If you've gotta use the restroom, do it before you get on a boat with a questionable engine, or you'll end up like Clarissa in this story for Zenkopan!

Clarissa and her boyfriend, Mark, are enjoying an afternoon date on the river. Everything is going smoothly for him, as he loves taking his boat out on Saturday afternoons. Clarissa enjoys his company, so she tolerates the waterways...but it's only when they're far down the river that her body reminds her of her need to use the bathroom.

She comes to regret forgetting to do so earlier, as the boat's engine fails, leaving her stranded with very little privacy. Does she have the guts to pull her panties aside and answer nature's call in front of a crowd?

As always, read, comment and enjoy!

Some people longed for the freedom of the open seas.

Just the ideology of being on a boat, sailing against the waves and feeling the breeze in their hair was enough to reach elation, and though the reality of taking a boat off of the shore wasn't always quite so nice, there was a diluted reality that some were happy to try, instead.

Clarissa didn't need to feel the breeze whipping her hair about, and she didn't much care for the smell of the ocean on the Northwest coast; it only reminded her of salty brine and cold, rainy weather.

She preferred to be able to tame her hair without the assistance of Mother Nature, tucking a few of the long, dyed locks of red behind the sharp flesh of her ear. She didn't need to feel the heavy, powerful waves of the ocean, when the gentle ripples of the river were enough, and if she wished, she could pretend that the lake nearby was her ocean.

Sitting upon the passenger seat in a small speedboat with her boyfriend, a wolf by the name of Mark, Clarissa never fancied herself to be the seafaring type, but she always enjoyed it when Mark prepared a lunch for them and took her on a spin around the waterways behind their house.

They were a few miles up the river from there, eating lunch at their usual spot. A small, old dock that was just sturdy enough to anchor a smaller boat, Mark and Clarissa often voyaged there when they were tired of the crowds at the lake, but on such a beautiful day, they weren't surprised to see a small crowd had gathered at their favorite spot, as well.

That wasn't going to stop them from enjoying the afternoon, as Clarissa took another quiet, polite bite of her sandwich.

"Everything tasting all right today?" Mark asked. Though he was a fairly typical gray wolf, the difference in their species caused him to stand quite a bit taller than she did, and on occasion, they were the subject of some less than tasteful banter about how flexible Clarissa must have been.

Clarissa nodded, though her eyes, a typically captivating shade of amber, were somewhat distant from him. "Y-yeah, everything's fine."

Her gulp was just a lump of food going down her throat, but Mark could tell that she was uneasy about something, and he didn't figure that it was the small crowd of families playing in the water and splashing around by the dock. "Uh...you sure about that?"

The odd couple were in such a rush to get out the door that afternoon that Clarissa never had a proper chance to use the bathroom. She didn't even realize that she had to go until they were halfway down to the boat, and at that point, she felt it more of an annoyance than anything to make her way back up the stairs.

After a few hours out on the boat, however, she was pressing her legs together in frustration and beginning to blush at the thought of having to use the restroom so badly. The concept alone was a bit embarrassing, but she didn't have to admit anything, just yet. She'd barely touched her water, despite the warm sun that was beating down on the boat that day, and if she were truly concerned, she could ask Mark to turn the boat back to his house at any point in time.

"I'll be okay," she finally did reply again, offering a genuine smile to Mark, and a quick kiss to his cheek for his concern. "How much longer do you think we'll be out, though?"

"Is this place getting a little crowded for you?" Mark asked, tilting his head just slightly. The wad of food in his maw tossed over to the side, bulging out his cheek and drawing a quick giggle from Clarissa, though the small bout of laughter put extra pressure on her bladder.

The giggle was followed by a tiny, but noticeable wince. "Hehe... n-no, no. It's nothing like that. It's kind of endearing to see all of these people out in the water, honestly."

Water was the issue, of course, and whether it was the quiet, usually soothing sound of the current trickling over the rocks, the splashing of small waves as families had water fights by the shore, or the sensation of the cool, life-giving essence against her tongue, Clarissa couldn't seem to get away from the stuff; it dominated her thoughts, and the world around her.

