Corgi is served the traditional cooking of her partner, and must smile.

~ Though her nose already was protesting, it was not until the corgi laid eyes on the sheer quantity and variety of peppers in the dish that despair truely took root behind her fascade of excitement and anticipation. It was like a casserole of flames and color.

~ "I'm glad to finally be able to cook up one the old recipes that my grandmother would make for the meal before a holiday. The ingredients never seem to be all in season at the right time around here," the magpie's beak slightly agape in a mimicry of a smile as she laid the bowl down on the dining table.

~ The pooch gripped even more tightly to the glass of water in one hand, and fork of the other, as if they were talismans to empower what truth there was in her fiction, "I've been looking forward to it, Love!"
