Morning came again to the forest as Tenebrea woke up and then grogily got up and looked out the window. He saw that the forest was no longer covered in snow the green grass returned and the animals and deer roaming around. He almost thought of last nights events to be a dream. He went to the bathroom to wash up for the day. He walked over the house still as is as he noticed talking downstairs that his parents were up already. He got to the bathroom and saw himself in the mirror.

"I guess it wasn't a dream last night."

He said to himself as he saw his reflection and a green sprite was on his right ear and a blue sprite were on his left ear glowing lightly. He stared for a bit longer till his attention was called back.

"Tenebrea its time for breakfast. Cant sleep the whole day away. Added warning Tenebrea if you don't get down in the next 5 minutes I'm putting ice in your bed again."

His mother said to Tenebrea which made him shiver and jump as he then went to washing his face in the sink and going to the bathroom as he then got dressed as he got down in two minutes.

"I'm here mom no need to break out the ice.....again."

Tenebrea shivered as he thought of that as he then sat down as breakfast was on the table. His grogginess replaced with alertness as his stomach growled a bit. He savored the smell of eggs found in the forest along some nice stewed meat and juice from the berries in the forest. Tenebrea ate his share murring happily as his tail wagged as he enjoyed his meal.

"Got quite an appetite always huh pup"

His dad said but not losing to his son as Tenebrea dad devoured his share faster then Tenebrea.

"The food isnt going to run away. Though in all honesty with how you both eat I wouldn't blame the food for trying."

Tenebreas mom giggled and ate her portion at a slower pace compared to the other two male wolves that devoured their food in the blink of an eye.

"Thats cause its so good mom. Its so good I cant help myself"

"I agree with the pup hon. Its just really good. The king would even try to get you to cook for him"

Tenebrea smiled as his father patted his belly. Tenebrea just smiled as he saw his mom blush and smile watching that tail wag behind her.

"Well you both got good taste."

His mother said calmly but Tenebrea could tell his mother was happy at that.

After breakfast the mood turned a bit serious as both his parents asked him to go to the living room for a talk. Its the place where everyone goes to unwind and his dad tells him stories along with his mother. The room had two large chairs and a rug in the middle of the room. There was a bookcase that had normal books and a few magic tomes. Tenebrea went to sit and relax on the rug as it was his usual spot. He then noticed his parents staying up and looking at him. He noticed they were looking at him and the two sprites on his ears.

"Tenebrea this isnt going to be easy but your mother and I talked and we both think that it would be best if you were to go to a school now to learn more on magic and more on the sprites you have now."

What his father said had him dumbfounded as he looked at them both confused and a bit frightened on leaving his home. He wanted to say something but before he could his mother continued from there.

"We both love you so much Tenebrea. We don't want you to leave either. I would rather take my chances with you staying here but as a mage myself I know the dangers of having power and not being able to control it. I cant teach you anything about sprites Tenebrea."

His mother told him as he couldn't say anything else about it as his mother just picked him up and held him close for a hug as he could feel her shaking as he hugged his mother tightly. His father joined in the hug as his father held both him and his mother.

"I know it will be hard Tenebrea but you have to be a good pup over there and learn how to handle and understand your talent. You will be living at the new school and this will teach you a bit about the city and the world."

His father added as he still felt scared to leave his mom that he knew all his life. It was then that his father broke the hug and his mother set him down as he looked at the both of them.

"We will be sending you off to school today. I know its a rush but its better to take care of it quickly then wait. Also your mother wouldnt let you go if we wait."

"Which is true and don't forget that."

Tenebreas mom answered to his father as he giggled at them both. He felt confused still but a lot better now. His parents showed him a large backpack that looked to have everything he needed from a spare change of clothes. A few of his books to read on stories. There was even a bag for money so he would be able to buy stuff for himself if he wanted. He was about to carry the large bag over his shoulder holding the string. His parents motioned him for him to get closer.

"We wanted to give you these when you get older Tenebrea but now is a good as time as any. We want you to have these so you can take care of yourself also your mother would be dead worried if we didn't give you stuff to protect your- Ouch"

His mother stepped on his fathers foot as he pulled it away as his father whined and his mother had this smile on her face.

"We want you to be safe. I want you to have this robe and tome. This robe I used on my adventuring days. I remade and re-enchanted it so that you could use it."

