Chapter 6 of the series. I haven't have the best week, but I'll make it. Till then, enjoy yourself with a little distraction from everyday life. Thanks for reading!!!

Broken Chains

I watched with wide eyes as the kindly old waitress ignited into flames. Her body was devoured and replaced by a living phoenix. I could see her as she spread her wings, and wrapped them around Whittaker's barrier of light. I stood behind Brandon as he watched with me. I could hear a low growl and moved just in time to dodge a pouncing tiger. He missed me, but caught Brandon. "There ya are," said Edward as he pinned him down by his head.

"Get off him," I screamed as I came up and tried to rip him off the wolf.

"Ah, you again, I want my arm back," he said as he slammed Brandon into the ground hard, dazing him as he leapt at me. I jumped, but his claws caught me on my left arm, digging in deep. I screamed, and pulled back, the piece of flesh that was once there, faded and formed outside his grip. I was getting better at this as my hands began to disappear, replaced by what looked like flames that ate light. I punched him, but only caught the edge of his jacket, watching the material vanish.

"You want your arm? I'll send you to where it is." I said as I walked towards him, the darkness crawling slowly up to my shoulders.

"Whittaker, any moment now," he said as he looked back at his partner.

"Kinda busy, just grab the wolf!" he said as Charlene finally broke through his barrier and began to scorch the earth around him. He slashed at her with his sword, and a wave of silvery light came out. She braced herself for the impact and fell back as it crashed and froze the earth around her. She shook off the frost and became pure light once more. Edward growled, and jumped back, taking Brandon and running off. I screamed after him, I swore I wouldn't lose him again.

"Get back here!" I screamed, my voice becoming dark once more. I became part of the night as the void skittered across my skin.

"Oh no you don't," said Whittaker as he tossed his lantern over at me before diving to avoid a blast from Charlene. I winced as it hit the ground, and the light emerged from it, blinding me. I fell to the ground, holding my eyes as they filled with tears. I realized I felt the coldness of the ground. I was normal again. The lantern began to float on its own, and quickly spun, smashing against my face. I hit the ground hard as the light flew back to its owner. I screamed as I watched Brandon disappear on top of the roof of a nearby building over Edward's shoulder. Charlene took one look at Whittaker and flew away, right towards me. I flung my arms up to block the heat, but there was none. She picked me up, but her flames didn't burn me.

"Come on sweetie, let's get Brandon back," she said as she carried me after Edward. I could see Whittaker disappear in a flash of light. My mind was set on tracking Edward. I could see his shadow move as Charlene lit the night up. I tried to focus, but my hands wouldn't phase. I cursed myself, the one time I wanted to let the darkness comes out, to enter the void, but it wasn't there, just the dark confines of my mind, my own sadness, and anger. "I can't hit him without risking Brandon. Baby, you gotta stop him!"

"I can't, I can't do anything right now, that light, it did something to me," I said, tears forming on the corner of my eyes, some from the speed of the flight, some from anger at myself.

"Well, if you think Brandon's gonna be fine, let's hope this works," she said, pointing a hand ahead of Edward. I could feel the heat coming from her hand. The ground ahead began to waver, and warp. Edward screamed as the ground burned beneath him. She made a path, forcing him to travel into a dead end. She dropped me off and cornered him. "Drop him!"

He took one look at her, and did. I walked up to him, and pushed him away from Brandon. He held his head as he looked at me. I wanted to rip him to shreds, but lacked the power to at the moment. He stared back and looked over his shoulder. I looked at Charlene, "Fry him," I could see a smile in her form as she raised her palm towards him. At that moment, Whittaker dropped down from behind Edward and stabbed his blade into the ground. The ground in front of us crumbled, and we fell through except for Charlene who flew up.

I caught myself catching on to some protruding rebar as I held on to Brandon in my other hand. He was heavier than he looked as I strained to keep him up. "Don't let them get away!" I screamed at her as I let go and landed the short fall. I looked up and like a comet, she was gone. "Brandon, wake up," I said, slapping his face gently.

