Senior Soul

Chapter 8

"Huh.... (Yawn)... So why didn't Ace take you home? I thought he was taking you and dropping you off as well." Luke's mother, Mrs. Swift, said between yawns and sleepy eyes.

Luke had just been picked up from the amusement park after he had been stranded by his friends and mate. It took Mrs. Swift about 35 minutes to reach the park, and Mr. Swift and she were usually out like lights around 9:00. It was now 9:45, and during the time it took for Luke's mom to pick him up, Luke had thought about all that had happened at the end of the day, by the Ferris wheel. It had all happened so fast, and Luke felt like his self-conscience had been missing throughout it all, only his instincts left to take over. He felt awful, he felt weak, and he felt lowly. He thought about what it would be like if he died tomorrow, and how he wouldn't care even if he did. No one would miss me, that's for sure, Luke thought as he sniffed silently, trying to hold back tears after many minutes of them.

"Luke, could you tell me what happened?" Luke's mom asked, after being ignored.

Luke didn't mean to ignore her. He was so overwhelmed by what had happened that he just couldn't concentrate on the world around him.

"... (Sniff)...Ace didn't take me home because....we had an argument..." Luke lied as he once again pictured what really happened and had to fight twice as hard not to cry.

"...Well, I'm sure you guys can get through it. You guys have been as thick as thieves ever since you met. I know! Knowing Ace, he'll probably still be up when we get home. Why don't you give him a call, or go over to his house to sort things out?"

Luke actually thought about it, even though he knew it was a definite "no." There's no way Ace would even look at him through the window if he came over to his house.

"I really don't think Ace wants to talk to me at all right now." Luke said, looking down.

"Hmm. Well, if it won't be tonight, I bet you'll make up tomorrow at school. As I said before, you guys have been together since we got here, and whatever happened at the park won't last for long, with the bond you both share." Luke's mother said, smiling, very confident in her words.

Luke didn't have much to be happy or hopeful about, so it was nice to hear his mom try to cheer him up.

"Heh... (Sniff)...you make it seem like we're going out or something." Luke said, chuckling the slightest bit.

Mrs. Swift didn't say anything. Luke found this very odd...

He slowly turned his head to face his mother. She was doing the exact same, but with an embarrassed smile on her face, like she had just been called out.

"Mom....you..." Luke couldn't muster the words, but he knew exactly what he wanted to say, and so did his mom.

"Yes." Mrs. Swift replied.

Luke was so surprised he couldn't even bring himself to cry anymore. The shock settled in Luke and for a minute or so no one said anything. Luke wasn't very sure how his mom was going to take it. He knew what his father would do, or at least a very good theory of what he'd do; his mother, on the other hand, was a mystery.

"Is it...I mean...are you okay with it?" Luke said bleakly.

"Well, I can't say that I would want it over you being with a woman, but...if it's what makes you happy...I don't have a problem with it." Mrs. Swift answered.

This surprised Luke even more, and it caused him to widen his eyes and look at his mother in awe. Before he could catch himself, his mother saw him.

"Oh please, don't give me that look. Luke, I'm your mother. I probably knew long before you did. I was just waiting for you to finally act on your feelings and find out who you are by yourself." Her words were authoritative, but her voice was gentle.

Luke fell silent again. He was sad, but his mothers understanding of him and his love for Ace helped a lot.

They had another moment of absent talking.

"So when do you plan on telling your father?" Were Mrs. Swift's ice- breakers.

Luke shot right up and his eyes widened.

"What?" Luke asked.

"Ugghh, don't do that, Luke. We both know that your going to have to tell him at some point. Though I'm not too sure how well he will take it, it's still something that has to be done sooner or later, and if I were you, I'de choose sooner."

Luke thought about it, and whether he would admit it or not, his mother was right.

"Well, why can't you just tell him? And why does it have to be sooner?" Luke asked.

"Because this is something you, as his son, need to do. I can't fight all of your battles, Luke. And why must it be sooner? Well...you'll see when we get home. I don't want to trouble you with it now, seeing as though you aren't in the best of moods."

Luke was dreading it already. Not only did he hate being uninformed, but to have the information he wasn't being told about be troubling too? This day is just going from good to shitty to shitastic, isn't it?

"Why don't you go to sleep, Luke? I'll wake you when we get home." Luke's mother proposed.

