It turns out that the history of Athlanti is actually pretty interesting. Being the only city on Fauhna founded by the Dhrag, it is one of the most significant ancient settlements recorded in our timeline. If what I've been reading is true, Athlanti is, or was, the most technologically advanced culture center on the planet.

The Dhrag, also known as Dhragons, are a reptilian race descended from the scaled Fauhnans of the Reptic Basin.

In 2567, after a strange astral event called the Starfall, the first generation of Dhrag were born in the desert settlement of Crucible to the Reptii, one of the four original Reptic clans. ( Reptii, Reptir, Reptai, and Reptar)

When very young these children were indistinguishable from any of the other Reptii, but as they grew older it became clear that they were, in fact, very different from their elders. Jump ahead several years and you can see records of abilities once thought only to be possessed by the Gods appearing in children all throughout the Reptic nations.

In addition to this, these new reptilians, known at the time as the Children of Reptii, grew wings and horns, their scales changing from their traditional desert colored hues into brilliant and sparking shades of every color imaginable. Initially received as a gift from the gods, these children were seen as powerful tools sent to lead the Reptii into an age of prosperity, but it soon became clear to them that they were anything but.

Over the years following their birth, the Children of Reptii grew stronger and more independent than most found comfortable. Their abilities began to intimidate and terrify their friends and family, leading many to be alienated, ignored, and eventually exiled from their community. Expelled from Crucible, those of this new generation began to band together in face of this discrimination, creating a separate clan and council within the Reptic order, the Dhrag. Eventually the toil became too much and they separated themselves altogether from their people, establishing their own nation on the southern edge of the Reptic Gorge directly across the Crucible bridge from their hometown.

The Children of Reptii began their first settlement in the most earnest sense, naming it Alta as a tribute to the royal bloodline of the Reptii. Starting as a small circle of huts built around a watering hole, the village quickly expanded into a bustling city, becoming a major trade point between the north and south regions of Diahuia. Around the year 2700, after the establishment of four satellite villages, the city's name is changed to Atlas.

Considered an independent nation at the time, Atlas and its satellite villages resided within the region where the modern city of Reptii now stands. In the years following this development, Atlas became the technological center of the Diahian continent and began to influence the political and social affairs of every nation known at the time. It is then that The Children of Reptii began to call themselves the Dhrag.

Throughout it all, the Dhrag came to learn that they were not only more powerful and beautiful than their parents. They had also been gifted incredibly long lives. On average a healthy Dhrag could live for at least a thousand years, often many thousand more. Most only died when stricken by severe illness or killed in battle.

Once they reached their hundredth year, the Dhrag gained the ability to transform themselves into the creatures that are commonly known throughout the galaxy as Dhragons. As a result of this, the Dhrag experienced a vast increase in their physical and magical abilities around their first 100 year mark, which led them to expand the city once again to accommodate the size of their new forms. Through further advancement the Dhrag began to develop a system magic based technology which they later use to reconstruct the main city after the Sandstorm of Shalharan. Four hundred years after the establishment of the small town of Alta, the city of Atlas and its satellite villages, aided by the Dhrag's advanced technology, rose up from the earth and into the sky, becoming what we now know as Athlanti. The Dhrag, now mobile, began to travel across the planet staving off war and poverty until, after about 4'720 years of providing charity service, they vanished off the face of the planet. This happened just a few months before the establishment of the Animihlian union.

That's all I've been able to find out so far. Everywhere I've looked the trail ends there. After that there isn't really any mention of Athlanti as an actual place, it's more of a legend, a tale of a long ago utopian nation that disappeared when the dark times arrived. Some say that the Dhrag will someday return and lead us all to salvation. Many believe that Athlanti was actually Solaria and that the land of the gods was once in the mortal realm before our kind became corrupt and our gods left us to suffer at the hands of our own cruelty.
