Yuji and the rest headed to the pokemon center to check in and get rooms for the night. Yuji gave the little pikachu a scrtich behind the ears which made the little fellow about melt" well since your going to be part of the team your going to need a name, how bout Raiden. Where I am from he is the god of thunder and since your move types are electric I thought it would fit you" never in your life have you seen such excitement from such a little pokemon as he bounced and hugged Yuji's head [really, a cool name too. I am glad I found you Yuji] Yuji gave him a hug best he could since he was sitting on his shoulder" no worries buddy, let me get you registered." He pulled out his pokedex and added Raiden to the list." Hey Solara, meet Raiden your newest teammate" the little fire chic pokemon turned around and smiled as Raiden hopped down to join her to talk and make friends.
Yuji snickered knowing the tow should get along fine. He walked up to the counter seeing nurse joy he smiled" I would like to reserve a room for the night Joy" she turned around and about squealed seeing yuji's out and about. She only saw him when he snuck into town for clothing or other things he might need" yuji it is good to see you out and about, thank you for dealing with plasma they were causing trouble and the police found they had been kidnapping pokemon." Yuji growled hearing that" joy let me introduce you to my mates, Star and Ranko Saotome." That made joy squeal even more hearing his last name" you found your family?" yuji shook his head." No joy my birth family is dead, you know I was raised by a family of lucario right?" she nodded her head yes" no Saotome is the name I chose so not to have rocket hunting me after finding out I am alive. They killed my birth family. So I started my own clan here. Star and I grew up together and Ranko I have known all my life" joy smiled and prepared a keycard for yuji's and his group and had already given amber her key for her room" ok guys lets get our gear to the rooms and go shopping for the rest we need." that had everyone cheering. As they headed upstairs to put their things up.
They met out front about 30 minutes later." Ok I do need to get some clothing not only for me but for star as well. I am going to get a few things for Ranko so when her change occurs she will have something to wear." Amber blushed a bit as her thoughts drifted away and onyx brought her back down to earth getting her attention. [Amber are you ok?] He asked. She nodded" I am fine onyx, just daydreaming a bit." With everyone together yuji looked about and nodded" ok first stop the surplus place this way we can get clothing and gear for our adventure."
Amber was feeling rather strange, she knew she had feelings for onyx but she also had feelings for Nintaku. Now he was here in person and it felt a bit awkward. Onyx had to shake her out of her daydream again [amber do you want to talk about it, you know I am here for you.] she sighed "yes I think I best talk to someone about this onyx." She sat down by the changing room with onyx as yuji and the girls were trying clothing on and gathering gear" onyx I want to be honest I have feelings for you and have for some time, the problem is I have feelings for yuji too and I do not know how to act on the second, the first is rather easy" as she leaned down and kissed onyx, that revelation was a bit shocking to him at first but he returned the kiss and hugged her [amber I have always loved you, my love for you grew since I was born and evolved into something more. Remember though Yuji is by all means a lion. Not just his anthro form but his Pride] he pointed to star and Ranko [he is not limited like a human anymore, of course he had been raised by lucario they do mate for life but are not limited to one mate. Ranko told me before we left; it seems there are a lot more hybrid and half-breed folk out there so the human rules we just have to watch. I very much doubt that yuji will ever let harm befall any of us I can see that much from him in the way he acts] amber smiled and hugged the Riolu again" thanks onyx, your right I should not jump into this too quickly, I do not know if yuji even returns my feelings." She did not know that she was talking loud enough for yuji to actually hear her and that made him blush a bit as he though to himself ‾I had a feeling she did when we were writing to each other, but to have it confirmed by her even if she did not mean it means she become tied to me so long ago, course I can not deny that I care about her very much but as with all new joining it will take time and she is right we should not rush it. If it happens then the bonding was a true soul bond‾ he smiled and kissed star then Ranko and spoke in a very soft whisper to their ears "I know whom the human is now but I think they were a bit off since she is not totally human."