The robe my mother handed me was what looked to be a mages robe but it had a hood that was white colored that traveled down to the shoulders and stopped there. Down from there it looked like a robe that would make it all the way to his knees. The robe was a dark blue color as the edges were embroidered and had a light sky blue color. The waist had a white sash around it that what he usually wore. He saw he could wear his pants with it and it would be good to go. He didn't wast much time as he puts it on and saw how well it fit him as he pulled down the hood. His hands outside the sleeves of the robe enough to give his hands and a bit of his arm freedom. He went to give his mother a hug as his mom gave him also a small bag that he could hold on his shoulder. His mom helped him get a leather strap on him so his new tome could stay on the left side of his waist.

"That tome helped me with casting magic and I hope it helps you learn and grow. Its a little magical item to help you store magic to cast spells. You will learn more on objects to help you cast spells at school Tenebrea."

His mother said although he could hear the cracking of her voice and saw the teary eyes a bit. His father stood closer as he then showed him two things he was recieving.

"I want you to protect yourself to Tenebrea but also protect others when you can. I used swords and bows like these to protect your mother and friends I made back in the day. I want you to use these to keep yourself safe and make sure to watch out for others."

My father handed me a short sword that was a perfect size for me to use. It looked to be new as it was probably purchased recently. The hunting bow he got also looked to be new but it looked to have been made as it had a wolf symbol on the handle. He giggled as his father smiled.

"Bought the sword a while back but I made that sword so you could practice more with me son and have your own bow instead of using and practicing with mine all the time."

He looked at the sword as his father gave him. He unsheathed it from its scabbard and took a few practice swings as it was heavy but not to heavy that he couldnt use it for long. He sheathed the blade back and then placed it on his back. He saw the bow. He smiles at the work and he tested the strings and shot a few arrows getting the feel for it. His tail wagging so much from the gifts he recieved from his parents.

"This is so cool!"

He thought in his head as his tail wagged as he strapped them to his back along with the sword.

His head was ruffled as he was given a hug one more time by both his parents. They all headed out the house and started to make their way to a nearby village to get a carriage to head to the city. His mother explained a few of the enchantments on the robes he was wearing. He was told it had the function of repairing itself when its supplied with mana. Its other affect as it would be able to be as strong as leather even though its simple cloth. He smiled as he had things he would think of his parents as he was at his new school. He then looked at his parents.

"What school will I be going to. Is it a magic school like mom went to when she was young?"

He asked in question as his mother shook her head as the walk continued making it to the village pretty quickly passing through most of the trees and past some rivers till reaching what looks to be a village. He saw some other furs going by as he hasnt seen much before. His eyes were wide eyed as he stared at everyone and everything taking in the new sights. He then heard a loud voice call out towards him and his parents that made him turn his head.

"Angela, Rinvo you both still kicking I see! Who is the pup with you guys anyway?"

He saw he was talking and it was a large bear laughing and making the way towards him and his parents. The large bear man reaching about seven feet tall easy as his head just stared upwards as he couldnt find the words at the moment. His parents knew the bear man that stood their close by.

"Breyton. Good to see your still as big as ever maybe even a little bit bigger since the last time we saw you. Hope the missus is doing fine back at the farm. "

His father answered the big bear man which's name was Breyton as he looked at his father as the bear placed an arm around his fathers head pulling his father close for a hug as he wondered if his father was alright with the bear looking like he was built like a brick house.

"Boys no rough housing we have places to go. Breyton its great to see you. Good to see things are going ok in this village. We are going to get a carriage and then head out to the Capital to get Tenebrea enrolled in a special magic school to train for a few years."

His mother explained as he looked at Breyton letting go of his father not before giving him a large pat on the back as he heard it a bit and his dad give a punch back to the bear as he wondred if that was alright.

"Ah you all heading to Solan Kingdom then. Good thing you three took a stop here in Rachdale village. You can get a carriage here easy and its a straight shot to the Capital in no time. I'll help you all out so you guys can get going its going to be a long one"

Breyton chuckled a bit and started to head out near a place with horses as he saw carriages. His parents followed along with him. He saw his dad find a carriage that was a nice size with two horses to pull for the journey. His father paid the fox tending the carriage and even got a coachman that was another fox to help with the travel. The journey was a calm one as the ride to the Capital took a couple of hours. It was close to midday now that they started to reach the Capital. The coachman saying that we reached the Solan Kingdom.

He sticked his head out the window as he saw the stone houses and stone archways that made up the city. It was large. The Capital was a large place. He saw lots of furs that he hasnt seen but heard of from his parents seeing them for the first time. He saw other kids as his tail wagged as he got excited. He saw stores and saw shops for clothes to weapons to food and sweets. He was pulled back inside the carriage by his dad as he rubbed the back of his neck blushing as he got excited looking like he was gonna fall out.