"Okay." Luke said. Sleeping felt like the ultimate remedy to Luke right now. He pulled up a lever under his seat to make the seat lean back a bit.

"Hey mom?" Luke said, just before he was about to lie back.

"Yes?" Mrs. Swift replied.

"Thank you...for everything." Luke said.

Luke's mother smile warmly.

"It's my job, son, but your welcome anyway. Goodnight." Mrs. Swift said.

Luke then laid back and almost instantly fell asleep.

Luke's dream was nothing more or less than played back images of him and Ace together. All the times they shared, all the fun they had...when he first met Ace after his first class, how he picked him up in front of everyone, with a big grin on his face...when they played their parts in Mr. Cross's skit and kissed ever so passionately, and how they danced in the street afterward...when Ace took him to his special place on the hilltop, and they made love till they were too tired to continue...it all flashed in front of him as he thought to himself if only it could have just stayed like this...

Then suddenly, everything went white. Luke was standing, but he didn't know what he was standing on. The ground just felt blank; he couldn't see it or anything else. The only thing that surrounded him was the bright color and the feeling of loneliness. Luke hated being alone.

Luke strained his eyes to see beyond the white. As he did, he thought he saw a figure very far away, pertaining that of a person's height and width.

Luke waved at the image to see what would happen.

The figure rose what Luke thought was an arm, and it waved back.

Then, the figure started to become clearer and clearer. Not only that, it was getting closer, as if it was teleporting at short distances, all leading up to Luke.

The figure swiftly appeared in front of Luke. It was a bit taller than him, and a bit more built, but Luke was not overwhelmed by the encounter.

Luke lifted his head to see Ace's face, staring at him.

"Oh Ace!"

Luke couldn't control himself as he instantly wrapped his arms around Ace and dug his face into his shirt.

It seemed as though Ace hesitated to do it, but not a few seconds after Luke had grabbed him did Ace also wrap his arms around his mate.

Luke wasn't really sure what it was, but he felt something was wrong. He didn't want to lift his head from Ace's chest to take a second look, but before, when Luke had raised his head to look at Ace, he could have sworn Ace was not smiling, or looking happy that he found his lover. In fact, if Luke wasn't losing his mind, he was pretty sure Ace looked sad, sober, and, if none of the others, disappointed.

Ace then slowly released his hold on Luke, took Luke's arms off of him, and put his paws on Luke's shoulders.

"Ace, what are you..." Luke said and chuckled, still surprised and happy that he had been in Ace's arms even after what had happened.

"Don't worry, Luke. This time, you won't have to pretend." Ace said.

Ace's booming words traveled through Luke, eyes opened widely, his body standing still in shock.

As he did, darkness started to envelop the bright world Luke and Ace inhabited. It came quickly, and it soon got up to Ace, and as it did, it took over his body. Luke watched while his lover slowly dissipated into the black abyss.

Luke looked at Ace one more time, and Ace gave him the same look he had when they met.

And just like that, Ace disappeared along with the remaining light left in the world, leaving Luke with nothing and nobody, except for the overwhelming darkness, and that same feeling of loneliness he had longed not to feel again.

"Augh!" Luke shot right up in the car seat.

The sky was a cool blue and even though the birds were chirping, the sun had not gotten over the horizon yet. It was morning.

Luke unbuckled his seat belt, as it had been on when he fell asleep, and he got out of the car. Naturally, he was once again back in his neighborhood, his mom's black Nissan 2003 Pathfinder taking up much of the driveway. His father also had a blue 2007 Ford Ranger, though it was hidden at the moment by the garage doors.

Before Luke began to walk down the small, concrete pathway to his doorstep, he looked over the neighborhood to find Ace's house. All the cars were there, but none of the lights were on. Like I said, he wouldn't want to talk to me anyways, Luke thought as he turned around to head inside his house.

Unlike Ace's, Luke's house had the lights on, and when Luke walked inside, he could smell his mothers morning breakfast cooking.

"Rise and shine." Mrs. Swift said.

"Ughh...rise and shine..." Luke said, trying to sound sleepier than he was. He didn't really feel like making small talk today.

"I made you eggs and bacon, along with orange juice. But that I didn't make. I'm sure the process is very boring and tedious."

Luke chuckled as his mother gave him his breakfast and beverage.

"Yeah, Luke needs all the proteins and vitamins he can eat. He's got a championship to win tonight.