It wasn't until she wiped her forehead with the back of her paw and felt a little sweat beading up that she finally decided it might be time to throw in the towel. "Actually...Mark? This has been lovely, and you know I'm having a great time, but can we head back to your place? I've...uh..."

"What's the matter?"

"I'vereallygottapee," Clarissa stammered out her problem in one long, quick string of words, and her ears went flat against her head as she failed to hide her shame about it.

Though her coat of fur was mostly a brilliant shade of orange, Mark was sure that he could see warmth creeping into the cream on the underside of her cheeks. "Oh...that's it? That's what this has all been about?" He asked, before letting out a hearty chuckle. "Yeah, no worries, babe. I'll fire up the engine, and we can head for the house as soon as she settles in."

Just the offer was enough to leave Clarissa breathing a sigh of relief, despite the very real pressure that was still just below her tummy. The date had been so pleasant that she was able to mostly ignore the sensation, and she'd be sure to thank Mark again for showing her such a good time, but until she was able to find a place to relieve herself, she wouldn't be able to focus on much else.

The sound of the engine failing to start was enough to grab her attention, and she immediately groaned at her bad luck as Mark began tapping on the side of the engine housing. "Uh, Mark? I don't think you're supposed to slam it like that."

"Well, it's supposed to start, normally," he argued, as he let out a heavy grunt of frustration. Not wanting to upset his date, he tried to contain the anger in his sigh, but his boat had been giving him trouble lately, and given how much time he liked to spend on it, the loss thereof would be more than an inconvenience.

To Clarissa, it was far more than that, as her thighs squirmed back and forth against each other. Her choice of clothing for the day was helping to keep her cool, as the plain white of her shirt did away with the sunlight, and her skirt was a delicate enough shade of blue that it didn't absorb any heat, but that was all little more than a silver lining, as she tried to keep a rush of liquid from spilling out between her legs.

As much as Mark loved the boat, she couldn't even fathom making a mess upon it, and worse still, how much it would upset him.

The quiet rnnnnng of the engine kicking to life was a second wave of relief for Clarissa, but she'd heard the boat running enough times to know that something was wrong. Mark was still leaning over the side and fidgeting with it for a few moments before he finally slipped back into the driver's seat and let out a long, heavy sigh.

"It's running," he said, as if Clarissa couldn't already hear that, "But it isn't running well. I think we'd better try to bring her home, no matter what the case."

"Long as I get to a bathroom," Clarissa replied. She didn't want the boat to be in any state of disrepair, but she was being selfish at the moment, and thankfully, Mark didn't seem to blame her.

That fact didn't offer her much relief as the gray wolf pushed delicately on the accelerator. The boat crept away from the dock after Mark pulled the anchoring rope, and that much, the vixen was used to...but she certainly wasn't used to the concept of the boat maintaining such a pace as they moved back into the body of the river and continued plodding along.

"Mark-

"I can only get her to run in the parking gear," Mark explained, cutting off his vulpine date and trying not to wear a scowl as he did. "It's already running hotter than it should be, and if I push the engine any further, it might blow. We're just gonna have to tough it out."

Clarissa crossed her arms over her breasts and turned her head to the side of the boat. Her lower lip was beginning to quiver just slightly, and she didn't know how much longer she could hold out, now that her swollen bladder was at the forefront of her thoughts. "I...I really have to pee, Mark. Like, now."

"You've made that pretty clear, babe."

"There's a small gathering of little outhouses at that park over there, right?" she asked, able to see one of the many small playground areas that dotted the edge of the river. In the gaps between the lucky, affluent houses that could afford to be so close to the water, playgrounds and small fields filled the space, and the majority of them were fairly well maintained. It wasn't exactly what Clarissa would have preferred, but if the boat was going to take such a long time to move down the river, she really didn't think she was going to make it.

Mark was starting to sense the urgency as he nodded in reply. "Yeah, I...I guess we can dock over there really quick and hope for the best," he agreed. It was clear that he was nervous, as well, as stopping the engine might mean that he wouldn't be able to get it started again, but as slow as they were moving, they'd be able to roll past the nearest park and see just how bad the lines were.

