Equestrian Stories Book 1 Chapter 7 Heart Break

Alex began to dash down the stairs returning back to the room with the seal. Once he approached the seal it began to crack and then shattered. The door began to slowly open up and then was wide open. Alex looks onward and dashes into the open doorway. He finds a set of stairs leading upward and runs up them. He soon reaches the fifth floor and finds dozens of reanimated pony corpses blocking his way while a bunch of timber wolves with blood red eyes were mixed in. He manages to defeat them all and finds the stairs to the sixth floor and dashes up those stairs.Now he reaches the sixth floor and finds a door raidating demonic energy and he knew right then and there... Pinkamena was behind the door and Selena as well. He slowly pushes the door open and enters the room.

"So you have finally arrived. My masterpiece is neary done now. It dont matter if you try and get to her. I wont let you." Pinkamenas voice cackled within the dimly lit room. Soon the torches leading toward the end of the room began to light on fire and lighting up the whole room. Pinkamena was at the far end of the room sitting on a throne chair. She slowly gets off the throne chair and starts laughing.

Alex growled and began to approach, his artifical left eye now fully opened. He gets into battle stance as he prepares to fight Pinkamena. "Really? We are going to do this again? Fine. Have it your way you dirty stallion." She mocks Alex as the same demonic barrier erupted around her to protect her.

She begins to laugh insanely again. Alex grins as his artifical eye begins to glow "REALITY SHIFT!" He yells as he turns into human form. He holds his hand up as a sword appears in his hand and he grins "It wont end the same way Pinkamena, im going to bring you down for good." His sword begins to glow red and he grins. He dashes forward and slashes the barrier and it begins to crack and then shatters! "WHAT?!" Pinkamena screams as she backpedals a few feet. "DIE!!" She screams as she begins to fire kintic energy at Alex who easily evades the blasts and then charges forward, hammering into her and just as she was going flying he reppears behind her and grabs her swinging her around in a 180 circle and throwing her to the left. He reappears above her as shes going flying and he spins around and kicks her, sending her flying down and slamming into the ground causing the impact to make a small crater.

"You dirty creature..." She growls as she begins to get up and shakes herself off. "DEMON HELLFIRE!" She yells as she uses the same attack from before and Alex holds his sword tightly and slashes the attack in half, sending the 2 halfs in opposite directions and exploding behind him. He suddenly disappears and Pinkamena begins to look around "Wher.... GAH!" She was beginning to say but Alex hit her and sent her flying, he begins to teleport all around hitting her back and forth. He stops as time seems to slow down as Pinkamena was heading straight for him. His fist begins to shine as he punches her and she becomes a pink blurr and slams into the wall. Just then his artifical eye closes and he becomes a pegasus again "Dammit!" He yells as he now doesnt have access to his full power now.

"FINALLY! I was wondering when you would lose access to that power, and just in time too.... my masterpiece is completed." She disappears and reappears at the throne again and with a flick of her hoof the throne chair vanishes along with the wall behind it, unvieling Luna within the capsule. Her normally dark blue colors were now blood red and the moon cutie mark on her flank was now reversed. Her brilliant blue stary hair and mane were now also blood red colored too. "Can you even lay a hoof on the one you love the most? can you hurt her? I would love to see this happen!" Pinkamena cackles as she slowly disappears leaving Alex alone with the corrupted Luna. The tube she is in begins to crack and then shatters to pieces and Luna slowly lands on the ground.

Her eyes slowly open so show blood red eyes with dragon like pupils. She begins to snarl and growl at Alex as she begins to slowly approach him. "Selena... no... I cant fight you.... I cant hurt you...." he begins to slowly back up. Luna lunges at Alex and he manages to get out of the way, he yips as he feels her grab him by the tail and begin to slam him into the walls and ground repeatedly. He was pushed against the wall and Luna slams into him breaking through the wall as his body goes flying. He manages to stop himself from falling and begins to fly away and evade the attacks Luna was throwing at him. She begins to fire powerful magical blasts at him, he dodges these hits but the citdal takes the full hit and begins to crumble down from the multitude of attacks.

Alex manages to fly away and gets hit right in the back the magical blast burning his wings severely causing him to screech in pain as he bounces against the ground repeatedly. He tries to stand only to feel Luna slam down on him, blood splurting from his snout as he feels her pick him up again and throw him. He slams into the barrier he creatd as he feels Luna begin to bombard him with multiple hits and eventually he gets thrown through the barrier causing it to shatter. He sickenly bounces off the ground, a small blood trail following him.

Luna slowly approaches him and keeps growling. She stops as she sees her older sister blocking her path. "Dont do this sister! This is not you!" She says as she prepares to defend Alex "GET OUT OF MY WAY!!!" Luna screeches and blasts Celestia, sending her flying and slamming into a nearby boulder, knocking her out. She growls angerly as Twilight and her friends arrive onto the scene "We gotta protect Alex!! HURRY!" Twilight yells as they run to get to Alexs side "BEGONE!!!" Luna screeches as a powerful wave of magical energy bursts from her sending everyone flying. She lifts Alex up with magical tendrals and forces him to spread himself out. "Selena...." He weakly says as Pinkamena appears "You foolish stallion.... you honestly believed she would snap out of it? Her heart is gone! Shes MINE. And to further prove it..... here DemonMare Of The Night. Take your time torturing him! hehehehahahahaha!" Pinkamena laughs as she hands Luna a sword.

Within Lunas mind

Luna slowly began to open her eyes as she could now see everything going on as she was chained up within her mind. She watched helplessly as her new form began to slowly make cuts into Alexs side and flank as he screams out in pain. "Luna... I... will... always... love... you... Im... sorry.... you... will... always... have.. my.. heart...." She hears him weakly say as tears begin to pool up in her eyes "Alex.... no.... I... I dont want to lose you!" She begins to thrash against the chains within her mind "Like you ever loved her! Why would you erase her memories then?!" Luna hears Pinkamena yell and stops thrashing for a second. "To... protect her... from... scum like... YOU!" He snaps back as he then screams as the blade was pushed slightly into his side. Luna began to cry and thrash even more

"End it DemonMare. The fun is over. Kill this dirty stallion and then we wont have to worry about him interfering anymore!" Pinkamena orders DemonMare as she begins to get bored of this whole situation. DemonMare begins to press the blade against Alexs neck as tears flowed from Alexs eyes

"Its over dirty stallion you have lost."
