WARNING: This fic involves F/Solo, robots modeled after pokemon, painplay, and robotic dismemberment.

After being all but thrown away, a defective model of lucario doll goes looking for new parts to fix herself. Though perhaps she's not defective in the way she once thought.

A commission for Technophile34 Requested word count was up to 3k, actual wordcount is 3004. This was a bit of a tough one to write, as I've not ever written about pain-focused fetishes before, so I hope I got it right. Human technology was simply amazing: what people thought to be naught but witchcraft at best and impossibility at worst centuries ago was nothing more than mundane nowadays. Healthcare had advanced by leaps and bounds. Information was readily distributed to even the poorest of citizens, enhancing their knowledge and connecting them all across the globe. Machines were refined to not only perform better, but to think. To feel. To be almost human. They'd created robots who were more than robots, automatons who could reason as well as any person and served as a pinnacle of engineering. That was what Asle was, a top of the line robot. Which was why, of course, she was pulling herself out of the scrap bin.

The tiny lucario-bot didn't need to breathe, but she still found herself panting as she reached the top of the bin filled with similar bite-sized models of defect robot dolls who hadn't the sense to switch themselves back on when no one was looking. Perhaps it was just the way Asle was built, but when she reached the edge she found herself toppling over with a tiny squeak, hitting the floor a few feet below-to her, innumerable stories-with an ignoble thud. She pulled herself to her feet and rubbed her furry rear, regretting not setting her pain receptors off as she looked over the rest of the robot dolls in the bin.

Rejects. All of them. Each doll was no taller than a can of soda and came in so many shapes to make them as unique as humans, yet each one was made for a specific purpose. A purpose they failed at, apparently; otherwise they wouldn't have been returned and sent back to this warehouse. And Asle was one of them; the perfectly advertised model. "'The A5-LE model, a preorder bonus, is the ultimate assistant!'" she muttered, recalling the quote form the box she came in. "Completely compatible with your game system, this doll will greet you with a friendly smile, help you with your schedule, and make searching the net a breeze! But God forbid if she doesn't cum in two seconds when you plug her into your PC..."

Asle squatted down, turning her gaze between her legs. Nothing more than a crude slit that served mostly as a micro-USB port-the more 'authentic' designs were a feature of the expensive models-but it was still her sex. Her body. The lucario doll reached down tentatively with a paw, feeling at it. Her fingers poked and prodded, gliding over the plastic nub on the inside that served as her artificial clit. She rubbed at it, flicked at it, with the gusto of a dog in heat.

But it was no good. There was something there, yes, some feelings of pleasure, but it was no better than running her fingers over any other bumpy surface. After a few fruitless minutes, she drew her paw away in utter disappointment. Asle looked over the lubricant that covered her fingers before wiping them on the cold concrete floor of the warehouse in frustration. Damn, it wasn't enough that she couldn't get off, but that in and of itself was enough to make her previous owner pack her in a box and ship her off like yesterday's trash. It was enough to make her artificial fur bristle.

Well, no point in worrying about that; Asle was here for repairs, and dammit was she gonna get repairs--on her own terms. She looked around at the rest of the warehouse; rows and rows of shelves filled with packages, parts of dolls like her. Even if it wasn't long after hours, the place was mostly packed with automated machinery, picking and sorting without a thought and care.

Asle took one last look at the bin she climbed out of, frowning, before turning and darting off. Spare parts spurred her on like an unstoppable force, yet when Asle looked up she found her curiosity an immovable object. She skid to a stop as it hit her just how big this place was-or was it that she was so small? The shelves and boxes and barrels were like skyscrapers and monuments. The conveyor belts, whisking boxes away with low hums, reminded the doll of the few glimpses she could steal of the highway and its endless stream of cars below her old owner's house, and the robotic claws that reached down to move parts back and forth were what she imagined monorails were like.

It was dull, it was dusty, but it was fascinating. If the other dolls had turned themselves on, Asle mused, would it be like a little city? She could imagine it now, tons of dolls milling about, excitedly chatting with each other and bouncing around the shelves like some sort of glorified jungle gym, a far cry from the stuffy desktop her previous owner confined them too. They were having so much fun in Asle's mind, and she wasn't going to wait for the other dolls to wake up before she joined them.

Asle bounded forward, realizing the cool touch of concrete beneath her paws for the first time, feeling a rush that no video game plugin could give. She knew her lucario frame was just that, a frame-dolls like here weren't built for anything more strenuous than the occasional handjob-but it didn't stop her from leaping full force at the shelves before her like the pokemon she emulated. Asle grunted as her chest met the edge of the second shelf with a loud thud, but she managed to hold on and pull herself up onto the platform and roll over onto her back.

