Cat Burglary

~snap, a lone tree branch snapped under the weight of the lion's foot as he snuck closer to a beach side estate. Following closely were his guards, all of which were specially trained for this mission, "Stop here." the leader commanded as he peered his head around the corner. "There" he paused to point at the jewel, which stood perched on a metal stand. "That is our goal, we have to get the jewel without them noticing us."

~

Rushing through the halls of the estate, the cook hurried over to the dining room, quickly brushing past the jewel. "Shit!" he exclaimed as he knocked into the stand holding the jewel. Placing the tray down, he quickly stood the stand back up and continued his haste towards the kitchen.

Unbeknownst to the young cook, the prized jewel began slowly sinking into the sauce covered meatloaf. Slowly, the already bright red jewel disappeared into the slab of steaming beef.

"Finally! There you are! I am starving!" the boss inquired as he raised his hands to receive the his plate of food, "I love meatloaf!" he joyfully exclaimed a he brought the plate in front of himself.

"Yes sir, I hope you enjoy!" he said while bowed to his leader and began exiting the room, "I will return to the kitchen if I am needed." With that he left the room and proceeded back to the kitchen.

Directing his attention to the food, the zebra fumbled for his utensils as he eagerly began cutting into the juicy meat. "Mmm" he moaned as he took his first bite of the loaf, "I love it!" he shouted to the kitchen with a mouthful of food.

"I'm glad!" the chef shouted back at him.

Giggling to himself, he stuffed more food into his mouth, he failed to notice the thumb sized jewel resting inside his spoonful of meat and tomato sauce. Without hesitation, he shoved the spoon into his wide-open maw, savoring the succulent flavor, he gradually swallowed chunks of meat without issue.

Watching in disbelief, the four lions huddled close to one another as the zebra prepared to stuff his face with more food. Opening his mouth once more, he revealed to the pride of lions the grease and meat covered jewel before he plopped more food on top of it. Closing his mouth as he swallowed more chunks of food, carelessly he threw it to the back of his throat. ~Gulp, the zebra inhaled the jewel into his throat, gradually creating a bulge as it began passing through his esophagus.

"There's no way we are getting that ruby now!" exclaimed one of the guards.

"No, I have another way." He affirmed to his guards, "Come, let us go back to the van" He commanded as he led them back towards the hidden vehicle.

~

Bending down into the cramped van space, the pride leader reached into a drawer full of lightly colored bottles and scraps of paper. Retracting his hand from the drawer, he pulled four bottles, one of which was yellow and three of which were pink.

"Why is one different from the others?" the guard questioned as he gazed over the bottles.

"These bottles allow us to shrink down, the yellow one takes you only to a mouse's size. Making it easier to be noticed but not impossible to be hidden, the pink ones shrink us to about two inches tall. We will go in one by one so we don't get in each other's way." He explained while he handed out two of the pink bottles and the yellow bottle to the guards. "You wanna go first?" he asked while eyeing down the furthest guard from him,

"Y-yes sir, I would gladly go first!" the guard complied as he brought the yellow colored bottle to his lips. "Here goes!" he said as he flipped the bottle up, letting the liquid pour into his mouth, instantly filling his mouth a unsavory flavor. It tasted of sour grapes with an aftertaste of granny smith apple. Setting the bottle down, he began feeling light headed as he slowly lowered himself to the ground. Closing his eyes, he could feel the wall he was pressed up against stretch high into the sky, while his hands felt the floor run for miles as he began shrinking to the designated height.

"He looks a little like a mouse too." One guard commented as he reached down and carefully picked the still dizzy guard up.

"We should get him inside before they do another round!" the leader commanded the guards once more, as he placed a tiny walkie talkie in the pocket of the unconscious guard.

~

Chhck, the walkie talkie crackled through the lion's ear drums, _"Are you there?"_the agitated voice questioned the groggy kitty.

Fumbling through his jacket, he pulled out the walkie "Hel-

~boom

A deafeningly loud noise broke the lion's train of thought, looking around the dimly lit garage he failed to notice the giant zebra hovering over him.

