Sound mine'd...
My mind hasn't been racing as much as of late
This pause has been nice, rather great in every imaginable, like I'm at paradises gate
Time still slips so quickly among my hands grasping for more
But...it's not all bad spending this time with the ones I adore
I feel, for once, okay with rock bottom, the barrel empty of thought
It's been fun, walking where I would run, I like it...a lot...
Tomorrow is still sunny, clouds or rain, & storms yet to be
I've found a new edge on a familiar ledge, it's rather peaceful, at least to me...
Looking about
I feel ease among the breeze riddled with doubt
It's just... okay...
It is... another timid day...
I don't think, won't think of it, any other way...
