A New Life in a New Body
Introductions
After I climbed in I saw two others. They were a wolf and a bunny. The wolf who introduced himself as Chris. He was about 5'11'', and looked to weigh about 210 pounds, though I usually can't tell. Looked like he used to be an athlete at some point. His fur was midnight black, it looked awesome. I told him that he really didn't say much.
The bunny was around 5'4'', 5'8'' tall if you count the height of her ears. She was around 110 pounds. Her fur was the color of honey. She was apparently a banker, not a bad job. It beats my old one anyway. She name was Lisa, lovely name.
While on the way there had been a stop. Klaw(the bear) got out told them to stay inside and keep an eye on me. This really worried me when he was gone for several minutes. Punctuated by three shots. He climbed back into the car and slammed his foot on the pedal.
"Unwanted party guests," Chris inquired.
"You know it," Klaw replied.
"Did you have to make us wait so long," Lisa asked.
"Well the fat ass couldn't get out his car," Klaw said.
"Unwanted party guests," I inquired.
"Well let us explain," Lisa said, "well you see it has never been fair for our kind. You have seen public executions they're all over the news. We know everything about you. You were an average kid, average parents, but not so average talents. You were also a very big advocate to furry sites everywhere. You are also a very big hater of the law that executes fury's and furry advocates."
"Hell, enough about that. We found you because of the governments interest in you. So automatically that makes you top priority. Well it never occurred to the "government" that we would bug the phones as well. They did their best to learn all of your dirty little secrets. We had intercepted most of it but we couldn't block all of it. They'd pick up on it. They would kill me and you in heart beat."
"You would become one of us. You are probably one of the only ones they couldn't guess when they would change. Its permanent, you can't go back. Those things are called sniffers they can smell a furry a mile away," She finished.
She went into a lot more detail but I was too distracted. No way to go back? I never in my wildest... ok maybe my wildest but not in any other form of dream I think Klaw knew I was distracted so he turned on the radio and Don't Worry be Happy was playing. I listened to the song the whole way to what I could only assume was a hideout.
We drove into the garage and got out they then lead me to an elevator. We all walked in. Klaw pressed the down button. And grabbed on to looked like a hand rail. Feeling worried I grabbed it too. It in the end was the best idea I ever had. The elevator dropped like a ton of bricks. We were sailing down that shaft at an unreal speed for an elevator. It stopped I let go and fell to the floor. Apparently it isn't the first time this has happened. They didn't laugh at me.
"Well here's home," Klaw said.
"Not much but it works out pretty good," Chris said.
"Here, Let me show you around," Lisa said.
I grabbed her hand and she helped me up. She then proceeded to show me around. I saw the rooms. Looked like they were furnished in the 70's(water beds). The bathroom not much to look at, the exercise room, the kitchen, and the entertainment room. I couldn't believe id never see sunlight again. Basement, sweet basement. She explained the people who live up stairs shelter them and provide food and a ll of the basic amenities of home. I told her I was tired and asked her where i should sleep. She said there was a spare bed in her room I could use that one. So she walked me back there I I went to sleep. My life couldn't be any worse.