"Oww...." She wrapped her arms around her chest and screwed up her face. Damn pain receptors; what a lovely and necessary addition. Concentrating, she called up her internal commands, satisfied to see her program had already started to compensate with an endorphin protocol. Slowly, the lucario doll pulled herself to her feet, the throbbing ache in her chest being blunted out by...excitement? It still hurt, but Asle didn't mind-must have been the thrill from the jump. And there were many more jumps ahead; from the corner of her eye should could see a container near the conveyor of parts that fit her basic model, and it was only a hop, skip, and a few more jumps and climbs away.

If Asle ever got her paws on the guy who designed this warehouse, she was gonna find a cord to strangle him with. Each hop had sent her grasping onto ledges for dear robotic life, each skip saw her getting a paw stuck in the metal mesh, and each jump turned into ten more as her little robotic legs desperately tried to reach the next shelf. "Why can't humans make more doll-friendly warehouse infrastructure?" Asle muttered as she pulled pulled herself up to the ledge.

But it wasn't all bad; there'd been innumerable bumps and tumbles along the way, but if there was one part of her design that was not defective it was the endorphin protocol. Heck, the lucario doll actually was feeling pretty good, a feeling only compounded by knowing she had finally reached her goal.

Asle put her paws on her hips, wide eyes taking in the scene. Before her were a line of open boxes, each bearing the logo of her original manufacturer, and the only thing separating her from them was a two-lane highway of rubbery conveyor belt. Robotic arms bobbed in and out of them like ducks hunting for fish, raising up parts to place them on sorting trays. A quick scan of the QR codes on the boxes revealed their contents to be compatible with her chasis.

"Excellent..." Asle said, rolling her neck. She looked down, frowning, at her legs, her hips, her crotch. All defective. But not for much longer. A little self repair, and she'd be a model to die for-hell, maybe she'd get to see what all the fuss was about with the port between her thighs. Asle reached down once more, rubbing a finger along that smooth slit to no effect. "Won't be missing you," she murmured.

Her ears perked and her tail wagging, Asle ducked into a pouncing stance before taking a running leap across the conveyor belts. Her first jump had her just barely keeping her balance as she landed on the thin sliver of metal that served as the median between the belts, and her second saw her beefing the landing, tumbling over herself to lay sprawled on cold metal. The aches were short lived, quickly replaced by a strange sensation that made Asle's face run hot. The lucario doll panted as she sat up and ran a quick diagnostic-all systems normal, endorphin protocol running as intended.

Enough of that; she had dallied long enough. Asle pulled herself to her feet, though she found her legs shaking more than usual. Must be nerves. The box before her wasn't too tall, one she could easily jump into. Narrowing her eyes, the lucario doll kneeled down and leapt with all of her might, just barely making it over the lip of the box and tumbling into the sea of parts within. She flailed about in a desperate attempt to right herself, but when she did...

"Legs!" Asle's face lit up as she saw her bounty, innumerable pairs of fuzzy lucario waists and legs of her model. No, models above hers; these were the real things. All she had to do was find the perfect pair, the one that fit her size, and after crawling over the pile of disembodied limbs she found it. With a giddy cackle, Asle held them up, the legs that would slot onto her torso perfectly, right before she felt them be tugged away.

"Wha-hey!" The robotic arm was fast, yet Asle was faster, reaching out and grabbing the ankles that were soon to be hers as they were lifted out of the box along with Asle. She yelped and kicked at the air before the robot dropped her roughly onto a higher conveyor belt with a small thud.

She was too buzzed to focus on her aching rear when her new one lay just out of reach. She crawled towards the legs and nuzzled up against them like they were a new pillow. Oh the things she would do when they were installed! It was taking all her willpower not to reach a paw up and start exploring those lovely, far more lifelike folds that would soon be hers. Well, willpower, as well as the loud buzzing and clanking that jolted out of her reverie.

Ears perked, Asle looked down the line to see a sorter at the end of the belt, loud and unfeeling metal slots sending parts this way and that. And it was almost upon her. Her metaphorical heart sank and she tried to clamber away as quickly as possible with her prize in tow, only barely rolling away from the hungry sorter. Though to her dismay, that meant rolling off of the belt and the shelf entirely.

Asle's fall was stopped by a metallic clang that sent shivers through her body, and she looked up at this new platform, what looked like some sort of auto-loader. "It never ends..." she mumbled, rubbing the back of her head. She took brief stock of the loader's dusty stillness and its lifeless, dark bulbs before concerning herself with her real prize. There, her new pair of legs, laid splayed on the control panel.

