Krystal and Fox turned into furs.

Krystal and Fox
** Krystal was holding a staff facing her childhood sweethearts - Fox McCloud. Krystal had brown eyes and long black hair that hung down below her shoulders.**
"I am coming!" exclaimed Fox. He was short and stocky, with wide shoulders. He was twenty-years-old while Krystal was eighteen-years-old.
Krystal waved her staff, sending some small fireballs towards Fox. Fox rushed towards Krystal while slicing the fireballs with his sword. "OUCH! HOT!" suddenly Fox groaned as Krystal cast another spell, turning the ground into a lava pit.
However, the lava pit disappeared after a few seconds as Krystal did not have enough Magical Points to prolong the spell. Fox took this opportunity and rushed forward again. Krystal moved backward as she sent out some mini fireballs.
A man snapped his fingers. "Ok, that's it for today!"
When Krystal and Fox were standing before the man, he told them about their weaknesses. "The other students have gone home for dinner, you two can go home now," said he.
"Thank you, teacher Adam," replied Krystal and Fox almost at the same time.
Krystal glanced at her watch. "Fox, we still got one hour till dinner time, do you want to swim together?" she asked her boyfriend.
"Of course!" replied Fox. He liked to see his girlfriend in bikini suit.
The lake was located at the east side of the village and they went there by cycling. When they reached the lake, they heard the air-raid siren.
"Oh no!" said Fox with a frown. "Our village is under attack. We must go back now."
"Hey, kids," said a cat-like creature, blocking their path. "Going somewhere?"
"They look delicious," said the dog-like creature triumphantly. "Since the village has nothing to eat anymore, they'll be my snack."
Fox stared grumpily at the creatures. "They can speak! They are walking like humans! What are they?"
"What have you done to our village?" asked Krystal in exasperation.
"Why should I tell you?" said the dog-like creature sarcastically.
Krystal cast a huge fireball and sent it to the enemies. The cat-like creature opened his muzzle and swallowed the fireball. Fox chopped the dog-like creature but he felt like chopping a wall.
Fox looked at Krystal, his eyes filled with fear. "Our village is burning!"
Krystal shuddered. "Damn! They are immune to magic, we can't beat them and we can't go back to our village."
Fox looked around but saw nothing except the forest. Nobody would come to rescue them.
Krystal cast another spell, turning the ground into a lava pit but the two creatures did not feel the heat. The cat-like creature sent out some mini fireballs and destroyed the bicycles.
"We must flee, let's get into the forest!" exclaimed Fox.
The forest was tannin-brown. The grass was crispy under their feet. They looked up and the trees were skyscraper tall. Hares were scampering away from them up ahead.
"Oh, you want to play hide-and-seek," said the dog-like creature teasingly.
"This, this," Krystal began, but she was gasping and coughing too violently to speak.
"Is my first time running so fast," Krystal rasped after taking a few breaths.** She looked at the creatures behind her, her eyes wide with fear.**
"But we can't rest now," said Fox breathlessly. Bugs zipped in and out of his ears, humming and buzzing their little annoying songs. Mosquitoes landed on the only exposed skin he had, but he quickly slapped them away.
When they reached the open field, they saw a horse-like creature.
Fox turned to his girlfriend, a smile on his lips. "Before I die, I want to say 'I love you, will you marry me?'"
Krystal sucked in her breath. "I do," said she, nodding quickly.
"Get down!" shouted the horse-like creature as he raised both paws.
Fox looked doubtful, but all he said was, "Ok, we are getting down now, please don't kill us."
The horse-like creature released two laser beams from his paws and killed the cat- and dog-like creatures.
"Hello, my name is Paul and I am a police officer from Time Force Department, are you alright?"
"Your palms are fantastic," said Krystal, getting to her feet a little shakily.
"I am Fox McCloud and she is Krystal. Thanks for saving us, whatever you are, we must go back to help our village," said Fox, rolling his eyes.
"Wait! It is too dangerous and too late for you to go back now, why don't you wait for my friends to come back?" said Paul enthusiastically.
"Sorry, we still don't trust half-animal half-human talking aliens," announced Krystal.
"I don't blame you all, but what are you going to do when you encounter those so-called aliens?" said Paul with a grin.
Krystal and Fox exchanged glances. Krystal shrugged. "You know," said she, "that is a very good question. How to kill them? How to help our village?"
"So, what are you suggesting?" said Fox. His eyes opened wider.
"Join us and I'll grant you the power to kill them," said Paul confidently.
Krystal and Fox looked at each other and then nodded grudgingly.
At that moment, a small spaceship suddenly appeared behind Paul.
Krystal raised her eyebrows. "I think we can trust him, besides, we need the power."
"Yup, the power, we have no other options," said Fox with a laugh.