"Heh, a little mouse." The giant zebra chuckled to himself.

Cocking his head up, the lion cowered in fear as the massive hooves lowered towards him.

Picking up the 'mouse', "Wow, you are flailing a lot! You must taste great, being in the garage for so long, getting this plump and juicy." He said licking his lips at the thought of having this delicious treat all to himself.

Staring in disbelief at the zebra's words, how does he not realize that I'm not a mouse? The lion thought to himself.

"But, I have a friend that will enjoy you more than me." he said as he made his way out of the garage and into the living quarters.

Hearing those words terrified him, he cowered in fear as the giant's finger's plucked him from the ground.

Peering his eyes through the slightly opened door, "Hey man!" he called out to the underdressed zebra that sat down on his bed, "You wanna have a nice delicious mouse?" he asked his visibly exhausted friend.

"What do you wan-" his words were cut off by his friend jiggling a mouse in his grasp. "Is that for me?" he asked as he rushed towards the door.

"Yes, this little treat is yours! Only if you can swallow it in one bite!" he said giving his friend a devious grin.

"Challenge accepted! That's not even that hard!" he bragged to his friend as he snatched the 'mouse' and placed it above his maw.

Yelping in fear as he was snatched from his previous captor's grasp and placed in another. "Please, I am not a mouse!" he screamed as he was raised through the air.

"Aww, he is squeaking, that's adorable!" he complimented the lion's pleas for help as he prepared to drop him into his mouth.

Staring in complete fear, he watched the zebra press his massive tongue passed his lips.

"Have a happy landing!" he wished to the petrified 'mouse' as he released his grip on it.

"No don't!" he pleaded with the giant zebra, almost as if he heard his pleas, the giant let a tiny grin find itself on his cheeks.

"You'll be gone soon enough, you have not to worry little one." He consoled the treat as it entered his mouth.

The giant's words echoed through his ears as he plummeted into the wide-open maw, almost immediately after entering the giant's mouth, all light seemed to disappear as the entrance sealed itself shut. Pressing his tiny paws against the row of teeth that prevented him from escaping this nightmare.

Closing his eyes, he began savoring the texture that covered his treat. "Did you put anything on this?" he asked as he attempted to speak around the lion.

"No, I just found it walking in the garage."

"Those always taste the best!" he once again tried to speak passed the lion, sitting himself down he began lapping the feline's fur with saliva. Enjoying the salty taste that was present on the lion.

Feeling his world constantly flip over, the lion flailed helpless as he was drenched with saliva and beaten to a pulp by the intrusive tongue. Pressing himself away from the massive organ, the lion reached for his walkie talkie. "Oh no" he troubled himself as he began searching frantically for the small device. Rummaging through his pockets, fear began creeping into his mind as he realised that he didn't have it. "Where the fuck is it?" he cried out in desperation as the tongue lapped over him, covering him in more saliva.

Rolling his eyes back as he pressed the feline to the roof of his mouth to suck every ounce of flavor from him. Releasing the pinned lion from his tongue's grasp, he let the tiny creature rest before sending him down into his hungry belly.

Feeling the tongue's pressure subside as he slowly began descending from the roof, resting atop the squirming tongue, the lion lied there weak and short of breath. Shaking from the trauma he had endured, he began taking in deep breaths of what smelled like grass and dirt, giving him a sense of home, making him miss his home of Africa even more since moving here. ~sigh, he let out a depressive sigh as he started to crawl towards the heading of the tongue.

Giggling to himself as he felt the tiny creature making a final attempt to escape, "Shhh, it'll be over soon." He half-heartedly consoled the trembling lion.

Hearing his captor's words left him feeling helpless as the tongue shocked back to life, bringing him back into the air. Agonizing over what felt like tons of pressure from the tongue as it squeezed him towards the back of his throat, slowly his legs began dangling through the air as he started to enter the zebra's throat, tears running down his cheeks while allowing the massive muscles to envelop his body. The walls around him began vibrating, gradually moving him towards his acidic tomb.