"What? I'm up, I'm up," he said as he stood up. "Where the fuck are we?"

"I don't know, but we got to get out of here before someone else gets here," I said.

"Alright, hold on," he said, scooping me up, and jumping through the hole in the roof. We flew high, and landed on another building. "Where's Charlene?"

"She went after them, think she'll be fine,"

"Yeah, she can hold her own," he said as we watched out in the night as she left a trail of light speeding out of the city.

"We got to find Andrew," I said as I held my shoulder.

"Alright, if he's out there, I know where he'll be, are you okay?"

"Not really, I think I tore something in my shoulder, and I can't use my powers, fucking Whittaker did something to me,"

"Alright, hold on, this might hurt a bit," he said as he press his hand against my shoulder. I screamed as it felt like my joint was shredded to pieces. I breathed hard as I found the strength to push Brandon away on reflex. Whatever he did worked though, as I could now move my shoulder once more. "It's gonna feel sore for a while,"

"Thanks," I said reluctantly, and we were off once more. Buildings and streets blurred passed us as he ran towards downtown. We leapt through a window in one of the older buildings, and landed. He set me down as I looked around, some of my vision returning to me in the dark. I could see that we were in a library of sorts. Before us, candles lit, and hung off of dusty rungs in the walls. "Where are we?"

"Old library building, basement level, this here is where Andrew usually hangs out,"

"Why?"

"You'll know when ya meet him," he said, feeling slightly uneasy.

"What's wrong?"

"Well, we sorta, umm...dated a while back,"

"Oh..."

"Yeah..."

We both let the awkwardness pass as we wandered down the hall to find the lore keeper. I expected to find some small tiny creature with thick glasses, hidden behind a towering stack of books. I was about half right when we saw him. Andrew was a massively huge bear, the thick glasses were there as well as the dusty books. "Good evening gentlemen, what can I ask is your business tonight?"

"Big..." I let slip out as I looked at him.

"Hello Andrew," Brandon said as he stepped forward.

The big bear took of his glasses, "Brandon? Is that you?" he said as he blinked and ran up to hug him. I could hear some of his bones cracking before he finally set him down.

He coughed a bit before standing up again, "Ung, yeah, it's me, sorry to drop in like this, but we could use some help,"

"Whos this?" he said as he gave me a poke.

"That's Aiden, he's a void seeker,"

"What?! You better get him out of here before he levels the city,"

"Why does everyone keep saying that?" I said as he looked at me like a child playing with a tactical nuke.

"You're dangerous boy," said Andrew as he walked around me.

"Andrew, we need you to help him with his abilities, also, we're kinda being chased by a slayer and an one armed vamp."

"Oh my," he said as he returned to his desk. "Very well then, but you owe me one," he said as he snapped his fingers, a book flew off the shelf and hit me in the side of the head.

"No need to be jealous," said Brandon as he caught the book and me.

"Well Brandon, as I recall you owe me a lot already, especially after the day you left."

"What could I do? I wasn't going to sit there and let a horde of angry spirits just wait around the city."

"You always try to find a way to justify everything, but word is your days are being numbered. Also, what is Aiden to you? Obviously no guardian, if you have to come to me for what he should already know. Oh I see it know, age does that to you," I thought about it, he didn't look very old, "Just another pawn isn't he? Why don't you tell him Brandon, or you no longer keeping sacrifices to a minimum?"

"What is he talking about?" I asked.

"Nothing, just old business, centuries ago,"

"Oh no, history has a funny way of repeating itself. And your history, is a long trail of blood you've left since I've known you."

I leaned in to Brandon, "You dated this guy?"

"More like used," he said, over hearing us.

"If you don't like him, why did you even help us then?" I asked.

"I won't lie, I still have feelings for him, even though it may have been over a hundred years ago, but I don't want to see the same thing happen to you kid, you're different."

"Andrew, I'm sorry, but what must be done, must be done, don't dwell on the past,"

"I can't help it, I'm the lore keeper, it is my sole duty to keep all history of this realm. Knowledge is my business."

"Andrew, can I speak to you for a moment?" I asked.

