A Day Trip to the SHIFT Institute

A rare look into my fursona's backstory, here we find one of our lucky winners meeting the saberwolf at his place of business, the SHIFT Institute. I'm sure I'll probably come up with a better name for it later, but right now that's what I got. Not only was this one a fun one to write but it also provides an inside look to how Serathin can do the things he does and be the things he is. :P Enjoy!

Artemis Alexander belongs to souldice

Edited by texotic

Artemis blinked as he suddenly felt... different. He had just gone into the local coffee shop in order to get himself some breakfast before he went to work, but as he looked around he suddenly found himself in a circular room made up entirely of metal walls, save for the door that was a few feet in front of him. The arctic fox tried to take a step towards it, but it felt like he just taken his first step ever and nearly fell forward as a hidden speaker crackled to life. "Please hold your position Mr. Alexander," the voice said, which made him stop in his tracks as he looked up to try and find the source of the voice. "Allow your new body to acclimate before you proceed outside of the fabrication chamber."

"New body? Fabrication chamber?" Artemis replied as he looked around while he continued to stand there. "Did I die and go to a sci-fi movie? Pretty soon you're going to say that I'm about to be de-materialized and teleported to some other part of the ship."

There was no response to his remarks and the vulpine frowned slightly and crossed his arms as he waited there. After a few minutes the door opened, and when he stepped forward once again he found his balance much more stable than before as he continued to walk out of the room and into the hallway. Unlike what he had imagined was on the other side of the door, his futuristic ideas were dashed by the rather normal décor present. Shrubs and couches lined one side of the hall while the other was filled with doors like the one he had just stepped out of. The only indicator of advanced technology were the television screens spaced along the wall, all of them with the words S.H.I.F.T. Institute on it that rotated slowly around.

"Artemis Alexander?" A voice said next to him that caused him to nearly jump back as he turned to see a strange creature grinning sheepishly at him. "My apologies, I didn't mean to frighten you. My name is Serathin, I'm a draconic sabrewolf and I'm here to accompany you on your day at the Shift Institute. I know you probably have many questions, but I think it would be best if we walked and talked since we have much to do and increasingly less time to do it in."

The arctic fox eyed up the exotic creature for a second before he reached out and shook the other male's hand before Serathin began to walk down the hallway. "So about those questions," Artemis asked as they walked. "It would be nice to know how I went from a coffee shop in my town to this place."

"Oh, you are still in that coffee shop," Serathin replied, which caused Artemis to stop before he was once again prompted to follow. "Here at the Shift Institute they specialize in consciousness transfer among multiple dimensional frequencies, or timelines as we're inclined to call them for easier explanation. So we took your consciousness from your primary timeline, which is the one you experience on a day to day basis, and transferred it to this timeline so that I could fulfill your prize."

"Prize?" Artemis asked. "What prize?"

"Oh yes, my apologies," Serathin said as his sheepish grin returned. "A while ago you entered a contest to win an experience here, and you won! We've actually talked before using a similar process, but that memory was erased from your mind. It's also how I was able to transition you so smoothly this time."

Artemis shook his head as they walked out of the hallway and into an open air courtyard, trying to keep up with what the sabertoothed creature was saying. "So let me see if I've got this straight," he said. "There was a me from this timeline and one from the timeline that I originally came from, and you just... swapped us out? Do I have the me from this timeline walking around as me in my timeline, or am I just twitching on the floor drooling?"

"I realize it can get rather confusing to someone who just started," Serathin replied while he waved his hand over a door and it opened. "Most spend years trying to learn the nuances towards this kind of travel, so let me just answer your questions and leave it at that. You actually didn't have a timeline here, so what you are in is an artificial construct to house your consciousness until you leave. As for your body back in your own timeline we had to do something similar, basically your body is on autopilot for the duration of your stay, though with time dilation and... you know what, let's just skip to the good part, shall we?"

Before Artemis could ask anything else Serathin led him through another door, this one marked with the sabrewolf's name on it as they passed through. The interior was dark until the automatic lighting flickered to life and revealed a circular room filled with screens that lined the entirety of it. Most of them were off, but those that were on showed similar versions of the hybrid in different environments. In the middle of the room was a simple chair that was reclined backwards and surrounded with various equipment.

