First installment of the series. It was a bit rushed, therefore it's rather short; however, future installments will be longer with twists and turns.

"'It's dangerous to go,' they said. Ha. Damn fools," the panther said mockingly.

A tale passed down from generation to generation in the Panther tribe. That's all it is, he thought. A legend of a great dragon guarding untold riches. A dragon of massive size, capable of destroying entire villages in one powerful flap of its wings, decimating fields with one exhalation of fiery breath, and taking lives through a fell swipe of its piercing claws. A dragon of ferocity and untold carnage when it rose from its resting cave on the darkest nights of the new moon.

It was true that something lurked within the northern cave, though. Fields had been destroyed, but not by burning. Lives had been taken, but not by gargantuan claws, but no village had been destroyed in all the time villagers could remember it being told in this lifetime.

"Those were teeth marks. Bites, not deep cuts and punctures from claws on the discovered corpses," Leonard told the chieftains; however, the old men, set in the ways of old, refused to believe that a feral beast, not a mythical dragon, cause the atrocities that befell the village.

Shorty after that conversation, perhaps a day or so, came the announcement. An announcement by the tribal leaders that turned out to be the straw that broke Leonard's, the most brutal and successful of all the tribe's warriors, back.

"Nothing more can be done regarding the dragon that destroyed our crops and desires the blood of our people," an elderly panther woman said.

"As such, we have deemed it necessary to carry out..." the younger chieftain's words faltered.

"Living sacrifice," continued the eldest man, unable to stand on his own and, therefore, resting upon a large chair.

The announcement was met by a sudden murmur throughout the crowd. Some displeased and objecting, others considering the option; however, none willing to give up anyone that they themselves held dear.

"They will begin in one week, at the break of dawn," the female chieftain continued. "That is the night of the new moon, when the night is at its darkest and... as we all know... when the dragon descends to cause havoc among us."

Immediately after the meeting, Leonard rushed to the Chieftain Quarters and barged in without hesitation or invitation. Pleading his case was to no avail against them. They spoke of the old way of doing things. Sacrificing the villagers to appease the monster who so dreadfully plagued them. They even had the audacity to accuse Leonard of being soft. Not merely one week ago he was promised to be mated to the most beautiful woman in the village. A woman who many a warrior died in battle for, attempting to win her hand. She had been promised to Leonard, and, in the Chieftains' eyes, it was selfish gain he desired in the end- a way to prevent his betrothed from being sacrificed.

That's why the sun rose to his back this morning as he walked away from the village. If reasoning wouldn't work on the elders, then the situation fell into his own hands- he would travel to the cave, find the beast causing the trouble, and slay it. Taking its head back on a pole would surely convince everyone of the stupidity of antiquated beliefs.

The northern cave lied a day's journey from he village. Leonard's trek began early that morning, just before sunrise. Now, however, heat beat down from directly overhead.

"Whatever beast is in that cave, it has stamina," he mused. Even while wearing nothing but a tribal cloth to cover his manhood and a sheathed broadsword tied diagonally across his back, the heat blistered unforgivingly. "Unless the dragon is use to heat from the fire of its own breath."

He laughed at his own sarcasm before realizing that dusk had fallen already. Thinking it wise to rest for the night prior to engaging an unknown foe, he unstrapped the sword, letting it fall to the ground beside a nearby tree. With a heavy sigh, he slid his scar-laden body down the bark of the same tree, closing his eyes.

"Once I slay this beast, I'll return home. That should stop any idea of sacrifices," he muttered, thinking of the woman promised to be his mate. A figure reminiscent of an hourglass, curved in all of the right places. Fur so dark and eyes so deep that any man could easily mistake her for a goddess in the white gown that she often adorned. Lydia was a woman of few words, though when she decided to speak, those words were powerful but coated with sweet honey.

Leonard felt his cock begin to firm under the cloth as he breathed more heavily than before. His toned muscles ached from the battering they'd taken from the trip, and sweat glistened on his body. This pain, he thought, would be worth it to be the first and only warrior Lydia would spend her life with, sharing everything... especially that most sacred treasure of her virginity.

Fantasy proved too powerful for Leonard to be left unaffected. Setting cloth aside and gripping the admittedly large, rising member, he stroked it slowly, thinking of the woman that he would deflower. The other warriors of the tribe had a common bathing area. They had all seen Leonard, who had by far the largest manhood of both young and old. In their tribe, this was looked upon as virile, powerful, and a sign from the gods that one so blessed would give rise to the next Chieftain. It was no surprise to anyone that Lydia, symbolized as a goddess of fertility walking upon earth, was promised to him.

"Lydia... I'll return... and when I do, you'll be mine, my goddess," he grunted as his nine inch rod pulsed within his paw. Precum beaded at the tip, collecting with each increasing stroke of his barbed dick. "Sh-shit... I must be pent up. I'm... already close."

Gripping his cock with both hands and laying flat on the ground, the warrior thrust his hips up repeatedly. "Yes, Lydia! Take this mighty cock! Feel true pleasure from a true warrior!"

With a final thrust upward, Leonard couldn't hold back. His large balls lurched upwards as he grunted loudly, his cock throbbing before a thick stream of alabaster white cum erupted from the tip and into the air, coming to land on his torso just before another load followed suit. Six pumps of seed forced its way out into the cool air and onto Leonard until his face, neck, and chest were a white mess. Panting heavily, he let go of the softening flesh, which flopped wetly against his toned abs.

"God..." he panted heavily, relaxing his muscles. "I'll have to bathe before going to battle, but... for tonight..." he stretched heavily with a content yawn before scooting up against the tree, next to his sword, "I'm going to get some rest."

Moments later, his head drooped in a deep, weary sleep under the darkness of the starless sky. A sleep so deep, in fact, that the nearby rustle of bushes and deep, menacing growl went completely unnoticed.
