Azria and Lilith were spending the day in town with each other, while Azria had the weekend off. The two of them had gone to Lilith's favourite spot in town, the botanical gardens. Azria helped Lilith sit down on the grass and he brought her close to him, once he sat down next to her.

The day was warm and the sun was shining bright. Illuminating the pool of water underneath the waterfall and sparkle with each reflection in it's waters. Lilith purred as she felt the embrace of her partner beside her, the triplets inside her gently moved around inside their mother as their father gently caressed the belly in which they grew inside of.

"I used to come here often with Zach, back when I was pregnant with the twins," Lilith remarked.

"Well, I may not be Zachariah. But, I didn't realise that ten years later. I would be doing the same thing with you. Bringing you here on our dates," Azria replied, not stopping once while he rubbed Lilith's belly.

"In all honesty, I loved this spot before Zach brought me here," she mewed. "Dad brought me here not long after we moved back from Maine. I loved each time we came to visit on the weekend. It was one of the only times I managed to spend a good amount of time with him," Lilith began to run her eyes around the gardens starting from where she could see of the entrance to the park from where they sat in the open grassy area. Her eyes ran along the garden's edge up to the path and the bridge that sat over the middle of the large pool of water connecting the two sides of the garden together. Lilith let out a small sigh before she continued. "See that bridge there, baby? It used to be red, some fifteen odd years ago. Now, it's pink. The paint faded in the sunlight," Azria chuckled a little as he heard that. "You think they would have repainted it by now wouldn't ya think?" Lilith continued on. "

I would stand there with dad and look at the waterfall. Sometimes if the wind was just right. I could feel the spray of the waterfall hit my fur cooling it from the warm summer heat. Then we would go up the side path there and get as close as we could without getting really wet and sit on the seat that the council had placed up there for couples to watch the waterfall. Dad and I would sit together, similar to how we are. Me not being pregnant, of course. But, he'd embrace me like you do and we would sit together. Not talking and, just watch the waterfall. I loved it, it was such, just such a wonderful time that we spent together. Before I met Zach, before I became pregnant, before I studied photography and became a photojournalist. Before they went to Maine again and before I met you and you got me pregnant."

"Well, sorry about that," Azria apologised to his mate giving her a cuddle. Lilith giggled.

"What's to be sorry about, my mellowpuff. Oh, babe. I couldn't imagine anything more...more amazing than carrying your babies...our babies."

"Being married?" he asked.

"Well, both are just as amazing. But, I know how you are with marriage and with what happened with your parents divorce, I am not surprised that you are not worried about marriage. However, I think me having these three first takes over priority of a wedding." She lightly tapped on her belly with her fingers. Azria nodded and kissed her on the cheek leaning his head on hers. Lilith instantly purring louder and Azria joining in.

Azria looked up towards where Lilith had said there was the seat to the side of the waterfall and there was one. He had taken Lilith there many times before she was pregnant and hearing what she said before. Perhaps she would want to go up there again. "So, wanna go up there and sit by the waterfall?" He asked his mate with a gentle mew.

"Oh no, honey. I am far too pregnant to go back up there. It's much too slippery and I don't really wanna risk slipping on the wet ground up there and hurting myself or the babies."

Azria nodded. "Mmkay. How about just up there on the bridge?" Lilith smiled back at Azria.

"That, I think will be okay," Azria got up first and helped up his heavily pregnant mate and the two of them made their way to the bridge. Lilith began to remember more of those days as a youth. The bridge had certainly become more dirty, grubby and was graffitied on by young foolish couples and their love. There was some slime that had began to grow at the edge of each step that led up to the bridge and some moss that grew around the rocks placed next to it. Wandering up onto the bridge. Lilith held onto Azria tightly and began to read what she could of the writing that was etched into the the rails. Some cursing and swearing, usual stupid behaviour. Couples names etched together surrounded by either a failed attempt at making a heart or the remark '4 eva' poor spelling. Or the dates that the couples got together or people's names crossed out whenever the relationship had ended badly. Other people's names and claiming the date that they visited the waterfall and a couple of incomprehensible wordings of foreigners who had visited the waterfall and followed the locals in the tradition of scratching into the bridges railing.