Ranko smirked as they kept hunting for clothing as she picked a few Chinese dresses. ‾Xian always had good taste in clothing‾ Ranko thought to herself and whispered into yuji's ear" ok you got my interest piqued, who is it" yuji whispered back" Amber, and this is a bond that never got to take since we were in other worlds. It may happen since she and I are in the same place, and I will admit I had a bond forming with her as we talked, so if she maybe a new bond that was meant to happen if we ever met here, you know as well as I things might have gone different if my birth parents here would have survived" Ranko got a smile" no worries love, I have never had a problem sharing you, but I would talk with star as well and let her know" yuji nodded and chuckled at ranko's selection of dresses" ok love, by the way nice choice, you like I found a place that clothing in our tastes" she nodded with a toothy grin " yup and just wait till you see star, she found the silks like we like to wear" yuji laughed " well mine have morphed to a more black and gold. They are more durable that anything we have ever gotten before." He swatted her on her furry rump as she walked to the changing room to try on what she found.
Yuji looked about as he was hunting for a few things for amber to wear on her feet but give her the feel like she was still barefooted, he spotted star in her silks and gave a wolf whistle which made her blush" looking good there star, they breathable enough for you. They do have lighter versions for summer" star smiled back at him and walked to him, she was wearing a blue sleeveless shirt, the blue matching her fur and a black pair of silk drawstring pants, she had the tags with the other things she was buying. Yuji smiled now seeing she was in the spring versions not to heavy but not too light either and she found a pair of Chinese slippers for her feet. "Good choice you look good, it matches your fur tones very well." He kissed her then whispered into her ear" seems the human one is amber, but it seems we had formed a bond in my first life during our emails back and forth. They just never became solid till we got here." Star blinked a bit "your sure yuji" he nodded" if it happens I wanted you to know, my love for you will never diminish just like with me and Ranko. I wanted to be honest with you since you know this is going to be very interesting if all my soul mates show up here, you are alpha female in our pride so I will let you know as the show up" star giggled and kissed him" well that is good I know it is going to get weird love, but I have to say we were both raised to accept having multiple mates. Besides I think fate set it up either way you would find one of us" yuji smiled" yes I was thinking the same thing love, thanks for understanding" he hugged her and then goosed her" besides if I think is happening is it will be a little bit but something does have to happen first if my hunch is right" she squeaked at the goose and stuck her tongue out at him" ok love let me make sure this other stuff fits before we move on to camping gear."
Yuji called Amber over to where he was for a moment. She was shocked and a little nervous as she was just talking about him with onyx not too long ago. When she approached him he waved her over by the shoes and slippers and that made her feel a little relief." Ok let's get you fitted for something on your feet. I told you I had a solutions for that and slippers are the answer" he gave a sideway smirk in which she blushed a bit and nodded to him. He chuckle and patted a stool beside him in which she walked over and sat down on. The then looked at her feet for a bit and saw the thick skin on her heel and ball over her feet" ok good thing I too like keeping my feet on the dirt and since living out in the wild with only moccasins for foot wear but found adding some wurmple silk for padding did help with sharp objects, now I will make you a pair of knee hi moccasins but I have to get the supplies to make some new ones for now a pair of slippers made about the same way should help with the feeling and also keeping your feet protected." She blushed even more hearing he would make them for her he was already caring for her as she had dreamed those many months ago. Yuji saw the blush and whispered in her ear "I like you too Amber" at that she turned deep red a bit embarrassed but her heart was a flutter as she thought to herself ‾he likes me too‾ he smiled and looked in her eyes" let time tell us if our bond was meant to be as lovers and soul mates, but I think you need to solidify another bond one that has been with you for a lot longer than we have known each other through our letters." She stopped and nodded giving yuji and hug and a soft kiss on the cheek" thank you yuji for everything, and your right onyx just admitted to me he loves me earlier" yuji smiled" just as I have my alpha mate so do you so just make sure he is ok with you and me." He smiled giving her the box with the slippers." I think you should pick up some other clothes so you have enough to keep in a pack." She nodded and started browsing and yuji stood back up and gave onyx a thumbs up" nice going onyx" he knelt down in front of the little Riolu" I am glad you told her how you feel, she needs not only you but the confidence it gives her and I also told her my feelings but also said she needed to be with you for a while then let the bond between us grow as it is meant to be. Meaning if it happens then it is cool but she still needed to get your ok first." Onyx smiled, Yuji saw his as alpha mate to amber and let onyx take the lead [thank you Yuji you do not know how much what you said means to Me.] Yuji chuckled" oh just between us, I over heard you all while I was changing. My hearing is amplified by my Ki use. It helps all of my senses. Heck I do not even have to see a location to be able to see, taste, and feel a location before I have to be there" the Riolu blinked [Ki? Is that what we cal aura] Yuji nodded" yup and you will be able to use it like me in a few years, you will just have to build your stores of it within you" that made the Riolu bounce a bit as he was very happy to hear everything he just heard.