"Welcome to my hub," Serathin said as he gestured out towards the screens. "Every screen you see here can be anchored to a timeline that centers around me in another world, dimension, or whatever you want to call it. Most are similar to one another and rather mundane, the ones we look at are the extraordinary. Feel free to look around while I get your experience set up."

The arctic fox watched as the hybrid hopped up to the chair and began to work on the computer console that was next to it, then began to walk around the room. Part of him still wondered if he had been abducted in order to have deranged experiments performed on him, but as he worked back what Serathin said, he did remember filling out a slip of paper for something that claimed to be an experience of a lifetime, and as he recalled he realized it was the same coffee shop that he was about to enter. Though the story lined up it only slightly, it put his mind at ease as he curiously looked around at the screens in the room.

"Hey, I thought you said these were all of you?" Artemis asked as he looked at one where there was an eastern dragon on the screen instead of the sabrewolf.

"They are," Serathin clarified while he worked. "I told you these were timelines that are extraordinary, and it seems that, more often than not, my timelines have a penchant for transformation. If I were to turn these all on you would suspect that you were just watching random creatures, which is why only certain ones are active. I must have just changed in that timeline, though, since I was trying to make them all have my untransformed self."

"I swear this place gets stranger and stranger," Artemis said as he noticed one screen in particular that caught the corner of his eye. "Is there a room like this for me?" As Serathin began to explain the intricacies of setting up a hub for someone and then anchoring timelines, the vulpine began to approach a screen that was covered with a sheet and had caution tape around it. Something about it drew him towards it, the hybrid's explanation mere background noise as he slowly reached up and despite the warning voice in his head pulled down the sheet.

What he saw on the other side caused him to gasp; the screen was almost completely black save for a pair of glowing, green eyes and the crackling of bright green electricity on tentacles that framed its snout, which had a pair of sabreteeth gleaming. The creature seemed to stare straight at him as two flower-petaled tentacles rose up, each of them with an eye as well as a strange, pleasurable heat began to radiate through his body. As Artemis continued to stare at the creature he began to hear whispers that beckoned him to move closer. Soon everything else fell away as he found himself reaching up to it, his fingers trembling as they got mere centimeters away from the oddly slick screen while the creature opened its maw and exposed the writhing, glowing flesh within...

A sudden pressure on his wrist and the application of the sheet snapped Artemis out of it as he saw Serathin holding him away with one hand while the other readjusted the covering. "Sorry about that," the sabertooth apologized as he let go of his hand and ushered him further away. "There are some creatures that are not to be trifled with, and that is certainly one of them. Even with just my psyche exposed, I have found that some experiences can change you to the very core of your being."

Serathin pointed to his green, reptilian pupil eyes to emphasize the point before he led Artemis onto the chair. "So I have everything set up for an introductory experience," the hybrid informed the arctic fox as he motioned for him to sit down. "Luckily you had an alternate in the area that I could steer towards me, so once you transfer consciousness to your new body it should be pretty apparent where to go. Now once everything gets started you're going to feel a floating sensation, followed by a pulling that will be somewhat jarring the first time it happens. Just relax and go with the flow and everything will be fine, any questions?"

"Many, actually," Artemis replied as he laid back on the chair and heard the whirr of the machine powering up. "Though nothing in the realm you're wanting, except maybe wondering how I let you talk me into this in the first place."

"I can be very persuasive," Serathin winked at the arctic fox and then pressed a button the console. The room went completely dark save for the small central platform they stood on where the light grew brighter, and as it did Artemis began to feel the floating sensation that the hybrid had mentioned. It was as though he was having an out of body experience as he continued to float upwards into the light. Before it grew too bright he managed to crane his head and look down, his eyes widening when he saw himself lying there with his eyes closed as though asleep.

Before Artemis could even think of doing anything he felt a violent pull on his chest and the next second he was rocketing through space surrounded by scintillating colors. He couldn't help but scream as he was catapulted through the abyss until suddenly there was another bright flash and he felt himself on solid ground once again. Unlike before he knew he was standing, and as he looked down at himself he saw he had on robes that he would see wizards or mages in video games wearing. On a whim he held out his hand, and without much effort a ball of glowing light appeared in it.