Luke's ears went up at the sound of the word "Championships." He had completely forgotten about the championships. Ace, the rest of the soccer team, and Luke had been practicing almost every other day on the field since Luke got on the team, and during those days they had won 3 games already, leading them up to the championships that were happening tonight.

"Oh, Luke, there's something I need to tell you..." Mrs. Swift started.

"You're gonna tell him now?" Mr. Swift asked.

"I think he should know before he goes to school." Mrs. Swift answered.

"What is it?" Luke asked.

"Well, Luke...you know how we said your dad was going to be working on his military project for a few months when we came to Arkansas?" Mrs. Swift asked.

"Yeah, what about it?" Luke asked, not really certain he wanted to know.

"Well...they got finished faster than they thought they would, since they had gathered more workers than necessary for the job..." Mrs. Swift drifted.

"...Okay, what does this have to do with me?" Luke asked, still not getting it.

"It means we're headed back to Cali, boy." Mr. Swift answered.

"NO!" Luke screamed, and he banged the table he was sitting at.

He didn't mean to get so angry, it just happened. First the incident at the park, and now this...this must have been the bad news his mother had been talking about last night, Luke concluded. It had to be, because nothing could be worse than this.

Both Luke's parents were staring at Luke; Mr. Swift, with a puzzled look on his face, and Mrs. Swift, with a worried look on her face.

"Sorry for that outburst...um, I just checked the clock to see what time it was and I didn't realize how late I am for school."

They both looked at the clock.

"Oh...well, you need to move on then. Right, Luke?" Mrs. Swift asked.

"Definitely...(quickly downs food)...I guess...mmm...that I'll go get ready." Luke actually took the time to look at the clock, only to find that he really was on the verge of being late.

After he was finished with his food, he quickly ran upstairs to fix his hair in his bathroom mirror. He then put on random clean clothes and gathered his school supplies in his backpack.

"Alrighty Luke, try to have a good time at school." Mrs. Swift shouted from the kitchen, while Luke was going out the door.

Not possible, Luke thought as he opened the door.

"Will do. Bye." Luke said as he closed the door behind him.

Luke didn't make it to first period, and ended up being four minutes tardy.

"Say, I thought Ace carries you here? Then again, I haven't seen Ace this morning at all." Mr. Cross stated as he wrote up Luke's warning slip.

Luke just shrugged at his teacher. Mr. Cross's observations were correct, though; Ace was not in his seat, and Luke certainly did not see him in the hallway.

As Luke sat down he scanned the room for Alice. She was there, sitting pretty far away from him. As the class progressed a little, he noticed that she never once turned to look at him.

KNOCK-KNOCK.

"Come in." Mr. Cross said.

With that, Ace walked through the door with his hair a mess and his eyes bloodshot.

"How nice of you to join us, Mr. Lyle. Please fill out the tardy slip, and go sit at your desk."

After Ace signed the paper, he went to go sit where he usually sat; in front of Luke's desk.

As the class continued on, neither Ace nor Alice looked at or even acknowledged Luke.

Luke could withstand Alice not talking to him, but to have his lover, the one person he had connected with so many times at such deeper levels of compassion than others, ignore him like he was a piece of trash, was too much for him.

"Ace, could we please talk?" Luke whispered to Ace.

Ace didn't turn or whisper back to Luke.

"Ace, what I did at the park...it was unforgivable...and I wish I could take it all back. For that one instant, I lost myself, and I lost control. You have to believe me; I didn't mean anything by it. All I really want is..."

"So that's all it took, then?" Ace cut Luke off.

"What?" Luke asked.

"Could Luke and Ace please stop talking during my lesson?" Mr. Cross stated out loud.

Ace didn't listen to him. His focus was on Luke now, and it wasn't going off until he spoke his mind. He got up from his chair.

"That's really all it took then, wasn't it? Just one day, no, not even one day, a couple of hours with her...that's all it took for you to forget about what we had? Or used to have?" Ace stated aloud.

Everyone in the classroom, including Alice, and even Mr. Cross, was listening on the conversation now.

"No! I mean, it isn't like that...Ace, can we just talk somewhere else..." Luke had started out strong, but once he realized everyone was watching, he toned his voice down a bit.

"You said you wanted to talk, so let's talk. Are you afraid everyone's gonna find out our little secret?" Ace asked.

Luke didn't say anything. Ace continued.

