A background story detailing about how kaylah carmine joined guardian.
So.... i'm not good at telling story's but... ill tell you mine.. im Kaylah Carmine..now wait... i'm... *ahem* it all started 5 years ago. I was sitting on the sidewalk with my friend kira trying to chow down on some shitty Pork Donald's burgers talking about trying to get some funds when i saw it. Some security officer given some girl a sweet talk, she refused his advances and he kept pushin, it was pissin me off and i could see she was getting uncomfortable. I shrugged it off a little but as she left down the ally he pulled a fuckin baton and was gonna go ham on her.. i without thought drop kicked the fucker and beat the snot outta him. After that the woman ran away and i hid in a old factory not far from the burger joint waiting till the heat died. Kira found me and sorda looked concerned. She sighed at me said nothing and just rolled with it like it was nothing. Once it was clear i left and for the rest of the night i couldn't stop thinking about how shitty the governments work was... it's like they didn't fuckin care and just let shit happen. The next day i got some of my friends together some of them i knew would be willing to do something to change things. we spent a lotta time discussing what we could do and kira suggested we storm the big government building in the heart of the city and make a protest. Naturally i agreed. Kira said she sent some friends up ahead to check out the place just so security wouldn't be too troublesome but when i got there it was....not how i imagined it. The place was ablaze and loud with gunfire rioters were attacking the building, security was gettin murdered and gunned down i couldn't do anything. Kira handed me some machine gun pistol and bellowed out some war cry and chuckled like it was some kids party. We stormed into the main office of the leading government officials i didn't know what to do.. i wanted to do something but not murder people blindly... Kira didn't even take a second to think before she cackled in a eerily gleeful manner as she gunned all of them down, the room walls now red and filled with smoking bullet holes. I remember feeling sick as kira asked me "isn't this a fun way to sort problems?" i just ran and ran from that building as far as i could till i reached the beach and flopped onto the sand tears in my eyes...a guy stood over me and looked down at me hands in his pockets... he wore a weird hood and looked like a dog anthro. He helped me up and said "it's gonna be alright" i wanted to believe him but seeing what i just saw made it difficult. He asked me if i wanted to join his company and that if i joined id be able to help those who suffered but not in the way she did.. i dunno how he knew her but it was clear she wasn't my friend anymore. Naturally i accept his offer despite it seeming a little far fetched i wanted some hope i could do something to help the city and the world.He helped me to my feet and told me he had sent some friends to push back the rioters and get a hold of the situation. for a long time i couldn't shake how weird this all was. one minute storming a building, the next watching my friend shoot people to death and then joining some dudes troupe of hero's and fighting for a cause. seemed like a bad nightmare turned a dream.. I guess i'm pretty damn lucky to be where i am now... ~ Kaylah Carmine