All of them got out of the carriage as they reached a stopping point. His father talking about to the fox as he then lets down his hood as he wanted a better look his sprites on his ears showing and glowing slightly. The fox had a look of surprise when he saw the sprites on his head but then went back to talking to his father about the return trip in a bit. He paid it no mind as the sprites on his head floated a bit up and then circled as they glowed showing their excitement of the new place. His parents caught his attention as the green and blue glows followed him and then rested on his ears again. He walked with his parents what took a long while till they reached what looked to be a very large house like building. The building was big and tall and there were other smaller buildings around it. It had a large courtyard and back place that looked like for exercize and looked to be near a forest as well. He saw that there was a large sign on the gates of this place.

"Welnore, Academy for Sprite masters."

He said outloud as he read the name of the place he will be at.

"Is this the school I will be staying at?"

"Yes though it might not be as big as other magical schools. Its the best one here for you Tenebrea. I want you to study hard and show them how its done."

His mother said with a smile as his mother didn't talk about her school experience but it looks like it was an interesting one. He then walked with his parents in to the courtyard as they made their way inside the school. He saw there were classes and students some older and some about the same age as him. Some looked a bit well off while others didnt look like they had the best of things. His curiousity was peaked as he saw some magic abilities and practice fights happening outside. His parents lead him to inside till one of the teachers saw my parents and came to help. The teacher had a lot of sprites above his head that danced around. The new person he saw looked to be a ferret wearing coat and glasses. The ferret noticed the two sprites on his ears and his eyes went wide eyed as the glasses threatened to fall.

"We want to enroll our son in to the academy. We would like to speak with the principal if it would be alright."

"Certainly."

The ferret man replied to my father as he lead us to a double doorred room. My parents knocked on the door as a voice told us to enter and the ferrtet with glasses left to go back to the other students. I went with inside the room with my parents. Inside the room was a bit larger then a living room in our house. Inside was a large table with books and papers. There were cabinets filled with vials and other objects. There were bookcases filled with tomes and books. There were paintings but the one thing that caught his eye was not the male Skunk sitting at the desk wearing what looked to be dark blue robes embroidered with a light white markings. It was the amount of sprites in the room. It looked to be filled to the brim with lights inside the room at everywhere you look could be one. There could have been a hundred sprites in the room alone. The Skunk looked up and smiled.

"Welcome please forgive the room a bit. My name is Genis Sage. I am the principal of this academy. Is there something you need?"

He saw the skunk named Genis talk as he looked at the principal his attenion mostly in awe as he saw all the sprites. His sprites seemed curious at the amount around but flew around with ease around the room looking about and talking with the other sprites. He could hear most of the conversation but the other sprites he saw voices sounded garbled for cause there were so many. He saw that every sprite inside had different colors and shade and sizes as it was all interesting and exciting.

"Our son found some sprites and they started to follow him. He said they made a contract and now the sprites are following him. I talked to my wife and this was a way that sprite masters did things so we brought him to here to learn how can do more with his talent."

His father said which pulled his attention back. He looked at his father and his principal seeing the principal in deep thought. Genus exhaled and looked at them both and then looked at him.

"Normally I would welcome such great talent but I must warn you about this school but most likely you all already know. This is a sprite master school to teach the ones with talens on how to use and control sprites. In the world at the moment sprite masters are at the bottom of the barrel when it comes to jobs and power. By the looks of your boy it would seem that he can handle a bow and sword and even other magic."

He saw Genus explain as it looked like Genus had said the same thing multiple times as he saw the principal look at my parents as he fidgets a bit feeling a bit uneasy now about being there.

"This might seem a bit unfair to our son. It might have been easier letting him go to mage academy or even knight or adventurer school but he had a talent that we didnt expect and we always believed that if there is something you can do that others cant do. Never be afraid to explore and do what you can."

His mother said as she explained as he felt a bit proud as he couldnt help but smile. Genus smiled a bit happy with the respone. He then lined a bit of paperwork down as he wrote down basic information down like species and gender and where he will be placed. They gave more information like age and how many sprites and even gave his name and last name.

"Alright everything worked out. I hope you learn lots from your time here Tenebrea Centurion."

"Thank you principal I hope you treat me well."

He said out loud as he reached out and shook the Genus's paw. His sprites then flew back and stayed on his ears as the principal raised an eyebrow to that but didnt mind it. He smiles as he was a bit excited at the new people to meet and the new things to learn and see.
