The Night's Honor

After quite a few celebratory drinks, Silver had already left to start the next phase of his plan, while Whittaker and Edward stayed up late into the night in the company of each other, comparing scars, and stories. Whittaker slammed his glass down on the table, and took off his coat, before lifting his shirt to reveal his toned stomach, the fur hiding the hint of washboard abs. There, a large scar ran across, to his side, he grinned and pointed to it, "That's where I almost got cut in half by a Helljumper," he said before dropping his shirt back down.

"Wait, you mean one of those crazies who let their bodies get possessed by a demon and regain control," Edward spat out before standing up as well.

"One of the most extreme sports indeed," he said.

"Yeah, well check this out," he said as he pulled up his shirt, and turned around. His large back rippled as he flexed, and right beneath the shoulders, a series of vertical scars ran down, causing a checkered pattern along his natural stripes. "Got thrown into a ghoul pit when I got into a bar fight with an Etheral guard."

The white wolf's eyes watched the tiger's muscled form, he was quite handsome, he thought to himself as he sat back down, and downed another drink. "So, wanna know how I got this one?" he said as he traced down the scar over his white eye. The tiger left his shirt off as he turned to face the white wolf. Taking a deep breath and expanding his impressive chest, he nodded. "Got this when, I killed the guy who trained me, son of a bitch liked to brag that he set the standard. We fought; I challenged him, his star pupil. Thought he had me till I used magic. People say I cheated, and carelessly took his life, but none of them had the balls to tell me to my face. I did what I had to do to establish myself, I wouldn't let them walk all over me," he said as he took another swig.

"Shit, dude, that's hardcore," he said as he laid back in his chair, his large frame causing the chair to creek as it strained to carry his weight. "I've been a loner pretty much, picking up the odd job here and there, had plenty of close calls, but still, for all the years, I'd figure I would have done a lot more," he said suddenly reflecting upon his own accomplishments. He let out a sigh, and thought about why he still felt uneasy. There was something more to Silver than just their boss, he knew that the feline had an agenda that he told no one else about, but he had no clue what it could be, at the same time, he didn't want to care. Still, his senses told him to be cautious, and they've kept him alive so far.

"Yeah, well don't think too hard about it, we all gotta die sometime, and by then, who cares what we leave behind," said the slayer, as he slumped forward in his own chair. He looked around in the expensive apartment they had been using as a meeting place for the past month. The place was well kept and screamed of luxury. It was more than he was used to, being a wanderer for a while, and he thought about the boss, "So, Silver pays good, but ever wonder why?"

"Good goon knows not to ask questions," said the tiger, his white fur was a slight pink from the liquor, but it seemed to not affect his mind like it did the wolf, who didn't realize his eyes still roamed the tiger's body. He smiled slightly as he watched his partner continue to check him out, he sneaked a few flexes in as innocent stretching, and tilted his head as he watched Whittaker's eyes widen slightly.

The wolf blinked, and looked out the window for a moment, "Guess yer right," he said before standing up and walking towards the window, his eyes still watched the tiger in the reflection as his tail twitched slightly with drunken thoughts going through his mind. He always had an eye for the tiger, but he did his best not to mix business with pleasure. "You know what? I just realized, you're pretty big for a vamp," he said as he turned to face his partner. The tiger stood up with a grin on his face.

"Yeah, well I was big when I turned," he said lifting an arm and giving it a flex, "Strong then, stronger now," he said brining up the other arm.

"Yeah, well, looks good," the wolf said, his already drunk face, hiding his blush. "I gotta question, how did ya, err, turn? I don't know what your technical term is for it, I don't study ya, just how to kill ya," he said, rubbing the back of his head as he started to slightly stumble over his words.

"Well, that was quite a whiles ago, I worked at the shipyard back in old London days. Moved cargo on and off the ships goin' out to port, well one day, weird ship came in, and I needed the work, so I came inside to grab what I thought was just another every day container, when I got in, they locked me in, and the vamp came out. I fought it off the best I could before the little guy beat me near death before he bit me. Said I was worth to be like him, did a number on my mind, fucked me and bit me. When I woke up, I was a vamp, never looked back since that day though, as far as I was concerned, my old life is dead."

