#14 of Rio's Saga

Wherein the situation is explained to the principal, Kaylie learns about her friends, and Kody gets an eyeful.Edited so that Rio's dad doesn't find out about his diapers just yet

"Who is this then?" The principal asked, his associate giving a small head shake in response.

"His name's Dakota," Mike cut in before the stoat could reply, "Like we said, it's complicated. If you're wanting answers though, he's the one to talk to."

The bunny stood in the doorway, every muscle at his disposal tensed and ready for action. For a split second, it appeared that despite Kaylie's reassuring paw the bunny was going to bolt back into the crowd.

"Calm down, son," Mr. Hastings said softly, the big bull slowly settling into a crouch to appear less intimidating, "You're okay."

"No, I'm not," Kody replied tensely, "I haven't been even close to okay for a very long time, and as soon as you're done playing the nice guys you're going to go make a phone call that will guarantee I never get there."

"Come on, Kody," Rio said, stepping forward, "You can't run forever, let us help you. Mr. Hastings isn't gonna call anybody unless you say so," the tiger cub nudged his principle and nodded, "right?"

"You have my word," their principle returned Rio's nod and extended a paw towards Kody, "not a single call without your say so, but in return you have to talk to us."

Wary of trusting the muscular authority figure, Kody looked to his friends, his eyes widening as he realized that they were shirtless and wounded.

"You got hurt..." he said almost to himself, the fight draining from him as guilt chased adrenaline from his system, "because of me."

"No, we got hurt cause Rio can't hold his temper." Mike cut in, giving his friend a playful push.

"No," Kody shook his head and regained his focus, "I'm at the center of this, or you wouldn't have sent Zac to check on me. This is my fault, and since you stood up for me..." taking a moment to steady his nerves, the bunny reluctantly relinquished Kaylie's paw and strode across to accept Mr. Hasting's offer, "I'll stand next to you."

Giving the much smaller fur's paw a firm shake, Mr. Hastings stood back to his full height and motioned towards the open door to his right.

"Now, if you all will head into Mr. Odhran's classroom and have a seat we can get this all settled."

The cubs trooped in and their teacher shut the door behind them, Kody starting visibly at the sound of the latch catching.

"Easy lad," Mr Odhran said, leaning against his desk as the cubs settled into the front row of desks, "Nobody's gonna hurt ye, I can promise ye that."

In response, the rabbit folded his arms and shrunk down into his seat.

"Right then." Mr. Hastings nodded, "Who wants to go first?" Looking from cub to cub and getting no response, he shook his head. "No takers? Okay, we'll start with some basic information. Names, if you please." Pointing to the first in line, he moved down the row, each cub giving first and last name in turn except Kody who only provided his first name.

"Just Dakota, huh? No last name?" The bull inquired.

"If you want my last name, you can look it up." Kody replied, "Besides, it's not important anyway."

"Fair enough. Now, Dakota, would you happen to know why a group of high schoolers attacked your friends?"

"No."

"Right here." Rio raised his paw.

"Alright, Mr. Kendrick I believe, let's here it."

"No, you don't understand," the tiger replied, reaching over and grabbing Mike's paw, "Look."

"What am I looking at?" The bull took a step closer and gave a small smile as he shook his head, "Ah. I think I'm beginning to understand. They noticed your nails and had something to say about it. Okay, that makes sense."

"What about your nails?" Kaylie asked, looking over and laughing as her friends all held their paws out, "Wow, that is so cute! I can't believe I didn't notice that before."

"Well, to be fair," Shayne put in, "You were too busy fawning over Kody's pony tail."

"Can't blame a girl for admiring a good look," she retorted with a grin before turning her attention to her brother, "Hey, I've been wanting to paint your nails for years and you always say no, what gives?"

"I think we're getting off track," their teacher cut in, saving the younger terrier, "if we could get back to the main point?" After a round of apologies from the seated cubs he nodded and focused on Rio. "Alright, lad. A bit of bullying from the close minded is one thing, how did it get to them trying to take yer clothes off?"

