My Kit-Cat

I wrote this for my boyfriend. Something to remember me by if something happens to me. I very much hope he loves this.
To me, there is nobody more important than my beloved Kit-cat. He knows just what to say to cheer me up. He knows just what to do to make me smile. He's so loving, so loyal....
I love him so much....he means so much to me. He makes my heart flutter....gives me a warm, fuzzy feeling....I wish I were able to freeze time around us and live a blissful eternity in his arms. Yes....I wish to be held tightly by him....to hold him tightly in turn....and never let go.
I wish for us to one day have a picnic under the sunset. Two lovesick males gazing at the orange and purple and pink hues of the day's end, reveling in each other's company....his tail coiled around my arm, purring softly in his contentment....my head nuzzling into the crook of his neck....holding each other closely....cracking the occasional joke and enjoying our dinner....what I wouldn't give to be living that moment right now.
I love seeing my Kit-cat smile. To see him smile, knowing that it was me who made him smile....it makes me so happy. So happy to know I can make someone happy. By being happy, he makes me happy....
Whenever my Kit-cat feels down, I always blame myself, even if it isn't my fault. I try to kiss his tears away, repeatedly saying "sorry, sorry"....I listen to him vent his frustrations, I cry with him....I try to help him....he tries to help me....
My spirit is breaking. I'm lower than I've ever been. My Kit-cat is my rock, urging me to not give up, to keep a level head, to try and overcome my fears and inhibitions. I feel as if I'm backed in a corner, and my Kit-cat is there to keep me steady. For that, I thank you my Kit-cat. I want you to know that I will keep you close to my heart, always. My love....
There's an entire world out there. But....this world just won't do. This world tainted with hate and war....so we'll create our own world. I hold my paw out to you, my Kit-cat. I hold out my paw to you, hoping you'll take it, hoping you'll say yes. I hold out my paw and ask "See you there, love?"
