Dragon Storm: Chapter 24: Yun vs. Cross Wing!

Hey there. Here I am at the end of the day. I have been moving my stuff all day and finally have the time to relax. As I sit here pondering about Dragon Storm, I can't help, but think about all the cool games coming out soon. Final Fantasy 13, Kingdom Hearts birth by sleep, Golden sun DS, God of War 3. Another Mario and Luigi RPG would be nice, and KH3, and I haven't seen a Star Fox game in awhile... what the hell? Another Super smash brothers game would be great! Anyway, please enjoy the chapter! XP
-PREVIOUSLY ON DRAGON STORM-

This attack sent the chimera back to the ground and in massive pain. The chimera roared as loud as it could. Rio had not even landed yet when suddenly; the chimera got on one knee and landed a punch on Rio. This sent Rio's body flying into the snow, thus putting out the fire on Rio's arm and leaving a first-degree burn. Rio skidded across the snowy ground and into the side of the tower where May and his black and red sword were.
"ARGHGHGRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!" Rio screamed.
"Not again..." Rio thought.
"RIO! Uh! Ouch!" May said and kneels in front of him to begin healing him.
"It's just like before! Almost all his bones are broken! I can sense where his pain is coming from and what is causing it with my power, but I won't have enough time to heal a wound this bad. It's unlike anything I've ever seen before! One of his ribs has punctured one of his lungs! At this rate he will drown in his own blood." May thought.
The giant teenage chimera slowly walked toward May and balled up its massive fist and strikes at her. May and Rio closed their eyes and waited a few seconds. After a while they both opened them up and couldn't believe it. Standing in front of them was a black and white dragon. He was holding up his sword and had blocked the attack.
"................" May remained silent.
"Yun!" Rio said.
"I still have a score to settle with him." Yun said.
(Flashback: An earlier event)
All the creatures of all kinds of shapes and sizes nimbly scurried around the place attacking Yun and the griffin soldiers. Yun quickly got back up and started to fight them off as if they were nothing. The griffin soldiers fired their guns and some of them used their talons and beaks.
"HEY!! MOVE OUT OF THE WAY YOU IDIOT!!!!!" Yun yelled as loud as he could, then got restrain by one of the griffins and tackled by a creature.
(Flash forward: Griffin Stronghold courtyard)
"It's this things fault I got attacked by all those creatures! So now I will return the favor by sending it to hell!" Yun said.

CHAPTER 24: Yun vs. Cross Wing!

" What the hell!?" Cross Wing said.
"I'm not like Rio. I won't give you a chance to attack!" Yun said.
Suddenly, Yun slices the Teenage chimera's large fist away. The chimera roared as he attempted to kick Yun. Yun effortlessly stabbed his sword into the foot of the chimera, as its kick got close enough. The chimera roared again and got free sending the sword flying back at Yun, however, Yun caught the sword by the handle and dashed off toward the chimera.
Yun dodged the chimera's attacks one by one but one of the chimera's attacks grazed him. This attack from the chimera swiped off Yun's black shredded robe like outfit and revealed a black and white dragon covered in a battle suit and six swords could be seen on him. Besides the one he was holding, the other five were still sheathed. Yun's whole battle suit covered him and only exposed his shoulders, his left foot, his face, and his tail. He had a nice and strong muscular body and his eyes were a dark brown color. He had scales, but it was hard to see because of his fur that covered them. He also had on his device on his right arm that alerted him of any nearby danger and wore a white torn ribbon on his left arm.
Just then the chimera's scorpion tail hurled itself at Yun. Yun quickly sidestepped it and sliced it off. The chimera roared in pain and blood spewed out from the wound like an erupting volcano. Suddenly, Cross Wing shot her PSG-1 sniper rifle at Yun, however Yun's device made a beeping noise and alerted him of the incoming danger and he avoided the bullet while running toward the giant chimera.