The wolf took in the tiger's words, at first feeling a little bad for him, he didn't choose to live his life the way it was now, but rather he was just trying to make the best out of his situation. 'But what about me?' he asked himself. What had all his backstabbing and power gotten him other than a fat pay check? He finished up another drink, and walked up to the tiger, the grin he wore all the time was off, replaced with a slight frown. "I..." he started, but couldn't find any words. The tiger watched the wolf in his moment of weakness, all his defenses cast aside, and he was just another mortal. He smiled, and looked upon the wolf, he could relate to him. He put a large finger to his muzzle and shushed him.

"There's no need, I understand" he said as he leaned over and picked up the wolf, and hugged him tight. Whittaker pressed himself into the muscular chest, and nuzzled between the tigers pectorals. "Shhh," he continued as he rubbed his back, slowly the wolf's arms wrapped themselves around the tiger's waist. He brushed aside the wolf's hair as he gave his head a few pets before leaning down, and resting his stripped head on his shoulder. He gave him a gentle lick before he grazed his fangs slowly across the wolf's exposed neck. Whittaker shivered, and tried to push the larger tiger back, but he held on firmly. His defined arms seemed weak against the wall of muscle he pressed against, and he gasped softly as he felt the fangs press into his skin, sinking in slowly. It stung a bit before it began to tingle. Slowly it spread, and his body became limp in the burly arms of Edward as he moved over to the bed.

He set the wolf down as he wiped a line of blood from the corner of his muzzle. He licked his lips before he straddled the wolf. Whittaker felt lightheaded, both a mixture of the bite and the alcohol as he watched images of the tiger blur and come into focus repeatedly he smiled and licked the paw that caressed his cheek. He slipped a claw tip along the collar of the wolf's undershirt and quickly sliced it off as he undressed him. He stood and took off his pants before he finished undressing the wolf, and admired his naked body. Taught with muscles, he was athletic, as most slayers were, his fur hid most of the scars along his body, but as he traced his claws around, he could see each one. He definitely earned his reputation.

Soft tracing soon became caressing as his paws felt here and there, the wolf's paws didn't sit idle for long before he was feeling the tiger's firm body. Edward crouched over naked on top of the wolf as he continued to explore his body. Whittaker traced his paw down Ed's firm abs before stopping at the plump sheath that is attached to a low hanging sac. He smiled to himself as he went for the prize and cupped the tiger's orbs, giving them a soft squeeze and lifting them, feeling their weight as his seed was rolled around. He continued to fondle the tiger while strong paws spread his legs. The wolf's pink tip could be seen as it poked out of his white sheath. The tiger nosed the sheath, coaxing the pink member out slowly. He gave the wolf's velvet covered balls a long lick as more of his cock slide out. The tiger's maleness was dangling in front of the wolf's muzzle as he scooted back and began to give his growing cock a loving lick.

Whittaker let out a soft moan as he gripped one hand around the tiger's growing shaft and slid his fat cock into his muzzle, savoring the musky taste as his long tongue wrapped around the soft spikes of the feline cock. The tiger fell over on his side before pulling up the wolf's hips by his ass and taking his cock into his feline maw. His rough tongue gave his tip a slow lick, which caused him to shudder and hunch forward. They both began to suck each other off as the wet slurps were the only sounds heard for a while.

At some point, Edward pulled off and pulled the wolf's legs over and rested his head between his thighs, slowly licking along his taint before reaching his tail hole. He gave it a quick lick and kissed it before lapping over it with long, firm licks. Whittaker let out another loud moan into the thick tiger dick in his maw before pulling it off and stroking gently while he began to suckle on his fuzzy orbs. The tiger continued to rim the wolf, using his paws to spread his cheeks wider as he continued to lick his hole wet. He smiled at his handy work as he sucked on a finger and popped it out before wiggling it into the wolf's hot ass, eliciting another moan as he sunk his finger down to the knuckle. Whittaker continued to stroke Edward as he felt him wiggle another digit inside his tail hole.