Raising his hooves to his throat, the tiny creature formed the perfect bulge, affirming his arousal of the situation, the space between his legs began forming a different type of bulge as his member began growing stiff. Within seconds the bulge in his throat disappeared into the depths of his body, returning his throat to its normal form. Directing his attention to his member, he made his way to the bathroom.

Lasting only seconds, the trip down to the stomach was anything but painful, instead, it relaxed the traumatized lion. the firm yet soft walls that adhered to his body matched with the gentle rhythm of the zebra's heart brought the lion to peaceful tranquility, accepting what awaits him down below. He reached the end of the esophagus and drops straight down into the burning acid, floating to the surface for only a moment, his feline eyes adjusting to the dark and damp surroundings. He stared at what was going to be his last sight, the curves of the flesh and the slimy rounded walls made his last home feel oddly comfy. His eyes began tearing up once more as the acid slowly made its way into his skin. Progressively, it broke through his flesh and poured over his organs, weighing him down further into the abyss. Faster than he had hoped, his vision began fleeing from him as his grip on this world slipped from what was left of his hands. The walls of his tomb shook as gas began to form as its new contents started dissolving. Forcing a smile on his face, he felt at peace with himself as his head finally sank beneath the steamy surface.

"Are you there?" the walkie rung through the garage, "Where did you go?" the pride leader questioned the absent guard.

Placing the walkie down opposite of him, turning to face his two guards, "We seem to have lost a fellow guard." Pausing to give them a reassuring smile, "But don't fear, we will still get that gem, in his honor, no matter what cost." Walking over to the shaken guards, he placed his quivering paw on the shoulder of the guard to his right. "You're up!" he said handing the shaken lion a walkie talkie and then a pink bottle.

~

Creeping through the metallic vent, the tiny lion wrapped his fingers tightly around his backpack as he searched for the entry to the kitchen. Widening his nostrils, the smell of sizzling meat quickly filled his senses. peering below him, he spotted the chef from before frying some steak. Reaching for his backpack, ~zip, he unzipped his pack and reached for his rope and walkie talkie.

Have you found a proper vessel? The voice questioned through the device.

"Yes!" the guard quickly responded as he held the walkie close to his mane, "He seems to be making a steak for him, I will try and climb my way down there."

Be careful, don't get caught. The voice requested and clicked off the channel.

Sliding the walkie into his pocket, he began securing the rope to the outer screw that was sealed into the vent. Wrapping the rope around the screw, his ears twitched as gusts of wind started whirling behind him. Pulling him off his feet, he desperately flailed for the rope as he flew out of the vent and plunged towards the frying pan. Falling at an alarming pace, he could only cover his eyes from the shire pressure they were enduring. Slamming onto the juicy surface, his vision became blurry as the oil made its way past his eyelids. "Fuck!" he yelled as he attempted to rub the slick liquid from his eyes. Opening his eyes slightly, he barely could see where he landed but he felt heat, an overwhelming amount of heat coming from below him. Running his paws along the bumpy surface, tearing at it, he racked his brain. His ears twitching as sound began flowing back to him. The lovely, yet terrifying sound of the pan sizzling was alarmingly close to him. Filling his heart with fear, the monolith of a steak began pulling itself through the air before coming to rest on another surface. Rapidly blinking his eyes, his vision cleared only a little as two hooves reached for the plate. He had to dig his feet into the ground to keep his balance.

"Hey." The zebra pride leader said as he tapped his cook on the shoulder, "Would you mind giving this to my brother? He hasn't eaten all day and I'd rather have a smoothie anyway."

"Sure thing!" the chef agreed as he began making way to the leader's sibling.

Faintly he heard talking among the giant zebras, within seconds one left and the movement began again. Worming his toes deeper, his vision gradually returned, as blurry circles became well detailed shapes and his surroundings also found their form. Entering a dimly lit hallway, the chef took no more than 4 four steps and placed himself in front of a wooden door. Gawking at the sheer size of this everyday item, "It's like seven trade centers." He mumbled to himself as he still tried to grasp the size of it.

