Standing as a stark and noble contrast to rugged Pelletine (3) sits the merchant kingdom of Anequina. Situated to the north of the warrior empire, Anequina is called a merchant kingdom for a reason. The people of Anequina deal a lot with the trade and economy of Elsweyr, with the people of Pelletine aiding, by selling their Moonsugar Cane to the north, who refine it and send it elsewhere, no pun intended.
Anequina is a glorious land, much more sandy than Pelletine which, as previously stated, is considerably lusher and more tropical. Notable cities in Anequina include Rimmen, Riverhold, Orcrest and Dune (Constructed of a solid geode). Dar'mhirr lived for some time in Anequina, along with his siblings, Dar'shaza (16) and S'rassa(14), in the northernmost city of Riverhold. This is also where Dar'shaza was tragically taken by vampires. Anequina is a glorious land and, as one who has been there, I can say, beautiful. Since I've never been to the tropics of Pelletine, I cannot compare it, but there is something magic about Anequina.
Another unique fact of the merchant kingdom is that it is home to the Smiling Scum, the Laughing Landless, the Mercenary's Grin, the Renrijra Krin. Of course, I will not tell where this base is, and Anequina is a vast territory. But it is in Anequina to be sure. Ma'jyrr (7) and I (6) were taken to a base located in this land, after the destruction of our village and the execution of my parents.
