Round Three part 1; Sibling Rivalry
The tournament continues, Angel and Mayra finished their duel with Angel as the victor. Mayra said her good-byes to me and Jackie, and left the stadium. I had to admit seeing her go was saddning, its just me, Jackie Cypress, Angel, Smith Johnson, Josh Matthews, Nancy Cypress, and Singe. Okay enough of this recapping, back to dueling.
Nancy and her brother were next in line to duel. They both made their way to the duel arena, some of the crowd were even cheering for, Jackie. 'Finally some respect, and more importantly I have fans, this is awesome.'
In the back. Some of the other duelist were watching the duel, and among those duelist was Smith.
"This is going to be too easy for, Jackie. I'm outta here." Smith said as he turned to leave, but for some he stopped, and went back to watching the plasma screen. Both Jackie and his sister activated their duel disks, drew five cards, and their life point counters set.
"Let's duel." they both said in unison
Jackie LP:4000 Nancy LP:4000
"I'll start." Nancy said as she drew her card, "I summon Blackwing-Shura The Blue Flame in attack mode (ATK/1800 DEF/1200) and set these two face down, your turn little bro." Nancy monster took to the field and two cards appeared face down.
"Sure thing, sis." Jackie drew his card, "I summon Panther Warrior in attack mode (ATK/2000 DEF/1600) and play Scapegoat." Jackie monster took to the field and four little goats came out. "Good-bye Scapegoat, hello Panther attack." A Scapgoat was absorbed into the sword and the panther attacked.
But his Panther Warrior shattered, taking damage.
"What the? Why did my Panther Warrior get clobbered?" Jackie asked
"Thanks to this." Nancy said as she showed, Jackie a card called; 'Blackwing-Kalut The Moon Shadow'. "When you attacked my Blackwing, I can discard this guy to power-up mines by 1400. And when he destroys a monster I can play another Blackwing from my deck" Nancy explained to her coyote brother. "And I pick Elphin The Raven (ATK/2200 DEF/1200)" Her second monster took to the field
Jackie LP:2800 Nancy LP:4000
"I set this card face down and end my turn." Jackie placed a card in the card slot and it appeared face down.
Nancy drew her card, "Poor Jackie boy, I bet you didn't see that coming?"
"No." Was all Jackie said
"I summon Blackwing-Bora The Spear (ATK/1700 DEF/800)" Nancy monster appeared, "Attack his Scapegoats." All her monsters destroyed Jackie's Scapegoats, leaving him with nothing but a face down card, "I'll end my turn for now, but I'm sorry to say, this is your last turn so make it count, brother."
Jackie hestantly reached for the top card on his deck, 'What am I going to do? My sister has three monsters and I got nothing, but a face down card. I need a mircle.'
In the back. Smith was still standing in the same spot, he didn't even budge. Until he finally spoke, "Nice try, Cypress. I don't think we'll get that rematch you wanted, your finished."
"Why do you doubt, Jackie. Smith?" I asked him
"Why do you even go for him, Spence?" Smith countered
"Because, he's my friend, we've been friends since Fur Academy." I looked the artic fox in his blue eyes and told, Smith "Do you have any friends Smith?" Smith didn't answer me and went back to watching the duel.
Jackie finally drew his card, "Yeah, I activate Monster Reborn to bring back my panther, then I tribute him to summon Jinzo (ATK/2400 DEF/1500) attack her Bora Spear." Jackie's Jinzo destroyed Nancy monster
Jackie LP:2800 Nancy LP:3300
"I end my turn, how does it feel when you're about to be beat by the fan favorite?" Jackie waved to the crowd, and they cheered for him.
"Keep dreaming, bro, my draw." Nancy drew her card, "I summon Blackwing-Blizzard The Far North (ATK1300 DEF/0) and he let's me bring back Bora The Spear in defense mode. I switch the other two to defense position and end my turn."
Jackie drew his card, "I summon Goblin Attack Force in attack mode (ATK/2300 DEF/0) Jinzo attack her bird." His attack landed
Jackie LP;2800 Nancy LP:2200
"Okay Goblins its your turn, attack her Blackwing Shura. And set this card face down and end my turn." His second monster attack landed and it switch to defense mode
Nancy drew her card, "I summon Blackwing-Fane The Steel Chain (ATK/500 DEF/800) and switch all my monsters back to attack mode. Fane can attack you directly. ATTACK!!!" The attack landed
Jackie LP:2300 Nancy LP:2200
"Bora attack his goblins, and when he attacks a defense position monster you take damage." The second attack landed, Jackie still took damage
Jackie LP:600 Nancy LP;2200
'Now when Fane attacks directly I can switch one of your monsters to defense mode, and I choose Jinzo." Jackie's Jinzo switched. "Attack."
"Go face down card, Mirage Tube, when you attack my monster this card activates, you take a 1000 points of damage." but Jackie's Jinzo didn't survive the attack.
Jackie LP:600 Nancy LP:1200
"I synchro summon three of my Blackwings to bring out Blackwing-Silverwind The Ascendant (ATK/2800 DEF/2000) beat that, I end my turn." Nancy new monster appeared on the field
"I can take on anything, come one." Jackie said as he drew his card, "I activate Card Destruction." They discarded every card in their and drew the same amount. "Next I activate Soul Resurection, to bring back my Red-Eyes Black Dragon (ATK/2400 DEF/2000) and activate Metalmorph, so I can summon this Red-Eyes Black Metal Dragon (ATK/2800 DEF/2400) ATTACK her weak monster with Flash Flare Blast." Jackie's metal dragon attack landed
Jackie LP:600 Nancy LP:600
"I'll set this card face down and end my turn."
Nancy drew her card, "I will not lose, I refuse to lose, I set this card face down and end my turn." A card appeared face down
Jackie drew his card, "I'm sorry sis, but I entered in this tournament for one thing and that's respect. I play Ookazi you take 800 points of damage."
Jackie LP:600 Nancy LP:0
The crowed cheered even louder for Jackie's win. His sister walked up to him and said "Good job bro, and good luck in the next round."