"That's so cool..." Artemis said to himself with a grin. "I must be a mage in this timeline, which means magic exists in this world." The arctic fox raised an eye and looked around when he realized that people were looking at him and he quickly closed his hand around the light to extinguish it. He made a mental note to try out more later when he remembered the task at hand, to find the Serathin of this timeline and make contact. It wasn't hard for him to figure it out, one of the buildings had a sign hanging from it with a sabertooth head on the outline of a bottle.

As the arctic fox walked into the door he was greeted with the pleasant smell of herbs and flowers as the bell above the door rang. "I'll be right with you!" a familiar voice called out from the back. "Feel free to browse!"

Artemis just shrugged and began to walk around the small shop. The shelves were filled with a variety of liquid-filled bottles, a clear indicator that the sabrewolf ran some sort of apothecary or alchemist shop. As his hands grasped the bottles he was amazed at how... real everything felt, he had sort of expected the experience to be a video game, yet everything was just as sharp as the reality he left. Just as he was about to check to see if he had any currency to try a bottle out, he heard movement near the back of the shop and looked up to see the draconic sabrewolf staring at him with a smile.

"What can I help you with today?" Serathin asked as he rested his elbows against the counter.

"Well I think I'm starting to finally wrap my head around the whole timeline thing," Artemis stated with a grin that faded slightly when he saw the hybrid look at him in confusion. "Serathin?"

"Yes?" Serathin replied. "If you're talking about magic or something like that I'm afraid I'm just an alchemist, I was not gifted with your abilities. I do mix a pretty mean potion though, or so I've been told, so if you're not sure what you want, I could guide you."

"Well you are the expert, so I'll let you wow me," Artemis replied glibly as his brain worked out what was happening. He was reminded of what the sabrewolf had said about switching psyches and he quickly realized that the Serathin he had met earlier did not make the trip with him and he was speaking to an entirely different person. All those thoughts were quickly shoved to the side; however, when Serathin moved out beyond the counter and revealed his lower body.

"You're a naga?" the arctic fox pointed out, which caused the creature to chuckle as he coiled up on his own unnaturally shiny serpentine lower body. "And is that... rubber?"

"One of my first experiments with my master left me significantly altered in both body and tastes," Serathin replied as he stuck out his forked tongue, his reptilian eyes looking over the slightly stunned vulpine before his snout split into a small grin. "You know, I think I have just the thing you might be looking for. Why don't you follow me to the back where I keep the... less conventional stock."

Despite his reservations Artemis found himself following the creature into the back of the shop, where various pieces of equipment were set up for the distillation and production of potions. The naga hybrid paused for a moment and the arctic fox watched as he unlocked a safe, then pulled three small vials out of them before he shut it and continued to move. Beyond the alchemist lab was a reinforced steel door that Serathin unlocked with a key, ushering him in first before he followed behind and locked it behind them. The room beyond was filled with soft, spongy padding, and even though he was new with the feeling of magic, he could sense something was active in it as Serathin looped around him.

"So I saw you admiring my body," Serathin admitted as his voice grew soft and low, a sibilant hiss heard as he lowered his body until he was face to face with the arctic fox. "Those who normally come into my shop are often just looking for something in particular or would take one look at me before they'd go back to browsing. Anyone who shows interest in my form, like you for example, I'm more than happy to show my alchemical... specializations. I consider it a gift for those whom I see... eye to eye with."

Artemis couldn't help but stare into the glowing green eyes of the naga as Serathin's words soaked into his mind, the arctic fox swaying slightly with his motions as he rocked back and forth. "What... sort of specializations?" he asked, though the words he wanted to speak were hard to focus on. Part of him wanted to know about the room they were in and the potions he took out of the safe, but as the naga hushed him, it grew harder to think with the echoes of that smooth hissing in his ear.

"You'll see..." Serathin replied as he uncorked the first vial. "I knew from the second I saw you that we'd be here, and that you'd let me work on you. Now just relax and let me take care of everything, no need for you to do anything else but listen to my voice and follow my words."

