It was a typical Tuesday at Oakfield Middle School. Cubs were filtering in, dropped off by parents and the incoming school buses, and making their way through the halls to home room. Sophie glided through the halls, the golden retriever girl paying no mind to the various boys whose heads turned her way. She wasn't interested in any of them. Which, naturally, only made them more eager to court her affections.

As she reached her locker, she found a bear cub leaning against it. He was fairly wide set, clearly older than her. She recognized him almost immediately as one of the eighth graders, a football player. It was clear to the pup that he wasn't moving.

"Excuse me," Sophie said, smiling sweetly. "But I need to get into my locker."

The bear smirked and chuckled. "Pretty little thing like you needs a big strong man to take care of her."

Sophie's smile faded, turning quickly to a frown. One of THOSE boys again. "I can take care of myself. Now get out of my way," she said, crossing her arms and fixing him with a death glare.

"Feisty. I like that," the boy said, leaning in. "Tell you what. One little smooch, and I'll move."

A small crowd of cubs was gathering around, and a collective ooooooh rose up at the boy's proposition.

Sophie was having none of it. "Or, how about this: you move, and I WON'T kick you in the balls."

A chorus of giggles rose from the surrounding cubs. The bear's smile faltered, but he quickly recovered, approaching the girl. "Come on, baby. You know I'm the boy for y--"

His words were cut off as the air flew from his lungs. Sophie had landed a knee right in the family jewels. The bear gasped, his eyes going wide as his paws moved in slow motion to cup his injured genitals. Without even looking at him, Sophie pushed him aside, and walked up to her locker as though nothing out of the ordinary happened.

"Ooooooh, man, Derrick, that chick got you GOOD!" another boy cried.

"Shut up," the bear squeaked as he stumbled away, his paws still covering his wounded pride.

The golden retriever made quick work of stowing her coat and changing out her books for first and second period, pausing only to take a quick peek in her mirror and adjust her hair. Kicking that stupid boy had caused a bit to slip over her muzzle, and she couldn't have that. When she was satisfied, she slammed her locker closed, and proceeded down the hall, a little extra sway in her hips, and her smile just a little brighter. It felt good putting those stupid jocks in their place.

By the time she'd made it to home room, the other cubs were already whispering about what had just happened out in the hall. Sophie ignored the turned head and went right to her usual seat by the window. Almost immediately, three of her friends descended.

"Like, oh, my gods, did you, like, really kick Derrick Sutherland in the nuts?" asked Angela, the giraffe girl leaning in almost uncomfortably close with her long neck.

"You know he's, like, the quarterback of the football team, right?" said Samantha, the mouse girl leaning in almost as close.

Sophie shrugged. "When the football team starts winning games, maybe I'll start to care," she said.

The other girls giggled at that, but quickly regained their composure. After all, there were more important matters to grill the golden girl about.

"But, like, seriously, Sophie, aren't there ANY boys in school you're interested in?" asked Alexis, the poodle girl subconsciously adjusting her hair even as she did her best to focus on her friend.

Ugh. All of this boy talk drove Sophie mad. But this was a good chance to plant that seed... that silly little plan of Becky's. If she let slip that she was interested in Martin, her friends would make it happen. She'd seen it happen often enough, even just a month into the school year. Worth a shot, right?

"Weeeeell," Sophie said, staring down at her notebook as she picked up a pencil and idly doodled. Got to make it look convincing.

A collective gasp rose from the three girls around her.

"So there IIIIIS a boy!" Angela hissed, the giraffe girl positively shaking with glee. "Who who who?"

"Yeah, who's your secret crush?" whispered Alexis.

"Spill!" hissed Samantha.

Now was the time to plant the seed. "Weeeeell... I guess that wolf boy Martin is kinda cute," she said.

For a few moments, the other girls were dead silent. In unison, Angela and Alexis broke out into uncontrollable fits of giggles.

Samantha, however, found less humor in it. She leaned in and whispered, "Martin? Like, that soccer player? Come on, you can't be interested in that... field fairy, can you?"

"Why not?" Sophie shot back. "He's cute, slim, certainly got more brains than the entire football team combined..."

The other two broke into renewed giggles at that. Samantha was unconvinced. "Come on, couldn't you find someone... I dunno... cooler?"

"Oh, come on, Sam," Alexis said, giving the mouse girl a playful shove. "You gotta admit, he IS really cute! And I date a soccer player, too!"

"We should totally set you two up!" Angela said, giving an excited squee. "Finally we can get you a boy!"