"Technically I took my own shirt off, cause one of them had a hold of it and I couldn't get away from him. He's still got it, I think. Tucked it into his pants."

"Alright, and yer pants?"

"Well, that one's... a little bit embarrassing..." the tiger blushed, folding his ears flat against as as he slid his paci necklace over his head and held it out, "They saw this wanted to see if I had any more baby stuff, ya know, like a diaper?"

Taking the necklace by the cord, being very careful not to touch the paci hanging from it, the stoat examined it briefly before handing it back after the bull declined the offer for a closer look.

"Considering the fact that when I walked up ye were in yer boxers, I believe we can say that ye are nae wearing a nappy."

"Naw, just my boxers."

"Do you?" The bull interjected.

"Do I what?" Rio asked, settling his paci back around his neck and avoiding his principal's gaze.

"You know what I'm asking you, son, answer the question."

"Does it matter?" Kody interrupted, glaring at the bull, "He's not wearing one now, so leave him alone about it. What he does at his house is none of your business."

"He's right Alec," Mr. Odhran said, putting a paw on the bull's shoulder to forestall his irritation at the cub's attitude, "If he is nae wearing it, it did nae play a part."

"Fair enough," the principal crossed his arms and returned the glare the bunny was giving him, "Speaking of fair, time to hold up your side of the deal."

"I have." Kody replied, unflinching.

"Oh really? I have yet to get any new information out of you."

"You've asked my name and if I knew why Mike and Rio got jumped. Mike had told you my name earlier, and I didn't know exactly why they were getting picked on. Don't blame me for not giving you information, it's not my fault you're asking me stupid questions."

"That's it, I have had enough of your attitude," the bull said, shaking off Mr. Odhran's paw and heading towards the door, "I'm calling your parents."

"No you're not."

"No?" Turning back around, the muscular bull planted his paws on the desk in front of the much smaller rabbit and leaned over him, "Give me one good reason why I shouldn't. Just one."

"Because they're both dead." Kody said flatly, voice gone cold and hard, staring back at the principle with green eyes devoid of all emotion. "Do you have Heaven's phone number, Mr. Hastings? If you do please call, because I can promise you that I want to talk to them a lot more then you do."

Mr Hastings flinched, quickly straightening and retreating from the sheer tone of defeated acceptance in the child's voice.

"I guess not." Kody continued, talking to himself and seemingly forgetting that there was anyone else in the room with him, "Oh well, they probably wouldn't want to talk to me anyway. Like Chris says... dad'd think I'm a useless, wimpy little pansy... too weak to fight them off, too stupid to make them stop.... And mom," with a shake of his head he laughed bitterly, "well, the things i've done... Mom'd probably think I'm gross. A disgusting, filthy, little boy. Can't say she'd wanna talk to me either..."

The bunny trailed off to stare into the distance as a deathly silence filled the room, broken only by the clatter of Kaylie's chair hitting the floor. The terrier quickly crossed the short distance between her and Kody and pulled the bunny up into a fierce hug, rubbing his back and whispering into his ears until he relaxed. Easing him down to the ground as his knees gave way, Kaylie held the bunny tight as he sobbed quietly in her arms, glaring over his head with withering malice towards their principal.

"I hope you're happy!" She seethed, "You're supposed to be helping, not... whatever that was!"

"I didn't know..." The bull looked on, torn between wanting to take back the pain he had caused and not knowing how.

"Well, dey told ya it was complicated," Toby said, "Dey weren't lyin'. I might not know everyting, but I don't tink dat intimidation is da best option for dealin' wit complicated."

Taking over to give the stunned bull a second to recover, Mr. Odhran looked to the rest of the cubs.

"Just how much do ye all know about this?"

"Rio probably knows more deats then the rest of us," Skyler mused, "but I think the easiest way to say it is that his parents are gone and his brother is using him to pay for drugs."

", a Mhaighdean..." the stoat said under his breath, paw stopping midway to reaching out to Kody, not knowing how to help.