~knock knock, the hoof tapped at the ragged and fragile door, rolling his eyes as he stood there awaiting the brother of his leader to open the door.

~screek, the door, as if to remain silent, slowly opened and revealed the disheveled much younger sibling, stretching out his arm and hoove. He gave no thanks to him as he took the plate and quietly closed the door.

Scoffing to himself while stepping out of the hallway, he noticed a tiny device resting on the floor. Giving it no more than a glance he stepped over whatever it was and continued his way back to the kitchen.

Quickly moving his eyes around, surveying the area, his vision adjusted to the gloomy looking room. The floor was a purple type color while the walls were a darker blue, normally found on cars. Keeping his attention however, was the giant stack of vhs porn and bad dragon dildos.

Placing his plate on the desk, he neglected to grab any silverware from his last trip to kitchen. "Guess my hooves will do." He sighed before reaching for the greasy steak.

Hearing those words quickly brought him back to reality, redirecting his gaze to the fingers that stretched towards him. he lunged forward and let out a yelp of pain as his feet remained lodged in the steak. Falling flat, he let out another yelp of pain; this one louder than the other had been, as the giant's hooves began to lay rest on top of the small feline. Feeling his bones ache as the hooves pressed down on him, his body offering no resistance as he conformed to the surface around him.

Raising the steak up to his slightly open mouth, he brought the side that retained the most juice, the side away from the lion, and bit down on the thick meat. He at first had trouble tearing the rough meat apart, but it quickly gave in and tore itself from the bigger piece of meat.

His feet were left hanging as the meat that locked them in place was ripped from existence, feeling a rush of cold air hit him, his body soon covered with goosebumps. Moving his feet, he barely had enough time to escape as the massive finger clutched the piece of meat even tighter.

Readjusting his grip, he finished mulling his way through his first bite of food and was ready for his second. Tilting the plate with his free hoof, he left the dish at a 15-degree angle, so the remaining juices that hadn't stuck to the steak would slosh to one side and cumulate in a small pool. Floating with tiny lumps of hair from the micro lion, the pool of juice looked unappetizing to a close onlooker but from the height of zebra, it was unnoticeable and irrelevant for him to give it more than just a glance before pressing the last bit of meat into it.

After moving back and forth for what felt like hours, he was abruptly thrown from his feather like state and plunged straight into the pool, ~crunch, his legs quickly gave way under the immense pressure being put on him and the surrounding steak. "Ahh!" he let out an agonizing scream of pain as his legs continued to roll under the steak.

"That's enough." he muttered to himself as he raised the saucy meat back to his muzzle.

Gracefully, the zebra lifted his pressure and swiftly thrusted the hapless feline towards his awaiting mouth. Screaming in more pain, his legs flapped and slapped around like jelly and made the trip up more and more agonizing as the giant paid no mind to his screams and carelessly threw him into his open maw. ~yelp, he yelped in pain as he was thrown from the steak and slammed into the large mass of tongue. Immediately after his rocky descent, the massive piece of steak rumbled towards him, helplessly staring, he froze in fear as it pressed down onto him once more. This time trapping him against the tongue as it moved them on top of a molar and under another tooth. Feeling his world spin around, his back felt vulnerable, with his senses kicking in, he could do nothing as the oversized tooth began approaching. Meeting his body with immeasurable force, it made little work of not only the steak but his arms and was left of legs, screaming in pain yet again as he lies useless to fight against the giant's persistent chomping. Tugging at his arms and legs, all he could do was cry, not from the situation but from the pain as well. With each passing moment his ears curled behind his head, as his arms and legs were ripped from their joints and thrown into the rest of the mush of meat.

Pushing the meat away from his teeth as he felt the familiar taste of iron running across his tongue, opening his mouth slightly, he pressed one of his hooves into his mouth and felt around his cheeks and tongue.

