"What's done is done!"

-The Tragic Moral Story of Jasper the Fox-

Within another time and or existence...where magic, humans, furries and beings of unimaginable power exist together. It is here within this world where our story beings...

Within a tower of stone, wood and dry rot a human Magi lived with his young assistance, a Fox furry named Jasper aka "Lumpy." The Magi raised the young Fox up from pup, and to the Magi Jasper was the son he never had. Jasper was a pup who was lovingly conceived from the union of a lone traveling Fox who was his father and one of the Magi's most trusted female Fox servants. Jasper's father came to the tower looking for work many years ago, the Magi gave him a job and the responsibility of maintaining and keeping the grounds around the tower cleaned and well looked after. Well one day the two met each other and from time to time they became better and more acquainted with each other and then shortly there after...intimate. When Jasper's father learned that his lover was pregnant with his pup, he was overjoyed! Saving up every copper coin he had and even worked extra hard for a little more, he told Jasper's mother that he was heading out into the nearby city and would arrange for a priest to marry them both and at the same time buy a ring of pure gold for her. She couldn't have been more happier. One day Jasper's father left the tower and promised to return very soon...he never did. Over the following months Jasper grew within his mothers womb and she still waited for her lover to return. She waited for him every evening just after she finished her assigned duties. She would just stand there outside the tower gate and all the while longed to see her lover and future mate come within eyesight upon on the road. One unfortunate night a road patrol of Jackal guards stopped by the tower and brought forth three things to Jasper's mother. A signed and sealed notice for a marriage arrangement between her and Jasper's father, a corroded but still in good shape gold ring and bad new. His father's body was found just almost two miles out of the city limits, he had taken a bad fall and broken his neck upon his returning journey to the tower. Upon hearing this his mother was heartbroken and instantly went into labor. With the help of the Magi, Jasper was born safely into this world...but his mother lost her will to live and died shortly after his birth. Feeling that it was his personal responsibility to look after the child of his most trusted servant and dearest friend...the Magi adopted him and named him Jasper. Jasper was bestowed with the nick name "Lumpy," by the tower servants because he was very clumsy and had a habit of braking and or destroying everything he touched...the kitchen staff lives in fear of him getting into trouble and having to be sent to work with them in the kitchen as a punishment. Jasper was fun loving fox and that made all his school lessons feel like a life sucking bore. The Magi insisted that Jasper be educated and thus earn a better life then that of a clumsy servant. Jasper would just sit there board in the classroom all the while his teacher scrolled down his lessons on a chalkboard...but despite his disliking for schooling he completed it anyway. On day of his 16th birthday he was chosen by the Magi to be an apprentice in the arts of the arcane. Showing a remarkable talent for magic, he exceeded all the Magi's expectations...but Jasper was still young at heart and had a habit of misusing his new found powers just for the purpose of having fun. Turning the tower guards ale into horse piss, summoning mischievous spirits to torment the other Foxes who teased him and last but no least...turning frogs into hopping stink bombs...it was all good fun, but something a young apprentice Magi should not be doing and he was often in trouble with his father and master. One day he accidentally bumped into the most prettiest Fox he had ever seen before in his whole life! Her red fur captured and ensured his eyes, her blue eyes were like ocean he would give anything to swim in, the lips on her muzzle made him want to lock his muzzle with hers and that long flowing tail of hers...it wrapped right around his heart and every time he saw her...he got very clumsy! She teased and flirted with him over the past few days, then one day he told his love for her and using his magical powers, treated her with beautiful illusions. She was flattered that he felt this way for her...but she was not interested in courting with him. He was a very handsome Fox and destine to become a great Magi, the other females would have most defiantly turn bright green with envy, if they had learned of his affection for her...but she only wanted the life a common Fox and not be the mate of a powerful Magi. So she politely turned down his affections. Heart broken at first, but he wasn't going to give up! He tried again and again many times to win her heart...he failed each and every time. His love for her soon turned to anger and he gave into fits of rage and started jinxing her. Causing the laundry she cleaned to suddenly become filthy and filthier each time she try to clean it. Giving life to her broomstick and forced her to chase it around the tower and made her late in getting done the morning chore of sweeping the floors. She soon had enough and reported his actions to his master and father. The Magi confronted Jasper about his actions and demanded to know why he was misusing his gifts. Jasper explained it was because he was in love with her but she would not return his affection. The Magi scolded Jasper and told him that she was well within her right to refuse him and that he should respect her decision, forget her and move on. But Jasper was not about to do that!

He was powerful will his spell craft, even if he were to become the most powerful of all Magi's there was thing a Magi cannot do...Alter the affections of the heart. If he wanted to he could have slip her a lust potion, which would make her yearn and want to mate with him, but that's not what he wanted...he wanted her to love him as much as he loved her. Throwing himself deep into arcane studies he desperately tried to find a loop hole to allow his magic to affect her decision and make her love him. One day he found just what he was looking for. Within the magical world is a being known as a Wish-Granter, a being with simi-god like powers that can alter fate, time, and the hearts of others. He brought this before his master and asked about it. His master told him that such a being is to never be summoned, for the Wish-Granter will granted any wish it's summonor wants...but there is a price for the wish and the price is never the same and is always way too high! Jasper did not heed his masters advice for he was already blinded by his emotions and he was desperate to make the one he loved his! That night when his master was well asleep, he snuck into the summoning room with the book incantations and spell formulas that allowed the user to summon any spiritual thing into being. Opening up the book he proceeded with what was required for the ritual. Everything was in place and all he needed was to call forth the great being. In a loud commanding voice he called forth the Wish-Granter, a surge of power exploded and was followed by the apparition of a great horned being standing in the center of the summoning room. This was the Wish-Granter. He approached the apparition and demanded that it grant his wish and that he was willing to pay any price. The being was more then happy to grant Jaspers wish and told him all he needed to do was ask. He made his wish and it was for the female servant girl to fall desperately in love with him and that she will marry him, be his mate, bear his pups and that they be together form now until the end of there lives. The Wish-Granter said in a booming voice; "Your wish is granted!" Just then something happened to Jasper, he felt different and did not know what it was until he remember what he wished for. To his shock the love he had felt for the servant girl was no longer there! He felt nothing for here...in fact he was not even happy thinking about being married to her. He demanded to know what the Wish-Granter had done to him. The Wish-Granter told him he had granted his wish and that he needed something from Jasper to make it happen. What the Wish-Granter did was take Jasper's love and gave it to the servant girl, leaving him feeling nothing but...emptiness for her. Jasper demanded the Wish-Granter to undo the wish, but the Wish-Granter refused; "What's done is done!" it told him and just then the summoning magic that held the being in this world dissipated and the Wish-Granter vanished. The next day the servant girl came running up to Jasper and told him that she had been such a fool and that she just the other night realized that she really truly loved him and that she wanted him to marry her. As the Wish-Granter had said; "What's done is done!" Jasper had no choice but to marry the servant girl. They were married and even though she loved him with all her heart...he did not love her. He sold his love for a wish and now he has to pay for it from now...till the end of there lives.

The End