As the arctic fox felt his entire body begin to go limp he had a momentary fear of falling before he felt the strong coils of the naga wrap around and support his body. His body continued to relax against the muscular but still supple body; the rubber scales rubbing against his fur as Serathin continued to whisper in his ear. At this point it was hard for the enthralled vulpine to understand what was being said, but deep down his subconscious soaked in the commands as he felt the hard coolness of glass press against his lips. As the sabernaga slowly tipped up the vial and dumped the contents into his muzzle he found himself swallowing the liquid, a cool minty taste dancing on his tongue as it ran down his throat.

"I find the best part of this type of alchemy is the ability to watch the change," Serathin stated as he rubbed a hand down Artemis' ear. "Of course you can't do that if you've got those lovely, albeit obstructing robes in the way."

The logic made sense to Artemis, and even though other thoughts tried to form, his attention was once more drawn to the sabrenaga around him as his hands reached down to pull off his clothing. As his clothing fell away from his body he could already feel the potion taking effect inside him. His skin tingled as his underwear fell away and revealed his cock was already erect, though more importantly the flesh gleamed unnaturally in the light. His latex rod throbbed hard at the sight of it and he was so transfixed on it he could see the fur around it begin to melt into a solid latex. "Looks like I was quite right on your preferences," Serathin chuckled as Artemis could feel himself blush.

As more of the latex assimilated his body his head was turned and his vision was once more filled with those swirling, hypnotic eyes that quelled his arousal, but continued to keep it burning as a second potion was dumped down his throat. This one tasted fruity as he smacked his lips, which had turned a dazzling white as more rubber spread over his muzzle. Even though it was hard to see he could feel something change in his mouth, and when he stuck out his latex tongue, he found it thinner and forked. As the second alchemical concoction began to saturate his system he felt the coils that had propped his limp form up shift underneath him, keeping his body exposed enough for him to watch as a pattern began to appear on the newly acquired latex.

"Look at you," Serathin cooed as he stroked Artemis' enthralled face, the transforming fox's eyes starting to swirl with multiple colors as he felt the sabrenaga's power continue to seep into him. "My lovely latex lizard... you just love serving me, don't you?" Artemis' mind tried to protest he was a fox, but it was hard to think of anything but such a body as his muzzle grew and his nose disappeared into a pair of slit nostrils.

"Yes..." was all Artemis could hiss as he felt his tail thicken and grow heavy as it grew into a muscled reptilian tail. In the back of his mind he knew that this was all caused by the hypnotic suggestions and powerful potions, but those thoughts never reached past the sabertooth's words seeped so deeply in his head as he felt something press between his rubberized cheeks. He felt the coils prop him up like a chair with his legs in the air as the serpentine member began to push into him, his transformed insides allowing the bigger male access as his toes wiggled in the air while they turned to lizard feet. As Artemis felt Serathin begin to penetrate him he realized his body wasn't just becoming reptilian, it was also slimming down, his features becoming slightly more feminine while he still maintained the hard rubber member that the naga stroked.

"You're just begging to be used, aren't you," Serathin grinned as his muzzle leaned in closer, Artemis's new muzzle opened in a silent gasp as the last of his vulpine features were taken over by latex scale. "You came in here begging to be my apprentice, wanting nothing more but to be wrapped in my coils as I use my wares on you and your subby body. Tell me, tell me how much you want this..."

"I want you to be my master!" Artemis suddenly called out as he was impaled with several more inches of rubber serpent cock as his hands roamed over his effeminate male form, unable to distinguish from the thoughts implanted by his tempter and his own. "Please use me, teach me how I can pleasure you, serve you! I will be yours for as long as you lust after my body!"

"Very good..." Serathin replied as he uncorked the last vial.

"Are you going to change me again master?" Artemis asked, then gasped and clawed against the rubber coils as they tightened around his body and buried the thick member up to the hilt inside him.

"This one is for me," Serathin instructed before he drank it down. "It wouldn't be fair for a rubber apprentice to not have a similar master, don't you agree?" All Artemis could do was nod as the upper body of the sabrenaga began to transform, the rubber from his coils quickly moved up and coated his upper body as his chest and arms inflated with muscle. The latex lizard was so bound, both in mind and body, he could only watch as the canine head of his new master opened wide and his tongue extended unnaturally far outwards as the back of his head flared out into a cobra hood.