The two of them made it to the middle of the bridge, they stood together facing the center of the small man-made waterfall and gazed up to it. The sun reflected the small droplets of water forming a small rainbow out of the spray. It hovered in midair to the right of the fall. Lilith held onto Azria's paw and squeezed it tightly as she watched the waterfall from among high. Her other hand on her belly feeling the young within her move gently like the water droplets that hit her fur. "Hopefully one day, dad will bring you here Eira, as my father did with me," she quietly spoke to her daughter who kicked the side of her belly letting her mother know that she was almost ready to come out. Azria overheard her comment and gently squeezed her hand back as recognition that he would do that for her. Lilith didn't look at Azria, she just smiled warmly and watched the waterfall.

After spending a little more time at the botanical gardens. Lilith had become a little peckish and had began to get sore ankles. They hopped into Azria's station wagon and traveled back into town to find somewhere to stop and eat some afternoon lunch.

They drove around for a little bit before going down a side street and parking up wandering around the main street taking a look at some out door cafe areas to see what they'd like.

"So, babe. What do you wanna eat?" Azria asked Lilith. Lilith looked around, there were plenty of people around eating at cafes she was hoping for more of a quiet one and a place where the people didn't stare too much at her belly.

"Shall we head off of the main street and find a quieter place down one of the side roads?"

Azria looked at his mate happily agreeing with her. "Sure!" He smiled. They crossed the road and found the next side road a few meters down the way. There they found a small footpath that led to a small cafe that was hidden away and away from the Saturday crowd. "Think this will do?" Azria asked Lilith, making sure she was fine with it.

"Looks quite nice. Let's go in," she replied.

Inside the cafe, there were only a few tables. Red chairs and a couple of red couches that looked comfy enough. A small counter sat at the entrance with a blackboard above that showed the menu. It was small but it had a cozy feel to it. As though it was an old apartment for couples.

Together they wandered up to order. A young fox came out from the kitchen as Azria rang the bell. She had bright blue eyes and wore a white apron with a yellow flower pattern scattered all over it. The vixen spoke with a strange accent when she greeted the two felines. "Oh, hello there. Welcome to Soul Cafe. What can I get you guys?" she said warmly.

Azria gazed at the menu for a few moments before deciding. "A B.L.T, please with a lemonade. Cheers."

The vixen jotted it down quickly before turning to Lilith. "And for the expecting parent?" she smiled.

"Oh, hmm..." Lilith wasn't entirely sure what she wanted. There were a lot of things that looked good on the menu. Chicken, Beef, or Bacon wraps. Toasted Sandwiches, Nachos, Chicken Salads, Omelettes, Pancakes and the classic Bacon and Eggs. Lilith could almost feel her mouth salivating at all the different delicious items on the menu.

"A Chicken wrap, please. Before I get lost in the menu again," Lilith giggled pulling her head around and before she let her cravings side tract her again.

"Absolutely," the vixen chirped with an even bigger smile. "And a drink for the lovely miss?"

"Chocolate milkshake, one thing I can't go without during this pregnancy."

"No worries, take a seat and I'll go and kick our chef into gear. Take the seats at the back, they'll give you more room to sit down."

"Thanks," Lilith smiled happily.

Lilith and Azria sat at the back of the cafe. There weren't many windows inside the building and was mainly lit by what windows were at the front of the store and light the other building across from it would allow in and the lights that illuminated the place. Lights with strange art pieces it seemed of copper and silver wires. Indie music played in the background as Azria and Lilith heard the barista and chef prepare their things. The vixen came quickly back through and dropped off the chocolate milkshake and lemonade. Both of the drinks were made there it seemed. They couple took a drink and sighed with relief as it hit the spot.

