#1 of The Thief's Apprentice

Enro is a simple thief trying to survive. Today he makes a choice that will change the course of his life.

The market district was jam-packed with citizens of varying wealth. The sound of shouting shopkeepers and the clatter of carriages filled the air. Such chaos would be unbearable to most. To Enro, it was a luscious garden of opportunity. The arctic fox watched the crowd from a dark alley. His rags and taped up paws served as convenient camouflage. In his experience, people tend to avert their gaze from paupers. Enro scanned the crowd until a target caught his eye. A white cat wearing a golden tunic with matching leggings strode down the road. Her fur was coated in random black splotches and she wore a purple lily in her short black hair. "Jackpot."

Enro whispered. He pushed himself from the side of the building and merged with the crowd. The fox effortlessly slipped through the chaos as he made his way to his target. Most people did not notice his presence. Those that did, avoided him like the plague.

Now that Enro was closer, he was able to appreciate the cat's alluring figure. Although her chest was flat, her tight ass and muscular legs made up for it and then some. Enro caught a glimpse of a leather pouch under her tunic. The fox kept his teal eyes locked onto his prizes. Now that he was in range, Enro slipped his paws under the cat's tunic. With his right paw, he got a firm grip on his target's cheek. The other snatched the pouch of coins. The cat let out a little shriek from the fox's touch. As she turned around to see her assailant, Enro circled around her to stay at her back. He pocketed the pouch and once again melded with the crowd.

Enro flowed with the traffic for before shuffling off into a small side alley. It was just wide enough for him to comfortably walk through. The moist mud stained the blue fur of his feet paws. The noise of the market dulled as he walked deeper into the darkness. He hooked around a corner and crouched down in a dead end. Enro emptied the pouch into his paw and counted his gains. "Nice! I might be able to eat something this week."

"Not bad kid." said a voice from above. Enro looked up to see a black figure sitting on a window sill. They wore dark leather armor and a black cloak. Their face was covered by a cloth mask save for a small gap that revealed bright blue eyes.

Enro stumbled back as he pulled a rusty dagger from his hip. "D-Don't come any closer!" He stammered.

The shadow chuckled. "Be careful. We wouldn't want you getting hurt, now would we?" As the words left the mysterious figure, Enro felt the presence of a hundred blades pointed at every vital point of his body. The fox jolted away and slammed his back into the wall. His eyes darted around the dim alley and saw that they were alone. The figure had not moved from their elevated position. "What's wrong?" the rogue teased. "You look like you've seen a ghost." Enro saw the cloth on the figure's face shift in a way that hinted at a smile underneath.

Clearly outmatched, the fox lowered his pitiful weapon. "What do you want with me?"

The figure gently laid their paw on their chest. "What I want is no concern to you." They pointed to him. "The more important question is, what do you want?"

Enro forced a grin. "A bit of coin never hurt."

The rogue raised an eyebrow to him. "I can see that. Surely you must desire more." Before Enro could respond, a snow leopard covered in gold silk walked down the alley towards them. She had long white hair and a lustrous pendant rested on her ample chest.

Her eyes locked onto the fox. "Here you are, just as I predicted." Her eyes shifted to the dark figure in the window. "Shereen. I should have known you would take interest in this one as well."

The rogue squinted at the noble. "Sarah. Still playing dress up I see."

The snow leopard chuckled. "It stops being play once you have the coin to back it up." Her eyes went back to Enro. "Let me guess. She did the whole mysterious and intimidating act didn't she?"

Shereen scoffed. "I would hardly call it an act."

Sarah sighed. "Keep telling yourself that sweetie. Anyway, this one is mine. He isn't fit to be in your... line of work."

"Oh, don't say it like that." Shereen teased. Her eyes shifted to Enro. "I think this one has potential. Besides, it's the boy's choice, is it not?"

Enro's eyes darted in between the women in front of him. "Choice in what?"

Sarah clapped her paws together. "Business my dear boy. I run the thieves guild in this city and we are scouting for new members. I think with a little training, you will make an excellent addition."

The fox turned his gaze to the window. "I assume you have a similar offer."

"You could say that." Shereen said. "I run a society that is a bit more... interesting than petty thievery. I am the leader of the assassin's guild. We could use a pair of discreet hands to carry out our contracts."