Once he was finished Serathin's head had completely transformed into a proper rubber cobra, save for the saberteeth that pushed against Artemis' muzzle as his maw was suddenly stuffed full of rubber tongue. At first he feared his gag reflex would kick in, but as the wiggling appendage continued its way into his throat, he realized he was rubber inside and out as his neck bulged with the extra mass. The former fox grunted and moaned as he was filled from both ends, his latex form squeezed tight as he felt the cock inside him push even deeper into his malleable form while the sabertooth penetrated him from both ends. Just as they started to get into a rhythm, Artemis able to feel the wave of muscle with every thrust, his vision suddenly started to swim until he blacked out completely, then felt a hard tug at his very spirit...

Artemis suddenly gasped as he sat up in the chair, looking around as he felt a pair of hands grab him on the shoulders to prevent him from moving. "Easy there," Serathin said as he let the arctic fox regain his composure. "I know it's a bit jarring to go from a transformed state back to your old state, just let yourself grow accustomed to your body again and give yourself a chance to breathe."

Slowly Artemis felt his senses normalize once again and looked down at his white and grey patterned fur. After a few minutes Serathin helped him off the chair once his vitals had normalized and guided him towards one of the screens that had been turned off before. There Artemis saw two rubber nagas still coiled around one another, one of them the embodiment of the sabertooth while the other had familiar, albeit rubbery, top half and markings like his own. "So what's going to happen to us... I mean, them?" he asked curiously.

"Well it looks like that version of myself just got a new apprentice," Serathin replied which a chuckle. "Or perhaps your other self will leave shortly thereafter. Either way, they will continue to live their lives as we will ours. Speaking of such things, though, shifting your psyche from world to world can cause quite a hunger. I believe it's time for lunch!"

Even without hearing his stomach gurgle Artemis agreed and the two walked out of the hub and back into the facility proper. Soon they reached what the arctic fox could smell as the cafeteria, and when Serathin opened the door for him, he found his hunch to be correct. As they walked to the line of people waiting for food the hybrid explained that most of the cooks were shifters themselves, and as such they had some of the best and most diverse meals around. When it finally got to their turn Artemis was almost overwhelmed which choice before he got to one station in particular and his eyes lit up.

A short time later the two sat down with their trays, the arctic fox's loaded with Korean BBQ as the draconic sabrewolf ate his shrimp lo mein. "So what did you think of your first foray into a whole different world?" Serathin asked between bites.

"Not what I had thought it would be honestly," Artemis replied. "I was expecting to maybe get a sense of what was going on and have a minimal feel of things like one of those VR games, but to be fully immersed in that..? Unreal. You were also definitely not what I expected."

The sabrewolf grinned sheepishly and Artemis swore he could see him blush under his fur as he rubbed the back of his head. "Yeah, that was a little unexpected," he replied. "Of course I don't monitor that particular life all the time, and when I'm shifted there myself I can't sense what his personality is like aside from some instinctual stuff. It makes me even gladder that I'll be heading with you into the next timeline."

"So we're going to be sharing a chair?" Artemis asked while using a napkin on his face.

"Not quite," Serathin replied with a chuckle. "I'm what you'd call a natural shifter, so I don't need the help of technology to zip around different timelines. Very useful, but makes it hard sometimes to remember what's your timeline when you bounce around. In either case, when you're finished we'll get you back in the chair and get you ready for the main event."

Once their lunch was finished the two cleaned up and walked back to Serathin's hub once again, the arctic fox excited to see what would come next. With the alchemist being the appetizer he could only wonder what the main course would be as the chair was prepped once again. Since he had a few minutes to wait the vulpine continued to watch the screen with his previous foray, smirking slightly when he saw himself taking yet another potion offered to him by the naga. He wondered if he was still under hypnosis or if it was completely of his own free will, but before he could watch any further he was called back to sit down on the thickly cushioned chair.

"Now this one is definitely going to be a little more intense than the first one," Serathin described as he helped the arctic fox relax. "I'm going to shift with you to make sure that everything goes well, but in this particular timeline my instincts can sometimes get the better of me. If you feel like things are getting too much, just think the words 'kill link' and you'll be brought back here instantly, otherwise I'll bring you back after a while, understand?"