"Why can't I snipe you!? Stand still!" Cross Wing said.
Yun dodged all the incoming attacks and finally reached the giant chimera. The chimera suddenly slammed the snowy ground tossing snow everywhere. The chimera lost track of Yun for a second because Yun kind of blended in with the snow, however Yun revealed himself behind the chimera and jumped up to slice his back. The chimera roared and turned around and attempted to grab Yun, however Yun pulled out a second sword and pressed a button on each sword handle. This shot out a thin steel cable line from each sword that shot into the communications tower and swung Yun around in midair, thus avoiding the chimera's grab. At this point Yun was now behind the chimera again and used both of his swords to slice off both of the chimera's black wings. The chimera roared even louder then ever and kneeled down to endure the pain. Meanwhile Yun landed on the snowy ground and did a few back flips then stopped to put his swords away. Just then, Cross Wing sniped at Yun again and missed yet again. Yun proceeded to dodge her bullets and then took out a capsule and threw it into the air and smokes busted out from it. When the smoke cleared a giant broadsword could be seen falling into Yun's hands. Yun quickly dashed off toward the chimera and began slicing it. The chimera roared again and jumped up into the air and landed on the ground causing a heavy tremor. Yun fell down, but quickly got back up just in time to only get grazed by Cross Wing's next shot.
"I got you that time." Cross Wing said reloaded her last magazine.
"Hmph." Yun muttered.
Yun quickly threw the broadsword down into the snowy ground so that the blade was facing upward and the handle was wedged into the snow. After which, Yun dashed toward the giant chimera and pulled out one sword. The chimera attempted to punch Yun the same way he punched Rio, but missed. Yun then stabbed the chimera's fist into the ground and jumped up on his arm and ran up. Suddenly, Cross Wing flew in from nowhere and tried to whack Yun with her sniper rifle and then kicked at him and finally pecked at him. Yun ducked under the first attack and blocked the kick, however he got pecked by Cross Wing's beak. Yun quickly, roundhouse kicked her away, however it was almost too close for comfort as the chimera smacked his shoulder in attempts to smash Yun. However, Yun's device went off and he dodged by jumping down and landing on the snow. Yun then threw his sword into the chimera's left thigh and pulled out another sword and did the same with his right thigh. Then Yun jumped up and before Yun could react Cross Wing had grabbed him in midair. They both struggled with each other for a while.
"Let go!" Yun said.
"I don't want to lose! This is where you will die!" Cross Wing said.
Just then, the giant teenage chimera saw this aerial struggle and with his free hand tried to punch them both. They saw this attack coming and kicked off of each other in order to avoid the punch. When then both landed they began to clash sniper with sword.
"Whoever this guy is.... He is amazingly strong. Is he your friend Rio?" May asked.
"I don't know yet. It doesn't matter May I promise I won't let you get hurt anymore." Rio stated.
"Easy for you to say Rio...This wound is taking up my last little bit of Quintessence and once I'm out how will we be able to put a stop to this chimera let alone the Adult chimera? The wound in your lung is healed, I just need to extract the blood and you should be good to go." May thought while healing Rio.
Yun proceeded to clash with Cross Wing and then she flew into the air and began to snipe at Yun. Yun dodged and avoided as much as he could, but he could not dodge them all.
"AHHRGHH!!!!" Yun yelled.
"Your not as fast as Rio! I can hit you no problem... It's that damn device you have. It keeps warning you to avoid when necessary. That's the only thing you got on me you worm!" Cross Wing said.