Edward pushed himself up and his sac popped out of Whittaker's wet maw as he turned and crawled over the wolf on all fours. He smiled and ground his still slick cock between his ass cheeks, before shifting his hips and pressed his tip into the wolf's wet hole. He let out a long purr as he felt his thick shaft sink into the hot flesh. The wolf let out a low moan as he felt his ass stretched by the tiger's girth, his insides massaging the feline member as it sank all the way in. He felt the tiger grab his own cock and began to stroke him in time as Edward lifted each leg onto his shoulder and leaned forward as he began to fuck the wolf hard. His hips thrust forward rapidly as he shook the bed into the wall while he pounded the wolf's tight ass. He drooled slightly as he continued to stroke the fully erect wolf meat while his hips developed a mind of their own. The wolf tossed his head into the pillows and closed his eyes as he laid there moaning, each slap of the tiger's balls hitting the wolf's firm ass added a staccato effect to his groans of lust.

The tiger watched as Whittaker's thick knot began to swell, he gripped the base of it as he continued to roughly stroke him while he continued to repeatedly slam into the wolf, his paws were soaked in the wolf's pre. He gave one a quick lick, savoring his flavor before returning to his rough stroking. The wolf clenched down onto tiger's cock as he let out a weak howl, as he released his seed all over the tiger's chest and his own belly. Edward continued to stroke as he gave a few final thrust, slamming hard with the last one as he felt his seed explode into the wolf. He let out a low growl as he filled his ass with his tiger cum. He grunted as he gave a few more pumps while hilted, feeling some of it squished deeper into him, while the excess ran down around his used hole. Edward fell on top of the wolf, his heavy body nearly crushing him till he pulled his legs to the side and pulled him on top as he rolled over. He held the wolf and panted softly into his ear. Whittaker had passed out and snoozed gently on top of Edward as the evidence of their lust leaked slowly. Edward laid there for a while, his eyes wide open. He wanted to do something meaningful with his life, and he thought about the wolf on top of him. He dove into his memories with the blood he drank earlier, and it was clear that he'd thrown away most of his life. He closed his eyes, contemplating what he could do, and when he finally found his peace of mind, he fell asleep. His decision made, he would save the wolf from himself, and though the path he sought was distant, he knew he was the right one for his sense of unease faded instantly.

Charlene flew Brandon far away to meet Andrew. All the while, he was silent and just stared at the ground, contemplating of making the elemental let go of him so that he could just drop. He shook the thoughts form his head as he looked back, the empty space that was once the church stood as a monument of his fallen love. He swore he could hear crying that wasn't his own as he flew through the skies. He swore at himself that he was going crazy over this, but he did his best to clear his mind as they landed. Andrew waited for them on the roof tops. He looked over at Brandon and stepped forward to wipe his tears. Brandon found little peace in the bear's embrace as he threw himself into his large chest. "Poor boy," Charlene said as she became flesh once more.

"Indeed, but we don't have much time, take this," Andrew said as he placed a necklace around Brandon, on the end was a silver ankh. "This should protect you from the skull for a while, but we still have to get it back,"

"What do you mean we have to get the skull back?" he said as he looked at the bear, noticing the game has shifted.

"Sylvester, he has the skull," Andrew said, his eyes steady.

"Wait, what about Aiden, what the hell am I suppose to do without?" he cried out, his voice shaking a bit with anger.

"We can't waste the time to grieve, if we don't stop the panther, the line between the waking world and ours will no longer exist. Brandon, you have the power to stop him, and we'll help you,"

"I can't..." he said, his voice becoming lost, like his eyes. Andrew watched, and walked next to Charlene.

"Sweetie, we can't let some power hungry fool get away with the ability to kill anyone, there's a balance to be preserved,"

"I don't care anymore," he said.

"Please, you owe it to Aiden. You can't leave things as they are,"

"Don't speak as if you know him, I read that book, and it's true, even the lore masters don't have much on void seekers. I cared about him, I really did, he wasn't another guardian, he was so much more," he started.