Artemis nodded and gave the sabrewolf a thumbs-up, which prompted the other male to do the same before he relaxed his head. This time he was ready for the shift as the room darkened and was able to move faster through the process, and after yet another psychedelic trip, he opened his eyes and found himself in a modern day city on a street that bordered a river. Unlike last time, though, this area appeared to be devoid of people and there was a strange smell of the air, like rubber but not quite as he began to walk down the street. With no clear direction to go he began to walk down the street while looking around for some clue of where to go next.

The longer he continued his journey the more signs of a struggle began to grow evident. There were burned out cars and trash that littered the area, and as he looked up he could see damage on the skyscrapers as well. Just as he was about to turn the corner and head deeper into the city when he heard someone call out to him as quietly as possible. "Get out of the streets, you're too exposed!" a figure said from the shadows of a nearby building.

Artemis looked around before he ran over towards the corner of the building where he saw a tiger man in military grade armor peeking around the side with his rather large rifle. "I thought they got all the civvies out of here when they shut down the region," he said as he looked the fox over. "What's your name, son?"

"Um... Artemis," the arctic fox replied as he got behind the tiger.

"Mine's Caldinfyre, though most call me Cal," the soldier replied as he stood up. "As much as I'm happy to see new survivors, I'm not happy about having to bring you all the way back to a safe zone. If I give you my GPS could you get back on your own? The area should be clear behind us, unless the bastards happen to circle around here."

"Safe zone? Survivor?" Artemis asked in confusion. "What the bloody hell happened around here?"

The tiger turned and looked at him, his muzzle turned up in a similar look as the vulpine. "Are you serious?" he asked, Artemis nodding in reply. "Damn, I didn't think there was anyone out there that was still in the dark when it came to the Corruptor. As much as I would love to give a history lesson, which I wouldn't, we are too close to the hot zone to be having this conversation. Now you take my GPS and-"

As the tiger reached out with the electronic device it leapt from his hand and smashed against the wall. The soldier looked wide-eyed at the wall, then both turned their head to see the origin of the shot. On the river that the arctic fox had just come from they saw a boat drifting on it with strange creatures on it, one of them looking through the scope of a sniper rifle while the others looked on. While their exact forms were hard to distinguish, the gleam of their skin made it clear that these creatures were covered from head to toe in rubber.

Cal screamed to run and bolted down the street with Artemis following suit, but before they could get very far, several more of the creatures came out of the shadows and ran after them. The soldier tiger fired off several shots but was quickly mobbed and taken down by several of them. The arctic fox didn't get much further as he felt something wrap around his ankles that caused him to fall forward. He hit the pavement with a loud grunt, and as he tried to turn himself over and stand up, he saw that whatever it was that took him down was still wrapped around his ankles. A shadow fell on him as he reached down to pry it off and when he looked up he saw the glowing green eyes of a rubber wolf that easily picked him up and hoisted him over his shoulder.

As the captured vulpine was carried further into the city he could see Cal continue to struggle; the tiger's arms and legs were bound, and a muzzle covered his mouth. The image quickly pushed away any thoughts of resistance for Artemis, plus with the rubber theme of his captors he had a feeling that this is where he was supposed to go. They were eventually brought into what used to be an arena, the windows and walls had been completely converted to shiny latex and it seemed to pulsate with a life of its own as they were brought inside. Inside more of the synthetic creatures moved about, and though they all appeared to be different species, most of them had similar stripes on their bodies. Artemis tried to ask a question to one of them but he just looked at him with glowing green eyes before he turned and walked on.

Eventually they were brought to the inside field of the domed structure, though most of what would have identified as a sport arena was now covered in black rubber structures. What caused Artemis to gasp was the figure that sat on the rubber throne, the rubber, draconic sabrewolf grinning evilly as they were brought to the base of the platform. As soon as the restraints were taken off the tiger he made a lunge forward, only to be quickly restrained and dropped to his knees as he snarled. "We're going to stop you, Serathin!" Cal shouted as he spat on the ground, which brought a smile to the sabertooth's lips.

