Harmony lay in her bed, her beautiful golden coat and dark hair gleaming in the early morning light that streamed in through her bedroom window; the curtains whispering in the soft breeze, as she moaned and rolled over, burying her equine-like muzzle into the soft plush she cuddled in her sleep. A few moments more of sleep was granted to this Palomino filly, before the warbling of her alarm clock woke her from her deep, tranquil sleep. Blinking her eyes, Harmony yawned and sat up, pushing aside the plush and rubbing her eyes with her fingertips. Turning her head to the side, she gazed at her own reflection - her fur all ruffled and hair a knotted mess, then she yawned again and stretched.

Throwing aside the thin sheets of her bed-covers, Harmony slid out of bed then rested her hooves on the thick rug, before rubbing her eyes again and stretching, placing her interlaced fingers up over her head and moaning softly. Not a morning filly by any stretch, Harmony idly scratched at her left flank, then blinked owlishly at the bedside clock which kept its insistent beeping. Slapping at it with a paw, Harmony knocked it over and it uttered a rattling clatter as it bounced off the bedside table, then with a last beep - fell silent.

"Alright...alright - " Harmony moaned, as she ran her fingers through her dark hair, then flicked her fringe away from her eyes. "I'm awake already...."

Standing, harmony stretched once again, before leaning over, her long tail rising as she did so, and touched her hooves with her fingertips - which glistened darkly in the early morning light. Flicking a golden coloured ear in irritation, Harmony already heard her brother rattling around in the kitchen, and she groaned, wondering what mess he was working on now, in the wild ideas of calling it breakfast....

Standing five feet four inches tall, Harmony was a beautiful anthropomorphic Palomino filly, her predominant colours of gold evident on her smooth fur, her hair and tail were a dark brown - something she inherited from her father - and as she whiffled through her nostrils in exasperation, Harmony ran her furred palms down over her breasts and on to her stomach, feeling the firm musculature of her equine heritage. With a snort, she shook her head, her hair swishing, before she walked as naked as the day she'd been foaled, to the bathroom where she turned on the shower and prepared herself for the day to come...

Killian clattered and crashed around in the kitchen, flour and eggs spattering the bench-top, as he, as was the young colt's want - tried too juggle too many things at once, and ended up just making a mess. Already, his rich chestnut fur was spattered here and there with flour, his black forearms, looking like he was wearing gloves, had turned almost white, as he muttered and cracked two eggs with one paw, dropping the empty shells onto the bench, the other paw trying to stop the pancakes from burning.

For a colt, he stood six feet two inches tall, rather large for his age, but his father had always been tall, as his father before him, and so on - his fur a light chestnut, but with very prominent black 'gloves' on his forearms, and black 'socks' on his legs, that ended at the knees. He had inherited these from his sire as well, but Killian's gloves and socks were a much darker. Cursing, the young equine knocked over the milk which began forming a gluey mess on the kitchen bench, and he swished his tail in agitation, then upended the milk bottle and set it right, scooping some of the mess off the bench and dropping it into the sink with a wet splat.

A soft giggle behind him, and then the warm breath against his hair made him snort in alarm, before he smelt his sister's familiar scent behind him, her paws sliding around his hips as she nibbled his shoulder.

"Cooked like a professional - " Harmony giggled.

"Hey - " Killian snorted, then twisted around and touched noses with his smaller sister, each of them sharing breath in an affectionate greeting. "I don't see you out here cooking..."

Smiling at her brother, who meant well, but could almost burn water, Harmony nickered in laughter then placed a still wet paw against her brothers cheek and stroked her fingers downwards.

"Ooh - " Killian gurgled, thoughts of breakfast swiftly departing the colt's mind.

"Behave - " Harmony admonished him gently.

"Yes mistress - " Killian snorted, then tweaked his sisters rump teasingly, going back to his cooking.

Harmony gasped at his pinch to her rump, then playfully swatted her brother's rump in return - before pushing him aside and looking at the mess he'd made...she wasn't sure, be she thought she could salvage something from the mess he had created....rolling up the sleeves of the emerald green blouse she wore, she shook her head and set about preparing their breakfast....

