Edit: this in particular is one of the uploads im very displeased with. Very.. Cheap feeling.

Edit2: the idea here is that these two characters are part of a seperate dating sim project im picking up off and on. Two more character bios come up later too. Not very pleased with them either.

while back, i set myself up on a writing challenge. go a month, writing a new story every day, (500 words on days i worked, 1000 words son days i was off) with a theme given to me by my friend ? gothicvixen-autumn during this time, i banned myself from any videogames and computer, limiting myself to books and skype mobile to chat with friends on occasion.

although i failed the challenge, i decided to upload my work here now. Some of them are good, some of them are.. not good. some of them are finished, some are works in progress. comes with the territory i suppose. as always, constructive criticism is always welcome <3

Rena's parents were both traveling business types, that often traveled and left her home alone, or that weeks new babysitter. Around the age of eight, her father found out that her mother had been having affairs for several years, during her trips away. So, they got a divorce, with shared custody of Rena. she was often tossed between her parents homes, often in the middle of a school year; and with their travels for work, it seemed like she was at a new school every time.

With her constant moving around, her parents showered her with gifts, as they're way of saying "don't report us for still forcing you to spend more time with a baby sitter than us."

As a result, most of her childhood was spent buried in gifts, her favorite, was videogames. Little worlds that she could influence and be someone of importance inside. As she grew up, things settled down marginally. Taking herself to a boarding school to live at, so she wouldnt continue to be flung around at her parents will.

While at highschool, Rena was never particularly popular, even despite her voluptuous curvatures that drew in the eyes of many of the schools men. but her constant quoting of warhammer 40k or top tier starcraft strategies, gave away her videogames obsessions, and always kept her out of the cool kids club. Despite that, Rena is proud of her nerdy habits, embracing her social awkwardness and using it to fuel her fire.

Outside of school she doesn't often leave her room or the library anymore, focusing instead on her online relationships and getting better at her wide collection of games. Influencing every world she touches. Her games giving her a method to feeling like she has at least some control, and is at least wanted by the people she rescues and helps in her games.

Her personal favorites were always strategy games, that let her feel in charge, powerful, for a change from her regular life; where she always felt like the nameless unit being ordered around; or big sandbox games that let her carve out her own destiny.

In the very rare times she does socialize, she hides her nervousness well, acting rather adjusted, and doesn't let on about her lust for power. As far as her relationships are concerned, shes mostly down to earth, although a bit "in charge" at times, she isn't a whip cracker, and doesn't get too offended if people charge their own path.

Besides video games, her other hobbies include binging on movies for much longer than should be healthy, and the occasional fantasy or scifi novel; and being the cruel, but fair, games master for any roleplaying sessions that manage to get started around town.

Rena hates to back down from a challenge, wherever it comes from. If she thinks she has even the smallest chance she usually takes it. Dishing out heaps of trash talk in the process.

Maxi grew up in a den with six older sisters, Zelda, Victoria, Tina, Mandy, Louis, and Cassandra; and their single mother, Mikki. With his father running out, before he was born, he no father figure, and was surrounded by women. With seven women, and no men, his home was naturally, very flamboyant in nearly every detail.

While all rather nice to their younger brother, the constant feminine environment made Maxi grow up, rather confused. Believing he really was a woman, He saw no issue with himself wearing skirts, makeup, bows, and any manner of frilly feminine things; why would he? All his sisters did it, and even shared their clothes and makeup with him. Unfortunately, when he got to public school, this attitude made him a point of rather harsh ridicule by the school bullies. All throughout his years growing up, this hasn't ceased or even slowed. But, it also hasn't changed him. Maxi still feels like a woman inside, still dressing and behaving like one despite it all.

A result of this, Maxi has become very introverted, dangerously shy and timid, almost never leaving his home without supervision of one of his older sisters, or his best friend Samantha. Even while at school, he hangs off Samantha's arm like a lost child. Petrified because every time they separate for class, he becomes a target for every bully around again.

Maxi is Even shy around new students, who would have no reason to bother him, but he still avoids them. Afraid they'll find out he isn't a woman, and treat him just like everyone else has treated him for most of his life.

Maxi's best, and only friend, Samantha, is the only person to treat him like a girl, the way he wants; let alone treat him like a normal person.

The two of them met, when Samantha got into a fight with one of the school jocks, to defend Maxi; before they had even met. Instantly Maxi felt safe around Samantha, and they've stuck ever since.

Around Samantha, Maxi found himself to rather enjoy reading with her. Leaning close and losing himself in a fantasy realm, while still close to someone, feeling safe. enjoyableBeyond that, Maxi has always had fun with his sisters, dancing, singing, doing each others hair and makeup, or helping his mother take care of the garden. You could argue, his passion is being around people, doing what they enjoy. Even going out in public can be enjoyable, as long as he has someone to share his happiness with.

Because of his always being sad, Maxi always wants to see others smile, while his timid nature prevents him from doing anything in public, or with strangers; when Maxi is around the people he feels he can trust, like Samantha, or his sisters, he's always bright, bubbly, cheerful, and full of laughter.