Now Yun's left shoulder was bleeding and he was in much pain. However this did not stop him. Yun quickly ran toward Cross Wing and pulled out another sword and threw his first one into the air. This distracted Cross Wing and then Yun stabbed her with the sword in his hand. When the other sword fell back down Yun caught it and pressed the button on his sword that currently impaled Cross Wing. This sent a surge of electricity into Cross Wing and numbed her for a little bit. Meanwhile Yun pulled out his sword out of her and dashed off toward the giant chimera once more. This time with two swords in Yun's hands. Yun then threw both of his swords at the swords in the chimera's thighs and pushed them in even more. Then the swords fell toward Yun and he caught them both by the handle. Suddenly, Yun jumped up and dodged the chimera's punch attack yet again. When Yun landed on top of the giant chimera's shoulder, Yun quickly stabbed the right and left shoulders of the chimera. He made sure he stabbed them both in as far as he could. The chimera roared as loud as he could which caused a light tremor. Then the chimera froze. Just then Cross Wing got up to see the giant chimera getting shocked by the four-stun swords that impaled him. He was electrified by at least 10,000 volts altogether. As Cross Wing saw this she was in shock. Yun was now laughing evilly and pointed at Cross Wing.
"I have done it! Your end is near Cross Wing!" Yun said.
"What have you done?" Cross Wing said.
(Meanwhile)
"There. Finally. Now all I have to do is get out of here and get to the tower. That is where Rio must be." Lazz said.
"Wait!" Necro said.
"Huh? Who's there?" Lazz asked.
"I am the demon of the night, Necro. I am also Rio's new friend." Necro stated.
"I'm sorry, but what the hell does that have to do with me?" Lazz asked sternly.
"It's simple. I cannot allow you to find Rio. Rio promised me that he would come back to save me. However... I have prior engagements. Rio will be coming back soon... I can't let you see him." Necro said.
Just then Necro unlocked his cell from the inside and stepped out to meet Lazz face to face. He looked over to see his cell door was melted and then looked at Lazz.
"So you are Rio's friend, huh?" Necro said.
"Why won't you let me find Rio? If you're his friend then you should join me... right?" Lazz asked.
" No. Not you. You are only a friend to him... not me." Necro said.
"The friend of a friend is my enemy?" Lazz said.
"You could say that." Necro said.
"Why are you stopping me Necro?" Lazz said.
"There is no reason to tell you... since I plan on killing you right here and now." Necro said.
(Meanwhile)
"What do you mean by that?" Cross Wing asked.
"It's over for you Cross Wing!" Yun said.
Just then Cross Wing got frustrated and shot her PSG-1 sniper rifle at Yun, however it was blocked by the giant chimera's hand.
"What the hell?" Cross Wing said in surprise.
"Die! RAA!!!" Yun yelled.
Suddenly, the chimera threw a punch at Cross Wing, however she avoided by flying upward. Just then Yun inhaled a breath of air and exhaled a light blue mist upward above Cross Wing. The mist mixed with the rain and created ice shards that rained down on Cross Wing damaging her bad. This sent her back down to the ground only to jump back to avoid being kicked by the chimera.
"So you can exhale cryogenically, huh? That is some dangerous stuff. It will freeze anything it touches in seconds." Cross Wing said.
"One of my many unknown secrets you dumb ass bird." Yun said.
Suddenly, the giant chimera attacked Cross Wing again. Cross Wing couldn't figure out how Yun was doing this, but what she did know was that if she got hit even one time from this thing; that she would be destroyed for sure.
"Damn him! He's got me trapped! I can't use my sniper because he will just command the chimera to block it like before. I can't fly because he will just use his ice breath. I don't have any more creatures left after that damn wolf blew them all to hell. Also thanks to this snowy terrain, I am having trouble running around just trying to dodge, let alone fight back. I also got to figure out how he is controlling it." Cross Wing thought.
"I have turned your giant monster against you Cross Wing... how will you fight back? You see, I have stabbed him in four places. Both of his thighs and both of his shoulders. In this way I have punctured so deep into him that I have dislocated his joints and can freely move him around however I want, with no resistance back from him. I have steel cable lines tied to the handle of each sword that I can pull and turn in order to move him about freely. It leads back into my suit where there is a mini coil on the inside. So tell me Cross Wing how will you -" Yun started to say, but was interrupted by the chimera exploding sending Yun flying back and landing head first into the snow.