Paul led the two humans into the spaceship.
Fox looked up with a smile. "So large!"
"The spaceship may look small from outside but the inside is very large, in fact, we have spare rooms for you to stay," said Paul excitedly.
At that moment, more creatures entered the spaceship. Krystal and Fox looked at the creatures in awe. Is this some kind of zoo? Fox thought.
"Friends, they are Krystal and Fox from that village," announced Paul.
They took five minutes to introduce each other.
"Sorry, the village is gone and there is no survivor," said Shaw, running his hand through his blond hair.
"Nice to meet you," said Amy, glancing briefly at her companions. "We are sorry for your loss."
"I guess we are the only survivors," said Fox to Krystal. "We must avenge."
"You don't have to tell me that," said Krystal. "That's why we are here, to become the avengers."
"Come, let me show you something," declared Paul.
Krystal and Fox followed Paul to the medical room. Paul glanced around, then called out, "Elsie. Hey, Elsie, over here."
Fox saw a female panda with shoulder-length blond hair start toward them. Her black jeans, long-sleeved black T-shirt, and black cowboy boots gave her a tough, boyish look. But when she came closer, her face seemed almost childish. Her eye makeup made her dark eyes look huge.
"Elsie," said Paul, "meet Krystal and Fox. They want the power."
After Krystal and Fox sat down, Elsie put two small bottles on the table.
"Listen carefully, we are called 'furs or furry'," Paul began to explain their secret origin. "Understood?" asked he after he finished explaining.
Krystal looked puzzled. "I don't understand half of what you explained, I just want to know how to kill those bad furs?"
"As a fur, you can kill another fur without much training. As a human, nearly impossible. See these bottles? They can transform you into a random fur - ant, skunk, fox and etc. But this is a one-way transformation, you can't become a human again,"** said Elsie with a broad smile.**
"Is it painful? What are the side effects? How..." asked Fox, squinting.
"Wait a minute," said Paul, holding up his paws. "Sorry, I can't answer your questions because previously, no humans dared to drink it."
About five minutes later, said Krystal, "Green water is scary, can't you make it like normal water?"
"This is the best we could make," Elsie told them.
Five more minutes later.
"I want to avenge," said Fox as he grabbed a bottle.
"I will follow you," said Krystal as she grabbed the other bottle.
Both of them gulped down the green water at the same time.
"YUCK! Paul, I don't feel anything," said Krystal, making a face.
"That was nasty! I don't feel like I am dying," said Fox, shaking his head.
Paul thought for a moment. "It's late now, I'll show you your rooms and the kitchen, in case you want to have supper. Hopefully, we still can see you two tomorrow morning," said he finally.

** The next morning, sleepy Fox entered the washroom. When he saw the reflexion on the mirror, he did not feel sleepy anymore. He rushed out from his room to find his girlfriend. Soon, he saw a blue vixen standing outside Krystal's room.**
** Fox hesitated. "Krystal?"**
** The vixen observed the fox in front of her. He has green eyes which sometimes appear to be blue, orange-brown fur, and his golden-brown white-highlighted hair was cut into a crew cut. The rest of his skin was a cream-colored tone. He additionally has a bushy white-tipped tail.**
** "Fox, is that really you?"** Krystal added with a touch of humour. "You look so handsome."
** Fox smiled. "You look sexy," said he. "Let's inform the others."**
** Ten minutes later, Krystal and Fox were sitting inside the clinic.**
** "How do you feel now?" asked Elsie. She pushed her blond hair away from her face and looked curiously from Krystal to Fox with her soft dark eyes. "Do you feel any pains or uncomfortable."**
** Fox gave Elsie an amused look. "I found out that I became like this when I woke up, I have the power!"**
** Krystal's lips curved into a smile. "Me too, no pains at all, no ideas how I became like this. There's a power that comes from deep inside of me..."**
** "The result of your blood sample showed that you are very healthy, your DNA has changed but blood type remains the same," Paul** put in.
** "Cool, now we can go out and kill those bastards," said Fox with a laugh.**
** Paul chuckled. "Not so fast, you must learn your abilities first. There is a small training room here, you can master your skills in there."**
** "Thanks, we appreciate it. By the way, Fox, we are not humans anymore, how are we going to survive on this planet? We can't even finish our studies and nobody would hire a talking creature," asked Krystal.**
** There was a deadly silence after she had finished speaking.**
** "You can form a new team - Team Star Fox," interrupted Paul. "Together we'll arrest bad guys and bring peace across the galaxy."**
** This was followed by a short silence.**
** "That's a good idea," said Fox with a grin. "Team Star Fox for the win!"**
** Krystal gave her boyfriend an affectionate hug. "We'll get married once we reached there," she whispered.**