"Well, for anyone just tuning in...yes, I am gay. Homosexual. A fag. Whatever you wanna call it. I've also been secretly dating Luke here almost since he came to this town. We've spent countless time periods together, and shared a lot of fun memories...but now, I'm starting to believe none of that was true..."

He stopped and looked at Luke.

"Luke, you say you lost all control when you kissed Alice. Was it because you had just realized you weren't completely gay, but just bisexual? Was it because it was so beautiful that night and you both were stuck on the highest Ferris wheel cart, giving you the privacy and comfort to just go crazy? Was it because she looked so pretty in the moonlight, and your basic instincts just completely took over and caused you to not just kiss her, but slip your tongue into her mouth too? Guess what, Luke? These are all lame, awful, pathetic, FUCKING EXCUSES!" Ace shouted. His eyes were starting to water up, but the rage in them burned like an angry fire towards Luke.

Luke was in the same state, only he wasn't angry. Just scared, and ashamed. Ace wasn't finished.

"(Sniff)...the only thing that's for certain now is that at some point, when you were with her yesterday, you forgot about me. You forgot about us. You forgot about the memories, the places we went, the love we had...it was all forgotten. I'm happy it's so easy for you to forget everything, but guess what? Its not easy for me...You have no idea how much I wanted this, Luke...I wanted this so badly. When you walked in the door that day, I didn't know who you were or where you came from, but I just had a feeling about you, and I was pretty sure I was right to think you might just be the one for me. As we spent more and more time together, I started to realize my thoughts on you were right. You always had one more thing in common with me, and we never were bored when we were together. Whenever I felt sad or down, I knew you could always bring me back up and put a smile on my face. No one understood me like you did. You helped me cope, you helped me get through some of the toughest days. What you've done...throughout everything...well, now I see what it all really was. A lie."

"Ace...no..." Luke said weakly, staring into Ace's eyes with his tearful ones.

"HAHAHAHA, oh bravo, bravo!" I voice in the back of the classroom boomed.

Everyone, including Ace and Luke, were now looking back to see who had just muttered the comment.

It was Trent, the rhino. He was now standing up, clapping with his large hands.

"That couldn't have been better. Ya know, I knew you guys had something goin on, and I told everyone in the class bout it too. They didn't believe me though, cuz they were scared of the truth. Well, I ain't scared of the truth. In fact, I spit in the truths face. And the truth is, ladies and gentlemen, that are good friends here, Ace and Luke, are complete faggots and buttfuckers. I'm glad they admitted to it too; it was so obvious. But what can you expect from fags these days? You put em both in a school, a classroom, and a team where they take public showers together, and you're gonna get some lovin going on. I wonder what the quires are gonna do next? Maybe they'll kiss and make up for us, or maybe, they'll realize what great love that have and butt-fuck each other right in front of us! Or better yet, maybe-

POW!!!

A flash of movement came about in the classroom; in one moment, Trent was standing there, bloating, the next, he's flying in the air, heading towards the ground to slam it with his fat, enormous body.

Ace had delivered a direct punch to Trent's face, though it took everyone a few seconds to realize who had done it. He had moved so fast, Trent's reaction time couldn't even have come close to seeing what had come.

"That was for all the furs that were, and still maybe too scared to come out because of ugly, ignorant fucks like you."

Ace walked over to his desk to pick up his things. He turned to Luke.

Luke looked right at him. Ace had the same expression as he had in Luke's dream. And just like his dream, Ace was gone before Luke could do or say anything about it.

Everyone took a minute to get back into a settled mood.

"Okay, let's continue on, shall we?" Mr. Cross declared.

Trent had just now gotten up, his nose bleeding.

"Aren't you even gonna fucking do something about him?!" Trent asked, surprised at the teacher's actions and angry about all that had just gone down.

"What do you suppose I do Trent? He is a very good student that passed his semester exams with flying colors, so technically he doesn't really need to be here to complete the rest of the course. If I was to suspend or expel him from the school, he probably wouldn't even care. This is just wasting time; let's get back to the lesson."

Trent made a sort of growling noise as he walked towards the door.

"We'll see how the principle feels bout this, Mr. Cross." Trent threatened.

"Oh please, Trent. If you think you're gonna try to get me fired, you've got a pretty imaginative mind. Besides, I didn't see you get hit at all."

"... What the fuck are you talking about? I'm bleeding you bastard."