Unexpectedly the chewing stopped, light quickly flooded into his view, blinding his for a moment as a shadow grew over him. Moving passed him, the hoof felt around the surrounding flesh around him. his eyes filled with so much anguish as he stared at the ungodly amount of blood flowing from his body.

Pulling his hoof out, he closely examined his fingers, "Probably just the steak." He quietly mumbled as he resumed to chewing his food.

He remained motionless as the giant's finger hovered over him momentarily. It stared down at him, like it was watching him, mocking him...for being so idiotic to get himself stuck in this situation but rather than slam down on him like it did all the other places in the mouth. it left, leaving him in darkness once again as the mouth sealed back up. Closing his eyes, he awaited the teeth to clamp together again, wanting nothing more than for this to be over. Losing the feeling in the stubs where his arms and legs once were, he started to feel a sense of cold as a shiver rocked through his spine despite being in a humid and damp environment. Burring his muzzle in the meat to hold on as the ball of mush shifted onto its side. "It will all be over soon." He thought to himself as he opened his eyes quickly adjusted to the darkness, he could see the razor-sharp teeth hovering over him as did the hoof. This time however it didn't leave, it rushed towards him. His vision slowly fleeting from him, those adorable lion ears twitched one last time as a loud crunch rung through them. His miniscule body, as well as his arms and legs, gave little resistance as the unforgiving tooth crashed down, splattering his body and mashing his bones together with the rest of the mush.

Rolling the ball of meat to the back of his throat, he curled his tongue, letting the ball of mush roll to the edge. Shifting his tongue upward, the soggy ball squeezed into the throat and quickly adhered to the walls as they pressed it down towards the zebra's stomach.

~

"Damn it!" The pride leader slammed his fist on the dusty dashboard.

"I guess we have to call it a night?" The lone remaining guard questioned the rattled leader.

"No."

"No?" he titled his head, gather a troubled look on his face.

"We have to get the ruby tonight! We don't know where it'll be in a couple days or when we would be able to come back!" He exclaimed as he rumbled for the last two pink bottles, raising one to his muzzle and lifting the last to the guard's. "Take it." he commanded while pressing the bottle's tip to the guard's quivering lip.

Locking in to his superior's gaze, he obliged, fighting those hazel eyes was useless. Opening his maw, the pink liquid quickly filled every crevice in the lion's mouth. Without a moment's notice, his navy sweatshirt and similarly colored vest began growing as he began feeling the same light headedness his previous co-workers had.

"I will find us the perfect opportunity." He consoled the now tiny and uneasy guard, picking him up in one paw and reaching for the door handle with the other. Holding his bottle with his teeth, he crouched close to the ground and snuck closer to the beach house.

~

Carrying the unconscious guard on his shoulders, they passed through the same vents as did the previous guard. Laying his body near the kitchen's vent, he pulled a rope from his backpack and began tying it around the guard's torso and waist. Looking over the desert like landscape that presented itself in the hollow square. His eyes locked themselves onto a lone dark purple backpack, that laid about 50 feet from the entrance to the kitchen. Fastening the last knot on the guard's body, he started to make his way over to the backpack. On the way there he noticed the air getting thicker and denser, leaving him to feel a little light headed. As he approached closer to the pack he came to identify it as one of his guard's bags. As he inched closer, his nose picked up the scent of another creature, turning his head around with great bewilderment, he paused... staring down the vent's shaft. Standing there, stalking him, an eight-legged creature with beady red eyes, trotted closer to him. Realizing the spider was a black widow, he quickly turned his body and began running towards the other guard, who had started to come back to reality, "Get ready to jump!" he screamed to the guard.

Whipping his head backwards, he noticed his boss running towards him, focusing on the creature chasing behind his boss. He let out a screech of terror as his eyes adjusted to the fairly large spider (compared to the two lions) racing towards them. Fumbling for the end of the rope, he half-assed his way through securing the knot on the rope to the vent's screws. "Hold on." He directed his boss as he wrapped his arms around him, paying little attention to where they would land, he counted to three and jumped from the vent.