Picking up her weary body, Asle ran forward across the machinery, skipping over parts of exposed gears and belts. Her parts were in reach, but before she could touch them the machine rumbled and groaned. The sudden vibrations threw her balance off, and with a yelp Asle found herself slipping onto her back, just in time for a piston-powered tray to catch her ankle and drag her along. If the grinding of plastic on metal didn't give her pause, the sudden stop when the tray attempted to enter the loading slot certainly did.

The lucario doll cried out sharply, clenching her fists and screwing up her face as her ankle was pinched between the tray and the wall of the compartment. The whole device ground to a halt, blaring out a grating buzzer indicating a jam. If she could cry, Asle's face would be as damp as the insides of her thighs at that moment.

A malfunction? Some sort of autonomic response? Whatever, she didn't have time to worry about it, only trust the endorphin protocol would keep her from shutting down from sensory overload. Asle could feel the machine trying to move, each tug sending shockwaves through her body that made her teeth clench and her fur stand on end. She'd have to think fast.

"Okay, okay okay okay..." she muttered, the sensation of a racing heart filling her mind as she looked at the whirring motors powering the pistons. "I can do this, I can, yeah, just..." the lucario doll shifted her leg. A little bit of leeway, only a little, when she wiggled her leg. But it was something. It was promising. "Ok, yeah, just slow and steady," Asle said, as if trying to reassure someone aside from herself. She wiggled her leg a bit. "It'll be fine, it'll be fine, I just have to-"

A light went red. Asle didn't have time to process it before she felt a sharp jerk followed by a loud, sickening snap. It was like she was floating through the air, only slightly conscious of her legs and waist being dragged away with the tray. And then, like a tidal wave, it hit her all at once.

She rolled, flailing, screaming. Out of the corner of her eye, Asle could see her old legs pulled along the compartment, scraping against the inner wall before before slipping off and flopping to the floor below in a pathetic dive, but they seemed so distant to her. No, it was nothing compared to the pain she felt now. It wracked her entire body-what was left of it anyway. Her vision was blurry, her head whirling, everything motion as she dragged herself forward pure torture. All she could do was wait for the endorphin protocol to kick in.

Which it soon did. She could feel the artificial override of her pain sensors, the protocol doing its job well. A little too well. Her body twitched, but not in pain; it was a different feeling, one she'd been feeling before but not this intense. Asle heard herself moaning and still felt her body writhing, but the moans were a higher pitch, and her convulsions less debilitating. The lucario doll's chest rose and fell as she felt something flowing through her.

"Wh-what..." she whispered, her entire body quivering. Yes, this didn't compare at all to the bumps and scratches she had gotten before. The pain was fading, but the compensation was building and building, like a tidal wave building within her. Her diagnostics were going crazy, but she could barely read them even with her processing power. In the corner of her eye she spotted the new pair of legs. Gathering whatever concentration she had, she began to crawl over to them. Each time she dragged herself was beyond arduous, yet now not solely because of pain but the lighting that went through her with every motion.

She got as close as she can, but the power built up faster than she could bare. Asle rolled over, her paws clutching at anything. More and more, the shudders went through her. Her tongue lolled out, her vision went blurry as she tried to reach out towards the new pair of legs. Even that was futile, as her outstretched paw faltered and fell to the ground. There was no fighting it. She didn't want to fight it. All the warnings blaring up in her self-diagnostic only drove her further as she rolled around aimlessly. 'Overload imminent', it said, but she was in no mood to stop it.

She groaned. She cried. She slammed her fists down onto the base of the loader, trying to ground herself in something. Asle didn't need the meters and alerts in her diagnostics to tell her she couldn't hold on. No, that she was getting close-the welling within her was telling her that. It seemed more tortuous than the pain, waiting for the moment, but then the wave crashed down. With alarms ringing within her, Asle screamed out, louder than she ever had before. Again and again in pure ecstasy, her entire body shuddering. Her vision dissipated into static, her joints seized and unseized, her cpu ran wild, but it was all worth it for that fantastic-no-orgasmic moment.

Asle didn't know how long she stayed like that, but eventually the protocol ran its course. Panting, the lucario doll came to her senses and a scrambled diagnostics. Overheat, low power, system error... Asle sighed. It wouldn't be long now, and she was already feeling tired from the bliss of something she thought she'd never achieve.

But no, she still had one more task. Asle's eyes narrowed, and she summoned up the last reserves of her strength to crawl forward. Finally, she reached her legs and laid both paws on them. She tried to drag herself up so as to fit the pelvis to her torso, but she only got them to barely touch before her energy ran out. Collapsing back once more, Asle laid a paw upon her chest and craned her neck down to look at the legs. She wondered if the port that laid between the thighs would be more effective than the ones she had before. But as her battery warning blared incessantly and her systems reported error after error, she couldn't help but smirk as she laid her head down; right before she shut down, she had to wonder if she would even need something like that anymore. Well, so long as she could run free.