"Fine," he said, still a bit uneasy. Brandon looked over and walked against a shelf and leaned against it. "What is it you want?"

"The slayer after us, his name is Whittaker, and he did something to me, to where I can't use my powers, I'd figure I'd save some time just asking you then trying to find it in the book."

"That's alright, it isn't in the book anyways, but he must have severed your link with the void. Nasty magic he deals with, but you can reconnect."

"How?"

"Strong emotions, when you first found out about your abilities, you need to relive that moment, but only stronger, I can help if it means that much to you, but I just want you to know that I believe the way you are now is safer for all of us."

I blushed a bit as I thought back to that moment. It still annoyed me that everyone seems to have something against void seekers. I can't help what I am, but I can't help in general if I don't have my abilities. "Come child, I know you really want to get your powers back."

"Wait," I said as he put a hand on my shoulder. Suddenly he froze and looked back at me, smiling.

"I see now, you just learned about this recently, but we mustn't waste any time, Brandon get over here," he said as he called out to the wolf.

"What is it?"

"We're going to help Aiden get his powers back, I recommend he doesn't be he feels that it's his duty, he has strong instincts. I trust him in the end, we must begin before we they find you,"

"Well how are we going to do that?" he asked. The bear leaned and whispered into his ear. The secrecy made me uneasy.

"Umm, guys, what's going on?"

"Nothing you need to worry about," said Brandon as he walked towards me. I stepped back a bit, until I hit a wall. "Come over here," he said as he grabbed my arm and led me to a room I didn't see before. As we went inside, it was dark, and I was pushed down to sit down on top of a bed. "Shhh, just close your eyes," he said before I felt him places his paw over my eyes and push me onto my back. "Are you sure this is going to work?" I could hear his whisper. I then felt two other bodies join me on the bed. I tried to get up when I felt a paw slip into my pants. "Whoa, just relax, we know what we're doing," I felt a large paw press down on my chest, not letting up. It was a matter of seconds before they stripped me completely. We all laid there in the darkness.

"Find it, find the place where this all started," I heard Andrew say. We all held hands as I tried to think. I focused on the hills but they were nowhere to be found. That was, until I felt Brandon press his lips against mine. As he kissed me, I leaned back and sunk into the bed, but I didn't feel a mattress, just the grass. I still couldn't see the hills, but I could feel it. I could soon smell the flowers. He slid his tongue into my maw as he held me. I felt our weight shift as we rolled. I opened my eyes, and we were there, once more upon the endless hills and fields. "My my, this is quite a find," said the now naked bear. I look as the large bear came by and picked us both back up. "Well we're making progress, but we have to completely establish your connection,"

"How do I do that?" I asked as Brandon held on to me, nuzzling my neck.

"Like this," he stated as he tilted me back and kissed me deeply, his paws sliding up and down my back, before resting on my ass.

"I'll help," Andrew said as I felt him hug me from behind. He slid down on his knees and placed his large hands over my ass, and spread my cheeks. I could feel his hot breath over my hole before he poked it with his cold nose. I moaned as I felt his flat tongue begin to press against my ring. He continues to lap at it as Brandon continued to kiss and shove his tongue into my mouth. I wanted to fall back, but Andrew just held my thighs, and lifted me up as he continued to lick. I squirmed a bit as I felt one of Brandon's paws reach down and grab my rock hard cock. "You know, you're pretty cute," he said from under me.

I blushed, and Brandon pulled off before he began to stroke me slowly. I let out a deep murr as I bent over Andrew as Brandon tool up my legs and began to wrap his tongue around my cock. I just moaned as Brandon and Andrew continued to slurp. I gasped as Andrew began to suckle on my orbs. I was drowning in pleasure, till Brandon pulled off. "I think he's ready," Brandon said, and Andrew nodded as he gave me one last long lick.