"Yeah, that about sums it up." Rio nodded, "Toby bailed him out of a three on one in the girl's locker room on Friday, and he's been staying at my house since."

"Here?" Mr. Hastings snapped out of his daze upon hearing that, "He was being... assaulted, here?"

"No, I stopped it before it got dat far," Toby shook his head, "Dey had roughed him up pretty bad, and I tink dat was da next step, but I stopped dem."

"Who was assaulting him?"

"I don' remember dere names off da top of my head, but dey are da ones dat messed up da bat'rooms."

"Okay, so that- wait..." the bull paused something occurring to him, and their teacher picked up the thought.

"How did ye know the restrooms got vandalized?"

"It's complicated." Chorused Mike, Rio and Toby, exchanging brief smiles.

"I'll bet." Mr Hastings said flatly, "Not important right now though. You said he's been at your house, which means you parents probably know about all of this... Has anybody called the police?"

Kody jumped at the mention of law enforcement.

"No!" He yelled, causing everyone else to jump, "You can't, it'll only make it a lot worse."

"I fail to see-"

"This is where we run out of info," Kaylie piped up, standing and helping Kody back to his feet, "Rio's dad knows it all, and he'll probably be better at explaining the whole no cops thing."

"Yeah, my dad'll be able to tell you more on that front," Rio nodded, "but there is one other thing that I can tell you. Whatever is going on between Kody and his brother might bigger then we thought."

"What're ya saying, lad?" Mr. Odhran asked.

"Well, right before Kameron came back with reinforcements the hedgehog said something weird."

"Hedgehog..." Kody mused, closing his eyes as he thought back, "Ummm.... blue eyes, blonde hair, grey fur, black quills with red tips?"

"I think so, yeah," the tiger nodded, "Why, know him?"

"Yeah," the bunny shuddered, "I know things about him you can't show on cable television."

"So he's one of the people that..." Kaylie started, unable to finish the sentence.

"One of the more creative ones, yeah."

"What did this person say?" Mr. Hastings cut in, bringing the tiger's focus back to point.

"Oh, yeah. He said that since the rabbit's brother went missing, they were down a plaything. I've been thinking about it, and the wording is strange."

"Down a playting?" Toby nodded, "Yeah, if he was da only one dey had he would have said 'out' of a playting, not 'down' one. So, you tink dat our friend here..."

"Isn't the only one being abused." The bull finished.

"Yeah, at least, that's what I'm thinking."

"Okay, the police have to be notified," their principal stated, holding out a paw to forestall Kody's outburst, "I know your position, what I don't know is why. So, I am going to call the one person who can possibly help, which seems to be Mr. Kendrick's father. I haven't forgotten our deal though, Dakota. Do I have your leave to call him and only him?"

The rabbit hesitated, looking over at Rio.

"You can trust my dad, man, he'll show up but he won't call anyone else."

"Okay... yeah," he finally nodded, "You can call Rio's dad."

"Thank you," tapping his colleague on the shoulder the bull nodded to the door, "Come on Padriag, let's go call the boy's father. We've got some things to talk about when he gets here and I don't think this is a discussion that these cubs need to be part of."

"Sure," the stoat nodded, turning to the cubs, "We'll lock the door behind us, are ye alright with being alone?"

"We'll be fine." Mike said, "They've been chased off already, and I don't think that they're dumb enough to try anything when everybody's on alert."

"Ye have a point, lad. We'll be back." The two teachers headed for the door, locking it behind them as promised, leaving a tense silence in their wake.

"Well, locked in the weasel's room on Saturday morning." Shayne laughed, "This is a new one for everyone, I think."

"Not for me," Kody said with a small smile, "I've had detention often enough, this is normal."

"New one for most then," Kaylie assented before turning to Rio, "Speaking of new, what's up with the pacifier?"

"Hmm? Oh, yeah," the tiger blushed again, "It's a... well, ya know it's..."

Mike got out of his seat and stepped behind the stammering tiger, leaning over to drape his arms around his shoulders and nuzzle the side of his face.

