A Summer Together Pt. 2
Ch. 2
As we arrive we start unpacking I learn that It was Rose's twenty-first birthday her friends are my age, twenty-three, since it was her twenty-first we thought the first day should be a little celebration so we unpacked the car and went out and brought back some drinks. We got back and went down to the lake for a little swim. We sat in the lake having a few drinks messing around. At one point Amber and Shyanne took Rose and I's clothes and towel so I didn't have the keys to the cabin or our phones. After a while we decided to walk back to the cabin. When we got there ,of course, the door was locked so Rose and I sat out in the yard and stargazed until about one in the morning when Amber unlocked the door for us. we ended up going in and passing out on the couch from exhaustion. In the morning we all decided we didn't want to go out at all so we sat in the cabin playing cards and telling each other stories from when we were little. At about six in the evening we decided to go out and shoot my grandfather's old rifle. We easily put two-hundred rounds down range before we decided to go back in. Amber and Shyanne decided to go to bed, but Rose and I stayed up talking and reminiscing about the short time we lived together before our parents split up.