"So boy," Sarah said. "What will it be? Do you want to be rich or a murderer?"

Shereen chuckled. "You say that like I offer a volunteer position. If I remember correctly, my jobs pay much more than yours."

Sarah scoffed. "They'll also get you killed."

Shereen shrugged. "Hazard of the job." She looked back to Enro. "Though I must ask that you choose soon. I don't have all day you know."

Enro's heart was beating out of his chest. His brain was buzzing from everything he just learned. He swallowed before mustering the courage to speak. "What if I choose neither of you?"

Shereen pulled a razor sharp dagger from her hip. It was a sick curved blade that had dangerous grove that gave it a second point. "I'll just have to kill you then." Her deadly presence overwhelmed Enro as the daggers returned to his weak points.

Sarah stepped forward with a hand on her rapier. "I'm afraid I can't allow that Shereen."

The rogue's eyes shot to Sarah. "You really think you can stop me you old bag?"

Sarah unsheathed her blade. "Have you so soon forgot who taught you to fight? I won't hesitate to remind you."

Shereen sighed as she put away her weapon. "Fine. By the gods, you can be so serious sometimes."

Sarah sheathed her rapier. "Make your decision fox. This gutter is beginning to make me ill."

Enro looked to Shereen then to Sarah and took a deep breath. He dropped his rusty dagger and walked to the snow leopard. Sarah grinned from ear to ear as she put a hand on Enro's shoulder. "Wise decision. I guess you lose again Shereen."

"This isn't over Sarah." The rogue growled. Her gaze darted to Enro. "I'll deal with you later." The daggers of Shereen's threat were shrugged off by Sarah protective aura. The rogue's body lost its form as she turned into a puff of black smoke.

Sarah giggled. "Dramatic as always." She gave Enro a warm smile. "Don't worry about her though. You're with me now." Enro returned her smile. Even though he was safe, something poked at the back of his head. Did he really make the right decision? Sarah patted him on the back. "Come. We have much work to do." She continued to the end of the alley and pressed one of the stones in the wall. A soft click came from the wall as the stones slid away to reveal a staircase.

"Wow..." Enro muttered.

"It is quite impressive. In our line of work, it pays off to have a few extra escape routes. Now, if you will follow me..." She started towards the stairs. Enro hesitated but soon followed. As they descended, the door closed behind them. The staircase was pitch black. Enro stumbled in the darkness and grabbed hold of Sarah's shoulder. The snow leopard touched his paw and whispered something in a language he did not recognize. Enro put a paw over his eyes as a dull pain struck them. Once the pain subsided, the details of the stairwell came into focus. He could see every step and stone as if they were in broad daylight.

"What spell is this?" Enro whispered.

"Just one of many things I will teach you." said the snow leopard. At the foot of the steps, their path split into seven identical hallways. "Enro, remind me. What day of the week is it?"

"Wednesday. I think."

Sarah nodded. "Number seven it is then." She led him down the path furthest to the right. As they walked, the only thing Enro heard was the sound of his own paws hitting the stone. Each of Sarah's steps were as silent as night.

Sarah's arm darted in front of the fox forcing him to freeze in his tracks. "What's wrong?" he asked.

The snow leopard felt the walls. "Just disabling the security system." As she pressed one of the stones, the floor in front of them flickered away revealing a spike trap. A solid stone floor extended over the pit.

Enro stared at the mechanism. "Wow. What would have happened on the other paths?"

"Depending on the day of the week, the rest of those paths could be giant furnaces or crushing traps. This spike pit is just a line of defence in case an intruder gets lucky."

Edion put a hand over his mouth. "By the gods. It thought you didn't kill people."

Sarah's laughter echoed through the halls. "Oh please. Nobody has triggered these traps in over twenty years."

"Why even have them then?"

The snow leopard giggled as she continued down the hall. "Better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it."

Enro looked at the ground where the trap used to be. "I guess so." He followed her down the hall until they reached a large wooden door. As Sarah snapped her fingers, Enro's night vision faded. The door lead into a massive tavern filled with suspicious rogues and well dressed nobles. All of the tables were covered in white silk cloths with golden trim. Glowing crystals grew from the walls, lighting the establishment. Enro looked upon the scene in awe. "What is this place?"