"This paci," Rio said, taking reassurance from Mike's hug as well as his scent, "Is a gift from my boyfriend." As he finished speaking, he reached down and popped the paci into his mouth before reaching over his head to hug the bear.

Kaylie's eyes had widened at Mike's actions, but they almost popped out of her head at Rio's.

"No way!" She yelled, bringing both paws to her muzzle and squealing as she started bouncing in place, before looking at her friends, "I knew he liked him, but they're actually a thing now!! Why am I the only one reacting to this?"

"Because the rest of us already know about it." Shayne said, pulling Zac out of his seat and into a hug, kissing the feline on the nose and causing him to blush all the way to the tips of his ears.

"Already.. wait, you guys too?" She bent over the desk in front of her and placed a paw over her chest, "You guys, this isn't fair. You can't throw this much cute at me all at once, I don't think I can stand it."

"Hey, it's payback." Shayne said, settling his snout between Zac's ears as the feline sat back down, "The amount of cute bouncing between you and Kody there while Rio and Mike were gone was almost unbearable."

"Oh?" Rio asked, letting his paci fall from his mouth to hang on his chest, "You got something to share with the class, Ms. Rhys?"

The terrier stood straight up and glanced at Kody. The bunny met her eyes, his expression one of desperate hope tinged with the expectation of disappointment.

"Well, he is... I mean... i guess that..." she trailed off as Kody sighed and nodded, turning to sit facing away from the group and laying his head on his folded arms, "Absolutely the single most amazingly cutest thing that I have ever seen."

Kody flinched, before slowly turning around to face the grinning terrier, disbelief plastered over his entire body.

"I've never had a boyfriend,," Kaylie continued, holding out her paw, "What better person to start with the the cutest boy in school?"

"Are you serious?" The bunny said, slowly getting to his feet and hesitantly taking her paw.

"Yup!" She nodded, her grin spreading even wider as she grasped his paw, "Of course, you have a say in this too."

"Yeah, whaddya say, Kody?" Skyler asked, scrunching his face and sticking out his tongue, "Are ya sure you want to date my sister?"

The group laughed as Kaylie took a shot at her brother, missing by inches as Kody pulled her away from him.

"I... think I do," He said bashfully, flinching as the terrier let out another ear splitting squeal.

"My first boyfriend!!!" She stepped forward with her arms out to grab him, but his eyes widened and he reflexivly stumbled away from her grasp.

He retreated until his legs hit Mr. Odhran's desk, the gentle impact rocking him back to the present.

"I'm sorry..." he blushed, shoulders slumping as he looked at the floor.

"No," Kaylie said, a slight hitch in her voice, stepping forward to crouch so the bunny could see her, "It's my fault, I should know that you don't do so well with the touchy feely stuff. We'll just stick to holding hands for now, okay?"

"That's not fair," he shook his head and kneeled as well, "I think you should be able to hug your boyfriend. Just don't sneak up on me till I get more used to it."

"Deal." Kaylie said, spreading her arms wide, and laughing at the cheer the group let out as Kody leaned in and they hugged. Shifting positions, she sat on the floor next to him and intertwined their fingers as they leaned against the desk.

"I guess that means you're the last one in the group, Toby" She called over to the parrot."

"Oh, I don't tink so," Toby replied, "But I tink you've had enough cute for one day. Da info on my hook up would make yer head pop."

"You aren't kidding," Skyler giggled, "She'd blow a gasket."

"Come on Sky, tell me!"

"Now perhaps isn't the best time, Kaylie," Rio put in, running his fingers over the cord of his necklace..

"No? Alrighty then," the female terrier turned her attention to the tiger, "If you won't tell me about that, then I guess you can tell me more about that necklace of yours. Ya know, you never did answer Mr. Hastings' question."

"You're right, I didn't." Rio nodded, "What do you want to know?"

"Darn," Kaylie laughed, "I was hoping you'd be too embarrassed about it and rat out Toby to change subjects. Oh well, I'll take what I can get. Is sucking that necklace the only baby thing you do or do you have other..." she waved a paw in the air as she searched for a word, "Toddler toys?"

