#4 of Sunbaked
The cave was in an uproar that morning during the strong fight between a very territorial Gave and Crystal. All the while a strong and very well mannered yet very tired warrior wizard was wandering up the mountain.
He considered himself to be of average build and normal size, not very fit but fit enough to get from point a to point b. The only thing that seemed to keep Quagsir Bloodwarth mostly knows as Sirblood.
Sirblood fancied himself a master of the arcane spells and unarmed attacks made him very taming friendly and as so he was of to make some friends with a dragon.
Gave and Crystal where trying to out do each other on decoration and hoard as the two raced to make their side of the lair the better. With Derhith just sitting there doing nothing but watching these two utterly tired themselves.
Sirblood had now managed to reach the mouth of the cave and peered on with more than mild interest as two large dragons where scrambling back and forth over claim sake of the cave. And watching with a humor at the fact that the mantra in his head was I am going to get a dragon I am going to get a dragon.
Crystal felt something was out of place although she was not going to slow down to see what and lose to Gave as he was quickly getting even with every thing she did and would pass her up at a moments notice.
Ok now was long enough time of waiting and Sirblood decided to find someone to talk to so he just walked inside the cave where he actually stumbled a crossed Derhith and landed face first one the cold cave floor.
Derhith taken back did nothing but laugh at this and the strange man's attempts to right himself.
Sirblood just gave up on trying to stand and flipped over to star at the howl laughing lycane that sat there.
Sirblood basically just blurted out "Sorry for that it has been a long day and well I got a bit clumsy," then forcing himself to go on "Name is Quagsir Bloodwarth most called Sirblood."
Derhith just sat and looked Sirblood over average height 6' slight muscular build and dressed in traveler's cloths no weapons and no tense mussel in his body. Sirblood had light skin and was currently sun burnt. He had brown hair and hazel eyes with no sign of fear.
Derhith looked over her shoulder and off to the cave entrance where the two dragons where fighting each other with minor scrapes and little childish slaps. She then looked back at Sirblood who seemed content to sit there and watch. Then for some reason he got up.
Sirblood got up and walked over to the two scraping dragons. His seemingly growing presence made the two dragons stop and look down at him.
Gave glared angrily and shouted "What do YOU want you filthy human?"
Sirblood unfazed just looked back up "Okay one I am NOT filthy and two who said I was human?"
Sure enough Sirblood stood there and shifted from his human form into his dragon form in which he was a fiery ruby red dragon standing a good two feet taller that Gave. Sirblood looked just like the other two dragon and had a slightly stronger build than Gave.
Gave seemed to shrink where he stood as he recoiled from what he thought would be a hard hit for that blatant insult. Sirblood just stood there looking down at the two and seemed to bask in a new comfort that was all of its own. It felt good to have wings again and to be able to hold them up and free.
Gave kept waiting for the blow to come as it was customary as a reply to an insult. Sirblood just looked down as he patted Gave on the head saying "Not your fault you didn't know."
Derhith just cursed her luck finally someone her size had come up here and it was ANOTHER dragon. Well at least he was a strong looking drake.
Crystal should have been able to see him coming but she was busy fighting with Gave. Another male dragon maybe this was her lucky day.
Sirblood looked over to Crystal and then asked "So what is wrong with her?"
Gave replied looking ashamed "Some problems I had with a paralyze spell."
Sirblood walked over to Crystal and placed a calm and red glowing talon on Crystal's forehead as he worked his health magic on her.
Crystal gave a couple coughs and sputtered out her first word in days "Thank you elder."
Sirblood just smiled and walked to the cave entrance and took off flying. He soars up and did some aerial stunts then flew back down to the cave entrance reverting to the human form as he landed.
Then Derhith feeling like she could push her luck today walked up and jumped in his arms as if he could hold all of her weight. And Sirblood did with her legs over one arm and his other arm against her back she laid firm in his grasp.
Something made Sirblood decides to stay and wait it out with the two fledgling dragons. And maybe have a little fun with the femme wolf.