Sophie rolled her eyes, though with her downturned head and the girls distracted with their own giggles, none of them saw it. "Guys, it's only a month into the school year. It's no--"

"Exactly! It's been a whole month, and you're, like, the only girl in class who doesn't have a boyfriend yet!" Alexis said.

The golden retriever looked up at the poodle. "The 'only' girl in class?" she asked, putting heavy emphasis on the word 'only.'

"Well, you know," Alexis said, pawing at her hair.

"The only pretty girl!" Angela filled in for her.

Samantha sighed and buried her head in her paws for a few moments. Clearly, the mouse girl didn't approve of Sophie's taste in boys. But when she brought her head back up, she was all mischievous grins. "Well, then, I guess we'll have to set you up, then."

Mission accomplished. Now to let nature run its course...

Down the hall, Martin was taking some ribbing from his own friends for his lack of a girlfriend.

"Come on, dude," said Kendal, the cheetah boy giving Martin a playful punch on the arm. "You don't still think girls have COOTIES, do you?"

Martin sighed and rolled his eyes. "No, I don't think girls have cooties. I'm not a baby. They're just all so... ugh!"

"Seriously? Not a single girl you're interested in?" asked Trevor, the antelope leaning in from his backwards seat on his chair.

"Trevor, stop leaning on your chair! You'll break it!" came the stern voice of the teacher, the pink squirrelfox looking up from his paperwork just long enough to make eye contact with the antelope.

"Sorry, teach!" Trevor called as he leaned back, letting the front legs of his chair hit the floor again. "But come on, Martin," he said, his voice quieting down to keep the conversation between the three. "Anyone? Any girl at all."

Oh, how the wolf wanted to just throw out an offhand 'no!' He knew he couldn't do that, though. He needed to get them off his back. Not just his friends, but all of the other damned girls who kept hitting on him! Girlfriends were like force fields protecting against other girls, and while he still wasn't keen on the idea that Becky had proposed, it was worth a shot, right?

"Not a girl I'd have a chance with," Martin said, leaning back in his chair and looking up at the ceiling.

Trevor and Kendal exchanged glances. That was the first time Martin had even expressed any sort of interest in a girl, and now they needed to know.

"Who is it?" Trevor asked.

"It isn't one of those cheerleaders, is it?" Kendal asked, starting to laugh. "Oh man, if it's that Sophie girl you've got the hots for, good effin' luck, dude. That chick's cold!"

Martin sighed, doing his best to look love struck, even as he was inwardly cringing at the thought. "Well, yeah... it is her."

The cheetah's laughter died away instantly. "Oh, crap, dude. I think you're outta luck there."

Trevor rubbed his chin. "Maybe not..."

Kendal looked over at the antelope, an eyebrow raised. "Whatchoo talkin' 'bout, Trevah?"

"Not funny, dude," Trevor said, giving the cheetah a little shove. "But, yeah. You might. Mike's dating one of the cheerleaders, right? That poodle girl. And she seems pretty tight with Sophie. Maybe we could see if she could be his in!"

The cheetah threw his head back and laughed. "Yeah, like THAT'S gonna happen!" he said.

"Wanna bet?" Trevor shot back.

That shut the cheetah up quick, his face quickly switching to business mode. "How much you wanna bet?"

"Five bucks?" the antelope offered.

Both boys shared a little chuckle at that, and Kendal held out his paw. "You're on, dude. Five bucks says there's no way Sophie'll go for Martin."

The two boys shook on it, and Martin couldn't help but to grin. It almost hurt knowing that the cheetah was once again entering into a bet that he was going to lose, but he certainly wasn't going to say anything. The pieces were in play. Now it was just a matter of time...

* * * * * * * * * * * * *

Friday's lunch period could not have come soon enough. With the district's first round of testing already upon them, the students wanted nothing more than to get away from the classroom for a precious thirty minutes of relief.

As usual, Sophie found herself at a table with a bunch of her cheerleader friends. But unlike usual, their topic of conversation wasn't boys. No, today they were sniping other girls.

"Ugh, can you BELIEVE that fat rabbit is sitting with that fox?" Alexis said, idly playing with her hair with a paw.

"Pffft. Rabbit? More like COW!" Samantha said, starting a chorus of giggles around the table. She was oblivious to the fact that Sophie alone remained unmoved.

"I know!" Angela said, the giraffe girl lowering her neck toward the other girls. "I hear she needs two chairs to hold her butt!" she whispered, earning another round of titters from the girls. All but Sophie.

"And what about that bat girl?" Alexis chimed in. "Is she, like, goth or something? God, she has, like, NO fashion sense!"