"Happy now?" Harmony asked her brother, who leant back in the heavily reinforced chair, petting his fully belly contentedly.

"Mmm - " He murmured, then slid away the plate, a few crumbs of toast and a half-eaten pancake left, drooling with maple syrup and butter. "Yes...thank you - "

harmony never failed to be amazed at how much food Killian could eat - it was like feeding a bottomless pit. Compared to Harmony's light meals, Killian should be as heavy as a shire, and just as big, but he kept himself in an athletic shape...even still, the food bills had grown higher and higher, as Killian grew. Resting her chin on her paws, harmony watched as her brother happily cleaned away the dishes, stacking them noisily on the sink bench, and she sighed, shaking her head slowly.

"You've all the grace and subtlety of a herd of wilder-beasts..." Harmony taunted him.

"Hey, at least I made the effort - " Killian snorted in riposte. "Left up to you, we'd eat about lunch time..."

knowing her brother knew how Harmony loved her sleep, she chuckled and conceded the point, then drummed her hooflet's on the table slowly, raising an eyebrow at him.

"Aren't you forgetting something..." Harmony asked quietly.

"I don't know what you're talking about," Killian snorted, then turned about and started filling the sink.

Harmony rose from her chair, then clopped over to stand behind her brother, sliding her paws around his hips and nuzzling his hair, before playfully sliding her paws into his jeans waistband and stroking the warm, leathery sheath.

"Ooh" Killian gurgled, his eyes widening and nostrils flaring.

"Now I have your attention - " Harmony breathed out, caressing her brothers sheath with her fingers. "Are you not forgetting...something?"

With a snort, he pulled her paws out, then twisted himself around until he touched noses with her and stared into her dark, soulful eyes.

"Of course I had not forgotten your birthday today - " He chuckled, then kissed her nose. "How could you even think I'd forgotten?"

With a whiffle, Harmony looked up into her brothers eyes, seeing the spark of mischievousness in them. She snorted, then slapped his chest and turned away, flicking his jeans with her tail as she sat patiently at the kitchen table.

"Well? Did you get me a present?" Harmony asked, ears pricking forwards in anticipation.

"I did but let me clean up here - and then - you'll get your present...be patient young filly - " He admonished her, then went back to the dishes.

Harmony sat on her chair, twitching in anticipation, her ears flicking too and fro, her tail slashing eagerly from side to side. Killian snorted, then glanced back over his shoulder at his impatient sister.

"Doing that won't make me go any faster - want your present? Then come help me!" He tried to act all dominant and assertive, but ended up laughing, then flicking a hand-towel to her. "Come on, giddy-up!"

With a snort, Harmony snatched the towel, then teasingly flicked her brothers rump, making him jump. Helping him with the breakfast dishes, they soon had the kitchen spotless again, and harmony began harrassing her brother for her present. Delaying as long as he could, Killian chuckled, then walked to his bedroom, returning soon with a long, thick scarf.

"Getting kinky are we?" Harmony teased him playfully.

"You wish - " Killian replied, then sat her down and quickly blindfolded her.

Taking her paw, he lead her outside slowly, as she stumbled and reached for the blindfold, but he chuckled and slapped her straying hand.

"Not yet - almost there - " He told her, leading her across the homestead paddock and too the large two story barn.

Deprived of her sense of vision and touch, Harmony began inhaling great lungfuls of air, and flicking her ears vigorously, trying to build a coherent mental image of where here brother was taking her. When the door to the old wooden barn creaked, despite Killian's best efforts earlier to oil its hinges, her ears pricked forwards and she smiled knowingly.

"Ooo - going to do it in the hayloft again?" Harmony whispered. "I remember last time, you nearly fell out the - "

With a snort, he placed a black gloved paw against her lips and silenced her.

"No and no, but definitely tempted...but no." Killian chucked, then led her inside and closed the door behind her.

Positioning her in the middle of the barn's straw covered floor, he turned her about, then chuckled, telling her to take off the blindfold. Her trembling hands did so, and her eyes looked straight into her brothers, who gazed back at her, his own ears pricked forwards inquisitively, before he chuckled and told her too turn around....