"Just the necklace, cause I think we used the last one last night," he said, craning his head back to look at Mike, "Or do you have more?"

"There's four left in my backpack, it's hidden behind Zac's soda stash in your closet."

"Did everybody but me know you've got stuff stashed in my closet?" Rio laughed, looking over at Zac.

"Focus!" Kaylie called. snapping and waving, "Used the last one of what? What's behind Zac's soda stash?"

"Um.... Socks, homework I have no intention of finishing, a bunch of legos-"

"The remote to your tv." Mike added.

"Really? I've been wondering where that went."

"Rio!" The female terrier threw her head back in exasperation.

"Aaaaand..... four neatly folded Teddy Bear Pampers."

"Really?" Kody asked as Kaylie's jaw dropped, "Do you... ya know, use them?"

"Yep," the tiger nodded, "Well, I've peed them anyway. Haven't tried the other option."

"You don't want to, trust me." Mike put in, chuckling at Kaylie's expression, "Takes forever to get it out of your fur."

"And how would you know that?" The terrier asked, regaining some semblance of her composure, "I leave you guys alone for one night..."

"Oh, don't kid yourself," Rio grinned, "Things have been 'up' for the past few days."

"Not the entire few days," Mike added, "they went down a lot too."

"And in-" Toby went on.

"And out-" Skyler continued.

"And then back in!" Shayne and Zac finished in chorus.

A shared look followed by laughter flashed between the group, and while Kaylie simply shook her head, missing the innuendo, Kody's eyes narrowed and he tilted his head.

"Boys are weird..." the terrier sighed, "Diapers, Rio, really?"

"Hey, they're comfortable, and it's actually really cool to be able to just completely relax and not worry about... well, anything. Besides," Rio reached up to gently grab Mike's ears and pull his head down to briefly kiss him, "They're adorable, right?"

"Oh, totally," the bear laughed, returning the kiss, "Nothing beats them."

"Arrggghh!!" Kaylie brought her free paw up to her chest in mock distress, "Too.... much.... cute!"

Freeing his paw from the terrier's grasp, Kody got to his feet and stepped over to Rio, face still a mask of suspicion.

"Something wrong, Kody?" The tiger asked.

"I don't know yet. Can I talk to you for a second?"

"Yeah," tapping Mike's arm to get the bear cub to let him up, Rio got to his feet and followed the bunny over to the far corner of the room, "What's up?"

Staring past Rio to the group of playfully chatting cubs, Kody scrunched his brow, clearly trying to find the best way to phrase his thoughts, before shaking his head and just deciding to go for the direct route.

"Mike is fucking you, isn't he?" He said, speaking low so his voice wouldn't carry, "Please, don't lie."

"Yeah, he has." Rio nodded, seeing no point in trying to talk his way around the issue, "Do you have a problem with it?"

"No, well- yes, but..." Pausing to marshal his thoughts, the bunny shook his head again, "You guys are so relaxed, and...It's not fair, I mean, it doesn't make sense. I don't understand how you can want to be in the same room with him, let alone right next to him. Specially if he makes you wear pissy diapers-"

"I'm going to stop you right there," Rio interrupted gently, "Because I think I know where you've gone off the rails. He's not making me do anything, for one thing, and It's not one sided, for another. I've done him too. Granted, it's only been the one time, but I don't mind cause I kinda like being on the bottom."

"You like it?" Kody asked, utter incomprehension exuding face and body, "How can you possibly like something that hurts so much?"

"Because it doesn't," the tiger replied flatly, "We've done it a bunch of times, and he hasn't hurt me once."

"But... That doesn't make sense," Kody shook his head a third time, "Every time they've done it to me I've felt almost like they're going to tear me in half."

"That's the difference, right there. He isn't doing it to me. He's doing it with me. It doesn't have to hurt, it actually feels really good. The reason it's been so awful for you, I think, is because they don't care whether or not they hurt you. They only care about making themselves feel good."

"So..." The bunny trailed off, his past experience making it nearly impossible to wrap his head around the concept.