"I would have thought after your first attack you would have learned that I'm more than you can handle," Serathin replied in a dark tone as he stood up and walked down, his large latex wings flared out behind him as he stepped. "It appears not, though I'm not one to complain. Your last batch of soldiers made fine additions, I'm sure you will too. My only question to you is do you give yourself willingly to my corruption of the world, or do you wish to resist?"

The soldier suddenly managed to get the leverage on his captor and pushed them both away before he charged the rubber hybrid with a knife in hand, but his charge was cut short as a latex wing stretched out and enveloped the feline before he got close. Artemis' eyes widened as he watched the membrane press around Cal's body until the arctic fox could see the feline's features every time he stretched it out with his struggle. "I'll take that as a no," Serathin laughed before he turned his attention towards Artemis. "How about you, do you wish to serve my corruption willingly, or end up in my wings like him?"

"I... uh... when you put it that way..." Artemis stalled, wondering what to do until he saw Serathin mouth out what he should say. "I willingly give myself to you?"

"Excellent, some common sense," the corrupted creature replied as he winked at Artemis before he turned to the two that had let go of Cal. "Since your prisoner has been detained why don't you two go and bring our new guests to one of the preparation pods." Before they did Serathin walked over and hugged him, Artemis feeling the latex sabre teeth against his head as his muzzle leaned close to his ear to whisper. "You're going to love this next part."

Artemis was just able to get out a nod before he was dragged off by the rubber wolf and latex lizard, both of them with the same markings as Serathin as they brought him up the stairs. What used to be the box seats for the stadium now contained pools of strange liquids. "Looks like we're giving this one the works," the wolf said with a chuckle as he led him to a pool of bright green, viscous liquid. "Right then, we got a bit of prep for you before we just toss you in like that."

The arctic fox didn't have long to wonder what that meant when he saw the two with a pair of latex arm and leg restraints. They stripped him down naked and Artemis couldn't help but blush when they saw he had already started to grow hard from all the attention. The two commented how he was going to do just fine and placed his hands behind his back and his legs together. The cool feel of rubber pressed against his fur as they bound him in place, Artemis grunting slightly as he had to make sure to keep his center of gravity. The final piece took a little more work, a speedo that was open in the front and had a large rubber dildo attached to the back that they lubed up and slid into him. Throughout the entire process they were surprisingly gentle with him as they finished strapping him up, and once they were done they picked him up placed him in the vat.

As soon as his body touched the liquid he realized it was more of a thick ooze, the heavy liquid clinging to him as he tried to get back up onto his feet. As he flopped about in the shallow pool he quickly found the resinous liquid had a secondary effect to his body as he felt himself squirm in lustful pleasure. The semi-transparent goo seemed to continue to layer onto his body as he rubbed the sensitive flesh of his cock against the slick rubber side of the pool, and the more that was on him the harder it got to move. By the time the two waded in and brought him out, the thick substance had grown so thick on his body he could hardly bend, as though he were completely encased in green-tinted latex that continued to harden as it dried.

All Artemis could do was let out muffled grunts as he breathed through the holes that had thankfully formed in the shell, and as he was moved to a table, he realized that even with the heavy coating he could still feel his captor's rubber paws on him like it was his skin. He had little time to contemplate how, though, as he was able to move just enough to see the wolf take out two rings of black that began to unroll like tape as he tossed one to the lizard. Once again he felt rubber against him as they began to wrap him up in the latex tape, one starting at the head while the other worked his feet. With the bindings and the resin on him the arctic fox could do little as the wolf wound expertly around his head, his tinted vision going to black before he was tilted up to work around his chest.

The arctic fox found himself in a strange sense of building lust as the pleasure from the resin continued to thrum with pleasure against his body, and grew even more intense with the added pressure and sensation from the rubber bandings. They continued to wrap him until they reached his cock, which had been frozen erect, and his squirming intensified as they played with his shaft and wrapped it up as well before they secured it against his body. Once they were done with that they gave him a second layer to completely mummify him once again before they finally laid him back down. Even though his senses were completely blocked off he swore he could see himself in his mind's eye, as though he were floating above himself as he looked down at the rubber fox mummy that wiggled when he did.

