing is everything, sugar. The whole thing won't work if we just pull him here. We need him to know his utter lowliness before we take him for our own."

"Ah."

She had to correct that, the bat turning to her other Siren.

"For my own, Rouge. He is mine."

"Forgiveness, your Majesty."

"Granted."

She sighed with a small smile, looking back at the hedgehog. Yes, he was a troublemaker, but he would make a fine husband, once he was broken. He would serve at her feet, and love it, knowing that he was less than her, and at her command. He would break the enemies of the Vampyres, and make sure that she and her people would rise to the place that they deserved.

The Bane might have handled us, once, but even powered up, there is no way that it is a match for the powers that we now wield.

With a smile, she reached out to his mind, touching it with a bit of her telepathic ability. She felt him freeze in place as she touched his mind, chuckling to herself as she started working herself into his head.

"Abyss...No, my love...The time has come. I see that you have the bane, and you wish to strike us down. Can't you see? All I want is the best for you. Your body and desire calls out to me. I can grant you the power to destroy all...All I ask is that you share your desire with me. Let us embrace...At the cathedral."

She felt his shock and his anger as soon as she touched his mind, and chuckled as she withdrew. He would be coming to her, alright. He would come and he would submit, and then, only then, would he be allowed to cum for her as well. The power released with that pent-up need would be enough to empower her to demi-god status, giving her the strength to lead her people to their destiny.

The bat stood up, leaving her Sirens to their work of summoning the rest of the women to the Cathedral. The whole flock would need to see this, to view the submission of their new King to their Queen.

Come to me, Abyss. Come to me, and let me see just how much you have fallen, and just how much you need me now.

She could already feel herself dripping in anticipation. The sorceress had done her work - admittedly almost by betraying her, by trying to claim that which belonged to the queen - and Edge would be weakened to the point of being unable to resist. Even though his power was considerably less useful against her and the Sirens, it could affect them if he had any focus left. If he had been thinking clearly at any point, he might have found a way to fight back. It was part of the reason she wanted him, because he was so very effective.

But now...

Now, he was so lost to his foot lust that they'd given him that she was sure that he had nothing left. He would be nothing but a puppet for them to play with, nothing but a toy for her bed, nothing but a weapon for them to use against the world out there. Come morning, she would have him. Forever.

Come to me...and be my slave King.

The End