About an hour later everyone came up to the front counters. Star and Ranko each had a pack that would fit them, Yuji made sure Amber and Onyx had one as well. He also made sure they had a cabin tent that would be able to house them all with out too much of a deal and Yuji was impressed with the way tents were made here one this realm. They even had attachment for heat and cooling all run by solar power; he wished other realms were that smart they would have little trouble in the field. The cooking gear was gathered as well as food stocks for at least a month split between them. As the cashiers rung everything up yuji told them it was all together and he would be paying for it all, the cashiers nodded as he went to them one at a time and paid for each checkout they used, Ranko helped star and onyx pack as yuji walked amber through packing her first pack and what was the best way to distribute the weight so it did not hurt her as they walked. He then helped her put her pack on as he one handed picked up his own and slung it onto his back then walked over to help Ranko and star. Amber helped onyx with his. The manager walked over to Yuji and motioned him to come over so they could talk privately. Yuji nodded and walked over. He now wore a black sleeveless Chinese shirt and a pair of black cargo pants with his moccasins laced up to his knees.
Yuji walked over" thanks Charles, glad I could bring a bit of business your way" Charles chuckled" no sweat Yuji. You have always come by, but I have to say I never thought I would move so much in one day" yuji laughed" you knew I would be going on my journey soon, is that why I found the things that would fit an anthro" Charles nodded" good thing I did too, I am amazed by Starsha's transformation, when did she transform?" yuji laughed" actually a few days ago, you do realize she is my mate right?" Charles nodded" that was not hard to miss from both star and Ranko, I guess she may transform next?" Charles asked. Then yuji nodded" I do not understand it but considering they are we can not have children if she doesn't" that made Charles blink and then smile" well congrats, I am glad you found happiness, I will keep the supply lines open then seems that the officers from earlier are hoping it happens to their pokemon partners. They enjoyed being able to talk with them with out the language barrier." That made yuji grin since he was planning an idea" well I do not know about them becoming anthro's but the communication issues I am going to solve soon enough I just have to make the translator device, I will keep in touch with you about its progress. I think this could be a world wide thing if they move, so you want in on this deal?" Charles was not stupid something like this would sell like hotcakes as the barrier between human and pokemon has always been about the language." Oh defiantly, your going to need supplies to make the prototype and I just so happen to have some older communications equipment that are like a headset." Yuji smiled "that would be perfect, to start I might have to do it in pairs. This would give a better chance of a good translation till I can set it so that it is small enough to fit on a collar. You have the battery operated equipment to do the electronics work?" he asked. Charles nodded handing him a hip pack with two headsets and the extra components and circuitry "perfect it does not add too much more weight to what I have. And that is 150 pounds in the pack alone" Charles blinked." Just how strong are you Yuji?" he asked and Yuji picked up the casing from one of the howitzer rounds" would you miss this?" Charles looked at it and shook his head no" got tons of them and no one is intersected in spent 88mm casings" yuji nodded picking it up one handed then crumpled it into the size of a basketball" quite strong I train with star and spar very heavy with her" Charles blinked standing a bit dumbfounded" good lord, you could have broke up those plasma fools with force if you wanted" yuji shook his head" yes I could have, but that would not have been the right thing to do and would help plasma label me as a much larger threat than I want them to know until it is too late." Charles shivered" damn they must have gotten on you bad side a long time ago" yuji nodded" yes they did and I already know team rocket is hear as well in Unova, now they I have a blood feud with for killing my birth parents. Right now plasma is loving to get under my skin as I do follow a code to protect pokemon, hybrids and anthro's after being raised by my lucario parents I see things in a very different light so for now plasma will be exposed for the frauds and criminals they are, until they decide to attack me directly then all bets are off" he strapped the hip pack on and patted Charles on the shoulder" let me get on the move, everyone is going to get something to eat then we are heading to bed. Early start in the morning to reach the docks by evening time."
