#3 of Drag-On Days

A loud, bestial roar echoed through the green hills of Svilindor, a region neutral to the wars of King Dvilka of Ktelech, and Queen Scyeethe. The fight was over none other than land. A dispute a decade old, with neither side winning, only casualties.

"HOW COULD THEY GET AWAY!? Fool, Dvilka! You let her get away!" It was the massive Holy Dragon, and his neck was bloodied as well as his right wing scorched.

"It's not my falt! She's the one too obsessed with pretty things to even bother in helping out! Yell at her!" With this they both looked to Dvilka's wife, Tricia, who simply spun around, giggling.

"Oh she was so pretty! Even prettier than you, Volich, so I wouldn't dare to hurt her! Nope, nope, nope!" she giggled again, and moved towards the entrance of the roost.

"Oh shut up you daft woman." King Dvilka spoke, wishing his family and hers had never met. Had never forced them to marry. Not like it mattered, Tricia, though a very beautiful woman, and at one time, very...together, more so than she showed, was like this, mostly because the man she married, his family slaughtered and stole her family's riches, instead of sharing power, even forcing the kingdom's troops and peoples to join under their banner, lest they face death by treason. "What are we to do, Volich, she is too far away by not for you to even remotely catch up enough to get her scent, and we can't fly! And don't you even make the excuse about us being Magikal. We're only powerful in our might of natural forces, such as fire, water, earth. The wind was lost to us long ago."

"Excuses, excuses, excyooooooses!" Tricia giggled out those words madly. Then even Tricia would straighten out, as all three of them tensed, and looked outside the roost, as a shadow popped out, as if from no where. A person dressed in a dark brown robe, hood covering the manly figured ones face.

"I know exactly where your prey is. I know their backup home. I know exactly everything about them." Spoke the stranger.

"Oh really? And why should we believe you? Some idiot who thinks eavesdropping is the latest thing to do!?" exclaimed Dvilka.

A hand pulled back the hood, revealing just who the person was, who the voice belonged to.

"Because I am the only friend Arthur has." Mikael's facial muscles twitched, and revealed a grin, sadistic, evil.