Holding tightly around each other, the two miniscule lions plummeted towards the counter top.

Screaming as the rope began tightening around his waist, the rope ran out of give and left both of them gangling inches from the counter. Losing his grip on his boss, he immediately started clawing at the rapidly tightening rope. "Help me it's cutting off my circulation!" he exclaimed while pulling harder at the rope. ~snap, the tension on the rope was finally too much and slammed the poor guard onto the counter. Throwing the rest of the disconnected rope from his body, the dazed lion laid on his back and stared at the cabinets that hung-over head. He began to go numb to his surroundings and ignored the massive glass and plate coming into his view.

Grabbing his guard by his scruff as the plate came crashing down near them, he pulled his body behind a neon green bendy straw. "Hey!" he yelled at the awe-struck guard.

Hearing a fuzzy voice speaking to him, he turned his head and came face-to-face with his boss's screaming face. Directing his attention to the large straw, moving his lips but no words found themselves on his tongue as he began to stand to his feet. Moving towards the entrance, he stared down the dimly lit tunnel and made his way to one of the ridges in the straw's neck. Opening his mouth once more, "Last chance." He said while raising his arm and pointing his index finger at the laid-out pieces of bread. Bending down, he wedged himself in the crevasses of the neck and waved his boss off.

"How's my smoothie and sandwich coming along?" The zebra pride leader questioned his chef as he placed a hoof on the snow-white dress shirt his chef wore as a uniform.

"It's coming along great sir!" he quickly retorted as he pulled out slices of ham and cheddar cheese.

Hearing his opportunity make itself clear, he began making a mad dash towards the neatly laid-out slice, wrapping his paws around the rim of the plate. Letting a raspy grunt escape his lips as he pulled himself onto the cold and smooth plate, digging his paws and hind legs into the doughy edges of the bread, he struggled to pull himself up as a piece of ham slammed down onto his fingers, wincing in pain but not releasing his grip, biting his tongue as to not alert someone or something to his presence. Dragging his body under the meaty blanket, he eased his tense form, snuggly lodging himself into the bread.

Lifting the blender, the chef tilted it slightly and emptied most of its contents into the glass. Soon thereafter, he reached for the straw that laid behind the glass.

Closely the lion listened to the thunderous movement of the wandering chef, bracing himself as his landscape slowly shifted from being horizontal to everything having a slight tilt until the long tube of the straw was completely vertical. Holding on to his salvation, the bend in the straw's neck, that kept him from plummeting through the air and splatting onto the countertop. Keeping his eyes locked on the bottom hole of the plastic tube, his nose picked up the tropical smell of mixed fruits and vegetables, keeping his sight towards the hole, an orangey surface appeared below him. Immediately following the sudden appearance of the surface, a brush of cold wind assaulted his body and left him covered in goosebumps.

Inserting the straw into the smoothie the guard flicked his tongue around in his mouth, "A little bit won't hurt." He reasoned to himself as he brought the straw to his lips.

His heart began beating faster as the ice tides began rising to an uncomfortable level, suddenly however, they stopped and he rested back into his ridge. Turning his head, he came face-to-face with the giant zebra's widening maw. "Oh shit!" he yelled in protest to the massive maw, ducking into his 'safe' ridge as the zebra began sucking for the succulent drink that awaited in the confines of the plastic tube. Burring his muzzle in the shelter of his chest as the shaft of the straw started to shake and tremble from the hurricane force winds pulling the drink from within.

Rolling his eyes back while enjoying his delicious creation, "Mmm." He enjoyed every drop of the smoothie that passed through his lips. Removing the straw from his lips, he glanced down to the glass and then at the remaining smoothie in the blender, "I can have a little more." He reasoned once more as he reintroduced his salivating mouth to the straw.