"I don't know, I'm pretty sure you slipped...my memory's a little hazy, though. Students, if you think Trent slipped and caused his own nose to bleed, raise your paw please.

Almost everyone in the class raised their paws up with glee.

"ARRGGHH!!" Trent griped again as he left the room, and slammed the door closed.

Mr. Cross quickly opened the door. "Hey, don't worry. Even if the principle believes us, I don't think we'd win the fight. It would be our word against yours, and since you're such an honor student, I suppose the principal would listen to you more."

Everyone in the class laughed. Even Alice got a chuckle out. When she did, she turned back to see how Luke was doing. He was not smiling, but had his face buried in his jacket, trying to rub off tears and to find a place to be alone.

The whole day Luke had to try his hardest to trudge on without breaking down. He was able to get through the rest of English without talking to anyone because Mr. Cross allowed it. Luke's art teacher also could see he wasn't in the best of moods, and he let him be for the class period, also.

Luke was now at lunch, sitting at a table, alone, with no food. He couldn't eat right now. He could barely think. Ace's words just kept playing back in his head like a record player, and Luke wasn't able to stop it.

"Hey." A familiar voice in front of Luke said.

It was Alice.

She sat down close to Luke. She didn't buy a lunch today, but instead brought her own, in her Hello Puppy pink lunch box. She pulled out an apple.

"Apple for your thoughts?" She asked Luke with a small smile, and tried to hand him the apple.

"What do you want?" Luke murmured, trying to find a good reason why Alice would even want to look at him right now.

"Well...I thought about a lot of things last night. I thought of how awful it was for you to do what you did, under the circumstances...but also that if you hadn't kissed me first, then I probably would have done it too. And either way, we would end up in the situation we're in now, where Ace doesn't really wanna talk to either of us. The only difference is that in the reality standpoint, I should be mad at you. After seeing what Ace exhibited in class, though...I can see you guys really have something..." Alice stopped and looked down.

"Don't you mean 'had' something?" Luke murmured.

"No. I mean 'have' something. You of all people should see it, but Ace...he's not over you. Sure, he's hurt...but that doesn't mean he wants you out of his life. I can still see a certain...glow in him, when he talks to you. Even when he was angry, I could see deep inside he really cares and he just wanted you to know how much it hurt."

"Hmmff. I wish I could see it like you could. All I saw in class was a scarred fur that didn't deserve what he got, and the one that made those scars deserves worse." Luke said lowering his head.

"Ugh...Luke, do u you know why he told you those things?" Alice asked.

"It made him feel better to point out what a piece of shit I am?" Luke answered with a question.

"No...so you could fix everything."

Luke's eyes opened at Alice's words. He raised his head.

"I wish that were true." Luke said, trying his best not to give his hopes up.

Alice got up and put her paws on Luke's shoulders.

"Luke! Stop wishing! Wishing isn't going to help anything! Listen, if you don't try to make this better, you're gonna regret it. Even if I'm wrong, and Ace really just doesn't want to deal with you anymore, at least you can say you tried. You'll be damned if you don't, but you may not be damned if you do." Alice declared.

Luke thought about her words. She was right. Why are women always right, Luke thought. He needed to have the piece of mind that when he went back to California he wouldn't have any regrets in Arkansas. He figured he would just tell Ace exactly how he felt, how he was still madly in love with him, and how his feelings for another fur would never get in his way of Ace again. He wasn't giving anything to hope, expecting nothing but the worst. For if he did, he knew it would obliterate him when Ace would leave him for the last time.

"...Okay, I'll try to fix things." Luke finally responded.

"Hooray! Now, Ace obviously isn't here anymore, but I don't think he's gonna miss the championships just because of all this, so I suggest you talk to him before the game starts..."

"Alice?" Luke asked.

"Yeah?" Alice answered.

"I'm truly sorry for what I did. I'm not going to lie and say I don't have strong feelings for you, because that kiss did mean something to me, but if there's one thing I know, it's that nothing can overtake my bond with Ace. He is my life now, and I will never be complete without him with me. I'm disgusted with myself that I put you in that position of vulnerability at the park, and I hope you can forgive me in time. I cherish your friendship, and I want it to last." Luke said. He tried to not make it sound so cheesy, but there was really no other way to say it.

"Hehe, that sounded so cheesy. Don't worry. I completely understand what you have with Ace now, and I could never forgive myself if I stood in the way of that. That's why I want you two to be happy and make up. Let's just hope Ace feels the same way." Alice said.

