This story takes place 6 months after the events of this story: https://www.sofurry.com/view/932830 Meowth, formerly of Team Rocket has decided to take a vacation in the Alola region, but ends up getting caught in some mischievous Pokemon's little paws after finding a meal.

A Feline's Hypnotic Vacation

Life has been rather... comforting for Meowth after having decided to relax in the Alola region. The talking Scratch Cat Pokemon has been on a rather crazy journey all on his own following his time with a certain Pikachu he controlled due to his new-found powers. That very same Pikachu that he hypnotized belonged to a certain hat wearing "twerp" named Ash Ketchum the cat and his friends Jessie and James have been following for over 5 years before...the accident.

Looking back on it now, Meowth could still find it hard to believe that everything got chaotic like that. It all happened so fast, because one moment the three of them were in the middle of a scheme of capturing Pokemon for their boss and the next their balloon inexplicably blows up and has them falling down hundreds of feet in the ground. While Meowth managed to grab hold of a tree branch and only got a few scrapes and bruises, his human friends were not so fortunate. Jessie had a few pieces of scrap pierce straight through a few vital spots such as the heart, stomach, and of course even in the back of the skull. She was killed almost instantly. James also had pieces of scrap inside him as having his head crushed like a watermelon by the motor for the balloon that landed on top.

When Meowth ran over to their bodies and saw the carnage in front of him, he had on an expression of traumatic horror on his feline face. Losing his friends like this was definitely NOT something he'd think would ever happen in his life. After what felt like hours of this, which was actually a few seconds, the Scratch Cat ran from the wreck as fast as he could. Tears have been building up in his eyes as he thought about all of the times they've spent together ever since they first met. All of the traps, schemes, and disguises they all did were only among the best things that they've done.

"Hard to believe it's been 6 months," the cat Pokemon muttered to himself in disbelief. "Time sure does fly real quick, doesn't it?" In the 6 months since his discovery of his mind control powers and subsequent fun with that Pikachu, he was on a rather crazy journey as already stated before. During his journey, Meowth has had to do some battling with any Pokemon he comes across, getting a bit stronger every single time he won. In the process, he gained a little muscle from the battling and the training he's done too.

The moves that he learned through half a year are the following: Brick Break, Rock Smash, Agility, Double Team, Iron Tail, Cut, Strength, Shadow Claw, and even the move his species were known for, Pay Day. With all 9 of these moves, plus his Fury Swipes attack, the ex-Team Rocket member became a strong Pokemon capable of holding his own in a fight. A good fighter, plus having the intelligence and ability to create gadgets and machines make a rather deadly combination if utilized correctly.

"Feels great that I'd get to have a nice, relaxing vacation here in Alola," Meowth sighed. "Sure am glad that I hypnotized a Pelipper into carrying me here. 'Cuz the trip would've taking longer if I had to travel the old-fashioned way. It's also a good thing my specialty in disguises helped dealing with the tourists, too." The disguise that he was referring to were the clothes he currently wearing. He has a green tank-top with a yellow stripe under the armpit covering his top half, and a pair of black pants covering his bottom half. A pair of yellow cover headphones are wrapped around his neck. The headphones are where he listens to his music from his handheld radio. Magenta framed sunglasses help block out sunlight going to his eyes. A fuzzy brown wig covers the top of his head, leaving out his charm. Surprisingly, it seems he's still able to hear fine. As for shoes, well, he decided not to wear any at all. He just simply enjoys going around in his furry bare feet, that's all.

"Better get some grub to eat later on so I won't starve." Meowth said. He got off the hammock he was in and took a walk through the woods to look for some food. As it was the middle of the day, the cat Pokemon took his time and walked a steady pace. There would nothing to worry about here in Alola.