Samantha sneered. "Go back to MySpace and cut yourself over there, gods," she said, tossing her hair back.

That was the last straw. Sophie pushed her chair back and stood up, grabbing her tray. "Those are my friends you're talking about," she said, and began to walk off.

Alexis and Angela looked mortified. But before they could say a word, Samantha burst out in derisive laughter.

"Your FRIENDS? Girl, you need to find a better group to hang out with than those losers!" she said.

Sophie ignored them, and navigated the lunch room to the table in the corner where the rabbit, the bat, and the fox sat. Without a word, she laid her tray at the seat next to Becky's and sat down.

As the golden retriever sat down, the rabbit trailed off mid-sentence, turning to face the girl, her eyes widening. "Uh... hi, Sophie," she said.

Tanya leaned forward, looking around Becky at the puppy girl. "Sophie? I thought you said you never wanted to be seen around us in school?" she said.

"I changed my mind," Sophie replied, shutting her eyes as she resumed eating her meal. "These tests are sooooo annoying, aren't they?"

"They're the WORST!" Becky said, shrugging off their friend's sudden appearance. "I can't wait to just go home and be done with them."

On the other side of the table, Robbie sighed and buried his face in his paws. "Am I officially the biggest freak in school yet?"

"I think you've got competition for the biggest," Sophie said without missing a beat. "But I'm probably the biggest LOSER right now, sitting with you guys."

The rest of the table went silent. Sophie opened her eyes and grinned at the girls next to her. "And right now, I wouldn't have it any other way," she said.

"I'm not sure how to feel about that," Becky said, raising an eyebrow as she looked at the golden retriever.

"Just roll with it," Sophie said, and leaned toward the rabbit to whisper, "You know I love you guys." As she slipped back toward her seat, she glanced over at Robbie. "Well, maybe not you so much, but I don't know you. No offense."

"None taken," Robbie said, and he sighed. "A table of girls... damn."

Becky giggled softly. "You should totally get to know him, Sophie. Robbie's cool. I've been friends with him since before I'd even met you!" She leaned in and whispered, "And you ARE gonna be dating his boyfriend."

Both canids groaned at that.

"Ugh... don't remind me," Sophie muttered.

Robbie only sighed and stared down at his plate. So much was going through his mind right now, but he absolutely couldn't talk about it with the girls. Well, Becky maybe, but certainly not Tanya or Sophie.

"Ok, ok, geeze," came a familiar voice from over the fox's shoulder. Robbie twisted in his chair and looked around, his eyes widening as Martin stumbled over with his tray. "Uh, hey, Robs," Martin said, purposely ignoring the girls at the table. "Um... mind if I sit with you?"

The fox pointed at the chair next to him, which, with the round tables set up in the cafeteria, happened to put him between Robbie and Sophie. He watched as the wolf sat down. It made him feel just a little less awkward to see that Martin seemed to be just as uncomfortable as the fox was, even if the wolf was doing a slightly better job at hiding it outwardly.

"Hi, Martin," Becky said, beaming at the wolf. "What brings you here?"

"Oh, you know, chillin' with my bro," Martin said, throwing an arm around Robbie's shoulders and pulling the fox in. He released the fox almost immediately when he saw how dejected his friend looked. "You doin' ok, buddy?"

"Fine, fine, everything's great!" Robbie said, putting on an obviously forced smile. "Just, ya know... having lunch... with a bunch of girls..."

"Oh, come on, we're not that bad!" Becky said. "And you know I'M practically a boy!"

"Except for the clothes," Martin chimed in.

Becky giggled. "Watch it, wolfy, or I'll have to hand you your ass in a game."

"Bring it, bunny!" the wolf replied, sticking his tongue out at her.

Sophie rolled her eyes. "You boys and your video games," she said.

"Oh, you're just jealous 'cause your parents won't buy you video games," Becky said.

"Whoa, really?" Martin said, staring at Sophie as though she were some alien life form that he had only just set his eyes upon.

Sophie groaned. "Yeah... something about how it's 'not lady-like' to play video games." She screwed up her face in disgust. "At least Becky and Tanya have some."

"Geeze, you should come to my place! I've got tons of games," Martin said.

"Is that an invitation?" Sophie said, batting her eyelashes at the wolf. Her paws were under the table, gripping hard at her legs. Gods, this was painful.

"What?" the wolf replied, staring at the golden retriever. It took a few moments for what he said to catch up with him, and he let out a little yelp, blushing profusely. "Umm... maybe? I guess..."