It appeared the two weren't done yet, though, and he watched as the wolf lifted his body and the lizard secured what appeared to be a gas mask around his head, which seemed redundant until they picked him up and carried him out of the box and to the rafters. There he saw several sleep-sack like implements hanging there and, as he found himself once more surrounded by darkness, he felt them load his body into one and connect the hoses of his mask to something. He wished he could say something, but the combination of his muzzle completely sealed shut by the multiple layers and the pleasure that still coursed through his system from the stimulation made it hard to even form words in his mind.

When nothing moved for several seconds he thrusted his hips up to try and stimulate himself until he suddenly felt his entire body move once again. His rubbery enclosure tightened around him as the air was sucked from it and caused him to nearly climax from the sheer encasement. The rubber vac-sack, the rubber banding, the resin, the dildo that started to vibrate inside his tailhole... all of it seemed to ooze lust into his system that he couldn't move to get rid of, and it continued to build as he desperately tried to cum. Time and space lost meaning to him as his muffled shouts could hardly be heard by him as he lost sense of everything but lust and pleasure... lust and pleasure...

When Artemis awoke once again in the chair of the Shift Institute he shuddered, still able to feel the rubber against his body as Serathin told him to stay seated while the feelings passed. After a few minutes Artemis was back on his feet and had to adjust his pants before they walked over to a different screen. The arctic fox felt strange looking at what had been himself trapped inside a rubber pod, watching his former body squirm as it was stimulated and corrupted. They continued to watch for a minute or so until Serathin motioned for them to leave, the vulpine once more adjusting himself as they left the hub.

"Whoa... it's night already?" Artemis exclaimed as he looked up to see stars glowing against a black sky. "How long was I in there?"

"Long enough," Serathin replied with a chuckle. "Once you had left my sight I shifted out and watched your progress on the monitor until you were done with the first part. Unfortunately though, that will be the last thing I can show you today, the day pass on that body of yours is about to expire and I have to send you back to your original timeline. It's been fun showing you the ropes though, not often I get to give a tour of my other selves."

"Well I'm sure there was plenty more you could show," Artemis said while he looked around, seeing far fewer people around than during the day as overhead lamps lit the way. "Like that one, what is it... the one with the tentacles?"

"Bal'Kar," Serathin clarified, smirking. "Sounds like our song is still affecting you a bit, that should go away after a while... probably. In any case I also have some gifts for you to remember your trip here; the recordings of your experiences while you were in the other timelines, always fun to look at it, and I did manage to smuggle some of alchemist Serathin's potions as well, though they won't nearly be as potent as before. While I'd love to present you to them now I'm afraid that you wouldn't be able to take them with, luckily I've already arranged it so that they are given to you."

After some more small talk Artemis realized he was back in the same corridor where they had started, complete with the door he had stepped out of that was open. "Well I have to say this was the funnest abduction ever," the arctic fox laughed. "Definitely going to remember today, especially with your souvenirs. "

Serathin and Artemis said their goodbyes, then the vulpine stepped through the door and onto the platform he came on. As the door started to close a question popped into Artemis' head that he called out to the hybrid to wait and listen. "Hey, is there a version of you in my timeline?" he shouted through the shrinking gap in the door.

"You'll just have to watch and see!" Serathin shouted back before the door closed and surrounded Artemis in darkness.

After a few seconds the arctic fox's body was suddenly illuminated by a beam of light and he felt himself floating, then within the blink of an eye he was standing just outside the coffee shop he had originally intended to enter. After he took a few seconds to regain his composure he realized it was less than an hour after he had left, that he was leaving the coffee shop, and his hands was a cup of liquid and a bag from it. He took a sip from the cup and it tasted like the drink he usually ordered, but when he saw inside the bag he saw a thumb drive and several small glass vials that caused him to grin. Before he ran back to his home he looked around the street to see if he saw anyone familiar, but failed to do so before he started off down the sidewalk.

Meanwhile, inside the shop Serathin lowered the paper he had used to hide himself and chuckled as he watched the vulpine bolt from the door. "Looks like another satisfied customer," he said to a second draconic creature sitting next to him, whose black-furred hands and silver claws remained the only thing that could be seen. "Thanks for letting me take one personally, I was really hoping I could. But the fun is done for me for now, it's back to making sure that we're helping everyone else as well..."