"Look, just don't worry about it. I thought the same thing for a little bit, but trust me. Sex stuff between boys isn't auto a bad thing. If you have any questions or anything, just ask one of us guys. Don't say anything to Kaylie though, not yet."

"Why not? If it's not a bad thing, why doesn't Kaylie know?"

"Well...Okay, I'll put it like this. Nobody in this room is single. You've got me paired with Mike. You and Kaylie are a thing now, congrats on that, by the way," he held his paw up and got a small smile from Kody as the bunny high fived him, "and Zac and Shayne are together.

"Okay, so if nobody is single, then..." the bunny surveyed the room, mentally pairing the cubs up. His eyes widened slightly as he turned back.

"Yup, Toby and Skyler. That's why you can't say anything to Kaylie. She's really protective over her little brother, and we have to find the best way to break everything to her so she doesn't turn Toby into pudding."

"Okay, yeah.... So, sex is a good thing?"

"It can be, if you do it right." Rio nodded, "Although, to be honest, I've only ever done it with other guys, so you're gonna have to tell me if it's any fun with a girl." Laughing as the bunny turned beet red and started coughing as he choked on a bit of his own spit, Rio stepped around him and nodded back towards the group. "No pressure, of course. If it happens it happens, but the key thing is, don't force it. We good, or...?"

"Yeah, I think so," Kody cleared his throat, "Still not sure of... everything, but now I at least I know that you guys are different then my brother."

"Light and dark on that one, man," Rio said, turning and walking back to sit in front of Mike and lean back into him.

"Everything okay guys?" Skyler asked as they rejoined the group.

"Yeah," Kody replied, sitting next to Kaylie and grasping her paw again, "Just needed to make sure of something."

"What was that about?" Mike whispered, his mouth inches from Rio's ear.

"Remember what we talked about on the way back to my house after we mowed that dude's lawn? Kody was wondering the same thing."

Nodding, the bear took a breath to respond, but then straightened and turned towards the door as the sound of muffled voices drifted up the hallway.

"Alright lady and gents," he said, hopping off the desk he was perched on, "Anyone that doesn't feel like explaining more then we have to, now's the time to move."

Shayne followed suit, quick stepping from behind Zac and grabbing Kaylie's paw, pulling her to her feet just as Mr. Odhran's face appeared in the door's half window.

The stoat unlocked the door and immediately moved aside as Rio's dad, a pair of shirts draped over his shoulder, surged through the door and bee lined for his son. Placing a paw on either side of his head, he held him firmly in place as he stared into his eyes.

"Are you okay, Ivorion?"

"Yeah, dad, I'm fine. Might have nightmares tonight, but I'm fine for now." Rio replied, staring back at his dad and being careful not to blink.

After judging his son's eyes for a long moment, the elder tiger nodded and turned to the rest of the group.

"Everybody else okay, Mike, you doing good?"

"Yeah, I'm good," the bear nodded.

"If I may ask, Ivor,"Mr. Hastings asked, "What was the point of holding the boy's head?"

"Oh, that? It's so he had to look at my face when he answered my question," Rio's dad chuckled, "It didn't take long for me to learn that his eyes dart all over the shop when he's lying, and if I hold his head then he can't look at the floor or something."

"Yeah, I tend to be more honest if I know I can't get away with the lie." Rio nodded, getting a chuckle from his dad.

"Tis a shame that we cannae do the same thing, eh Alec?" Mr. Odhran laughed..

"Quite. Most parents wouldn't look too kindly on us grabbing their kid's head though. Anyway," turning his attention to the cubs, the principal continued, "After discussing things with Rio's father, we have come to the conclusion that for the time being it makes the most sense for Dakota to remain under his supervision."

Cheers rose from the group, and the bull had to call for attention twice before he could go on.

"That having been said, although we have gotten Dakota to a safe place there are possibly other cubs still at risk. As such, we will need to inform the police about the altercation here this morning."