Under the table, Becky kicked Robbie's shin. The fox started, looking up at the rabbit. Becky tilted her head, indicating the two canines sitting next to them, and held up her paws, bringing them in together, then leaning to her right, towards Sophie. Robbie blinked a couple of times, but nodded, leaning a little towards Martin as Becky leaned in towards Sophie.

Becky casually slipped one paw behind Sophie and held up her other paw, holding up three fingers. The fox likewise put a paw on Martin's back, and watched as Becky lowered one finger, then the second, and finally...

It wasn't the smoothest move, but it got the job done. At Becky's cue, she and the fox gave their friends a little shove toward each other, causing the two canines to collide. Martin and Sophie each yelped as they suddenly found themselves half out of their chairs, held up only by each other. Their faces burned as their noses touched, and they quickly recoiled, getting back into their chairs.

"Robbie, what the hell?" Martin hissed as he righted himself, glaring at the fox.

Robbie pointed over at Becky, and mouthed, "Her idea."

The wolf whipped around, and found himself nose to nose with Sophie again. Here he paused, his eyes darting from the grinning rabbit to the golden retriever. Her eyes were clearly trying to look star struck, but betrayed her discomfort. At least he wasn't alone.

"Give her a kiss!" came a male voice from a few tables away.

Martin was torn. His gut reaction was to whip around and tell... was that Kendal? It sounded like Kendal. He wanted to tell him to go screw himself. But he knew he shouldn't. He needed to make it look convincing. He needed to do this, to get his family, and his friends, off his back. Even though it was the last thing he wanted to do.

"Yeah! Kiss, kiss, kiss!" came a female voice.

This one caused Sophie to flinch, if just for a second. That damned giraffe. She brought a paw up to her muzzle, blocking hers and Martin's from view of the rest of the cafeteria, as she whispered two words. "Sorry, Martin."

With that, she reached forward with her other paw and grabbed the back of Martin's head, and pulled him in, closing the last few centimeters between their lips until they touched. She shut her eyes, hoping and praying that the boy would just go with it, her tongue playing at his lips. 'Don't let him mess this up, please...'

To the golden retriever girl's relief -- and disgust -- the boy responded. She felt his paw reach up and grab the back of her head, his other paw going around her shoulders. His lips parted, and his tongue slipped out to greet hers. It was quick and sloppy, even by sixth grade standards, but damn if it didn't get a chorus of "ooo's" and "aaah's" from the rest of the cubs in the lunch room.

Just as quickly as it began, the two broke their kiss. They each tried to hide their disgust and horror, and thankfully, most of the lunch room had already lost interest.

Martin glanced around the lunch room, then leaned in to Robbie and whispered, "Robs. Bathroom. Recess."

The remainder of the lunch period flew by for the cubs. Not a moment too soon, the bell rang for recess, and the majority of the cubs streamed out to the playground for recess. Among those who weren't making a beeline for the door... were Robbie and Martin.

As soon as the bell went off, Martin grabbed Robbie's paw. While most of their classmates went right for the door outside, the wolf dragged the fox in the opposite direction, down the hall toward the bathrooms. Robbie let the wolf drag him along, too shocked to oppose his desires.

Once they were in the bathroom and headed toward the stalls, Robbie finally found his voice. "Martin, what are you," he began.

The fox was cut off by the wolf slapping a paw over his muzzle. "Shh," Martin said as he pulled the chubby fox into one of the stalls. He shut the door behind him, then dropped down to his knees and unzipped the fox's pants, his paws working quickly to get the vulpine's jeans around his knees.

Robbie gasped as he found himself half naked in front of his boyfriend, the wolf desperately pawing his sheath to tease out his member. "Martin, we can't!" Robbie whined.

"Shut up," Martin hissed between licks at the fox's genitals. "I need this... that girl... ugh!"

Despite his vocal protests, the fox's body was responding rapidly. It took mere seconds for the wolf to coax him to erection, and as soon as his flesh exposed itself, it was buried in the wolf's wanting muzzle.

Robbie grabbed onto Martin's head, gripping his ears. He wanted to pull his friend off, to tell him how risky this was, to reject the advance. "M-martin... i-if we're caught..."

Martin pulled off the fox's cock with a slurp, and looked up at him. "Then cum for me fast," he hissed. "But dammit, I need this!" he said, and resumed sucking the fox's cock, his tongue working the fox's shaft like it were a rare delicacy that he wanted, no, NEEDED, to consume as quickly as possible before the opportunity passed him by.

It quickly became clear to the fox that the wolf wasn't going to give up until he got a load. He squeezed the wolf's ears tight as he began to hump his boyfriend's muzzle. If he couldn't convince him of how bad of an idea this was, he might as well do his best to give Martin what he wanted as quickly as he could.