"Welcome to the Golden Tiger." Sarah said. "It is my tavern that doubles as the thieves guild headquarters. Before your lessons begin, we must get you looking presentable." She led him to a pair of wooden double doors. "This is the bath house. You'll find everything you need inside. Come to me when you are cleaned and ready for your lessons." Enro nodded and pushed the doors open. He was greeted to a wall of steam. He could only see a few feet in front of him but heard a few figures moving in the distance. The sound of splashing water became louder and louder as he padded through the haze. Once he reached the edge of the water, a towel, cloth and bar of soap were waiting for him on the rim of the pool. Upon closer inspection, he noticed "Enro Shiva" was embroidered on the towel in gold thread. A mountain of questions piled up in Enro's head but he pushed them aside. This place was strange but nothing has tried to harm him yet. For now, he would just go along with it.

The water was the perfect temperature. A smooth current circulated through the pool, massaging his aching body. The cloth felt as soft as a cloud against his fur. A distorted figure waded through the water towards Enro. His body tensed with anticipation. Once the figure came into view, his heart leapt into his chest. It was the cat he robbed back in the market. This time, all of her black splotches were on display. "You? What are you doing here?" Enro asked.

The cat giggled. "The name's Lily. I'm a part of the guild of course."

"Then why did you let me rob you? You could have definitely caught me if you wanted to."

Lily put a hand on her hip. "Well now that would defeat the purpose of the test, wouldn't it?"

"Test?"

"Yep! It was my job to be the bait for potential new members." Enro's back hit the wall of the pool as the cat cornered him. "But it seems like you were looking for a little something extra."

Thankfully the water hid Enro's stiffness. "Just a tactic." He stammered.

The white cat cocked her head to the side. "Oh? Is this how a thief is supposed to act in the face of his desires? Be quick and take what you want-" Lily shot her paw into the water and grabbed Enro's shaft. "-or, someone else will." Enro melted as the cat stroked him. This combined with the water brought Enro to a place of pure bliss.

"Comfortable?" Lily whispered.

"Extremely." Enro sighed.

Lily had a devious grin on her face. "Good." She grabbed Enro by the legs and flipped him over. The cat bent Enro over the lip of the pool and lifted his ass above the water. "Aw, you have a little heart on your butt. That's so cute!" Blood rushed to the fox's face. He often did his best to hide his blue marking but there wasn't much he could do in this position. Enro jumped as he felt something rub in between his cheeks. It was bigger than anything he had even thought possible. Enro shivered as Lily trailed a claw down his back. "Don't you worry." she whispered. "This is going to be fun."

Lily sunk her paws into Enro's ass and pressed herself against Enro's tight hole. The fox gasped as he opened up for the cat's length. Enro already felt he was at his limit. The fox tightened around Lily as his cock twitched in the warm water, sending streams of cum into the pool. Enro panted heavily as he collapsed on the lip of the pool. Lily scoffed as she sank her claws into the fox's cheeks. Her grip sent a jolt of pain and pleasure throughout his body. "Cumming already fox?" Lily growled. "That was barely the tip!" Her paw slammed on the back on Enro's neck. "You aren't going anywhere until I'm done." Lily grabbed Enro's shoulder and rammed her entire length into the fox. Enro moaned in ecstasy as Lily's massive cock filled his insides. Enro rubbed his belly and could feel Lily's length stretching him out. Lily purred as she pumped into the fox's ass. The water thrashed in time with Lily's hips. With each thrust, a new wave of satisfaction washed across the fox's body. Enro gritted his teeth as he released another round of cum into the water. With a loud moan, Lily slammed hard into Enro's ass. She pulsated inside him, releasing an enormous load of cum. Enro groaned as his stomach swelled to a modest bulge. With a pop, Lily pulled her herself free of the fox, causing a torrent of white to gush from him. She shot a few final strands onto his back that got lost in his snow white fur. Enro collapsed as Lily released him. "You'll fit in here just fine." Lily huffed. She spanked Enro right on his heart mark. "Be careful out there." The cat walked off into the mist.