"Don't worry though, lad," Mr. Odhran quickly added as he saw Kody stiffen up, "Ye were nae involved, it happened to Mr. Kendrick and Mr. Hayes. Ye will nae be mentioned."

"Yeah," Rio's dad nodded, "We'll keep you out of it for as long as possible."

"Okay...." Kody nodded, "Thanks.."

"Don't worry about it, we said we'd keep an eye on you and we will. Speaking of," turning towards Mike and his son, the elder tiger pulled the shirts of his shoulder and tossed one to each cub, "Figured you two might be getting a bit chilly."

"Thanks dad," Rio said, catching his shirt and slipping it over his head, then looked over at Mike, "What's up?"

The bear cub had paused in mid motion of putting his shirt on when he realized that it was indeed his shirt, and was now sitting frozen, staring wide eyed at Rio's dad.

"It took me a minute to find where you had stashed your bag, but eventually I checked the closet, and there it was."

The reason for his friend's reaction now readily apparent, Rio slowly turned to look at his dad. The elder tiger met his son's slightly panicked gaze and winked before continuing.

"So, I think that I'm gonna get my charges out of here and back home." He turned to the teachers, "Can you gentleman arrange transport for the rest of the group?"

"Yes, we've got busses for anyone that isn't in walking distance." The bull nodded.

"Alright then. Rio, Mike, Kody, you're with me. If anyone else has stuff stashed around Rio's room, I'll have him round it up and bring it to school tomorrow morning, is that alright?" Getting a round of assent from the cubs, the elder tiger nodded, "So, does that wrap it up?"

"Yes," the bull nodded again, "We'll get a hold of the police and probably have an officer here in the morning to speak with the cubs, so if you are bringing their belongings, it may be a good idea for you to stay and be present."

"Sounds like a plan." Mr. Kendrick nodded, shaking hands with the other adults before ushering his charges out the door.

A few minutes of walking in utter silence brought them to a different door then they came in from, leading out to the back parking lot were the elder tiger's truck was parked right outside. The group loaded up and only as the engine roared to life did Mike break the silence.

"So... about my back pack-"

"The contents of your back pack are none of my business." Mr. Kendrick interrupted with a chuckle, "I must admit that I was a little confused when I saw a pack of pampers, but seeing that necklace of your's Rio, I think that I've kind of figured the whole thing out."

"Dad, it's not-"

"Don't worry, Rio, I don't have any problem with you wearing diapers," his dad interrupted again, "I looked up the psychology behind older cubs wanting to wear diapers right after I found them. You are wearing them for a reason, and seeing as you aren't wearing them all the time, it's not because you're having a hard time getting to the bathroom. If you need my help with something, then you'll talk to me when you're ready. The only other thing I have to say on the matter is that if you need any more, let me know and I'll pick them up for you. Oh, and try not to not let your mother see them, because I can guarantee that she'll essentially handcuff you to the kitchen table until you tell her everything she wants to know whether you're ready to talk about it or not. As to you, Mike, I'm going to say thank you for helping Rio and not making fun of him."

"Oh- it's- yeah," the bear stammered, "My pleasure."

A few minutes later, they pulled up to Rio's house.

"Okay, Mike, grab your stuff and I'll take you home," Rio's dad said pulling the house key from his keyring and handing it to the bear, keeping the truck idling. The bear did just that, sprinting to the door and disappearing into the house for a few moments before trotting back with his backpack. "All set?"

"Yeah," the bear nodded, re-buckling his seat belt, "I set the wipes on top of the diapers Rio, K?"

"Oh, yeah," Rio blushed, "Thanks."

"Let me know how much you've spent on all that so far, and I'll pay you back Mike." The elder tiger said, pulling back.

"That's not-"

"It is necessary, unless Rio has put any money towards it, you've been paying out of pocket, we're going to pay you back."

"Yeah, I'll figure it out..."

The remaining trip to the bear's house went in slightly uncomfortable silence, but eventually they pulled up into Mike's drive.

"Head's up, Mike, you're mom knows that you got into a fight at school, but not much else so be prepared for an interrogation." Rio's dad called out the window as the cub trotted up to the door. Mike waved over his shoulder without turning around, jumping slightly as the door opened before he got to it. His mom stood in the doorway, looking worried.

