Dreams [Filler]

I decided that having everyone go back to my FA to get caught up on everything was a little tedious, so I made a filler chapter of sorts.

This will help everyone get caught up on what had happened before the first chapter, and also have some forward motion for the story.

I'm going to try and make it a personal goal of mine to post a new chapter on Tuesdays.

Till then, I hope you enjoy this

I opened my eyes and looked around, everything was foggy at first, but then started to clear up. It was late afternoon, early evening time, there were trees and bushes on the sides of me. As I sat up, I could see I was in the middle of a dirt road, but I had seen this road before. I started to get up then brushed the dirt off my cloths, but I stopped, frozen in my own realization. This was the road from the school to the home. This was my town. At first I was happy, but then was confused; was everything that happened a dream? I hear a scream behind me, making me turn around quickly. I froze in horror, my eyes grew wide in disbelief, tears formed and began to stream down my face. I saw my younger brother, the tall wolf with the green hair, and my younger sister, the blonde haired wolfess; laying on the ground, bleeding and unconscious. I break free of my fear and run to them. I slid in between the two, trying not to cry, knowing I had to be brave for the both of them

"Mikey! Tay! Get up!" Neither one of them responded or moved to my commands. I reach for my brother to shake him, but watched in disbelief as my hand passed right through his body. I screamed and fall back. This was some kind of dream, it had to have been. Before I could think more about this I saw something beside me fly into a tree, going from one side of the road to the next. The impact was loud and made me jump. I slowly got to my feet and moved to see what it was. As I got closer, I quickly realized what it was; it was Jonathon, the captain of the school football team. He was a large wolf, standing at a good six foot, and was muscle bound like no other. He looked badly beaten; cuts and bruises took over most of his grey coat. He started to softly cry, then whimpered out

"Please don't kill me." What? The biggest wolf on campus was begging for his life? Finally, my memory came back to me; the air became colder, it grew quiet, except for the breathing. The heavy, hate filled breathing that was behind me. I slowly turned around and saw him. A lion; standing at five foot and three inches, with a dyed black mane, that was naturally straight, coming down over one of his eyes. It was me. I was the very beast behind this carnage. I could look behind this vengeful version of myself to see two other football players, also badly injured, like the one that was now behind me. My sight was quickly placed back at this angry incarnation of myself. I know when this happened, I was after the team captain for attacking my brother and sister. This being slowly opened his eyes, making me step back in horror; the pupils, they were black as night, and the iris, it was shinnying with a bright gold, a slit separating it, and he was looking right at me. Despite the real target being behind me, this being was looking at me, his eyes focused on my own.

"...What are you?" I waited for an answer, but this mirror of myself, lunged at me, letting out a loud, unworldly roar. I covered up and closed my eyes, trying to shield myself from the attack.

"LEON NO!"

"...Dad?" Was he my father truly here? I slowly opened my eyes, then quickly opened them and looked around. I was suddenly in my house, standing in the kitchen. What kind of dream was this? Was this some kind of test? My train of thought was cut short as I heard a bang from behind me, making me turn around to face it. It was myself again, I had slammed my fist into the table and cried out to my parents

"WHAT AM I?!" I remember now. This was when they finally told me of why I, a lion, grew up in a house of wolves. They had found me at their door step about eighteen years ago. A lion cub, abandoned in the cold evening of December, with a note attached to the very blanket covering me. That note, I know, that the contents of that note will be with me for the rest of my life.

"This cub is cursed. He is meant to cause much pain in this world as he grows into the age of a full grown. It can be stopped, but not by me; thusly, I leave him here. The love that you two share can help keep his heart from becoming black and destructive. He will begin to discover his powers near the age of an adult. It might be subtle, or dreadful, but when this happens, love him still; your love will keep him pure. This demon could be an Angel."

I watched myself yell at my parents about what I had done, and couldn't help but to softly weep as I did. All I did after I had finally heard the truth, was yell at my parents and curse the world. All they did, was show me love; that's all they did when they first found me and despite what I had done, were still showing me unconditional love. I had to look away from the scene and closed my eyes. I wanted to go home and be with my family again. I opened my eyes again, I was outside my house this time. I looked up at the roof line, I couldn't see past it, but I knew my past self was up there. I then looked up at the sky, thinking about everything that had happened in such a short amount of time. Was I truly meant to be a monster to bring pain to those around me? The demon of some kind of prophecy? That's when it all hit me. I need to find my past, to find out where it is I truly came from. If I could find that out, I could understand the demon that I am, and change that. As I clenched my fist as I finally realized the completely true fact. The only way to accomplish my goal, was through the guidance of the dragon. I suddenly felt a strong, hot gust of air hit me. I stared at the tree line where it had come from, but saw nothing. As I moved closer, it hit me again, almost sweeping me off my feet. I growled and quickly dashed into the dark woods to find the source. I jumped through the trees and bush as fast as I could, wanting answers, the truth. I could not truly see through the darkened woods, which then lead to my foot suddenly getting caught by an uplift tree root, which made me crash into the ground. I lay there in a subtle pain, when I suddenly felt the earth quake violently underneath me. I look to either side of me, I see a pair of thick, giant feet surround my tiny being. I quickly looked up, seeing a towering giant being looming over me in the night. It suddenly opened its eyes, shimmering with a bright, yet familiar green. Suddenly, a deep and stern voice finally came from its form

"Arise My Little One."