Despite what the fox might have imagined, and perhaps a little against his will, he was getting incredibly turned on. In just a couple minutes of sucking, his knot was swelling up, his shaft twitching. Robbie may not have been able to say it, or even acknowledge it, but he needed this just as much as Martin did.

"Martin... I-I'm gonna... ah!"

Robbie bit down hard on his lip as he ground his hips forward. His orgasm hit him like a truck, fast and hard. His cock twitched in the wolf's muzzle as he spilled what felt like far more seed than he'd ever shot before. He barely noticed when Martin pulled back, choking slightly on the sudden explosion of spooge. The fox's cock continued to squirt undeterred, leaving a few wet trails across the wolf's muzzle.

The fox didn't have long to recover. His legs were still twitching from his orgasm as Martin stood up and kissed him on the lips. Robbie could taste his seed on his boyfriend's lips. As the wolf pulled back, Robbie flopped down onto the toilet. He watched in disbelief as the wolf slipped from the stall, and stood up, pulling his pants up with him, tucking away his still-sensitive but softening dick, and followed him out.

"Martin... wait!" Robbie hissed, scared to death that another cub might enter the room.

Martin stopped at the door, and turned as Robbie ran into him. The wolf hugged the fox, then whispered in his ear, "This didn't happen... I'll be at your place tomorrow... I need you."

Robbie looked at his boyfriend, dumbfounded. He could only nod.

The wolf grinned and grabbed the fox's paw, and dragged him from the bathroom. As they exited, they ended up coming face to face with Sophie and Becky as they retreated from the girls' bathroom.

The four cubs froze, staring at each other. Martin and Sophie locked eyes, and slowly raised their paws.

Sophie spoke first as she pointed at Martin's muzzle. "You have, uh... stuff... on your..."

The wolf responded in kind. "Umm... so do... you..."

Both pups squeaked and ran back into the bathrooms, leaving the rumpled fox and rabbit behind.

Becky broke the silence with a giggle, and closed the distance between her and Robbie, grabbing the fox's paw as she did. "Guess you had fun too, huh?" she whispered.

Robbie blushed and nodded. "Umm... yeah... guess so..."

The rabbit girl giggled as she started walking down the hall, dragging the fox boy with her. "Let's leave them to clean up for now," she whispered. "Unless you wanna try to play now... I know a couple places around school we could go..."

"I'll pass," Robbie said, turning his head slightly to hide the slight blush on his cheeks.

"Your loss," Becky said, giggling as she leaned into the fox.

As the two cubs made their way down the hall to the school yard, one of their classmates ran in, making a mad dash for the bathroom. He paused as he saw the two ruffled adolescents, his need to pee temporarily forgotten. "Eww, were you two fucking in the bathroom or something?" he said, barely suppressing giggles at his own joke.

Robbie blushed. That was the last thing he had wanted to hear. But at least it was delaying the other boy from running to the bathroom before Martin had cleaned himself up.

The rabbit, however, didn't miss a beat. "Of course we were. I'm a rabbit, he's a fox. It's only natural," she said, beaming as the boy's grin quickly faded to a look of shock. "We had a quickie in the stalls. You're just jealous that you can't get as much pussy as a fat fox."

The boy covered his muzzle as he started to giggle again.

Becky was about to respond, when she heard the sound of an adult clearing his throat behind her.

"Excuse me, young lady... what was this about a 'quickie' in the bathroom?" came the stern voice of the school principal.

"Principal Fletcher!" Becky squeaked, both her and the fox whipping around. "Uh, nothing! Just a joke!" she said, giggling nervously as she looked up at the imposing figure of the panther.

Mr. Fletcher had his arms crossed, his dark brown suit only serving to make the panther look larger and more intimidating. "I had better not hear you 'joking' about that again, or I'll have to call your parents. Understood?" The two chubby cubs before him nodded, shrinking under his glare. "Good. Now get back to recess," he said, turning around and heading back down the hall toward his office.

The two mortified cubs stared down at the ground as they made their way back to the school yard, the sound of their classmate's barely-suppressed giggles echoing around the hall.

"Relax," Becky whispered as they reached the door. "Everything'll be fine." She gave the fox a quick hug, then went out the door to join her friends.

Robbie lingered a bit longer, then followed her. He didn't want to think about the rumors that were going to start after that little incident. And more than ever, he felt torn, between Becky and Martin. 'Guess me and Martin both have 'girlfriends' now,' he thought. 'Great. Just fuckin' great.'