Clarissa had her pawtips crossed about as tightly as her legs, as she lifted the right one over the left in the hopes that it might shift her focus. She was thinking about anything but her bladder issues, and though her thoughts drifted from just how nice it would be to have Mark all to herself when this was all said and done, to how much she'd like to help him pay for a new engine, she couldn't keep from drifting back between her own legs.

The pressure was growing unbearable as the boat continued to crawl down the river, and as they turned a small bend, Mark did everything he could to wear a comforting smile for Clarissa, who saw the same thing that he did.

"Y...you've gotta be kidding me!"

A family reunion was taking place at the park, which was nothing out of the ordinary...but a family of rabbits often carried a high population, and the line for the restrooms was so long that it nearly extended back to the playground equipment. A few of those in line were doing the 'gotta-go' dance already, and any relief that Clarissa might have felt before was replaced with an even greater burden as she began nibbling at one of her pawtips; she was running out of time.

"Maybe it's not as bad as it looks!" Mark told her, trying to play the role of the optimist, despite the fact that his boat was barely working. "I mean...rabbits are quick, right? They'll probably burn through that line in no time!"

Rolling her eyes at her boyfriend and letting a frown take her muzzle, Clarissa gazed away from the shoreline. "That's a nice thought and all, but that line is gonna take hours to get through."

"I'm...I'm sorry, Clarissa. I really wish that I could make this thing run faster."

The apology was met with silence as Clarissa thought she felt the tiniest bit of moisture gathering at the crotch of her panties, and it wasn't from any kind of arousal. She knew that she was already at the edge of what her body could tolerate, but somehow, she was still hoping that she'd have been able to hold out a little bit longer.

It wasn't until Mark came up with an alternate plan that there was any sound, save for the painful rumbling of the engine. "You could just pee off of the side of the boat, you know. People pee in the river all the time."

"Are you kidding? With all of these other people around?!"

There were a couple of other boats on the water, some of them passing Mark and Clarissa politely, and others were just sitting off on the side, docked at some of the surrounding parks.

"I know it's not the best situation, but I really don't know what else to tell you, Clarissa. It's either that, or find a way to hold it in until we get back to the house."

It was going to be at least another half an hour before the pair made it back to Mark's residence, and just at that thought, Clarissa stood up out of her seat. She winced her eyes closed and wrinkled her muzzle as she turned her rump to the edge of the boat and groaned, unable to hide her discomfort with the moment as she tugged the crotch of her panties aside, only able to hope and pray that no one was looking.

She knew that she wasn't so lucky, and even if it was just a passerby, someone was going to catch a glance of her womanhood. It completely froze her up inside, leaving her with an even greater discomfort, as her bladder tried to release, but her mind refused to let it.

The silk of her undies came back over her sex as she tugged her skirt back down. "There's...really no other way, Mark?"

Mark knew what she was getting at, though he didn't want to acknowledge it. He'd just cleaned the boat that morning to take Clarissa on a date, and the idea of having to clean it again when they made it back to his house was enough to leave him grimacing...

...But it was also a very easy way to prove just how much she meant to him.

"The floor...is kinda waterproof," Mark pointed out, as he stood at the back of the slowly drifting boat, providing a little extra cover. "If you pee on the floor really quick behind the driver's seat, no one might notice."

Such an offer from a man who cared so much about his boat was mind-blowing to Clarissa, but she didn't have the patience to question it. "Oh, thank goodness!" she cried out, barely remembering to press an affectionate kiss to his cheek before she hiked up her skirt and squatted behind the driver's seat. Anyone passing by could still guess what she was doing, but she almost didn't have time to move her panties to the side before a golden stream of relief spilled from her nether lips.

"Ahhh... g-good hell, that's refreshing..." she groaned, keeping her paw clear of the stream as she urinated freely on the floor of the boat. Her body trembled with a relief unlike any she'd ever known before, and the very tip of her tail curled with delight as the last drops of the mess splashed into the rest of the warm, resting puddle. "Thank you so much, Mark. I really can't ever repay you for this."

The wolf wasn't nearly as pleased as his date was, but he smiled and gave a quick wag of his tail all the same. "I'm sure you'll find a way, my dear...now hike those panties up before someone else sneaks a peek."