"Brandon, we know, that was then, this is now, and now we have to fix this," Andrew said as he rested a paw upon the wolf's shoulder, and gave it a gentle squeeze. The bear thought about telling him of what he's been studying, but it was too soon to get his hopes up about what he learned about the void. "Come on, we have to track them down, if he's looking for the remainder of the council, I hope my warning gets to them first."

"Let's go, hun, Silver's not too far from here," she said as she faded to flames once more and drifted slowly into the air.

Brandon opened his eyes, and looked at the night's sky. The moon shined dimly as the stars twinkled. He vowed to see Aiden again, but he knew his duty. He looked up at Charlene, and then to Andrew and nodded. "Whatever, let's go," he said, his voice hollow. He put away his caring self, the parts that could be hurt, and became the monster of old. His fangs extended slightly and his fur darkened, as a malevolent aura hung about him. "Take us there," he said looking over at Andrew, he nodded and brought out a small book. Flipping to some random page, he tore a sheet out of it, and threw it onto the ground, in seconds, the page unfolded itself into an extra dimension and opened up like a door. They stepped through, and the doorway dissolved into dust into the night's air. On the other side, they were in a large underground cavern. There the council were standing along the outer rim of a glowing pool of water. They all instantly turned to their guest and took off their hoods.

They all looked young, of course their eternal youth was a side effect of vampirism. They smiled, and greeted them in unison, their voice like a choir of angels, or demons who hid behind angelic masks. "Greetings prince, what is the pleasure of your visit,"

"You all are in danger, the one called Silver is coming for you, and he intends to kill all of you,"

"Oh there's no need to worry," they said followed by a disarming smile.

"Something's wrong," Andrew said as he stepped forward. "Shit, he's here,"

"Ah, all the knowledge in the universe at your fingertips, and yet you still came here," said a voice from the shadows. The panther stepped forward from behind a stalagmite, "But I'm afraid you're too late, as well as wrong, I have no intention of killing the council, but rather to make a deal with them. I offer them your head, and let them keep their precious traditions, and they offer all their services to me in exchange for shifting the status quo."

"Wait, council, is this true, you would sacrifice one of your own?" said Charlene.

"Indeed, times have changed, but we are ageless, you," they said pointing to Brandon, "You have gone astray too long, and it is time now for you to be relinquished of your position so that a new authority may step in, you had your chance to rule, but you threw it away in pursuit of your own life, now it will be the price you pay!"

"I knew I should have killed you all myself," said Brandon as he walked forward. He lifted his hands and called out to the very blood in their veins, but temperature in the room suddenly dropped. There, in the hands of the panther, was a small skull, but his eyes could see the magics behind it, as a large shade of death itself stood behind Silver, fixing his eyeless stare right at Brandon, he could feel a lump in the throat of his soul as the image became solid.

Somewhere in the eternal darkness, Aiden clung on painfully to Brandon's memory. He looked at himself, and was alarmed to find that he had paws, and most of his body. There were holes everywhere as parts of him were transparent. He focused on pulling himself together, and slowly the blank spots filled. He winced as the wound where the wolf had stabbed him came back as well. He let out a long sigh as he faded into smoke once more. He couldn't see anything, but a distant twinkle. He closed his eyes and opened them once more, there was more than one spark of light, in fact, there were many. He was looking at the cosmos from far away.

He watched the stars as they drifted by him. He was slung across the universe as he settled his thoughts back on the one that he clung on to with sheer willpower. His body slowly condensed and became the vague shape of a fox as he continued to fly, homing in on his home world. Like a blur, everything flew by so fast till he was at the spot he last saw Brandon. On the empty ground where the church once stood, he searched. The world was strange to him somehow. Everything was gray, and blurry, as if he was on the other side of some thick, transparent veil. He walked right into a wall, only to pass through it as if it were made of smoke. He was alone in this world, but he could sense Brandon. Something felt strange as he sought out the wolf, as if he was covered in something that he tried to sense, but could not define. Whatever it was, it sent shivers through his shifting form as he shook himself and began to float through the world, wandering in search of anyone else. He turned his head towards the ground, and in a voice bearly a whisper "Brandon," he said before sinking into the earth.