"Thank you for giving him a ride home!" She called, pulling her son into a hug.

"My pleasure," Rio's dad called back with a wave. As he was about to pull out of the driveway, his phone went off. Grabbing his ear piece from the dash board, he put it on and answered his phone as he pulled out and started the drive home. "Ivor Kendrick, how can I help you today? Yes... Yes, but- No, I suppose not. Alright, don't worry, I'll have it up there in about half an hour. Okay, I'll see you then." Cutting the connection, Rio's dad sighed and tossed his phone and headset onto the dash.

"What's up dad, something at work?" Rio asked, after a few moments of irritated silence, getting a nod from his dad as the elder tiger finished the drive home.

"Okay guys," he finally spoke as he eased the truck into the driveway, hitting the button to open the garage, "When your principal called I was about to head to New Greenleaf for a delivery, and it seems that they can't wait until tomorrow for it. I don't want to drag you guys all over the valley, but I don't want to leave you alone either so I'll leave it to you. What do you prefer?"

"I'd rather stay here," Kody said, "Is that okay?"

"Yeah, and you are definitely not staying here alone," Mr. Kendrik nodded, "That makes up your mind for you, Rio."

"No problem," Rio nodded, opening the door and hopping out, closing it back up after Kody slipped past him, "New Greenleaf, so you'll be gone for about three hours?"

"Round abouts, yeah. There's a bunch of food in the fridge, if you get hungry. You guys head on in, I'll close the garage behind you, don't open the door for anybody, and don't answer the phone. If I need to get a hold of you-"

"You'll call my cell, yeah, basic layout for being home alone." Rio nodded, "I got it, see ya later tonight. Come on Kody."

With a wave, Rio's dad pulled out of the driveway and waited for the cubs to enter the garage before closing it behind them and driving off.

"Okay Kody, ya hungry?"

"Yeah, a little, but... Do you really wear diapers?"

"Yup, I do. And seeing as my dad's okay with it and my mom won't be home until a whole lot later..." Rio grinned, "I'll be right back."

The tiger cub sprinted up the stairs to his room and all but dove into the closet. Coming back out with prize in hand, he grinned and kicked off his shoes before pulling his shirt over his head and tossing it on the bed where it was swiftly joined by his jeans and boxers. He held the fresh diaper to his muzzle and inhaled it's scent before pulling it up between his legs and taping it firmly in place. As he reveled in the comforting feeling of being swaddled another familiar feeling spread through his body and he grinned again, realizing that he had not yet used the restroom today. Figuring he'd prove two points at once, he bounded back down the steps and into the kitchen. Hearing him coming back, Kody pulled his head out of the fridge and did a double take as Rio stepped into the kitchen wearing only a Teddy Bear Pamper.

"Holy crap. I thought you were... I don't know, but you really do-"

"Yep," the tiger nodded, "Step back real quick, and I'll make us breakfast." He popped his paci into his muzzle and ducked past the bunny. Bending over, he pushed his rump out farther then was strictly necessary and let his bladder go. An entire night's urine flooded into his padding, bathing his semi hard cubhood in wet warmth. Ignoring the food in front of him, the fourth grader just stayed bent over, enjoying the stark contrast between the frigid air surrounding his torso and the wet warmth around his privates. As the diaper started sagging between his legs, a gasp from behind him brought him back into focus. He quickly grabbed a few things from the fridge and stepped back, turning to face the gaping bunny. He grinned around his paci and set the food on the counter.

"That's.... I... You did it on your own. Nobody's making you..."

"Nope," Rio popped his paci out as he bucked his hips, making the piss soaked pamper swing between his legs and rub pleasantly against his erection, "I just really like the way it feels. So, how do you like your eggs?" The seven year old hiked his wet pamper firmly against his privates and took his paci between his lips, suckling contentedly as he grabbed a bowl from the cupboard and started making breakfast for his dumbfounded friend.