"ARGRGHH!!!!!!!!" Yun yelled.
"I always make sure to arm my play things with explosives." Cross Wing said while smiling.
"........rghh. but... I didn't see any on him..." Yun said while standing up.
"That's because they are planted on the inside. Remember that this chimera is only a creation, a Pseudo. It is by no means a real chimera!" Cross Wing said and held out a detonator.
Chimera guts and blood was splattered all over the snowy field. The once pure white ground now looked like a tie-die work of art. There was a little bit of every color you could image. Limbs could be seen now somewhat covered in snow. All the colors then started to blend together as the rain-washed them all into one another.
" Good! So now I can just kill you to finally end this! That takes care of the chimera." Yun said.
"It's useless trying to snipe you if you will just keep avoiding them all. I refuse to waste my ammo like that. So I have decided to end this right here and now. Behold my G.O.N.!" Cross Wing said as she emptied out her last magazine of it's bullets and placed the magazine itself back in the sniper rifle without any bullets.
Suddenly, Yun found himself completely surrounded by mini pink crystals in the air. He began to run as his device kept going off over and over to alert him to move. The pink crystals hurled them selves at Yun with some speed, but they were still slow enough for Yun to dodge. Just then, a giant pink crystal emerged from the ground and spired upward. After Yun avoided the crystal he jumped back to avoid another and another. More and more giant pink crystals began jetting out from the ground while they rained from the air. Yun dodged as much as he could but it was no use. Pink crystals stabbed him over and over again.
"......huff.....huff............huff........I see. I understand your G.O.N. now Cross Wing." Yun said while pulling out a sword.
"Oh really? Don't act smug! I can kill you at anytime!" Cross Wing said.
" You are able to instantly crystallize anything that is nearby. Although you look unarmed, everything around you is a weapon. So this is the famous crystal G.O.N. I have heard so much about. No wonder you caught Rock Lizard's eye." Yun stated.
"You may know about my power but that doesn't mean that you can stop it!" Cross Wing said.
"The trap is looking good... the seed of the Octangular Jade crystal placed in the 8 Trigrams 8 square formation. When this thunder storm produces another flash of lightning, the light inside of the Jade crystal will bounce around trapped for all eternity." Cross Wing thought.
Suddenly, a flash of lightning could be seen and Cross Wing smiled and yelled.
"BLOSSOM! JADE CRYSTAL LABYRINTH!!!!"
Suddenly, Yun found himself trapped inside of a giant crystal labyrinth. Yun quickly picked up his swords and wandered around trying to find Cross Wing, but it was no use... he kept seeing images of himself in a pink infinite mirror maze.
"Now's my chance! JADE CRYSTAL MIRROR!!!!"
Just then a pink mirror appeared in front of her and she could see her own reflection.
"Alright! Now go JADE CRYSTAL CLONE!!!!"
Suddenly, Cross Wing's reflection began to move and jumped out of the mirror. Then another one popped out. Soon, there were many copies of Cross Wing scatter all around.
"This is the second time I have ever had to use this attack. You are done for." Cross Wing said.
"Thanks for healing me May!" Rio said.
"Not a problem. I don't have any more quintessence left so let's be careful." May said.
"How the hell do we get out of this maze of mirrors?" Rio asked.
"I don't know. It feels like we are in a fun house or something." May said.
Suddenly, Cross Wing appeared from behind May and used another Crystal attack.
"Now I got you! JADE CRYSTAL BLADE!!!!!!" Cross Wing yelled.
Suddenly, a pink blade of crystal appeared on Cross Wing's right and left arm and she began to swing at May, However Rio parried the attack with his black and red sword and they each continued to clash. Suddenly, the crystal labyrinth grew trees the size of buildings and everything was shiny and pink with a purple tint. The tall crystal tree's leaves fell toward the ground and aimed themselves at Rio from behind. May quickly sniped Cross Wing in the head and she shattered to little pink crystal shards. Rio then dodged the crystal shards headed for him from behind.
