"Happy Birthday, Wess!" It was the chant that had been said all day as more and more people arrived. True, it was young Wess's birthday party, marking his tenth to date. Many of his friends were arriving at his home, dropped off by various parents. There was at least fifteen children in all that had come about to celebrate, each one having a large gift in tow, and as the day progressed into the afternoon, things began to get a bit more exciting.

Wess's family was well off, they were able to afford a large house, as both parents were quite successful in their own right. Out in the back yard was where most of the play was going on. Various games and entertainment set out by the party hosts kept everyone occupied. It was a lot of childish things going on, none of which really interested Wess's older brother, who watched all the others from the window of his room up on the second story.

His name was Michael, and he had actually turned eighteen not too long ago and was gearing up for the leap to college once the school year was over. He smiled, content, a handsome leopard that was fit but didn't really stick out too much from others of his graduating class.

He took up his cellphone from the side and glanced over its surface, coming to find that he had a message. His heart gave a slight flutter once he saw who it was from and quickly read it over. He hoped up from his chair and trotted out from the open door of his room, crossing a hallway and descending the stairs that lead out into the living room. So few people were inside the house, so he was pretty much given free reign so long as he didn't mess anything up. While he certainly loved his brother in a brotherly way, Wess understood that things like birthday parties no longer interested someone that was older.

Michael meandered over to the couch and sat down in just the right enough spot that he could see out the large, south facing window that revealed the front yard and road. He came off as nonchalant, but in reality he was waiting. It wasn't a very long wait before a red SUV rolled up and stopped in front of the house. He couldn't hardly see anything through the tinted windows, but it seemed that the birthday party had one late arrival.

The vehicle's door opened up and out hoped a young, raccoon boy, one of Wess's classmates no doubt. He seemed to exchange a few words with the driver, likely his mother, before he took a hold of a red and green wrapped present and shut the door. As the boy trotted up to the front door with a smile, the SUV drove off. Michael took the preemptive opportunity and got up from his spot to walk to the entrance.

Before the young boy could knock the door came open, revealing the grinning cat that held it our as the present did take up both of the raccoon's paws. "Hey, Jesse," the leopard greeted and got out of the way. "Glad you could make it"

"Hi, Michael!" the boy called out happily as he slowly trotted inside. "I wouldn't miss it for anything in the world," he continued with a giggle. While most young boys didn't come off as particularly manly, strong, or confident, Jesse seemed to have a uniquely feminine vibe about him. The way his body had developed had caused his hips to be a bit wider than most, his thighs and shoulders not coming off nearly as angular as the others. No one perhaps noticed this more than Michael himself.

"So where do you want me to put this?" Jesse asked, gesturing to the gift in his paws.

"Oh, right over here," Michael said with a smile, leading the way to the kitchen where a large stack of gifts resided. Jesse placed his among the pile and turned back to the much older sibling, the two sharing a knowing look until they were interrupted by Michael's mother coming in from outside.

"Hey, Michael, hey Jesse! Glad you could make it," she said cheerfully and looked from the older boy to the younger one. She was a leopard just like her son, and came off as as someone who was still pretty young and full of energy.

"Hey, Mrs Havel, sorry I'm so late," Jesse said, his voice sounding more like a girl than a boy.

"Oh that's no worry, the party just started! Come on out,"

"Actually," Michael interrupted. "I had something to show Jesse up in my room. We won't be long."

"'Something', eh?" she said and rested a paw on her hip. Michael gave her a playful wink, letting on to what he meant. She returned the look with a smirk and gave a shrug, something that Jesse was quick to notice. "All right then, we're gunna be cutting the cake and opening presents in about twenty minutes, make sure you're down here by then, okay?"

"No problem," the older boy said and leaned down to take up Jesse's paw in his. "Come on." The raccoon followed dutifully as he was lead back through the living room and up the stairs, his long, ringed tail bouncing with each step that he made. The two trotted into the older brother's room and the door was quick to be closed and locked. Allowed to act more normally now, the raccoon hoped up onto the leopard's bed and stretched a bit.

"So, your mom knows about some of the stuff we do?" he asked and kicked off his shoes to the floor.

"Yeah, she and my dad will do some stuff with my brother on occasion. I can't believe you don't know about her sluttiness," Michael said and sat down next to the coon.

"Wait, seriously?" Jesse said with a laugh.