They laid me down, and I stared up to see Andrew's thick cock rest on top of my face. I smiled and gave it a long lick, returning a favor. I could see the bear shiver as he pressed his maleness down. I opened my maw and let him slide it in, on the other end, Andrew lifted my thighs, and sat right between my spread legs as he pressed his cock tip against my hole. He pressed in just as I began to suckle on Andrew. I could hear him moan as it reverberated through his body. I continued to suck down on his meat as Brandon entered me, my hole slick from Andrew let his wolfhood slide right in. I let out a deep moan into the cock in my maw. I closed my eyes as I felt the bear's heavy sac rest atop my muzzle. The world was dark once more, but yet I could still see everything clearly. We were all floating in the void, the fields I once saw were still there, just hidden by the mist of darkness.

I felt the wolf grip my hips and pulled me closer as he filled my insides. I continued to moan softly as he rocked back and forth gently as Andrew worked my maw. My tongue lapped gently as I could feel him humping as well. He leaned down and took the place of Brandon's paw with his tongue. The large tongue worked its way around my head before taking it all the way down to the base. I could feel his nose press into my sack as he slurped my cock down. I wrapped my legs around Brandon as he continued to rock me back and forth over Andrew's bear meat. My legs tighten as I came close, I could feel Brandon's knot swelling inside me as well.

I didn't last much longer as Andrew suckled hard, sealing his lips around my swollen knot before swallowing my juice as I came, and like a chain reaction, I felt Brandon erupt into my ass as I gasped and began to swallow Andrew's bear seed. The climax of pleasure lasted but a moment before my body shivered as the aftershock of pleasure left us in a pleasant afterglow. I opened my eyes to see the hills and flowers dance in the wind. The sun was warm and pleasant. Andrew rolled off and Brandon fell forward to embrace me. We nuzzled each other until Andrew scooped us both into his paws and hugged us tight before licking our muzzles. We all giggled and laughed as we basked in the sun's light. Things were great, until we rolled to the bottom of a hill, and heard a scream. Apparently someone was having a picnic until three naked furs dropped in. Startled, Andrew carried us both off as he booked it over the hill.

"Well I definitely say you got your powers back, and I think you displaced us into an actual place on earth." We all laughed and stayed on the other side of the hill for a while. Hopefully the path ahead would be a bit smoother, but that's just my new found optimism talking.

In some large federal building, a familiar wolf and one armed tiger walk out of a closet. The two headed down into the only room with a light on in the dark corridor. They walked into a large office, steel and glass everywhere. Sitting at the desk in a large leather seat was a very intimidating looking panther. His fur dark as midnight, and eyes that were gold like the sun.

"Gentlemen, please, use the front door next time," said a large panther.

"Sorry boss, but we were in a hurry," said Edward.

"Listen Sylvester, your little vampire isn't worth the trouble, you know had a void seeker with him?" Whittaker said as he took a seat in the large office.

"Please, call me Silver, and yes he's worth it, because with his blood, I'll become the new king of the vampires, and a new reign will start. For too long they've kept to themselves, no realizing the full potential of working with the others. They've shut themselves out like a gated community, and soon die out from their own pride," he said as he looked at the two. "Jeeze, what happened to you?" he said to the tiger that's seen better days.

"Lost my fucking arm, and almost got burned to death, this better be worth it!" he said, a bit of spit coming out of his mouth."

"Oh it will be, my friend, it will be, let me see if I can take care of that for you," he said as he got up, and walked toward them. The suit he wore was impressively cut and tailored to his body, showing off every feature it could. He reached a hand out, and suddenly Whittaker's lantern was in his hand.

"Hey!" he said as he stood up.

"I'm just borrowing it," he said as he held the lantern over the tiger's stub. His own arm seemed to be covered with flowing silver, as it encased his arm in shiny metal. He touched the lantern to Edward's shoulder, and the silver flowed off his arm and took the form of Edward's lost arm. When the silver slid away, his arm was there once more. He moved and stretched his claws and made a fist.

"Thanks," he said and sat down.

"Rest a bit; we have business to discuss,"

That's the end of this chapter, let me know what you think, I'll be working on another story right now, but don't worry, I will be back to pick this up, just seemed like a good stopping point before I get burned out on it.