Taking in deep breathes as the rest of the smoothie passed back down the long shaft and the last bit remained in a puddle near the entrance of the straw. His body began Shivering from being drenched in the icy liquid, licking his fur as to bring some warmth to his body, he neglected to adhere to the zebra's second attempt at drinking the sweet treat.

Feeling the zebra start to suck in from the straw, his body began lifting into the air, quickly swiping at the ground, the rough padding on his paws secured him to the already slick surface. Inhaling more air as his mind slowly seeped into a panic attack. choking on the thinning air, his eyes widened from the sight of the tsunami of smoothie rushing towards him. Fear slowly building inside him as the wave grew closer, feeling the air get thinner, his grip on the edge grew weaker.

Before being able to readjust his grip, the lion's miniscule body was smacked with tons of liquid. Thrashing around, helplessly as he was propelled towards the zebra's slimy tongue, gasping effortlessly for air as he etched closer to the inviting maw.

As he drifted closer, light slowly faded away as the tiny feline exited the straw and entered the intimidatingly large mouth. Twisting his body backwards, ducking his head under the flowing liquid, he tried in vain to swim back to the safety of his ridge in the straw. Slowly his tiny body drifted to the back of the throat, his ears twitching to the sound of the roaring waves behind him. The sound growing closer, he could do nothing as his light-weight body flung downward.

Fruitless screaming, he flailed his arms as he was dragged under the unrelenting amount of smoothie pouring over him. Entering the throat, his trip through the zebra's esophagus lasted only seconds before he slammed down into the acidic surface inside the stomach. "Oh god it burns!" he cried out under the acid, inadvertently letting more acid pour into his mouth and throat. Coughing and flailing once again as his body slowly tore itself apart from the inside, no longer focusing on swimming to the surface, he floated motionless as he felt the acid rip through his organs. Listening to the majestic zebra's heartbeat, the formally scolding acid, slowly shifted to a colder temperature as the lion's consciousness began drifting off until his body finally gave way to the beckoning call to leave.

Hearing the calls of his mother, the lion's mind formed his favorite childhood memory; running through the field as a cub, he ran through the tall dried out grass. paying little attention to where he ran, his feet soon became tangled with some hidden vines. Twisting his ankle, he fell onto the ground, tears filling his eyes as a voice called out to him, "Zach, it's ok!" the comforting sound of his mother's sweet voice, she quickly wrapped her son in her arms. Wiping the tears from his eyes, she gave him a kiss on the forehead and carried him off to their home. Grinning at the thought of his mother, his body finally disappeared into the churning stomach fluid.

~

Waiting desperately as the chef continued to place things on his meaty blanket, ~pop, the top of one of the many condiment containers flung open and began dress the surface of the smelly swiss cheese. Letting out an exhausted grunt, he felt the immense pressure from the giant hooves sealing the sandwich shut and compressing it to assure it stays closed.

Lifting the sandwich and its accompanying smoothie up, the chef began making his way to the pride leader's table. Passing through the halls, he overheard two of youngest zebras bragging over a mouse they had found. Continuing down further, he smelled the steak he had prepared earlier for the leader's brother.

"Finally! I am so hungry!" the leader called out to the chef, "Come lad, I can see your shadow!"

Giggling to himself, the chef is still startled by the always overjoyed pride leader's reaction to food, "Hot and delicious as usual sir!" he retorted as he stepped through the dining room's threshold and made his way to the jittery leader. Placing the plate down, he quickly removed his hooves and bowed to his leader, "Enjoy." Was all he said before he walked out of the room.

"Looks delicious!" he complimented the chef who was no longer present, setting aside his formalities, he wasted no time in picking up the appetizing sandwich.

Lying hidden under the very edge of the slice of ham, the lion heard the chef speak to the zebra leader and leave the room, immediately following the chef's exit the tiny lion felt his world shift as he and the sandwich were thrusted through the air and left hanging inches from the zebra's mouth. Peeking his head from the slimy piece of meat, he recoiled at the sight of the massive zebra's meaty tongue coming out and coating the lips with saliva. feeling his heart began to race, he gulped down whatever doubt he had and prepared for insertion.

