Once upon a time, in a magical kingdom known as Fantasia,

  there lived an evil queen.

  Selfish and cruel,

whom lived in fear that one day her stepdaughter would marry,

and she would lose her throne forever.

And so, she did all in her power to prevent the princess from ever meeting

the one special prince with whom she would share true love's kiss.

Skye Whitetail, hummed to herself as she focused on the task at paw, focusing on the piece in front of her. She titled her head, she couldn't help but feel the statue was missing something. Tapping her paw against her face, the vixen sighed in deep thought. Here the Princess was, creating a statue of her Prince who didn't even exist. She imagined him to be tall, with a soft bushy tail, his eyes a striking green or blue and his fur, a dark red. She was brought from her daydream, as a paw tapped her shoulder. She turned to see one of her smallest friends, a shrew by the name of Fru Fru Big. She grinned, when she spotted the object in the shrew's small paws.

The shrew seemed to notice, and she quickly held up the small emerald jewels to the vixen. "For your statue, Ky. Every Prince needs his beautiful eyes." She offered cheerfully. The fox smiled down at her, and nodded carefully taking the jewels from her small paws. Placing them on her statue, she grinned. The eyes fit perfectly. She curtsied in front of the statue, her grin wide and held the paw of it with her own.

"A dance, for moi? Oh how kind of you to ask." Skye raised a paw to her mouth in mock surprise as she twirled the statue with her as if they were dancing together across a marble floor.

"A kiss? Oh, why Prince Edward it's much too soon don't you think," she paused as if the statue was answering back, "Well alright, if you insist." She leaned forward as if to place a kiss against the piece of wood, before realizing something was missing from the statue.

"Oh My Goodness. Well of course, you'd need lips to kiss. How silly of me." The vixen gasped, quickly she grabbed a felt pen and with careful expertise drew on a pair of lips. Her attention was stolen, as she suddenly heard singing from the outside of her window. Her ears perked up, and she closed her eyes listening softly. The tone was low yet comforting, smooth and distinctly male.Skye grinned, sharing a look with Fru Fru at her side.

Deciding to follow the voice, Skye jumped out her window and took off. She ran to find the beautiful voice, already picturing the handsome Tod. A Prince perhaps, whisking her away into the sunset. She reached the fields, behind her cottage and stopped in her tracks. Her breath caught in her throat, as she spotted the most beautiful fox. He was humming under his breath, singing almost inaudibly. His fur, was a bright red, dipped in the darkest brown she'd ever seen around his paws, his ears were tipped the same way. His tail was soft and bushy, laid out big behind his form. He turned just a bit and she caught sight of his eyes, the prettiest emeralds she'd ever seen. She had to know his name.

She stepped closer, listening as he sung. "I've been dreaming of a true love's kiss, And a princess I'm hoping comes with this." Skye grinned, deciding to make her presence known by joining in.

"So to spend a life, Of endless bliss, Just find who you love. Through true love's kiss." The vixen smiled, as the fox turned suddenly falling due to the surprise of being heard singing.

"It's you!." The vixen suddenly announced, smiling at the fox. He pointed to himself in confusion.

"It's me?"

"You are the Prince, I've been searching for. My true love, what is your name?" Skye asked eagerly.

"Nicholas Wilde, Princess-" The fox hinted for the maiden's name.

"Princess Skye, Oh Nicholas we shall be married in the morning." The vixen cheered. Nicholas grinned, enchanted by the beauty of the vixen. It was true, that he too was searching for a Princess to marry. A beautiful vixen to sweep him off his feet, and he found her. Nicholas kissed the vixen's paw, as she whisked him away to tell her mother. The Queen, that she'd found her Prince Charming to wed. Or in this case, her Prince Nicholas.

Meanwhile, Bellwether scoffed from her pedestal. The crystal ball in front of her, showing the Tod and her daughter as they scurried across the fields. Paw in paw, with love-struck grins on their faces.

"So this is the mutt, who plans to steal my throne." She scowled. It was no secret, that The Queen was a jealous one. And that once her daughter married, she'd become Queen and him King, and the throne she'd sat on for many years would no longer be hers. Doug, her most trusted henchmen. Stood at her side, staring dreamily at the Queen before him. She of course, noticed this and decided to use this to her advantage.

"Dougie, my handsome. Would you mind, doing something for me?" She glanced at the crystal ball, catching sight of the frolicking couple. A wicked gleam, was seen in her eye as she looked to the ram, who'd help carry out her plan.

Her daughter would not be married, nor will her throne be taken. Not if Bellwether had anything to say about it. She turned to face the ram who stood eagerly, wanting nothing more than to please his Queen.

"Find, this fox. Tell him, the Queen would like a word with him." She smirked. The ram was gone within a single minute, and the ewe sat back with a wide grin. Oh this fox had no idea, what he was in for.