Meowth has truly outdone himself right at this very moment. The Scratch Cat had managed to find and locate one of, if not THE, biggest piles of berries he's ever seen in his life. It was by mere coincidence that he somehow managed to find it all the way deep into the woods while he was still in some deep thoughts about gorging himself into fruit after finding it. However, the only thing that got in his way was a horde of Crabrawlers who were trying to pick a fight with him. The fight that ensued was a bit...anti-climactic to say the least. (All that took the 5 Fighting Pokemon down was a kick in the face for each of them.) But of course it was worth it in the end.

'I am SO happy and thankful that my training came in handy today,' he thought to himself. 'Maybe I'll think about building a place of my own and start living here. Yeah. That'll be it.' The thought of actually living in Alola is enough to make the talking cat Pokemon get all jittery inside. Nothing could possibly be more great than that.

All of a sudden, the sound of twigs snapping brought the ex-Team Rocket member out of his fantasy and got him into a state of alert. Where did that sound come from, and who? Was it some other Pokemon that are searching for food too? Or could it be something else entirely? Those questions going through the feline's mind lingered on for a little bit, before eventually getting to the back of his mind after a few minutes passed by.

"I-is a-a-anybody o-o-out there?" Meowth managed to bring out that question through his stuttering. He may have gotten stronger, but that doesn't mean he's not easily afraid anymore. What makes it even worse for him is that his friends are no longer around to help him. He is alone from here on out.

All alone, with no one but himself to protect.

Right as he was about to leave, the Scratch Cat Pokemon saw what looked to be a pair of eyes appear through the thick brush, glowing an ominous, purplish glow and staring straight at him. He is now paralyzed with fear by those scary eyes. The poor little guy couldn't even more a single muscle.

As suddenly as he was paralyzed by those eyes, Meowth started to feel a bit tingly and strange. It's almost as if he's starting to get a bit sleepy just by looking at them. One tell-tale sign of this would be his eyes are drooping a little, and is still doing so at a slow but gradual pace. "What...is...ha...ppening... to me...," he is managing to drawl out of in his ever-growing daze. "I feel...like I'm...being...hypno...tized..." After that, he flopped onto the ground and fell asleep.

A rustling came from the bushes before something came out of them. Floating there just a few feet from Meowth's sleeping body was what looked to be a Shiny colored Mew. Like its' original pink counterpart that everybody knows, this Mew tends to be quite mischievous and loves to play jokes on unwary trainers and travelers alike. It recently migrated here to Alola at the exact time that the Scratch Cat did. And it looks to anybody else if they were actually there that the legendary Psychic-type Pokemon has some rather...fun plans with the ex-Team Rocket member.

"Alrighty then, little Meowth," the Mew said in a cute, yet also authoritative voice. "Time to wake up, but also remain under trance." Meowth awoke, and stood up and still in a soldier-like pose with his arms to the sides. Behind his sunglasses, his eyes have been glazed over with the eyelids drooping nearly halfway. "What is your command, my master?" he asked, blankly.

The Progenitor of All Life merely smirked mischievously before floating a little closer to the hypnotized feline in front of it. It looked into his eyes and saw the glazed over look signifying being in a trance before examining the rest of the body. It was quite impressed in the Meowth's disguise, and how useful it is in dealing with any and all locals of Alola that might otherwise get a little curious. Having looked through the Scratch Cat's mind recently, the Psychic was also happy that he's officially gonna life here too.

"Listen to me well dear Meowth, and hear these words." Mew says, putting hypnotic suggestions deep into Meowth's subconscious. "You are my toy to play with. You are my obedient plaything, my obedient servant. You will do as I tell you without any hesitation, and you will enjoy doing what I say. Every single thing that I have told you will be truth to you from here on out. Do you understand?" "Yes, Master," droned Meowth emotionlessly.

"Perfect," Mew replied. "Then come with me. We will make our new home and have so much fun and games afterwards. It will be so wonderful to also get a few playmates along for the ride as well." Mew then flew to a direction opposite Meowth, who then followed shortly after his new master.

It looks like Meowth's vacation wasn't exactly what he had in mind. Not that he would remember any of it. Or that he won't EVER be able to remember anything at all once Mew is finished reprogramming him into his personal plaything for the rest of his days.