"So it's a G.O.N. that crystallizes material... if it crystallizes the moisture in the air, there are an infinite number of weapons to use for attacks. On top of that... May is out of Quintessence and I can't use my G.O.N. either because inside this Jade crystal light is refracted so I am bound to run into something that could be sharp enough to kill me. We can't let this battle draw out." Rio thought.
Just then, a copy of Cross Wing appeared behind May.
" JADE CRYSTAL PRISON!!!" Cross Wing yelled.
Soon after that being said, May was crystallized and carried off. Rio ran after her to try and get May back.
"Damn it! I just promised her I wouldn't let her get hurt anymore you bastard!" Rio said and dashed after her.
Elsewhere Yun was fighting off two Cross Wing copies and the three of them all clashed blades. Sword attack after sword attack Yun deflected and parried. However one of the attacks from the Cross Wing's got through and cut Yun on the arm. Suddenly, his arm began to bleed crimson red and then shortly afterward it began to be crystallized. Yun quickly exhaled cryogenically on the wound to seal it before the crystallization could reach it. Yun was surprised to see such an experienced warrior. Just then one of the Cross Wing copies charged at Yun full speed ahead. Suddenly, Yun sliced the copy of Cross Wing in half and then did the same to the other copy. However, Yun now found himself surrounded by hundred of Cross Wing's. Yun quickly and effortlessly, threw the swords in his hands into the air and pulled out another capsule and threw into the air. Once the smoke cleared from the capsule another two stun swords could be seen. Yun then spun around and pulled out his other three-stun swords and got on one foot and then finally caught the remaining four-stun swords in the air. Yun was now standing on one foot with his back slouched just slightly and his left arm shot straight up and then bent back so that his palm was facing upward. With a sword being held right where his arm bent. Yun's head was leaning against his left arm that was up in the air in order to hold a sword there. Yun also had one sword held in his mouth. His right arm was bent like a swan's neck and he held two blades on that arm. One where his arm bent and the other under his armpit. He also held one with his stomach because of how his back was slanted inward and his leg that was lifted up off the ground, holding the blade in place between his knee and his stomach. He held the last sword at the bend of his leg, which was off the ground. That is why he was on one foot. Actually this whole crazy pose allowed Yun to not only wield seven stun swords all at one time, but it also let him keep both of his hands free.
"What's with that crazy pose?" A Cross Wing copy asked.
Suddenly, Yun jumped into the air very dramatically and spun around while in the air to become a cannonball. Yun crashed into all the Cross Wing copies and destroyed them. One by one they fell to the ground and shattered. Just then Yun landed on the rainbow colored snowy ground and as soon as he did another few Cross Wing copies came from nowhere and tried to stab him, however it was no use as he performed a handstand and sent the sword in his stomach and leg upward and caught them with his free hands and stabbed another four copies of Cross Wing all at once. Every time he cut them he also stunned them. They were all shattering just as fast as they were appearing.
" Hmph." Yun said.
(Meanwhile: On top of the communications tower)
"What was that move just now? I can't even read his crazy ass sword work! Hmm... this is unmistakably Cross Wing's Crystal manipulation G.O.N. And it seems huge. From this high up... I'd say it is about a kilometer across. Judging by how skilled Cross Wing is at using her G.O.N. I think it's safe to say that her Jade crystal labyrinth barrier is an extremely tight structure at the molecular level. They are all doomed. Light sealed inside the Jade crystal can never get out." General Andal said while watching the whole fight.

How will Lazz be able to survive with no weapons, no help, and a missing arm?
What exactly is Necro up to?
Will Yun be able to keep up or will he tire out?
Why was General Andal seen near the battle sight?
