Bliss
Just a small poem. I got the concept while at work and liked the finished outcome.
Peace
Silence
Darkness
...bum...bum...
A beat, slow and steady
...bum...bum...
He moves
..bumbum...bumbum...
His body tenses, reaching for the sky
It brushes against me
.bumbum.bumbum.bumbum.
Two pools of silver storms find my scarlet cheeks.
.BUMBUM.BUMBUM.BUMBUM.
Darkness hides him, my eyes closed
BUMBUM
His hand
BUMBUM
His lips
BUMBUMBUMBUM
In his kiss is chaos and peace,
Lightning flashes and thunderous roars,
For in that moment, the deafening beat
Of two hearts merge in harmony,
Leaving only blissful silence.
Bumbum
The silence shatters,
A single phrase demands attention
"Good morning, beautiful"