"Yeah, let's hope..." Luke said. He remembered he wasn't going to hope for anything to happen.

I guess a little hope wouldn't hurt, Luke thought, as he sat down and ate the apple that was offered to him.

The rest of the school day was uneventful, though Luke didn't mind. All he wanted was for the bell to ring, signaling school was over, so he could go to the game and find Ace, try to talk to him, and, hopefully, fix all the problems that had risen from last night.

The sound of beating drums, drunk teenagers, mindless parents, and screeching cheerleaders over polluted the Madison High School field (this is the rival's field, where the game was being held) as Luke looked over the crowd to find his parents when he was supposed to be "seriously practicing" with the other soccer players before the game started. After Luke had found them, and gave them a wave, he searched for Thomas. After him, he searched for Mr. Cross, who had stated he'd be at the game, too. He found this the easiest way to divert his mind from the fact that the game was supposed to start in less than 9 minutes, and Ace hadn't even shown up yet.

BONK!

"Luke! Get your head out of your ass and start practicing!" Coach yelled at Luke, after he had gotten hit in the head with an incoming ball.

Luke couldn't concentrate, and just decided to give up on practicing completely. He didn't believe he needed it anyway.

"Coach, I'm gonna take a breather. Get my head cooled off, you know?" Luke called to him from across the field.

"Fine, but don't let me see you slacking off in the game. We can't afford to lose." Coach called back.

Luke then ran over to the bench his team was sitting on. On the way he realized how bright the lights were beaming down on the field, and how dark the sky had already gotten.

Luke reached into his gym bag to get a drink of his water, when he noticed his phone, blinking one of its lights, indicating someone tried to contact Luke.

Luke picked it up and saw the caller's name: ACE'S HOME

Luke dialed the number.

"Hello?" Ace's mother answered.

"Hi, Mrs. Lyle, this is Luke. Did you call me?" Luke asked.

"Oh yes! I wanted to ask you, is Ace at the game?"

"Not that I can see." Luke asked.

"That's so strange...because he's not here either..." Mrs. Lyle's voice traveled.

"What?" Luke asked.

"Yeah. He didn't come home from school either. He took his car this morning, and I figured he went to the game with you, and I just wanted to make sure of it, so I called his number. I didn't get an answer. So then I tried your number, and, well, here I am. You don't suppose you have any idea where he could have gone, do you?"

"Umm...I...I don't know..." Luke tried his hardest to think about where Ace could be at this point.

"I'm really worried, Luke. He seemed so depressed when he came home from the park, and he didn't look any better when he left for school today. I tried comforting him, but he wouldn't talk to me. I need you to think a little harder Luke...I don't want my baby getting into any trouble..."

Then Luke got it. Ace was upset. He didn't want to talk to anyone. He needed to think. He needed peace and quiet. There was always one place Ace could count on to be that place he needed.

"I know where he is, Mrs. Lyle. Come to the game with your husband, and I'll try to be there with Ace as fast as I can." Luke stated, and he shut his phone before Mrs. Lyle could thank him.

Luke swiftly ran off the field before any of his teammates and coach could see him leave.

While he ran, he flipped his phone up again and dialed Alice's number.

"Hello?" Answered Alice, in a loud voice, since that's the only way she could hear herself talk with all the shouting going on.

"Where are you on the bleachers?" Luke asked, speaking loudly as well.

"On the fourth level to the farthest left. Why?"

"I figured out where Ace is. I need your car to get him."

"Here, I'm passing you the keys as you run!" Alice said.

Luke didn't realize it, but he had already gotten to the left side of the bleachers and was about to pass Alice as she threw her keys in his direction.

Luke barely caught them, but when he did and he turned around, Alice was giving him a thumbs-up and a smile.

Luke returned both gestures, then quickly turned around, closed his phone, and ran to the parking lot to jump into Alice's car to look for his lover and, hopefully, fix everything that had went wrong.

Well, well, well! Getting real close, aren't we? Looks like Luke knows where to go, now we just need to see if he's got a plan to make everything right again. Sorry for not posting a new installment of my other series, like I said I was going to, but I've just REALLY gotten back into Senior Soul. I don't exactly know when ill post the next one, but if everything goes good it should be soon! Until then, I hope you enjoyed the story and have a fantabulous day ;)
