Skilled Pilot- Previously a Commander in the EEC Military she is extremely skilled as a pilot
Immortal?- As a byproduct of all the technological and genetic futzing the scientists did to her she has yet to find something able to kill her, experiences thus far include what should have been fatal energy weapon and ballistic weapon wounds, exposure to deep space vacuum and extreme rad exposure. All without causing her death, as a side note she also seems to be impervious to rad poisoning
Rad Immunity-Immune to Radiation's negative effects
Drawbacks: Anti-EEC sentiment- Because the EEC Military Lied to her about the reality of the mission she had been sent on and the resultant changes that came from her discovery of the truth she rather despises the EEC and has been known to actively instigate stellar dog fights with EEC policing forces

Description: A geneticly moddified fox with black and purple fur, she dresses in a common style called goth resurgence from her own era despite the radically different styles of the current day when not in her flight attire. Her flight suit is a standard issue EEC Commanders Flight suit with all EEC Rank and insignia removed.
Biography: 2566- Nicolas Cross was reassigned from combat pilot to commander of a Research vessel, On the surface it looked like any legitmate Research ship in the EEC's fleet but underneath something far more sinister was taking place. Somewhat pissed at his reassignment he unhappily accepted his new orders and rank, and took command of the vessel the EEC-Talos. Right from the start something felt off about the assignment, first a commander rank officer of a Mid size Research class vessel would normally have access to ALL of the ships data logs but he found that the Aurora Project files were above even his Clearance, secondly, his orders had him Taking the ship on a 13 year Mass drive jump from the Sol system to the Ministry system, an uninhabited and almost planetless star system that was well documented as being utterly devoid of resources save for the natural solar energy of the star ministry XK-Pluto IV. Right from the start of their time in Ministry the EEC-Talos began receiving prison transports, Every six months like clockwork a new Prison transport dropped out of Mass Drive into Ministry space to deliver another cargo of "Test Subjects" For project Aurora. Lambs to the slaughter was more like it, thus far the experiments seemed to be going badly and Cross had lost count of how many closed caskets had been ejected into the sun by the time he could no longer allow the travesty of the slaughterhouse his ship had become to continue, at least...not without finding out what the hell Aurora was. Fearing what repercussions might come from his resolve might bring him he used the hacking skills that had sent him down the military road in the first place to copy and hide his full documentation in the EEC's Systems, as well as all of his captains logs and personal logs inside the Talos's systems, just in case. Some liquor, deft hands, and soon Cross had gained a hold of an access card to the Aurora research area. Inside he discovered a horror show of extremely illegal experiments being performed. Psionics, banned genetics, extremely banned cybernetics. He couldnt believe it, he had been assigned to a black ship. Everything made sense, the prison transports, being sent to the hell hole that was Ministry, his lack of access. On one hand he was not given clearance for aurora for plausible deniability, on the other, he had shaped up since he became an EEC Military Man. He followed rules now, obeyed the law to the T...and here he was, unknowingly the commanding officer of what could be considered the definition of Playing God. His stealth mission into the Aurora Research wing hadnt been as stealthy as he had thought though and was captured. Stripped of rank, and military standing he was given far more knowledge of Aurora than he had ever wanted....by becoming a Research subject. Placed into stasis, they first subjected him to a highly experimental genetic restructurization, that so far had proven fatal in 100% of tests. Somehow he survived though wasnt aware, as they kept him in stasis. Although, he was now a she, and a female Anthro fox. While in stasis, he became project aurora, with phase 1 finally successfull, they implemented the next 4 phases. Implantation of psionics to make the perfect soldier, and implantation of cybernetics to give them the ability to fully control her which would fully turn her into nothing more than a slaved servitor soldier. It was durring phase 4 final activation of servitor cybernetics that the accident occured. Her psionic telekinetics were shorted causing a violent and ship wide psionic blast that stopped the hearts and exploded the brains of all on board...save for the epicenter the still in stasis Project aurora. The Talos detecting no life signs went into a low power state, following the only unoverideable command its computers had in the event of loss of crew, keeping aurora in stasis.
2996- Salavagers discover the Talos in orbit around Minitry XK-pluto IV/2 (the second planet in the Ministry system) scans revealing no life signs they prepped the talos for a tethered FTL jump to the sol system. Delivered to the EEC engineers marveled at the ancient ship and were shocked when internal exploration yielded the research wing that was, for the ships time, Very very illegal. Their surprise was only heightened when they Discovered Aurora, the first successfuly geneticly altered Anthro. Upon reviving her from stasis, her reintegration into society went....well...less than desireable for her. Because of what had been done to her, as well as her rediscovered dossier, she had cleverly hidden. She was pressed back into service of the EEC Military. Because of her Perfect Expertise, she was transferred ironicly, into a new Pilot program...named Project Aurora. building off of the existing cybernetics that had originally sought to enslave her will, they now became an instrument to link her fully with her ship. Placed in command of a mid size combat ship once more, she now had every aspect of the ships performance fed directly into her mind, the side effect being, pain caused if the ship took damage. With her new Perfect expertise though she was almost unmatched, and when she locked out the crew and went AWOL no pilot could even lay a shot on her shields. She ran because she couldnt serve the EEC any longer, not if the only thanks she received for her suffering, and attempted reporting of a black ship was this new body, these unwanted abilities, and a gold star and more experimental tech implanted into her.
2997-99- Aurora spent the first few months getting used to having all of her ships systems and weapons being a part of her now. Once she was able to sort out all the Data streams it was actually quite incredible. There was no need for a Hud on cockpit window. The hud was directly in her eyes. She saw everything with her own eyes. After that period she became a mercenary and now present day, she is taking a month off of the merc buisness to relax and enjoy some down time while her ship gets repaired after a particularly nasty encounter with some EEC- Military craft. After all the Talos technically still belonged to the EEC. But as far as she was concerned the ship was hers and hers alone.