Watching closely, the lion pushed himself out of the hole he had been resting in, and clutched the slice of bread tightly as he was thrusted once more but this time forwards, within milliseconds the sandwich collided with the zebra's canines. The sudden stop throwing the lion from his spot on the sandwich and tossing him onto the center of the twitching tongue, rolling around uncontrollable, the lion was soon covered in the zebra's smelly saliva, wiping it from his eyes.

His heart soon began pounding once again as the teeth chopped off a piece of the sandwich and allowed it to tumble down towards the helpless lion. Tripping to the ground as the tongue started to curve to accommodate for the piece of sandwich, looking around with much bewilderment, the tiny lion could do nothing as he was squished back into his former hiding placed.

Taking a bite of his sandwich, the leader grinned with joy at another one of his chef's masterpieces. "Even his sandwiches are good!" he spoke to no one in particular, flicking his tongue to present the piece of food to his teeth so they could readjust it to make it swallow friendly.

Frantically clawing at the oversized bread, the tiny feline was carelessly thrown around with the rest of the food, with fear seeping back into his mind, the lion quickly lost track of his objective and began fighting for survival. Tearing at the bread and soon reaching the slice of ham, the lion felt accomplished. but soon ripping the accomplishment from him, the massive teeth crashed down onto him and the saliva drenched bread.

Pummeling him like a ton of bricks, the lion screamed in pain as he felt his body compressing under the tooth's immense pressure, crying out for it to stop, the tooth, with the help of the tongue, rolled the soggy bread and puny lion over and continued crushing him. Enjoying the precious seconds as he was turned over to be shredded by the unforgiving teeth, wincing in pain, the lion felt the tooth reassert pressure on his back, mushing his face onto the concrete hard tooth that laid below him.

"Please!" he pleaded with the unknowing zebra, "Enough, let me be!" crying out one last time, the zebra knew his end was near, closing his eyes he awaited the final impact from the tooth......but nothing happened. The lion instead was tossed to the back of the zebra's throat and pressed to the roof of his mouth and swallowed into the depths of the esophagus. Falling for what felt like hours, the lion and the ball of mush entered the zebra's stomach, resting on top of the mush as it splashed into the acidic juices.

Lifting his aching body from the adrift ball of mush, his eyes adjusting easily to the dark conditions, wiping sweat from his brow. The lion spotted the ruby, floating nearby to the ball, he took in a deep breath and jumped to it. Yelping as he landed, since the ruby bounced when he landed, he feared that his fur would ignite at the simple contact with the boiling acid. Moving his foot slightly to the other edge, he, for now, maintained his balance as he reached into his jacket and pulled out his walkie talkie.

"Hello? I have reached the ruby! You guys can come and retrieve me from the zebra now!" holding the talkie close to his muzzle, he waited impatiently "Hello?!" he screamed back into the talkie once again. Pulling it away from his muzzle, his ears twitched at the static emanating from the silent device, "I am trapped in here." He muttered to himself, losing track of his balance, the back end of the ruby tilted, becoming a short of slippery surf board. Feeling his foot begin to slide, the attempted to dig his claws into the jewel but soon realizing the impenetrable surface offered him no solace as he slipped into the acidic juices.

Joining his fellow feline brothers who suffered the same fate as he soon will, plunging into the burning, the lion let out a deafening growl in protest to his situation, breaching the surface the lion stretched his arms towards the ruby. Kicking his legs with the little energy they still had, his paws brushed the side of the ruby, pinching it with his fingers, he pulled it closer to him. pulling his upper half onto the now acid covered ruby, he gave the jewel a kiss on its glinting surface, the fiery sensation quickly spread itself through his lips, closing his eyes he let his body slide off the ruby one last time. "My pride, my guards and my life is all worth it to be in your presence, if only to be it this once." He said as his body dropped into the juices.

"I am glad you like it too!" he said to his growling stomach as he continued to munch on his sandwich.
