Somewhere inside at the abandon diamond mine, several royal guards from canterlot were walking through the mining tunnels, searching for a wanted criminal that escape from prison. The leader of the royal guard use a map to check each tunnel his team have went through, so far they haven't located the criminal yet, but with some gather information from wittiness that saw the wanted criminal went through these old mining tunnels, they had no other choice, but to continue on. While the royal guards continue searching for the wanted criminal, somewhere at one of the tunnels they walk by, a diamond dog with prison chains around it arms was looking by the side corner of the tunnel and spying on the royal guards. Seeing that the royal guards were finally gone, the diamond dog had the opportunity to escape, since it was plan to attack them head on, but since the royal guards had more numbers to fight back, it figure to stick in the shadow and keep on running away. the diamond dog was started to walk down through the dark tunnel, knowing it was hard to see, thanks to it sensitive dog nose, the diamond dog had no problem to move around. After walking through the dark tunnel, the diamond dog finally find a light at the end of the tunnel, which lead to an open area of the diamond mind. The diamond dog was relief to find some light and it could see again, it look around to make sure that the royal guards didn't follow it trail. When the diamond dog done looking, it head towards the cavern walls and start smelling something important it looking for. After a quick few smells and tapping on the walls, the diamond dog was able to find a soft spot, which it been looking for a long time. The diamond dog look around the ground to find a rock to use, once it found one the diamond dog use the rock and start smashing the soft wall. A few times the diamond dog hit the wall, at first it didn't do that much, but with great effort, the dirt on the wall gave up, which show an open entrance. When all the dirt on the wall was gone, diamond dog was standing in front of a secret entrance, which lead to somewhere only the diamond dog knows about. When the diamond dog was about to walk into the secret entrance, a strange light appear out of nowhere, which made it hard for the diamond dog see where it going. The diamond dog turn around and notice that the light was coming from a distance by the other side of the caver, it had no clue what it was, but the diamond dog figure it had to hide somewhere, or else get caught by the strange light. The diamond dog hid by a large boulder and stay there for a little while, the diamond dog didn't look, until the strange light was done. Once the light was gone, the diamond heard some voices that it never heard before, it look to see who it was and notice two young ponies appear out of nowhere. The diamond dog notice the two ponies were a stallion Alicorn and a normal earth pony mare were laying atop one another, it had no clue of how it got here, but guess they weren't royal guards since they look young. The diamond dog notice behind them was a strange looking machine, it never seen an odd device, but all it care about seeing a shining looking crystal was inside of it. The diamond dog was too busy looking at the crystal, until it overheard the two ponies started to wake up and one of them scream then kick the other pony, which crash landed on the ground hard. The diamond dog look that the Alicorn was trying to get up from the ground, then the earth pony walk towards the Alicorn to help. The diamond dog over hear them talk and see what they up to.

The earth pony finally reach for the Alicorn side and see if he was doing alright from the fall.

Tira Shark: oh sweet Celestia, are you alright Fester, please tell me that I didn't hurt you that much.

The Professor: don't worry Tira I'm *when he try to get up, he felt a little pain on one of his legs, which force him to fall on the ground* darn, I think I sprang my right leg a little.

Tira Shark: *she walk right next to him and check his leg* your right, you really sprang your leg, I don't think you be walking on it for a while. I'm so sorry Fester, this is my fault, if I knew that you was on my back, I would kick you like that

The Professor: don't blame yourself Tira, I must the already sprang my leg when my teleporter device landed us here.

Tira Shark: speaking of here, where are we exactly?

The Professor look around their surrounding and notice that they were in some kind of cavern. He did his best to get up to check his teleporter, but thanks to his sprang leg, it was hard for him to get up right. Tira stand by his side once more and help him to walk a little better, The Professor started to blush a little, but did his best to hide it from her. When they walk by the teleporter device, the Professor look at the machine and notice that there was something wrong with it. He look at the coordinate and saw that the teleporter took them somewhere else, instead of where they meant to be. The Professor look use his magic and look at the coordinate charts once more and figure out where they are, Tira look at the cavern and spotted something that caught her interest. After examine the charts, the Professor finally figure out what going on and explain his best to Tira.

The Professor: I think I figure out where we are Tira, it look like the teleporter took us to an abandon diamond mine, which is several miles away from nordwhood academy. I know we should be at the proper place you wanted to go, but with the proper calibration with the machine, we should be at the right place in no time. *he look behind him and notice that was gone* hey Tira, where are you

Tira Shark: I'm over at the other side of the cavern Fester, I think I found something cool.

The Professor: what is it that you found cool?

Tira Shark: why not come over here and see it yourself.

The Professor: but how, I sprang my leg

Tira Shark: you're an alicorn remember

The Professor: oh .... Right

The Diamond Dog notice that the alicorn was using it wing to fly over to where the earth pony is. The diamond dog wasn't pleased that the two pony spotted it secret entrance, it wanted to stop them from going inside, but didn't want to lose it hiding place. The diamond dog continue to stay hidden and watch more of what the two ponies are doing.

The Professor finally reach Tira Shark side, after trying his best to fly from the other side of the diamond cavern, the Professor took a few breath of air, since he haven't use his wing for a long time. Tira Shark did her best not to laugh at her friend, but some of her giggles were loud and Professor was able to hear them.

The Professor: come on Tira, it not that funny, you know I barley use my wings that much.

Tira Shark: I know Fester, but maybe now and then you can try to fly once awhile

The Professor: ..... Sigh, whatever you say Tira. So what you was able to find that look cool?

Tira Shark: while you was looking at the teleporter device, I was able to find this strange looking tunnel on the wall.

The Professor: *he examine the tunnel and notice something different with it* it doesn't look like an ordinary tunnel Tira

Tira Shark: I figure I wasn't the only one that though so, it must be some sort of entrance that lead to somewhere.

The Professor: more like a secret entrance

Tira Shark: how can you tell?

The Professor: by the look by the side edge of the wall, it seem like this entrance was open recently.

Tira Shark: open recently?

The Professor: yes, which mean that someone must the been here before us and I'm not sure if that someone is either hiding in the cavern or went inside the secret entrance.

Tira Shark: then I guess we have one thing left to do

The Professor: and that is?

Tira Shark: let check out this secret entrance and see where it lead to

The Professor: but Tira, what about the *he was cut off when he felt Tira punch him by the side*

Tira Shark: come on Fester, aren't you curious to where this lead to

The Professor: but

Tira Shark: and don't forget of whom you're talking to, I'm one of the toughest pony in the nordwhood academy and I haven't met anyone that ever defeated me yet.