"I wonder who is this that they are playing on their stereo," Azria's ears perked up to the music. Being a rather connoisseur of music himself. Lilith listened to the beat and the vocals for a couple of moments before making a comment.

"Sounds funnily enough like the Phoenix Foundation, mum loved them. Played them often around the house when I was a teen," she replied.

"I like it, it's calming and suits the cozy atmosphere this place has."

"Mhmm," Lilith hummed in agreement."

Waiting for around 10 minutes, the couple sat quietly and just enjoyed each other's company in the small cafe. An opossum entered shortly before their food was delivered, ordered a coffee and sat on the opposite side of the cafeteria to Azria and Lilith. Once the food had arrived, the couple didn't wait to dig in. The meals didn't last long and shortly after, Lilith giggled in happiness as she patted her pregnant belly. "I think that that was filling enough, delicious and should hopefully be good enough for the triplets."

Azria smiled at his pregnant mate. "Good, glad you liked it. My lunch was good, will keep me satisfied for a while at least until dinner." He gave a quick chuckle. "So, now where shall we go?"

Playing with her hair, Lilith began to think. "I could go for an ice-cream."

"Ha, Lilith. You've only just eaten," he exclaimed laughing a with Lilith.

"Hey, I got three babies to feed. That won't last me until dinner. It might you, but it sure ain't with me. Besides, my dessert reserve in my stomach has opened up."

"You have one while so big?"

"Oh hush you, yes. It's a little smooshed but, I think I can stomach it. Pardon the pun."

Azria shook his head. "Okay, baby. It's your day with me, and we can definitely do that."

"Okay, let me freshen up and I'll be right with you," getting up with a huff. Lilith waddled off to freshen up while Azria went outside and waited for his girl. She returned a couple minutes later and locked arms with him and they set off up back to the main street. Looking for a place where they could get some ice-cream. They found an ice-cream parlor not too far along the main street. Lilith grabbed a mint chocolate-chip ice cream whereas Azria decided to go for a cream doughnut, instead. Standing outside the parlor they began to eat their desserts. Lilith took a couple of licks before she glanced at Azria a moment, while he took a look at the time on his phone and his first bite out of his doughnut. She whipped her finger through her ice-cream and grabbed a glob and placed it on Azria's nose.

Azria paused a moment, befuddled at what just happened. Lilith giggled and smiled at her partner as he looked at the bit of mint ice-cream at the end of his nose. Through the doughnut in his mouth he spoke, "What'dya do that for?"

"Because I can!" she chirped back. She then licked it off of his nose and smooched him. Azria then swallowed his mouthful.

"That was unexpected, Lil. What's gotten into you?"

"Nothing, can't I be silly with my mate?" she tilted her head.

"Of course you can!" Azria laughed. "C'mon, let's head home before the traffic picks up."

"Yes, baby," she gave her mate a glance with loving eyes at his cute reaction and followed him back to the car and they made their way home.

Finally at home, the two of them lay on the couch together, Lilith on top of Azria. Hand in his, her belly resting on him and head on his chest. Together they watched Rick and Morty and began a relaxing evening together. The triplets shifted themselves every few minutes or so as even they seemed contempt with the day.

"That was a wonderful outing, Azria. I really did love it," Lilith spoke up.

"Even the part at the waterfall, when you reminisced about the days with your father?" Azria asked.

"Yeah, I especially enjoyed that."

Azria purred to his partner happy that she was happy, "I'm very glad that you did have a good day today, baby. It's good to spend time together. As soon we'll be occupied by these three," he gave Lilith's belly a quick rub with his free hand. "Though we'll be together, we'll just be a little bit more busy and times like these will be a bit more rare."

"Yeah, while it's just the two of us. It's nice. I loved it, every single moment together with you and even now here. I do too. I love you, baby. Thanks so much for today."

"Absolutely, Lil. And I love you with all of my heart." Kissing they embraced each other and patiently waited for the day that their children would arrive. Which would be very soon.
